"Hello, Ren Kobayashi. This is Kimi Studio's director, Amelia Saucedo and I'd like to congratulate you on making it through the auditions! It was a close tie between you and another, but we decided to choose you! You've been chosen as Kiss Me Under the Moonlight's male lead! You'll be working alongside Kimmy Ryder-Kim, another amazing actress, as she is the female lead. 

On March 27, 2020, we will be holding a party for those who have made it into the movie at Bridgewater Palace. Please come before 3:30PM sharp as being late will not allow you to walk through the hall we have reserved. The theme is formal wear. Please arrive in formal wear. You have a plus-one admit if you'd like to bring someone. On the Kimi Studio site, you can see the address of Bridgewater Palace. 

The link below is the link to Kiss Me Under the Moonlight's script. Master scripts will be passed out during the meeting on March 27. Your parts will be highlighted in blue. If you cannot make it to the party, you will have the script mailed to your mailbox at Jen Entertainment. In the script, you will see the list of the other cast members. Please pay close attention to your parts. They are important.

    I'm freaking out! I don't even believe my acting is this good! APPARENTLY IT IS! Please smack me in the face again! *smack* I need to call Victoria about this.

    Waiting impatiently, I decided to cook up some instant noodles. My favorite...Samyang Foods Mala Buldak Bokkeummyun. I'm not Korean, but still...so good. I think I should make Japanese curry for dinner tonight. Finally, Victoria answered.

    "What is it, doofus?" she commented rudely.

    "Oh shut up, Princess Fiona. Just listen to the amazing news I'm going to tell you," I remarked.

    "What? You finally clogged your toilet because of the shit you've been spewing about me?"

    "WHAT DID YOU SAY, VICTORIA AMORE GOMEZ?" I yelled.

    "Yeesh. I was joking. You just had to use my full name, huh?" she pouted.

    I sighed. "I got into Kiss Me Under the Moonlight."

    I don't think she got it at first, but realization struck her a few minutes later.

    "Nah. You're joking! A low-class actor like you wouldn't get into such a good movie! How come I didn't get an email back?!"

    "Just check it." I sighed. "I'm going to read the names now. Hopefully you're in this cast list. I don't wanna be all by myself."

    "In the email, did you find out who the female lead was?"

    "Yeah. I'm working with Kimmy Ryder-Kim," I stated proudly.

    I could hear her annoying gasps. "You're kidding right?! If you're joking I'm going to behead you in front of all your fangirls and slaughter you again."

    "I'm not joking. I can forward the email to you. Amelia Saucedo's signature is on the email."

    Victoria was pretending to hyperventilate. "You're going to become more famous than me. Oh shit."

    I laughed. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

    Finally, the entire script loaded, a total of 219 pages of script. Back and front. This was going to be a long movie. I scrolled through until I saw the list of the cast members.

    "Joanna Zavala," Victoria gasped at all the names I recited and gasped even louder at the even more famous ones. "Ethan and Jade Mendoza, Danica Chan, Roman Perez, Seth Mandala, Jaehyung Han-"

    I froze. Victoria stopped being annoying. There was silence for a long time.

    "Oh wow. When he'd get in there?" Victoria shrieked rudely.

    She got no response from me.

    "Ren? You okay?"

    Memories came flooding back to me. "Y-yeah...I'm fine."

    I closed the link. I didn't care who I was working with. No one had to be more worse than Jaehyung Han. "Oh my fucking god. I have to go to a party. It's in two days. I have a plus-one admit. Please come with me. I don't care if we're not dating or anything. You need to be here with me," I sighed. "It's formal wear. It's at the Bridgewater Palace at 3:30PM sharp. Please come with me!"

    "Woah. You're that distressed that you're spewing random nonsense all of a sudden? The Bridgewater Palace? Plus-one? In two days?! I'll see."

    "Thanks. I'm hanging up. My noodles are ready!"

    "WOW. LEAVING ME FOR YOUR GIRLFRIEND, HUH?"

    "Yep!" I admitted.

    "WHATEVER, LOSER," she chimed.

    Of course, that day just had to come by quickly. I've been so busy with modeling and being a voice actor that I didn't even notice today until my assistant told me my schedule.

    "Ren, you have a dinner meeting today with Kimi Studio and the cast of Kiss Me Under the Moonlight at 3:30PM. You have approximately 4 hours until the meeting starts," Ms. Chang told me. "You have a plus-one date with Victoria Gomez."

    "Wait, she accepted?!"

    "Yes, I just received an email right now."

    I rubbed my forehead. All I was thinking of right now was the fact that I had to encounter Jaehyung again. It's been 6 years. He had to just come back into my life, huh?!

    "Call my hair and makeup stylist. You can take a break for the day. You're engaged, you're pregnant, you're tired. You can leave for the day," I said.

    Ms. Chang looked flushed. Her baby bump was barely showing. I glanced at her engagement ring. "Thank you, Ren. I'll tell Johnathon that you said this."

    "Tell him I said hi! Tell Mina I said hi too!"

    She nodded and smiled.

    My stylists came over and they looked really flushed. They had to have been doing something behind the scenes.

    "You called, Boss?" Willow muttered.

    "I told you to just call me Ren. We've been friends since college! Just because you're working for me doesn't mean anything!"

    "Fine, whatever. What's the style for today?" Ina asked me.

    I thought it over for a moment. "The theme is dinner date."

    Victoria came running up to me in her heels. It was outrageous that she could run in those tall things.

    "HOW DO I LOOK, DATE-FOR-THE-NIGHT?!" she yelled.

    "Oh my gosh. You're going to make me deaf. Was your boyfriend okay with you being my plus-one date?"

    Victoria smiled and looked down. "Yeah he was."

    "Oh my god, don't even tell me what happened after the call. Let's just go into the hall already."

    "You know you look nice like. You look like one of those KPOP idols! That hair style though. SO HANDSOME. Vance wears it all the time."

    "Vance is a KPOP idol. I'm not. I'm not even Korean, first of all," I scoffed.

    "Whatever."

    We both entered the hall, linking arms as we had to, to not look awkward. It was very uncomfortable and weird. We signed out names in at the reception desk and headed down a long hallway.

    "In here, Mr. Kobayashi," the receptionist said.

    "Thank you," Victoria said as nicely as she could.

    We walked arm in arm into the room. Barely anyone noticed us. The directors, cast, cameramen, script writers, everyone was here.

    "I see Jade and Ethan! Let's go meet our old friends!" Victoria exclaimed. Of course she just dragged me over there.

    We approached them as the people they were just talking to left to talk to more people.

    "Jade! How's motherhood!"

    Jade laughed. "It's been doing great actually. You should ask Ethan how fatherhood is. He's so overprotective."

    I glanced up at Jade and she gave me a stare that gave me the chills. "Are you sure you want to work with this movie?"

    Victoria was chattering with Ethan.

    "What do you mean?" I questioned.

    "I mean that Jaehyung's in this movie," she muttered.

    Now I know that she wasn't giving me the look. She was giving someone behind me the looks.

    "Ren Kobayashi?"

    Ah shit. He just had to notice me, huh?

"Ren Kobayashi? Is that you?"

    Oh damn. I wanted to sink away into the ground and not come back up again. I winced and started to slowly turn around. Yep. It was Jaehyung Han. GREAT.

    "Oh hi, Jaehyung," I said, forcing a smile. I smacked Jade's hand so she could lead me away from this. She clutched my hand and slowly dragged me along with her.

    "Hey, can we talk?" he muttered sadly. I looked up at him. He looked sincerely sad, but no. I can't do this again. Sorry, Jaehyung.

    I glanced back at my group of friends and shook my head. "Sorry. My friends are waiting." I walked faster to catch up with Ethan and Victoria. "Hey, is Erin here?"

    "Your sister? No, she texted me saying that she won't be able to make it. She didn't get such an important part, so she's pretty mad about that," Ethan stated.

    The music died down, catching everyone's attention. We hurried to our reserved seats and stared intently at the bright stage. A woman walked onstage. She had to be Amelia.

    "Welcome everyone! This is our opening celebration for the hit-novel, Kiss Me Under the Moonlight! Thank you to everyone that came. Unfortunately, we have a few absences, but that's fine! My name is Amelia Saucedo and I am the hose for tonight's party!" She glanced down at a piece of paper in her hand. "But first, let's please welcome, Kimmy Ryder-Kim as one of the stars of the show!"

    Applause erupted. I could see Lewis Kim, her husband, standing in the back, smiling with rejoice for his wife. He glanced over at me and waved to me! TO ME! I waved back! I turned back and damn my heart was beating so fast. A famous person like him actually waved to me!

    "Next up, please welcome Ren Kobayashi as the second star of the show, playing Noah Castillo!"

    I was so embarrassed as I walked up to the stage. I kept looking down at my feet and tugging at my suit. Amelia gestured for me to stand next to Kimmy. I was so embarrassed. I tried not to show it much.

    A hot voice whispered in my ear. "It's nice to be working with you. I heard your acting is superb!"

    I turned to look at Kimmy and she smiled.

    Stuttering, I said,"Th-thank you. It's just I'm so scared to be working with someone this famous. I'm afraid I might mess things up and change your reputation and all-"

    "It's fine. Pretty soon you're going to be the famous one. Once you star in this movie, trust me, you'll be way more famous than you are right now and get more and more requests to play in movies, ads, TV shows. Trust me. I've been through this more than once," she responded wisely.

    The room was quiet again as Amelia was flipping through the paper she had. "Next, we shall welcome the second roles of Noah Castillo and Megan Davis. First up, please welcome Jade Mendoza!"

    I watched Jade get up from her seat and climb the stairs to the opposite side of Amelia. She turned to look at me and waved. I turned back to scan the audience. Victoria and Ethan were all smiling and waving at us. I scanned the rest of the audience to see if I saw anyone I knew....and yep. Story logic, I see Jaehyung Han and he was looking straight at me. Yikes. The stare he was giving me could bore a million bullets into my body.

    "Next up, Jaehyung Han! You are the second role of Noah Castillo. Joshua Ackerman dropped out."

    I was shocked. He was shocked. Everyone was shocked. I thought he was here because he was a plus-one for Serina Lopez.

    He walked up the opposite side of stairs. I could see his eyes going down my body, making me shiver.

    "Are you okay?" Kimmy asked.

    I nodded and forced a smile. "Yeah. I'm okay. Don't worry about me..."

    We stood on the stage for a few more minutes as Amelia was talking about what would take place if something happened and such. I rushed down the stairs and ran back to my friends. Well, at least tried to.

    Just as I was leaving the short flight of stairs, someone grabbed my hand. I turned around and stared at them. "What do you want, Jaehyung?"

    "Ren, can we please just talk? It's important."

    I glared at him and he stared at me. "Go on. Make it quick. I don't have time to talk to you like this. I have people waiting."

    He ran a hand through his hair and gave a frustrated sigh. "Listen, what you think happened 6 years ago actually didn't happen-"

    "Ren! What are you doing here? Kimmy and Lewis invited us to sit at their private table!" Victoria squealed, distracting me from this conversation.

    Thank you, I mouthed. She winked at me and held my hand, dragging me away from the opposite direction of Jaehyung. Thank god.

    "What the **** was that all about, huh? Why are you talking with Jaehyung? Aren't you scared of what will happen if you get involved with him again?" Jade scolded.

    I sighed. "I know, but-"

    "There are no buts. I know you're working with him now, so you'll have to get along, but please. Don't be afraid to tell me what happens between you guys."

    "Yeah yeah. Whatever," I mutter.

    Throughout the night, all I could think about was Jaehyung. Whenever he caught me looking at him I always looked away, like I did during high school. Definitely brought back those happy memories... But when he's talking to other women, that bad memory comes back into my mind.

    My vision was so blurry after one hour. I slurred when I opened my mouth, I drank more, I had fun, but Jaehyung was the only thing on my mind.

    Ethan, the one person out of all my friends who was sober, told everyone to stop drinking. But when you're drunk and having the best time at your life at a party, do you think you can stop? That's right. Nope.

    "Ethan! Come dance with me!" Victoria slurred. "Rihanna's playing!"

    I squealed drunkenly at the name Rihanna and we stumbled our way onto the dance floor with other drunk people. We stole the spotlight as I took off part of my suit and threw it into the crowd. I saw Ethan in the distance, making out with Jade. I was surprised to see my sister there with Mikey. I went over to her and begged her to drink with me.

    "Oh come on! It's just one drink," I begged.

    She glared at me and glanced over at someone behind me. I turned around and greeted them with a big smile. "Oh hi, Jaehyung! Perfect timing! Let's go dance!"

    Jaehyung looked back at Erin and mouthed "Is he okay?"

    She responded with the shaking of her head and shouted to him to take care of me.

    Me and Jaehyung danced the night away. He was still so sober. I was definitely the opposite. I was grinding on him, touching his body, leaning toward his face...

    "Oh shit. What time is it?!" I exclaimed. I sat straight up in bed and turned to look for my phone. Holy shit. Jaehyung was laying in bed next to me, *****.
