I was walking down the hallway, trying to figure out where this stupid map is taking me.

Yeah, it's my first day.

I walked straight and bumped right into a wall. I winced and rubbed my forehead with my fingers.

"Ow!" I whined and I heard the wall chuckle.

Wait, since when did walls started laughing? That too, at me?

I looked up, meeting a pair of deep blue eyes. I quickly moved away, seeing it's a guy.

"Sorry." I muttered and tried to walk past him but he blocked my way with his figure, making me bump into his wall like chest again.

"Newbie?" He asked and trust me, his voice was so deep that stirred something inside of me.

"You can say that. Now, if you'll just excuse me...?" I said, trying to move past him again. But he blocked my way again.

God, what is wrong with him?

"Wait. Let me show you to your class." He said, making me surprised. I looked up at him, unsure but still gave him my schedule. He looked at it and smirked.

"You have English first, but Mr David isn't in the school today, so you have an off period." He said and smiled in the end.

"Oh. Thank you." I smiled genuinely at him. There was a quite awkward silence between us as none of us spoke and moved. Thankfully, the silence was broke by him clearing his throat.

"I'm Felix." He said, stretching his hand for me to shake. I placed my tiny hand in his big one and shook it.

"Alexa." Then, I tried to take my hand back, but he won't let go. "Um..." I said, pointing at our hands. He smirked and pulled me towards him in a jerk, our noses touching and I blushed hard. He was staring deep in my eyes.

"I'll see you around, Alexa." He whispered, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. He then kissed my back of hand, sending sparks everywhere and twirled me before letting go and walking away.

I blushed even harder looking at my hand, asking myself a very stupid question.

What the **** just happened?!

Right now, I was sitting in the library for lunch. Just then, the door opened with a bang and the librarian scowled at the person coming in.

My eyes finally landed on that person, and it was none other than the guy I had bumped into the hallway, Felix.

Relief washed over him as soon as his eyes landed on me. He walked over to me and stood in front my desk.

"Oh, Cupcake. You had me worried." He breathed out. I raised my eyebrow.

"Worried?"

"Yeah. Come on, let's have lunch in the cafe together." He said. I shook my head.

"No. I want to sit here." I argued. He thought for a while and then nodded.

And the very next second, he was right beside me. I frowned.

"I want to sit here. Alone." I narrowed my eyes on him. He chuckled.

"Not happening." He draped his arm around my shoulder. Before I had a chance to say something, the bell rang. I groaned and packed my stuff before getting out of the library.

I heard footsteps trailing behind me. I turned and saw Felix still walking behind me. He smirked when his gaze caught mine. I rolled my eyes.

When I was walking down the hallway, it was full of people. Students, I mean.

There was a group of boys, all dressed in black jacket. They stared at me, up and down and smirked, licking their lips, giving me creepy looks. But they then immediately averted their gaze when they saw something behind me. I turned and saw Felix was still there.

Somehow, it made me feel a little safe.

But I also didn't miss how the girls were checking him out shamelessly.

When I reached my class, I turned and faced him. He smiled and chuckled.

"I'll see you around, Muffin." He left.

After school, when I was walking out of the building, I saw the group of guys that I had seen earlier, staring at me.

Ignoring them, I started walking out. Soon, one of them came towards me, smirking creepily. As he opened his mouth to say something, got interrupted by Felix appearing out of nowhere.

"Back off already, Jackson. Don't you even think about it." He warned him.

What is he talking about?

"What are you now? Her boyfriend?" Jackson said with a roll of his eyes.

"Maybe I am. That's none of your business." Felix said. Jackson rolled his eyes again and left. I frowned towards Felix.

"Who is he?" I asked him. He scoffed.

"Trust me, you don't wanna know. Don't you have a home to go to?" He said in an arrogant voice.

I don't like people talking to me in a bad way or even yelling at me.

Mom says I'm pretty emotional while my grandma says I'm weak.

And I know I'm weak.

"I do." I whispered and walked towards my house. I felt for a second that I saw a glint of regret on his face but it turned into blank immediately.

... Alexa's POV...

I walked down the road, until a black coloured car blocked my way.

Is that a kidnapper?

Feeling scared, I turned around to go from the other way but stopped when I heard the voice.

"Hey Cupcake!" I sighed in relief and turned to see Felix yelling for me from his car. He hopped out of it and stood there, leaning against it.

I walked towards him angrily and punched him in his chest. I know he didn't feel anything but my knuckles are hurting. Trying not to show my pain, I kept the angry look and glared at him.

"You scared me!" I stated. He chuckled and I felt weak in my knees.

Am I sick? Why do I feel like this?

"Scared? Of me?" He asked in surprise. I opened my mouth to answer him but then remembered I had to go home.

"You know what? I have much more better things to do than to stand here in middle of the road and talk to you. Bye." I walked past him but he held my arm.

"If you want we can go and talk in a cafe then." He smirked. "And what are the better things you're gonna do?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Going home." I stated.

"Let me drop you." His words made all of the thoughts in my head, stop.

"But it's just a few blocks away." I stated. Without listening to anything, he pulled me by hand and opened the passenger side door for me.

"Sit." I shook my head. "Get in already, or I'll pick you up and throw you in myself." He said and knew he wasn't lying.

So, I got in. He closed the door, moving to his side and got in.

Then, drove.

The drive was silent and surprisingly, comfortable. There was something about him that didn't made me feel awkward like I feel with other people.

When we reached my house, I pulled my keys out, knowing he was watching me.

"You alone?" He asked. I looked up and nodded.

"But you're not invited in." I added. He chuckled.

"I was gonna ask you if you'd like to have ice cream. But—"

"Will you pay?" I asked with grin. He raised an eyebrow and then smiled.

"Sure."

Now we were standing in front of an ice cream parlor. I grinned like an excited kid who just found a house made of chocolate as I walked in.

Felix was watching me the entire time with smile on his face. It didn't made me feel uncomfortable, but it surely made me feel self-conscious.

Why is he staring at me?

I told my order to Felix and he gave the orders. I don't know why, but I never liked ordering for myself.

He gave me my butterscotch cone and we walked out, eating our ice creams. Felix climbed on the hood of his car and sat, patting the place next to him for me to sit.

"Come on." He said. I gave him my cone and told him to hold it till for me. He did. When I climbed up and sat, I took the cone back from him.

"Wait—" he said but cut himself off as I bite in to the ice cream.

Since when did my butterscotch ice cream became chocolate in flavor?

I looked at my cone and saw it wasn't mine. It was his. I blushed. Eating his ice cream gave me a giddy feeling in my stomach.

"Sorry." I muttered. He smirked and bite into my ice cream.

"It's fine."

And hence, we ate our exchanged ice creams.

"Bye Felix." I said as I got out of the car. He smiled. As I came near the door, I realized my phone was in the car. Fortunately, Felix was still there.

"Sorry. I forgot my phone in here." I said. He smirked.

The mischievous smirk.

"No worries. Here." He handed it to me. I thanked and walked off to my house. I watched him leaving from the window and a smile crept on my face by just thinking of him.

It was the night time and I was getting ready for my bed. The door opened and my mom came in.

"Hey honey." She smiled. I smiled back.

Though my parents aren't around, I know they love me.

"Hey Mom."

"I just talked with your father. He said he will come back in a few days." She said with a smile.

"When is he coming back?"

"Next sunday i think. "she said with a sad face. My face fell.

I haven't seen him from a few weeks. she smiled and sat beside me in bed. "I know he isn't around us lately. But he is trying to make things better for us, yeah? He loves you, you know that, right?"

I nodded, "yeah, i love him too". she chucked, and kissed my forhead before leaving for her room.

As i turned the lights off, my phone vibrated.

Mr.Hottie : Missing me?

was the message and i frowned.

Me : who is this?

The reply came instantly.

Mr.Hottie : I knew you were a little stupid but i didn't knew you were this stupid!

Why is this person calling me stupid? Do i know him?

Mr.Hottie : But you are cute😉

Then i remember felix was smirking when he was giving back my phone.

So its him.

Me : And you are aarogant!

I rolled my eyes, his reply came.

Mr.Hottie : So you finally remember me? Good.

I didn't know what to say, so i decided to quit the conversation.

Mr.Hottie : Okay goodnight, Dream about me😉

I smiled at his winky emoji at the end and slept.
