"Huang Yingyue! Die!" The voice of Huang Yuyang rang in the air as she stabbed her own sister to death. Looking at what she's done, Yuyang stared at her hands in horror. In despair, she murdered herself. The servants of both later found Yuyang and Yingyue together, in their own puddles of blood.

Huang Yingyue gasped loudly. She looked around her carefully. She was supposed to be dead, now where the hell is she?

Yingyue stared at her current state. There were many cuts everywhere and she was only dressed in a flimsy cloth. Yingyue shivered. From the looks of it, she was in a forest, and winter just ended. She sat back down and scanned her memories to find out about the previous owner of this body.

"*Look at her! Doesn't she look just pathetic?" Huang Jian and Huang Qin laughed. Their mother, Concubine Lie, stared coldly at Huang Yingyue.

"Send her to the forest and make sure she never returns*."

Huang Yingyue sighed. From the looks of it, the previous owner of this body was weak and was constantly bullied by her own family members. Remembering something from her past life, Yingyue checked if the phoenix tattoo was still on her right thigh and her left arm. It was there, and it was very vivid. Standing up, Yingyue limped towards the edge of the forest. Before she could reach her destination, a maid serving Yingyue found her.

"Lady Yingyue!" Daiyu, her maid, exclaimed. With no hesitation, Daiyu assisted Yingyue in walking properly to the edge of the forest. Taking a quick break and setting Yingyue down on a tree, Daiyu breathed a quick sigh of relief. "Lady Yingyue, I thank the stars that I found you. The Dowager has been looking for you."

"She has?" Yingyue asked in surprise.

Daiyu nodded. "I had no idea what to say to her since I hadn't seen you since you went to Concubine Lie's Garden. Lady Yingyue, was Concubine Lie the reason why you are here and with cuts?"

Yingyue nodded solemnly. "I had entered her garden, and not long after, Huang Jian and Huang Qin started beating me up. Afterwards, Concubine Lie told servants to throw me here into the forest and to make sure to never return. I was lucky to have survived."

Daiyu's face was full of anger. "I knew I should have gone with you!"

Daiyu bowed down and kowtowed to Yingyue. "Lady, please forgive Daiyu. I promise that I will do better from now on."

"Daiyu, only you and Peizhi remained loyal to me although sisterd and concubines did not." Yingyue said, standing up and making Daiyu stand as well. "For that, I will be eternally grateful."

"I live only to serve you, my Lady." Daiyu said, smiling at Yingyue. "Let's go back to Huang Mansion now. The Dowager and the Lord has been holding search parties to look for you. They are very worried."

"How about Concubine Lie and her daughters?" Yingyue asked.

"They feign innocence, my Lady." Daiyu replied.

"Well, let's see if they can do that for long." Yingyue smirked.

'Worry not, Huang Yingyue. I shall make your life better. I shall avenge you.'

"Lord and Dowager! Lady Yingyue has returned!" a servant came rushing in the pavilion where Lord Huang Feng and Dowager Huang Yu were, both worried about Huang Yingyue. Upon hearing this piece of news, Yu and Feng stood up quickly and went to the gates to welcome Yingyue back.

Yu breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Yingyue safe. "My dear, we've been so worried about you! Where have you been?!"

"Thrown in a forest, Dowager Yu." Yingyue muttered bitterly. Her eyes met the Dowager's.

"Oh, enough of that Dowager nonsense. I've reminded you plenty of times to call me Grandmother." Yu said, waving her hands. When Yu released Yingyue, Feng took over and hugged his second daughter tightly.

When Feng released Yingyue, Yu checked her appearance. "My dear, you look starved. Come, let us eat."

"Grandmother, Father, I apologise for worrying you both." Yingyue bowed slightly to the both. Yu and Feng exchanged a glance.

"What's important is that you're here and you're safe, darling granddaughter." Yu smiled. Yingyue returned the smile lovingly. "Now, come on. Let us not make haste. A servant will come to help you get dressed."

A few minutes later and Yingyue was already dressed in a pale blue hand with white accents. Yingyue joined her grandmother and her father in the pavilion. She sat down quietly.

"Yingyue, we have something of importance to tell you." Feng said slowly.

"It has something to do with your marriage." Yu say bluntly.

Yingyue looked taken aback. She quickly regained composure. "If it is of importance, surely the whole family must be here?"

Her face was full of innocence, but her intentions were not. Truth be told, she just wanted to see Concubine Lie's expression when they saw that they had failed to kill her. Yu and Feng glanced at each other once more. Feng cleared his throat. "O-Of course. You," he said, pointing to a nearby servant. "Fetch Concubine Lie and her daughters."

"Yes, Lord Huang." the servants bowed and went to get Concubine Lie. The servant knocked tentatively in the concubine's pavilion. Concubine Lie's servant, Luo Wo, opened the door with a glare.

"What do you want? My ladyship is still resting." Luo Wo glared.

"Lord Huang has ordered me to fetch Concubine Lie and her daughters." the servant bowed.

Luo Wo huffed and went to alert Concubine Lie. When the Concubine awoke and learned of the situation, she smirked evilly. 'Huang Feng must have learned that his daughter is now dead. We will finally be the hostess of this mansion! I will finally rule the Huang family!'

Concubine Lie wasted no time in alerting her daughters of the happenings. "Quick! Lord Huang is calling us! Must be to tell us that I am finally Legal Wife, and you are finally Wife's Daughters!"

Huang Jian and Qin rushed to get dressed and nearly ran all the way to their grandmother's pavilion. When they entered, they were surprised to see Huang Yingyue looking at them, a smug smirk settled on their face. Concubine Lie stumbled back. "Yingyue? How are you a-alive?!"

Yingyue jumped at the opportunity to humiliate the Concubine and her daughters. "Why are you surprised to see me, Concubine Lie? I have hardly been gone for - what - 3 weeks?"

"A whole month, dear." Yu corrected her granddaughter. Feng glared at Concubine Lie.

"Do you have something to do with my daughter going missing, Lie?" Feng narrowed his eyes at the Concubine.

"Father, that is absolutely absurd." Huang Qin laughed nervously. "Why would we have anything to do with Huang Yingyue going missing?"

Yingyue cleared her throat. "Father, I believe you have something of importance to announce to us?"

"Oh, yes, well," Feng said, composing himself. "The Crown Prince has taken an interest to one of you lately. And upon the edict of the Emperor, he is to marry a daughter of mine. I already have selected a daughter, and that daughter is -"

"Is me!" Huang Jian yelled, smiling happily. "Oh, and then I'll be the Crown Princess and then the Empress, and then I'll step on -"

"You are mistaken, Jian." Feng glared at his daughter for interrupting him. "The Crown Prince is to marry Huang Yingyue."

"What?!" Concubine Lie yelled. She stood up abruptly and pointed to Yingyue. "Huang Yingyue is not even capable of performing magic! She is weak!"

Yingyue stood up in anger as well. "I - am - not - WEAK!"

White butterflies, otherwise known as magic power, flew around Yingyue. In this world, the color of the butterflies told how powerful you were. White, the purest color of all, is the most powerful color. Only the Crown Prince is rumored to have it. The people in the pavilion stumbled back from the power of butterflies. Concubine Lie refused to stand down. This time, her own pale green butterflies surrounded her.

Feng's eye twitched. "That is enough!"

Black butterflies surrounded Huang Feng, and a look of authority was placed on his face. He slapped Yingyue. "Do not talk back to your elders like that!"

Yingyue grasped her stinging cheek. Glaring at her father with tears in her eyes, she yelled, "How dare you?! I am your daughter, yet you treat me like this?!"

"Learn some respect, Yingyue!" Feng yelled. Huang Jing smirked as she saw her sister getting beat up by her father. She silently high-fived Huang Qin behind her back.

Yingyue huffed. "The only reason why I am not going to leave this family is because of my grandmother. If not for her, I would make sure that all of you fall to your knees and apologize to me."

"Why you -!" Feng grit his teeth in anger and raised his hand to hit Yingyue once more.

Yingyue glared at her father. "Sometimes I wonder what Mother saw in you that made her want to marry you. You disgust me."

Yu grabbed her granddaughter's hand and smiled at her slightly. Meanwhile, Concubine Lie was surprised at what she just saw. 'Was that really Huang Yingyue?'

Yingyue sent one last glare at Concubine Lie before stalking out of the pavilion and returning to her own. She sat down on her bed and sighed slightly. "Peizhi, get me a copy of all bank transactions that was made during my absence. Daiyu, update me on what happened while I was gone. Father seemed to have changed."

"Yes, my lady." Daiyu and Peizhi bowed. Peizhi immediately went to work and went to get a copy of all bank transactions made from the accountant of the Huang family.

Daiyu, in the meantime, told Yingyue, "When you went missing, my lady, Concubine Lie somehow got hold of all the shops that the Huang family owned. Including the auction house and the herbal shop. She is now in charge of all transactions made in accordance to these shops. She somehow got Huang Feng wrapped around her finger. Jian and Qin have been mocking you. They are also in charge of all the money in your bank account, my lady."

"WHAT?!" Yingyue exclaimed. Her hand started shaking in anger. Peizhi returned with a scroll in her hand.

"My lady, this is all the transactions made during your absence." Peizhi said, giving the scroll to Yingyue. Yingyue too the scroll and read through it. By the time she was finished, she was shaking in anger.

"Daiyu, Peizhi," Yingyue said, looking up at the two servants. "Prepare a carriage to the nearest shop. It's time to correct everything they did wrong."

"Huang Family, you messed with the wrong person."
