Why do I always end up being chase?

I bump at the man walking towards me and his face landed on the ground "Ooh....Sorry" I said running again.

I hide on the ally as I catch my breath. I heard the guards passed by and when I'm sure their gone I walk casually with any normal people here in the street.

I take a deep breath admiring the beautiful sunny sky. No matter what world it is......the sky is the same as I remember. I peak at my pocket to see the necklace I stole from a weathy cubby lady earlier.

"Ada! Ada!"

I search to the person who's looking for me, there I saw her waving to me, I rise my hand before giving her a small smile. Here she go again.

"So....did you get caught?"

I looked at her rising one of my brows, "Seriously? If I get caught do you think I'm standing here in front of you? Jesus.... Rose" I said shaking my head then I suddenly felt pain on the back of my neck. "that's hurts!" I annoyingly said.

"I'm just worried for you dumbass! why do need those money anyway" I rolled my eyes, walking to Armory Shop her family owns.

"Sup! Adallane?"

"Goodafter noon Mr. Burnish" I greeted, he smile before frowning at his daughter rapping. "Rose will you stop your mouth." he annoyingly said making me to laugh.

"What are you laughing at! And you I'am your daughter! REAL daughter! Why are you backing her huh?" Rose shouted , I covered my eyes and made my escape from the upcoming war.

I sighed when I saw the beautiful city up here in my room balcony. "Its been a year......" I mouthed before closing my eyes , trying to reminiscing my past life.

My real name is Zeena Hilonus, I'm 20 years old a HRM student at a public university. I'm not that smart but not too stupid either, sometimes I'm a bit rude and selfish but I can say that I been a good person.

I didn't died in a painful death or because of truck-kun.....I died sleeping comfortably and didn't wake up. I still remember when my Mom slap me hard to wake me up but didn't work.....that is the first time I saw my tough and strong mother cried her heart out. Even so....I don't have any grudges or something I want to go back too......honestly all my life there is something I don't feel like doing.

I always played the rule of good obedient daughter....the hardworking student.....actually I wanted to feel what is like to be a bad student how I feel like to be punched and to be a lazy student who doesn't do her homeworks.....but since I don't want to cause any trouble for my parents I never really feel how to live my youth.

I want to travel the world, meet some good and bad people who will teach me to become someone great like my father but sadly I died before I get to go to the good part hehe.

Miracle happen and I live again in this body.....her name is Adallane Calistro a poor young lady to was about to die when Rose and Mr. Burnish save her and becomes a saleslady here in their shop. Their a good people but of course since I got reborn? reincarnated? well whatever! here.....I realized that I was living in a fantansy world made only for two main characters.

Let me introduce this world shall we?

This world is called AGARCIAN a country full of mages and magical creatures! of course if there's a country there's a kingdom. The Kingdom of Reon, The Prince and the male lead of this novel is known to be a tyrant and violent which is I see for myself a year ago is Prince Royce Lance Reon. Honestly I don't want to cross path with that pyschopath....moving on.

Then you meet Rose Burnish right? well this girl is actually nice believe me but for some reason she really like to bully the girl name Althea Summers that I learned! to be the female lead of this novel but first things first!

I didn't bully her nor help her just.....watch her from afar , I know! I'm horrible but I want to live my life this time! I don't wanna be drag for some romance story of other people. Plus I have enough money to get away from this place before that tyrant prince claim the throne....but since my salary is small as ant I need to....ya'know do some....part time jobs.

Earning money in a good way is noble I know but since I want to be a little careless and free I tried stealing who would thought its fun! really fun! Haha!

"Hey! Dinner is ready"

I turned to see Rose and nodded at her, she smirks before throwing my door. "Such a tsundere..." I laughed in my own thought.

"I heard you've been chase by the guards of the duchess.....so what do you wanna say for yourself..." Mr. Burnish said I coughed putting my utensils down before answering him, I even see Rose rolling her eyes at me.

"W-well....I almost caught but I'm too smart for them to handle and besides that duchess is wealthly because of those children she sell on the black market....so I'm not the bad guy here" I said before lowering my head.

I felt his hand on my shoulder, I looked at him "What you did is wrong Adallane but....you're not entirely wrong either. I just don't want you to get hurt because of your carelessness.....Rose is also worried at you..." He said I glance at Rose who's eating with her chin up, I giggled.

"Well....I guess I can take a break from stealing tomorrow....and help someone with her chores tomorrow..... and maybe buy some strawberry cake on the near bake shop..." I said while looking at Rose and a smile broke on her lips, but she immediately make her signature attitude face and arms crossed in her chest.

"Well I guess...She can take a break after some morning chores IF it is free!" She said while rising her right brow at me. I looked at Mr. Burnish but he is busy munching on his food. I sighed.

"Well.....Who doesn't want free things right? You win you money crab" I teasingly said her jaw dropped on what I said.

"Money Crab! How dare you! Father look at this witch calling me!" She shouted and looked to her father who's listening to no one. I laughed and she yell again and again.

"My wallet....." I cried while looking at my penny less wallet I glare at Rose who's enjoying herself while eating a very expensive PIECE OF CAKE! JUST A FREAKING PIECE COST THAT MUCH!

"I hate you" I said whild glaring at her, "The feeling is mutual" She said proudly I scoffs at her when my eyes landed at a beautiful young lady with long wavy blond hair. Althea.

Rose looked at where Ada's looking dropping the spoon rather noisy, Ada looked at her weirded at her sudden disdain. "Did I anger you or something?" Ada asked before munching on her cake.

"That girl what is she doing here, she's doesn't even have a penny to be here" Rose annoyed said, I rise my shoulder "Even you doesn't have a penny too" I mumbled when she suddenly glare at me. I cleared my throat before placing my spoon....

I looked at Althea....actually Rose is right how did she manage to enter in this luxurious bake shop, well as for me and Rose I have money to afford this kind of luxurious cakes besides I'm making up with this lioness here so even if I don't want too I have no choice.

Wait? did the plot takes place? Its starting! Thats impossible because the first scene I remember is when the Prince chase the MoonRose Slavery Store somewhere in the woods. I remember that Althea is once of those misfortune ladies been captured to sell to the other countries but did she get kidnapped again?

Jeez my memories is all messed up I don't remember!

"Were leaving"

"Say what?" I asked her but she just bit her lower lip, I turned to look where Althea is and see a familiar face. "I said Lets go" Rose said and drag me away from the shop while walking at the street I noticed that she was annoyed.

I never asked her why'd she so annoyed at Althea I mean, She's a nice girl I think? And she always smiles at Rose even if she's always rude to her. The real Adallane never asked why she's always rude to Althea nor never want to be trouble by it. I heard from Mr. Burnish that Rose and Althea becomes friends once but one day Rose shut Althea away. Maybe....maybe because of that guy.

I look at Althea and the guy beside walking to the streets like us, I guess their date is over too. I glance at Rose who just stopped walking and staring at Althea and that guy.

"You like him do you?"

Rose was bewildered at my words and try to find the words to argue at me but I just smile at her. Her reaction calm before rolling her eyes at me.

"Damn you....I can never lie to you do I?" she said and I can see tears almost fall. I nodded at her statement before dragging her in the fountain in the middle of the streets.

"Seriously?" She asked before looking at the passing people I nodded. She give a looked before shaking her head. "I don't wanna talk about it....but your right I do like him.....but he like someone else" Rose sadly said I stared at her and I can see that she's really lonely and hurt.

I sighed before punching her shoulder lightly. "What's that for huh!" she roared I smiled at her

"I know what you need! a tasty barbeque on Mrs. Karmen store right!" I said she hesitated before nodding, "Yeah....I do want to eat some barbeque" She said as a small smile creep in her lips.

"Then wait me here, I'll be back just quick okay!"

I run leaving Rose there, She may be a lioness but deep inside she is just a cute small kitten that needed to be cared. I'ved been a really bad older sister before.....I don't want to make same mistakes again beside I love that girl even if she's loud and scary.

A hand grabbed me into the dark alley I tried to fight back but a weird smell makes me dizzy and fell asleep.

'I guess that Rose will be super angry with me when I get back...'

I heard some muffled whimpers beside me but I'm not sure if I heard it right, by the way? Why is someone crying?

My eyes went wide open when I remembered I been kidnap!..... Judging in my surrounding...where all girls? In a metal cell and a dirty floor chains hitting the floor. I sighed

'I'm so doomed'

A man showed up holding a girl with a wored out floral dress that is very familiar with me, he throw the girl to the cell and the girl begged to let her out.

My jaw dropped when she turned to us and stuck her eyes on me. "Adallane!" She said before throwing herself to me "O-oh....h-hey? I guess?" I said awkwardly.

Why is she here?

Wait? Wait........What The Hell!

Oh no! The plot started! But why am I here?! I'm not supposed to be here!.....it was.....Rose, Wait a sec Rose is supposed to be with Althea and at the middle of captivation they will understand each other and give forgiveness and be friends again! but why am I here? instead of Rose.....

"Ughh this is messed up" I mumbled when I feel Althea trembling in my arms. "I'm scared" She said, awkwardly I caressed her back trying to calm her down.

"Everything will be fine....Don't worry" I said giving her a small smile. She stared at me before smiling and I swear to my past life grave....I saw flowers blooming beside her.

She let go of me before nodding to me "I always know you're a nice person Adallane"

I frown 'How did she know my name? Well it doesn't matter, the real question is how long will it take for him to find her?'

"We only manage to get one outstanding beauty here, but some is close to you can say good"

I heard some men said making me frown and scoffed. Okay fine....sure she is ridiculously beautiful but really? Saying it in the place we can hear? At least walk away you dumbass!

"Your calm..."

I glance at her 'What should I say?'

"Erm....I know someone will save us....I guess?" I awkwardly said, She tilted her head confused on how certain I'am but I can't just say....'Ya'know? Your hubby is coming to save you so no need to worry!' definitely no.

"You seem so sure about that...." She said before lowering her , I don't know much about how her life story go since I don't remember much about the novel where I'am now. It's been a year before I die I read this novel you can't blame my memories since its not just one novel I read my whole life my memories mixing up all the novels I read in the past.....just damn. I was cut in my rain of thoughts when she speak again.

"I'm scared of dark places" She said before hugging her knee. I looked at the window watching the full moon, glancing at this young womans with us. She is not the only one who's scared everybody is but she's the only one been comforted by them. I sighed "Life is unfair no matter what world it is huh?" I scoffs, closing my eyes.

”Why would I like that girl? Even if she hides her feelings its so obvious....did you see how happy she is when I gave her my old handkerchief? Its ridiculous!"

I looked at the old handkerchief in my hands, I sighed before shaking my head in disbelief. '

Why are you so happy in someone trash?'

I looked at myself in the mirror, I'm not beautiful but I'm not that ugly? why can't I like someone because I'm not beautiful? what a bullshit! I hate you for making me looked stupid.

"For you!" He said while giving a bundles of red roses to Selene my beautiful classmate. Selene smile before taking the flowers "T-thanks" She said shyly.

Face doesn't matter? don't fooled yourselves.....only the good looking ones can have special treatments. Noone will agree because all of them.....is a liar.

I open my eyes and comb my hair "Tsk....that dream is annoying" I mumbled when I hear a explosion as the earth trembles.

'He's here'

I felt someone tugged my sleeves looking at it was Althea with a worried looked on her face. "Were saved...." I said smiling at her, she nod and hopeful at the sametime.

We saw man running away the explosion and smoke blinded me, a black flame show following the man earlier.... from afar we heard footsteps on the smoke a figure of a man slowly revealed. I looked at Althea who is staring at him.

Golden Shining hair, sharp cold purple eyes. Well defined manly face sharp nose bridge. He is the most handsome guy in this world. Prince Royce Lance Reon The pyschopath.

He punch the metal cage like nothing, I close my eyes because of the impact when I open my eyes I saw him looking at me.....then looking at the girl behind me. Althea

"Stand up." He said I don't know if it is me or her but I'm happy to leave this place actually. So I stood up, he look at me so I bowed to show my respect and he just glared at me before shifting to Althea.

"Are you standing up or you want to stay here" He coldly said to her like the speed of lightning Althea stood up. I help the other girls to get up and try to comfort them too, some knights interview me how did I get kidnap and I told them what happen after that I head home and receive some good long monologued from Rose.

"But seriously......I never met someone so handsome in my pastlife and now" I mumbled when Royce image plays in my mind again. I frown when I remember what he did to his people way back in the novel. "Such a waste he's crazy" I shake my head before throwing my body to my warm and cozy bed.

"Just.....What the hell happen..earlier anyway I hope this won't be a problem in the future" I said playing back what happen earlier. .

I wear my red mask and tied my hair up into a messy bun before using my window to escape. Well since I been kidnapped Mr. Burnish don't let me go outside. I can't understand his logic but I can't just stay here and do nothing, I'm trying to live my life here by doing things I love.

I stopped looking at man with a black coat and golden linings, he's walking infront of me, put my hood on and walk to him, I lowered my head and walk passed him. He seems good looking judging from his nose and lips, he must be a merchant or someone powerfull but who cares? I looked at my left hand before smiling.

I sighed before humming softly "This is a big catch isn't it" I said happily while playing at the black pouch I stole from him.

"Good morning Mr. Well can I borrow Sebastian for a sec?" I asked while looking at Mr. Well. "Oh

...Ada its you, your taking Sebastian?" he asked weakly I nodded before taking Sebastian out from the stable leaving some penny on his space near Mr. Well.

I mounted at Sebastian, "Yah!" Sebastian run to the forest when we where near in the tall old tree carefully I tilted to get my weapon behind those bushes. "Gotcha" I said going back in my position, I worn the strap before pulling the string of the bow and aimmed the target. I took a deep breath and let go of the arrow, every time I hold my bow.....I feel me.

"Wooohoo! faster Sebastian!" I yelled while laughing when the arrow hits the target.

I looked at the lake and draw on my notes again finishing the final touches, I layed on the grass squinting my eyes when the sun rays slightly dazzled me. I close my eyes and feel the warm breeze of summer hitting my skin, when a shadow blocked the sun ray. I open my eyes and I was being stared by a man I stoled earlier.

"Shocked?"

I immediately stand up and try to find my weapon when he showed in to me. I scoffs and glared at him. "How'd you find me" I asked he smiled but I can't see his face clearly, I blink and then suddenly he's beside me making me jump in suprise. "How did you....." I asked confused

"Lets not talk about it hmm....the most important thing is....how you gonna pay me from stealing this" he said and on his right hand is the black pouch. I closed my eyes before bitting my lower lip.

I didn't even feel that he took both my bow and that pouch, he is dangerous 'I pick the wrong pocket this time' Rose is correct this time hays.

"Stop biting your lips it will bleed" he said switching his place from my right to left, 'Is he a ghost?'

"What do you want....I'm just a thief I don't value much ya'know" I said stating the facts. He shake his head "No you're not, your the key for his demised" He said.

I rise my brow "He?" I asked , I took a step back when he 's face is close to me. I can see his cobalt blue eyes and some features of his face he seems familiar for some reason.

"Listen Adallane, I need you to do something for me....in exchange I can help you to get what you want" he said I stared at him.

'He knows me? He said I stole something from him but the way he's speaking with me is like.....he plan this all along. Like he knows who I am but who is 'he' his talking about? What should I do? If I declined him will he....kill me?'

I close my eyes. 'Damn'

"I'll get what I want and you get what you want right?" I said, He smirks 'This guy will kill me if I don't play along'

"So what is the deal" I said

I yanked my hair in frustration.

"Gah! You idiot! Adallane your an idiot!" I said before letting my body to fall in my bed. I laugh without humor....."I'm dommed"

"Enter the palace and be the Crown Princess maid"

"But she doesn't have the title yet" I mumbled "I'm so dommed" I whimpered.

When the sun showed up the news about Althea being the lost daughter of the Matriarch shocked the whole town, and now.

" My daughter liked you Ms. Adallane to be her personal maid, she's still not used to be a noble and you're the first girl friend she had so.....I'm asking you humbly can you grant this selfish father wish of mine Ms. Adallane Calistro" The Matriarch Lincoln said to me.

Mr. Burnish is stun and Rose mouth is agaped. I smile nervously 'Isn't so much to be coincidence? Ha!'

I bowed "I will accept this opportunity to serve your family with much joy in my heart Sir" I said lowering my head to him. 'I don't want it nor happy for it, but the guy with the black coat is threating something I learned to treasure in this life, I looked at Mr. Burnish who is obviously not happy and Rose who's looking at me confused.

"I will send a carriage tomorrow morning for you Ms. Adallane thank you for accepting my request" He said I just smile at him 'Actually you didn't give me a choice to refuse by showing yourself here'

I bowed to him watching his carriage gone to my eyes sight before looking at them. "How she becomes your friend! You two not even talking to each other!" Rose yelled. Actually Rose this situation I'm in right now.....is supposed to be yours.

You will be the spy that will betray Althea in the future and died in a very tragic death with your father.....and.....somehow happy to know that I'm taking your place, your a nice girl and you have a good man as your father something that I didn't have in the past. So I won't let you end up with those deaths, even if I died at least I was able to do the things I love....too bad its to short for me to enjoy but still...

"If your mind is made up. I'll support you Adallane" Mr. Burnish said I smiled at him and Rose shake her head in disbelief and runaway.

I sighed. "Don't worry I'll talk to her." he said and followed Rose.

"Did I.....nah I'm going to save them so its okay" I said to myself.

"So what is the deal" The woman with pure white hair said to him. He always knew this girl Adallane Calistro a girl showed up in the town 10 years ago without anyone to guide her, she's have a very rare white hair. He always knew something is off about this girl whole being.

She's good at everything, and a good pawn to used to take him down. Faith is even in his side who would thought that Adallane will be the first friend of that woman? And who would thought that he will fall in love with her in first sight? Everything is perfect.

He smiled at Her creeping her slightly. "I want you to be my spy to Royce Lance Reon by staying by side of his beloved girl Althea Summers or should I say Althea Lincoln. Do that and I reward you handsomely" He said but the girl scoffs.

"I don't need your money" she said but she's hesitating, he grin she doesn't want to die but can't let him down either. What will do in this situation Adallane?

"Okay then I will send Rose instead since she has been really angry at Althea she will take this job without second thoughts, but since she's clumsy and easily derived with her emotions what will happen to her if she get caught? Oh.....her poor father." He's grin grow larger when he saw the trembling hands of Adallane because of what he's saying.

She looked at him and he was stunned when he saw a beautiful golden eyes glints from the girls eyes but when he blinked it turned back into gray.

"I'll do it" She said, He smiled grab her hand to put a curse. Adallane grunts when she felt pain in her right hand, she looked the black coated man.

"What that's for"

"To keep you under control, if you try to do anything funny that curse will kill you on the spot. So don't betray me okay" he said, she just stared at him

He was about to walk away when Adallane called him.

"Black coated man, I want to live longer so....if I finished this mission.....pledge that you will set me free and I want to see it myself"

He turned and looked at her, she is full of seriousness he didn't answer her instead just walked away from her.

"Adallane.....I didn't know you're somehow interesting" He uttered.

"Well I guess this is goodbye for now" Adallane said smiling at Mr. Burnish "Hmmmm.....Rose didn't want to send you off sorry" he said I nod

"its okay....I just wanted to say sorry to her that I can't explain to her what happen but I hope she'll understand me for now" Ada said

Burnish hugged Adallane was stun at the sudden hug but awkwardly hugged him too. "We will miss you" Burnish said to his unrelated second daughter.

She gave him a smile before turning to enter the carriage. "See you soon....Father" it was a whisper but enough to make Burnish hear.

He watched the carriage go until his eyes can't see it before letting his tears falls.

"She finally called me father really that girl" Burnish said before wiping his tears.
