Today, I am heading to uncle Jim's lab to see his experiment results, but he is not answering the phone. I have tried calling him since 4pm, now he is still not answering. Uncle is very weird today, he said I should come and check his results as soon as possible. He said I should call him first before I go inside his lab, but he is not even answering. I'll just call him one last time and go into the lab if he is still not answering.

"Uncle ? Are you there ? I have call-- ahhhhhhhh!!!!! UNCLEEE!!! UNCLE!!! UNCLE JIM !! "

Uncle Jim was lying on the the floor unconsciously, his uniform was covered in blood. I quickly called the ambulance, they came after 8 minutes, since the hospital is very near by.

I was in shock, I called my aunt, uncle's wife, she came immediately after I called. I suddenly start crying, I was afraid of losing another family member.

I losed my parents 5 years ago, they died because of an unknown disease. They were top doctors when they were alive, they had many experience and they discovered many cure to rare diseases, but they died because of a mysterious disease. Their death brought me a lot of pain. I was very very depressed back then, and told myself that I will protect uncle, aunt and cherry, their daughter from now on. Since, they are the only family I have left, and I don't want the same thing that happened to mom and dad to happen again. But, look what happen today. I can't protect anyone .

After the ambulance arrived at the hospital

Our private doctor, Brian Tim, and another female doctor came running towards the ambulance as the ambulance stop infront of the hospital. Aunt and I step aside as the doctors take uncle out of the ambulances. Uncle Jim was sent to the emergency room. Aunt and I sat and waited outside the room, as Cherry came running towards us in her school uniform.

" Mama, sister!!! How is papa ? " She shouted.

Aunt didn't answer and sat there crying. My mind was too messy to find a proper answer.

Then, two police officers came, one of them is my neighbor, his name is Johnson Lee. Johnson asked us a few questions about what happened. He tried to calm us down, but nothing works, aunt cried even more.

After waiting for an hour, Mr.Brian came out of the room, he shook his head and signed. He said that uncle is in a very mysterious condition just like what happened to my parents, he looks like he is murdered but on the other hand there is no wounds or signs of any injections.

I sat there covering my face, begging for God to save uncle. After hearing what Mr.Brian said, aunt fainted.

Aunt was transferred to another room, and uncle was also sent to another room which is next to aunt's. Cherry didn't talk much, she sobbed and sobbed. Cherry is only 14, all I could do was comfort her, I am very useless in these type of situation.

I stayed in aunt's room that night, and cherry stayed in uncle's room.

Around 2 am, aunt woke up, the doctor said she needs to rest for a bit more before checking out. I didn't want to go to study, but aunt persuade me again and again. So I went back home to take a shower and prepare meals and get ready to go to study. On my way to school, I dropped by uncle's lab, the front door to the building was wrapped with tapes that say " DO NOT ENTER ".

Uncle bought this building from my parents after my parent died, the building has three floors and an underground floor which uncle use to store equipment for surgery or medicine and other medical equipment. Uncle use to work alongside my parents, so he has a lot of experience in this researching field, so he research a lot. On the first floor and the ground floor uncle opens a pharmacy which opens from 7:30 am to 10:30pm. On the second floor, uncle use it for doing researches and experiment as for the third floor, he kept it for me, so that I could come here every time I need to relieve some stress or when I stay out too late . Uncle's research medicine too, the medicine uncle research are mostly sent to the national hospital for use.

I come here everyday, this place is quiet and nice. Today, I just want to check the lab again, to see if there is any clue on the scene. It is 7:00 am now, the lecture start at 8:30 and I need to go to the hospital to drop the meals by 8:00, so, I have an hour left. I open my phone and set a timer to remind myself in case I lose track of time.

I walked towards the door, a police officer was sitting on the bench near the building.

" HEY!!! young lady!!! You are not allow to go inside, there is a " DO NOT ENTER " tape there, so please step back!"

" I am the building's owner niece and I am here to get something, you can call Johnson Lee and check things with him, he knows me."

" Hmm.....Please wait a moment, I'll check with Johnson "

I waited for 5 minutes as the police officer and Jonhnson talk on the phone. The police officer said goodbye to Johnson, then looked at me and nodded his head showing a sign of agreement and said " You can go in " I thanks him, and went inside the building, it was very quiet, the pharmacy staffs are usually here, but today they had to stay at home, since the building needs to be kept for investigation for a while.

I went upstairs and to the lab. I opened the door to the lab. CREAK

Strange, I thought, I remember uncle clothes was cover by a lot of blood, but I couldn't find any sharp equipment on the desk that could harm him. There was about 10 flask on the desk, some books next to it, and a fire starter. On another desk, there was some bottle of chemical elements and some equipment and a jar.

There was also two shelf in the room; one with books, documents and forlders which uncle use for recording his experiments results and things he found, and the other shelf is for chemical equipment use in experiment and stuff and of course uncle's experiment results was also placed on the shelf.

I was confused. What the heck happened yesterday ?

I was too confused, so I start finding out what exactly was uncle trying to research yesterday. I suddenly felt the need of going through every book, document and folders on uncle's shelf.

I took out a folder that caught my eyes, it was placed at the bottom right of the shelf, as I took it out a paper accidentally slipped and fall to the ground. I pick it up and that paper made chills ran down my back.

There was two photos attached to the paper, one was a photo of two people laying in two beds next to each other, both of them was covered in rash and blood. Their skins look like it has been burned. They look just like, just like .... ! just like ...........

ZOMBIES !!!!!

Another photo was a picture of a letter that was spattered with blood, but could still be visible. I read the letter in my head. It says :

George, the government have stole the virus. He force some nurse to inject the virus into our body a few month before he stole it. It start to show effect of a deadly virus and that is why we secretly add some ethanol acid into the remaining. He took 100 ml of the virus, it can be inject into 50 people. It will not cause any effect, at first but it will after 5 years of living in the human body.*

Please take care of our daughter, and find a cure to this virus as soon as possible. I know it might not be possible, but I have left a lot of reports about this virus in details. You can find it in our safe lock which is in our secret room, the passcode is 2007. Try contacting Tyler Su, if the virus have gone uncontrollable. He know about this dangerous virus and he will help you, in some case you need any equipment or weapon. Contact him with the contact info I kept in the safe lock. It will start spreading after the virus start taking effect. It is a deadly virus, please be cakeful not to get inject by George's doctors. *

I stopped there for a second and a memories from 3 three years ago came to my mind.

" Gina ? "

" Yes, uncle Jim ? "

" Have you heard of zombies? what if zombies appears tomorrow what would you do? "

" Zombies???!! Are those creatures even real? But..... If they were to appear tomorrow.... I'll crush them!!!!!"

" Can you really do it ?"

" No, I don't think so..... I am not sure... "

" So, Gina.... If zombies were to appear somedays, listen to whatever I tell you to do. Just listen and do what you are told and start being independent too, ok ?"

" I am going to be fine, you don't have to worry "

" SO..... they do exist " I said quietly

After sitting there staring at the paper for about five minutes, I came back to my sense.

So, mom and dad was killed because of this deadly virus.

I stood up and told myself that I will do whatever it takes to find the cure and get to the bottom of Mr.George crimes.

I took my phone out of my pocket and check the time, I still have 30 minutes more before the timer ends. I quickly put the paper back in the folder.

I left the lab wrapping the folder in both of my arms, The police officer did not suspect anything, I said goodbye and drove my car towards the hospital.
