"IF THEY WANT POWER , THEY SHALL SACRIFICE ..... HAPPINESS! " Those words echoed all over the world of 1944 , no one understood what it ment , but a couple hours after everyone heard this sentence , a meteorite fell at a Wasteland of Louiziana , then monsters started appearing all over the world , which led to the creation of a secret Foundation called "Army Responsible For The Containment of Otherworldly Entities" or the A.R.F.T.C.O.E. Foundation .The Foundation's HQ was built upon the crater that was created from the meteorite .The HQ consisted of a training ground for newcomers , several warehouses for the protective squads , labs for researchers , a 12 store building at the middle of the crater , along with a giant building built specifically to keep the dangerous monsters .Overtime the Foundation's staff started becoming more and effective but less official , for example : Newbies started calling the Foundation by a smaller name , A.R.F.T. .Lastly , the Foundation had given a name and specific categories for the monsters , Weak type is an extremely rare type for monsters that can't deal any damage to pretty much anything, Safe is a category for monsters that can deal damage but don't want to , Danger is a category for monsters that can and want to deal damage just not much , Bomb is a category for monsters that can destroy entire cities , Nuclear is a category for monsters that can destroy entire countries , and Supernova is for monsters that are a threat to the entire world .Now the year is 2020 , the squad 11 which consisted of 4 soldiers had just finished their training and they were now an official squad .They were promised a prise for their hard work and a conversation about the potential prise had started , Elizabeth the youngest of the group asked everyone

-So what do you guys think the prise will be?I hope it's a vacation cause we deserve it if you think about it ,they did say that we're the strongest squad after all.

Roque , the strongest and most confident of the group answered

-What do you mean?I'm the one who carried you and the only reason we have that title , I just hope it's worth our time!

Rei , who was having a bit of an existential crisis at the time said

-Whatever , I just want to get this over with .I need to think right now and this agony isn't helping .

And then , Nero , the leader of the group said

-C'mon man it's gonna be something amazing I'm tellin' ya .

The squad finally arrived at the main building , they got in to claim their prize , and they heard a gunshot ..... Elizabeth was shot on the head .Rei didn't know how to react so he was trembling while tears were falling down his face ,Roque tried to hide his shock by looking the other way , and Nero put on his sunglasses and demanded an explanation .Then a man dressed in white , and a girl that looked no older than 16 years old revealed themselves .

-This girl's name is Naotori , she is your prise , your new squadmember , do not worry Elizabeth is not dead the bullet was weak and we'll take her unconscious body , treat her , then we'll give her some amnesia causing pills so that she forgets about this whole place .

Nero then answered

-I'm just glad that Elizabeth is alive .Anyway as leader of squad11 we accept this new member .

The squad then walked to their warehouse now with a new member , Roque then remarked on the way to the house

-I can't believe they gave us a teenager , she won't survive for day if a breach happens.

Naotori stayed silent but Nero asked Roque to not bully the new member.Shortly after they arrived to the warehouse , Roque said that he'll be the one who cooks dinner , Nero then introduced Naotori to the warehouse and showed her Elizabeth's ex-room

-This will be your new room .

He said .Naotori then went to look at the rest of the house .Roque decided to go take a shower after he had finished cooking , but in the bathroom he found Naotori , fully dressed but very confused on how the shower worked .

-I didn't know technology had advanced even at for the toilets and the showers .

She said to herself not aware of Roque's presence , until he asked her

-What the hell do you mean?This is just a normal bathroom have you never showered before?

That caught Naotori completely off guard so she ran away so fast that Roque couldn't even see her.That hurt his pride so he tailed her but she was too fast for him .

-It's because I am hungry that I'm slow .Yeah.

He said to himself.The rest of the day went smoothly , then night arrived , the squad had gathered at the living room .

-Stop sleeping Nero .

Roque said

-Eh?What are you talking about?A good leader never sleeps before his squad .

Nero answered

-Yeah just because you have sunglasses on doesn't mean thag we can't hear you either .Idiot .

The whole squad then laughed , and Naotori had started feeling a pleasant feeling that she had almost forgotten about .That short wholesome moment got interrupted when the speakers of the Foundation started saying out loud : "THERE HAS BEEN A CONTAINMENT BREACH ALL SQUADS EXCEPT FOR SQUADS 11 AND 14 MUST CONTAIN OR ELIMINATE ALL THREATS , THE REMAINING SQUADS NEED TO HO PROTECT ALL RESEARCHERS CLOSE TO THEM!I REPEAT THERE HAS BEEN A CONTAINMENT BREACH!"

Nero's childhood was filled with abuse , betray and tears , it was so traumatic that he forgot about it to escape from it , using the amnesia causing pills that the Foundation gave him in exchange of joining them .But there was one drawback , every time Nero would experience something that would potentially cause a child to be traumatised , all the pain he's ever experienced would be on his eyes , just by looking at them you'd feel as if you're a part of his tragic story , and that's why he wore sunglasses , but he never told his squad because he felt that he would be a burden to them.After the containment breach got announced , squad 11 left their warehouse with their respective weapons , and started searching for researchers to save.Nero got 2 revolvers along with a small sack filled with bullets , Rei got an AK-47 , Roque took his 2 swords , and Naotori took 2 military knives .The researchers of the Foundation lived in buildings up to 5 stories tall , these buildings were spread all over the Foundation's grounds and squad11 went to the one closest to them .But all the researchers that were living in that building had been killed by a monster of "Danger" rank named "Yellow Blob" it was a yellow slime that would manipulate it's body however it wanted , it also had 2 eyes and it wasn't that durable , and had the intelligence level of a house cat .

-Remember every monster has it's own core , the researchers suggest that "Yellow Blob's" core are it's eyes , so we just have to destroy them !

Nero said .However Roque and Naotori were already fighting the monster and Rei told him

-Wow I can't believe how autonomous these two are , guess we'll have to leave it them-

Rei stopped talking when he realised that Nero had also left .Roque couldn't find an opening to actually attack "Yellow Blob" , but the smoother Naotori managed to dodge all of "Yellow Blob's" attacks and once she got close enough , she stabbed it's eyes ."Yellow Blob" then inflated like a balloon and exploded .

-Nice work Naotori .Hey Roque she might be stronger than you , look out.

Nero said

-SHUT UP , SHE WAS JUST LUCKY!

Roque shouted

-Why didn't the almighty Foundation just kill them while it had them anyways.It seems like they know were each monster's core is so it would be much easier .

He continued

-They don't actually know , the researchers just make theories based on each monster's appearance.And they obviously don't kill them to experiment on them and find were they came from .

Nero explained .He then heard an explosion close to them so he and the rest of the squad went to investigate .Once they arrived at the source , they found every member but 2 of squad14 , on the ground , and one of the 2 survivors died as he charged to attack the monster behind this .It was a monster at Bomb rank named "Explosive Individual" , it could create explosions up to the size of 2 TNT bars , appart from it's explosions it didn't have much strength , and it had the intellect of a chimpanzee , it's body was pitch black with read lines extending all over it's body , all of these started from the place in it's body where a human's heart is , that's where the core was .The only remaining member of squad14 was a man called "Jonathan" , and he was protecting the only researcher his squad managed to save .Roque charged head first at "Explosive Individual" but none of his attacks did any damage , in contrast to the monster's attacks that had hurt Roque's body significantly .So much so that he could barely stand up , but he decided to put everything he had left into one attack , so he dashed forward , he yelled

-MY NAME IS ROQUE WILL!

And he got caught up in an explosion that his opponent created , before falling on the ground unconscious.Nero quickly started shooting at "Explosive Individual" catching it's attention and forcing it to walk closer to him , he then ordered Rei to shoot the monster at it's core with his shotgun , which Rei successfully did killing it .The Squad then decided to rest for the night at a cabin that was nearby .In that cabin , the researcher introduced himself

-My name is Don Joseph , I have been working under the Foundation for 30 years and I'll try to help as much as possible !

Nero then ordered

-Amazing , you try to help Roque , me and Rei will stay up all night to guard this place , if you need me I'll be in the balcony .

Jonathan then put his fallen friend's sword on a shelf and lied on the floor .A bit later Rei went to the balcony with Nero to see what he was looking at , and almost everything that was on Foundation grounds had gotten destroyed , all the squads weren't enough to keep the Foundation save , although most monsters had been killed .

-Go inside Rei , this is too depressing , I'm not sure what we'll have to deal with in the morning , right now .

Nero said

-No , I refuse .We're gonna go through this together , like we should , if you remember correctly there was another containment breach in 1960 and the Foundation kept going .Anyway I came here to tell you that I want to leave with you once all this is over , I feel like this is not right , for either of us , like we must be doing something else .You see Nero over the days we spent training I fell in love with you-

Rei realised that Nero was sleeping , he then got his sunglasses of and looked into his eyes.After that , he went inside and said

-All this is because of this bastard Roque .My sweetheart is in pain and he's just sleeping as if nothing is happening !

He then grabbed the sword that Jonathan brought and tried to kill Roque using it , but it was too heavy and it fell on the floor waking everyone up.Jonathan then kicked Rei on the face and yelled

-YOU'RE TRYING TO KILL ROQUE WITH DIEGO'S SWORD?!

Much like Nero's childhood.Roque's backstory was very sad.His Father was quite wealthy , but he refused to invest a penny in his family , not Roque , and not his 4 siblings or his Mom .One day Roque's Mother Lilidya , reported her husband's behaviour to the police .A divorce soon followed and Lilidya took all of the Father's money on top of full custody over Roque and his siblings .A year later , Roque had gone out grocery shopping , he was in the Supermarket for about 30 minutes while searching for everything he needed to get.When he returned he found the front door open , he was weirded out "Maybe I left it open when I left" he thought to himself , once he walked in , he saw the logo of a mafia organization , famous for taking murder cases , and not only killing the targets brutally but also leaving their logo as a mark .Roque dropped the grocery bags immediately and called the police on his flip-phone , but he only managed to say his address before seeing the brutal state of his living room.His mother and his siblings whom he loved dearly had gotten their hands nd legs cut off , and the bodies were hanging from the ceiling ,the blood that was left inside the hands and legs was used to paint the logo of the organization all over the room .Roque's Father had contacted the Organization himself and told them to kill everyone in the house , Roque's survival was made possible through sheer luck .Eventually the police arrived and Roque went to live in an orphanage .While living there he swore to his pride as a human to avenge his family .He then spent most of his life training and creating his own techniques , bringing his body to it's limits very often , while killing members of the organization that killed his family .He was 20 years old when he killed the boss and finally avenged his family .After that he went to America and decided to become an assassin .While training in his apartment , a monster broke into his house , it was a nuclear level called "Narcissist Knight" , Roque had a sword fight with it , and he was doing quite well , but then , Foundation soldiers broke into his house as well , they then threw an insane ammount of amnesia causing gas , which threw Roque unconscious .When he woke up , he didn't remember anything about himself , a Foundation executive approached him and lied to him

-Your name is Roque , you wanted to join us when you encountered a monster and lost your memories.

He then explained to him what the Foundation was , Roque joined since he didn't know any better .His memories came back in his fight with "Explosive Individual" .He woke up the following night to the sounds of Jonathan's and Rei's fight .He immediately understood what was happening and he kicked Rei so hard that he threw him unconscious .Roque then went to talk with Nero

-I am my new self , I now remember who I am .I should definitely leave , but I feel like I've built something new here , something I've never had before .I don't know how to explain it but you just need to know that after we're done with this containment breach thing , I'll leave and lead my own life for once .

Nero answered

- I don't know about your past , but you're obviously very determined and it's really not up to me if you'll have to stay or not , a good leader never forces anything on his friends after all .So you're free to do whatever you want.
