On that day, humanity inside the wall received a great reminder that they were trapped inside those walls, as a huge 60 meters titan was looking at them over the walls. People looked shocked as they saw that huge titan for the first time in their life.

Earlier that day, a little boy around 10, were sleeping under a tree. Suddenly he opened his eyes and found himself in a battle field. A cute girl around 20, fully covered in blood, hold him and told him," I am sorry Eren. But this maybe the end for us." As she cried down and hug him. At that time a huge foot step on them as Eren started a scream and he woke up from his dream.

A girl around the same age as Eren, came close to him and asked him, "Are you okay Eren? " Eren surprisedly looked at her and said," Huh, Mikasa. What are you doing here?" Mikasa went back a few steps and took her carrier as she told him," Weren't we suppose to carry those wood to home ?" "Ah, I forget completely about it. " As Eren stand up and begun to pick those woods. As he was collecting woods, Mikasa noticed tears in Eren's eyes. "Eren, why are you crying?" Hearing this question, Eren put his hand on his chicks as he found out he was crying.

Eren being shocked, wiped his tears and said," I think I just had a terrifying long dream. But now I don't remember what was that about." Mikasa got close to Eren , and said in a soft voice, "Ereh." "I am fine Mikasa. That was just a dream. So no need to worry about that." Eren said that with a little smile.

Both Eren and Mikasa picked up the woods and started to return home. On the way, while they were passing the gate, an middle aged man greeted Eren and Mikasa. Eren looked at him and saw that he was drunk. Eren angrily and screamingly said, "Hey Hannes. What the hell are you doing while you are on duty?" Hannes laughed at Eren's screaming and told him, " Huh, we are just passing our time . It's just a boring job , so we are having some fun times." Eren grabbed his own head and said, "Tch.. you guys will never do your jobs seriously. " Meanwhile, Hannes's friends were calling him. So Hannes said Eren and Mikasa ," Don't you two are getting late for home. Go home safely , see you later." As he went back to his friends.

Eren and Mikasa started walking for home again, as Eren was mad at Hannes, Mikasa tried to calm him down. "Eren, why are you getting mad at them? They are always like this." Eren looked at Mikasa and calmed down a bit and said, " I know that. But if a titan break through the wall , can they protect us like that?"

Mikasa looked at Eren's face in wonder and asked him," How can titans break through the walls. The walls have been there for more than hundred years to protect us, don't they?" Eren stayed still after hearing that. "Ereh, what's the matter?", being curious Mikasa asked him. Eren broke the silence with a smile and grab his face, "Huh.. Maybe I am overthinking it ." Mikasa being surprised, "Ereh." "Don't worry about it . Let's go home quickly." They continue walking and reached home after a few moment.

They opened the door and said, " We are back." Eren's mom, Carla Yeager, was at the kitchen as she replied, "welcome back. " She gave Eren's dad his lunch , while Eren and Mikasa washed their face and hand. "Mom , I am hungry." ,Eren said loudly when he came out of the washroom. Eren's mom get close to him and wiped his face. "Ok dear ,go to the table. Mikasa, you maybe hungry too. So go to the table ." Both of them replied, "okay." As the went to the table.

Eren's dad, Grisha Yeager, was having his meal and reading some papers . Seeing Eren and Mikasa, he said, "Hey kids. How have been you two doing?" Eren replied, "We are fine. " But seeing a bag with him, Eren asked him, " Are you going somewhere, dad?" Grisha make his face a bit serious and told him, " Yes, today I have to go to the wall Sina to check a patient. " "Oh, I see. Have a good journey dad." As Eren and Grisha were talking , Mikasa tried to say something to Grisha .

Grisha noticing Mikasa, asked her," is everything alright, Mikasa?" Looking at Eren, Mikasa replied, " It was actually about Eren." "What is it?", Grisha asked Mikasa. Eren tried to stop Mikasa, but failed. Mikasa told Grisha about the weird behavior of that day. Hearing those, Grisha asked Eren, "Why were you crying after woke up?" "Like I know. Guess it was a horrible dream.", Eren replied. As Carla interfered their talking and told them to have their meal before it got cold. She also told Grisha, "Honey, you should hurry or else you are going to be late today."

After finishing his meal, Grisha took his bag and went toward the door. Before opening the door, something comes to his mind and he looked at Eren, who was kind of a depressed that time. Grisha took out a key from his pocket and told Eren, "Eren , when I will come back, I will show you what is in the basement." Hearing this Eren's mode changed and with a joy, he said, "Really, dad. This is gonna be awesome." Grisha smiled at Eren as he put his hat on this head and said bye to everyone.

After Grisha left, Eren and Mikasa also finished their meal and cleaned the plates. Carla was thinking about asking Eren to help her. But before she could ask him, Eren already goes out of the house. "Mom, I am going out to play. " Eren told that to his mom. Carla could not stop him. So she told Mikasa, " What will I do of this boy ? Will he ever listen to me? Mikasa, take care of Eren ,so that he doesn't put himself in danger." Mikasa replied , " Yes, I will." As Mikasa started to catch after Eren. Carla begun to do her household works.

At the bank of a lake, some boys were beating a blonde hair kid. That kid was holding a book and just taking that beat down. As Eren saw it, he rushed to the spot and hit a punch to the leader. After receiving the punch, the boy knocked out and fall into the lake. The other two was thinking of grabbing Eren, but they saw Mikasa was coming. So they ran away. Eren and Mikasa checked on the kid, " Hey Armin, are you alright?"

Armin shaked his head as a yes and with the help of Eren , he managed to be back on his feet. Mikasa asked him, " Why were they beating you this time?" "I just showed them the things in this book, and then they attack me. Why don't they believe that there is a see outside of this wall!"

"So , this was the reason they were beating you. Man why can't you atleast fight back?" Eren putting his hand on Armin's shoulder. "It doesn't mean I lost, right? As long as I am not running away, I am not losing. So it doesn't matter if I don't fight back.", Armin said with a little smile.

Eren, Mikasa and Armin sat in the stairs of the lake and Armin begun to talk about theut outside world written in the book. Eren asked Armin, " Do you really want to go outside of the walls?" Armin replied, "Of course, I want to see the sea." As Mikasa told Armin, " Do you know how to go outside of the wall? " Armin became silent for a moment and replied, " Yeah, the only way is to join the scout regiment." Then Mikasa told him, " Are you going to risk your life to fight the titans just to see the sea."

Hearing that, Armin got silent and little bit sad. But Eren tried to cheer him up as he said, " Armin, don't worry about that. We are gonna join the scout regiment together and will made it to the sea , it's a promise." Hearing that Armin became surprised and hugged Eren in a joy. Mikasa wasn't happy with that and tried to change their decision about joining the scout regiment but failed. Mikasa screamed at the two, " Eren Armin , why don't you understand......"

As Mikasa was screaming, a sound of lightning striked and the whole place began to shake. People around them began to scream and run. People were gathering in the main road as they were looking at the wall as streams were coming out from the outer wall.

The trio ran towards the gathering and as they looked at the walls, they became shocked and trembled in fear as a huge titan bigger than those 50 meters wall appeared. Eren unconsciously told himself, " It's them, the titans. They are on the move ." As the huge titan looked at the whole town and then stretch his legs and kicked into the walls as the gate of the wall become broken and the broken pieces of the wall fall on various locations on the town . The medium and the smaller titans begun to come inside the walls through the hole as people begun to run for their lives...

The people of Shiganshina district, were peacefully living, but all on a sudden, a huge titan showed up and made a hole in the wall. The broken pieces of the wall crushed many humans, building and blocked paths. More importantly the titans begun to come inside the walls and the people begun to run towards the inner gate to save themselves.

As the people begun to rush, Armin told Eren and Mikasa to run with him. But Eren was still in shocked and he also thought about his mom. So Eren ignoring Armin's request, rushed towards his house and Mikasa also followed him. Before leaving, Mikasa told Armin, " You better go to the inner wall hurry. We will catch you there soon."

As Armin failed to stop them, Armin begun to run towards the inner gate, as he met Hannes on his way. He told Hannes about Eren and Mikasa. Hannes assured him not to worry as he said, "I am going there and will save them if they fall in danger." Hearing this, Armin rushed towards the inner gate.

Meanwhile Eren and Mikasa running toward their home. Eren was only thinking that the rocks didn't hit their home. But on the way, they saw a lot of bloods as the people got crushed by those rocks. When they reached near his house, his nightmare became true, as they saw his house been crushed by a huge rock. They got closer as they found, Carla was stuck within the broken house.

Eren and Mikasa begun to pull those pillers up from Carla's body , but they were too heavy to move . As Carla noticed the titans are moving near by, She told Eren and Mikasa to run away as she mentioned, " Eren, take Mikasa and run away. Even you take me out , I can't sense my lower body." Eren refused that and said, "I will carry you, so just wait a bit, mom. Mikasa put more strength." Carla being emotional, " Why aren't you ever listen to me ? Mikasa you understand the situation. So please take Eren and run." Mikasa cried and refused to run away.

As they were there, a titan with a creepy smile was coming towards them. Seeing that, Eren and Mikasa begun to hurry but they couldn't move the pillars. At the meantime, Hannes come there using his odm gear. Seeing Hannes, Carla requested him to save Eren and Mikasa. But Hannes told them, " I will fight that titan and save everyone. I will repay the debt that Yeager family owe me."

Hannes ran towards the titan as Eren and Mikasa were trying hard so that Carla could get free. As Hannes got Infront of the smiling titan, he became scared. His limbs weren't moving as he were trembling in fear. He thought for a second, "If I die here, all of us will die. If I try to escape, then the kids will be safe." Thinking this Hannes quickly made his mind and rushed back to Eren's house. Hannes grabbed Mikasa in one hand and Eren in another and begun to run as he said, " I am sorry Ms.Yeager. I can't do it." As Eren was screaming at Hannes, " What are you doing, Hannes? Mom is still there." But Hannes kept on running.

Carla looked at them and thanked Hannes for saving Eren and Mikasa. As the titan was getting near her, she reminded of the moment of her family being together as she screamed , " Eren, Mikasa, stay safe." And she begun to cry. The titan came to the broken house and lift the pillars to grab Carla. Carla tried to get free from the titan's hand but failed. Eren was screaming as Hannes was running as hard as he could.

The titan grabbed Carla and taking her to her mouth. As Eren screamed with crying, " please, stop it. " The titan bite Carla's nape as blood flying over the area. Eren was shocked and terrified to see his mother died Infront of him. Hannes just kept going as Mikasa was also crying.

After a few moment, Eren begun to punch Hannes. Hannes put Eren down, as Eren cried out and angrily said, " Why didn't you save my mom?" Hannes put his hand on Eren's shoulder and said with a cried voice, " it's because, I wasn't strong enough to fight. We humans are weak. You could not save her, because you are weak. And I couldn't fight because I was afraid of that titan. So now just stay safe ." Hannes hold both Eren's and Mikasa's hand and took them to the inner gate. Where the people gather on ships to evacuate Shiganshina and take shelter inside of Wall Rose. Eren and Mikasa also got in a ship where Armin was waiting for them.

As almost all the alive people got to the inner gate, the soldiers of the Garison units, were prepared for closing the inner gate, so that the titans couldn't come in side of Wall Maria. But at that time, again a lightening strike nearby. The soldiers saw an abnormal titan was running towards them, so the ignored the lightening, and were busy to close the gate. They prepared the canons to stop that titan.

Suddenly, they heard a heavy footstep as a titan covered with armored , was walking towards them. The soldiers shooted the canons ,but that was useless. Then the armored Titan began to run towards the gate. At this , the soldiers got on full retreat and tried to close the gate quickly. But they failed to do that as the Armored Titan broke through the gate.

Meanwhile, the people on the port , begun to get scared and they tried to jump on the ships, which have already started to move. Eren , Mikasa and Armin safely was on the ship. Eren was in full of regret as he couldn't save his mom. Suddenly he remembered what Hannes told him a while ago. Eren think about that and question himself, " Why we had to face something like this? Why our freedom has been taken away?" As thinking about this, Eren was crying and went to a corner of the ship. He looked at the destroyed Shiganshina, as he swore with a rage, " I will kill every single one of them. I will keep moving forward until I end all the titans." As Mikasa and Armin just looked at Eren and stayed quiet.

Within a moment, the news of the fall of Shiganshina spread in the wall. People from other part of the Wall Maria , begun to evacuate the Wall Maria, as the titans came inside of the wall. As a result, the outer town of Wall Rose, got full of refugees.

Few hours later, they got into the refuge center and the trio fall asleep as they were tired. While Eren was in a sleep, Grisha hurriedly came to the shelter center. Grisha wake Eren up and took him in to the hallway of the center. Grisha asked Eren about Carla. Eren said in his sleep, "Mom, a titan ate her." Grisha was shocked and broken as he heard those words.

A man, in a scout regiment dress, try to calm down Grisha. Grisha grab Eren and took him outside of the shelter center. The other person followed them. After an hour later, the other guy took Eren back to the shelter center and put him back to his sleeping place.

"Eren, avenge your mother.", Grisha was saying this and coming toward Eren with an injection. Eren tried to push Grisha away, " What are you doing, dad? You are acting crazy ever since mom died." Grisha grabbed Eren and said with a cry, " Eren , forgive me. Because of my actions, you are going to have a great suffering. But I don't have much time left and because of the injection, you may forget this , just keep this key with you and remember it, you have go to the basement and know the truth and go back to my home. You have to save everyone. So please forgive me." Grisha then push the injection in Eren's arm as Eren screamed at him and Eren woke up.

"Huh, was it just a dream?" Eren thought about that. Mikasa came to him and said, " Eren , are you alright?" Eren said he was fine and asked her about Armin. Mikasa told him , " Armin goes to grab some food for us. Let's get outside." Eren stood up and see the key was hanging on his neck. "Huh, when did I got the key?" Eren was confused and couldn't find out what happened last night.

Eren asked Mikasa, " Have you seen dad around here?" " No, I didn't seen him after yesterday.", Mikasa replied. Hearing the word yesterday, Eren got remind of her mother got eaten by a titan. Then he again noticed the key and tried hard to remember anything. Mikasa after seeing Eren holding the key, "Ereh, where did you got that key? Didn't it was with Dr. Grisha?" Eren in a sad voice, " Yeah, I was thinking about this. If he came here last night, then where is he?" Eren was sad and angry at the same time, as he held the key and said ," I will go back to home no matter what it takes. "

"Eren, do you know what that means? You have to join the scouts for going outside the Wall Rose now." Mikasa told Eren in a bold voice. Eren replied in a mixed voice, " I know that. But I really need to know what was in the basement. So I will do this anyway."

Meanwhile, Armin came from outside with three pieces of bun. " Man, it's hard to get food in this kind of situation. I thought it would be hard to get food, never thought it would be that hard to get a little food.", Armin was blubbering to himself, as he saw Eren and Mikasa. "Hey, Eren. Are you okay now? " Before Eren could answer , Armin gave him one piece of bun. "You must be hungry. Have it." Armin told Eren. He also gave Mikasa another piece.

While eating, Eren told Armin about his plan to join the scout regiment. Armin was shocked as he thought Eren was just joking the other day. So Armin asked him ," why do you want to join the scouts. Why not the military police ?" Mikasa also asked that question again.

" I want to know the truth about the walls. And the answers are at my basement I guess." Eren told them holding the key . "Also, it would be a good chance for me to kill those stupid titans ."

"Huh, well if you wished to join the scout, I would also like to join the scout." Armin said it with a smile. " What are you saying, Armin?" Mikasa yelled at Armin. "Eren, didn't we promise to see the sea together? If we can join the scouts, we could possibly get to the sea ."

Eren being surprised at Armin , hugged him. " You are truly a great friend, Armin. Let's do this together." Armin also agreed with that. Mikasa then realizing that she failed to stop them from making scout regiment as their goal, " than, if you two join the scout regiment, I will also join the scout to protect you two ." Eren and Armin was shocked to hear that. Both of them hugged Mikasa as the trio was finally smiling after the yesterday incident.

Six months later, the scout regiment with 75% of the matured refugees charged for retake Wall Maria, but they failed as only 6% peoples came back alive . Their sacrifice solved the problem of food shortage. But humanity was truly facing the darkest days inside the walls, but Eren and his friends keep moving forward from the sadness to achieve their goal to take back their home.

One year had passed away after the Wall Maria had been fallen. As Eren, Mikasa and Armin wanted to join the scout regiment, they applied for the training corps. They would be able to join the training corps next year. So for living , the trio took shelter in a farm at the district of Troast , in Wall Rose.

Eren , Mikasa and Armin helped the owner to maintain the farm and the owner gave them shelter and foods. The owner of the farm was an old man, named Mr.Ruis . As the three of them helped him and his wife to maintain the farm, they gave them a place to live and feed them foods.

One day, in the morning , Eren and Mikasa was giving food to the horses of the farm. Suddenly, Ms.Ruis came to them and said, " Oh my, you two have already begun to work. You guys surely are really helpful to us. " "It's nothing if we compare to your's help. We are really thankful to you for let us stay." Both Eren and Mikasa replied. She gave them a smile and patted their head ," I wish my child was like you guys."

Both of them again got busy in their works as Ms.Ruis was about to leave the farm, she remembered something. She asked Eren to go to the forest for bringing some woods. Eren agreed to go but Mikasa wanted to go with Eren. Ms.Ruis accept that but Eren rejected Mikasa's request as he wanted to do his work all by himself.

After a few minutes of argument, Mikasa gave up and let Eren to go alone. Ms.Ruis laughed at them for their activities. She told Eren to stay safe and come back home quickly. Eren then took an axe and a bucket with him and went to the south-east part of the town where the forest begun.

After Eren's departure, Ms.Ruis told Mikasa, "I know you're worried about Eren. But you should let him do his work in his own way. If you guys really wanted to join the scouts, then you have to more hard work than these. So let him built himself." Mikasa looking at the ground, " I got it . Thank you for the advice." Ms.Ruis put her hands on Mikasa's shoulder, "Mikasa, you are a good and strong girl. I Know you will be alright in the scouts, because you guys have seen a lot at this age and that makes you stronger."

After that, Ms.Ruis leave the farm to cook the meal as Mikasa followed her. Meanwhile, Armin came back from outside hurriedly as he came back with a news. Mr.Ruis saw him and asked, "Why are you looked afraid,Armin? Anything happened?" Armin replied that, " There is a rumor spreading that a titan was noticed in the forest today morning. " Mikasa hearing this, "What are you talking about, Armin. Does that mean the walls been..."

Armin stopped her as he said, "No, the wall is alright. But people saw a titan for last few days and people have gotten missing in the forest." "You mean the forest is now an unsafe place." Mikasa told this is a shocked voice. "Yes, but where is Eren?" Armin asked. Mikasa was in a shocked and stayed silent. Ms.Ruis replied that in a tensed voice, "He has gone to the forest to collect woods." Hearing this Armin also became afraid and shocked. Mr.Ruis tried to calm them down and said, " Don't worry about that so much. Just hope that Eren will be back home safely."

Meanwhile Eren was already reached the side of the forest but he found out he was alone there. He begun to cut a tree to collect woods. But he listened some noises coming from deep of the forest. Eren tried to ignore that and end his work quickly. But suddenly he heard a scream coming from the forest.

Eren being a little afraid, took his axe and started to go inside of the forest. As Eren went a little deeper in the forest, he saw bloods. Eren nervously still kept going. As he went a few meters in side of forest, there was a body, hanging upside down with a tree. As Eren went near of the body, he realized that he went directly into the dead zone and he became to shivering in fear.

As Eren tried to escape the forest, suddenly a 5 meters titan, with sharp jaw and claws appeared in front of him. Looking at it's size and look, Eren realized that it would be impossible for him to escape from the forest. So Eren was terrified as he thought of being killed by a titan.

But suddenly he remembered the death of his mother, so the fear in him suddenly got vanished as Eren grabbed the axe and charged at the titan with rage. The titan also tried to hit Eren with it's sharp claw, but Eren somehow dodged that and swung his axe at a full power with made a cut in the titan arm. But the titan grabbed Eren with another hand and threw Eren toward a tree. But Eren somehow managed to do a safe landing , but Eren got few scratches on his arm and leg.

Eren with his injuries, again charged toward the titan. But this time he got caught by the claws which broke his axe and cut through his both arms and he was thrown towards a tree . This time Eren hit his head with a tree as he begun to bleeding . The titan goes near him and ignored him as he was dead. And he begun to go away.

As Eren was hurt so badly, he begun to lose his consciousness. He tried to looked at the titan but everything begun to be seemed blurry in front of his eyes. As he saw something coming out from the nape of the titan, he fainted.

After an hour , a group of people came to the forest to investigate the case, as they found out Eren was lying under a tree. A red haired girl told their captain about Eren. They tried to wake him up.

As Eren opened his eyes slowly and was in a shock that he was still alive. He even became more shocked as his wound have been healed and he was fully unharmed. Eren tried to think that as a dream, but than he saw his axe has been broken and there are bloods around him.

Seeing Eren woken, the red haired girl went to him and wanted to know who he was and what he was doing in the forest. Eren replied her, " I am Eren Yeager. I was cutting woods for my home. But suddenly....." Eren stopped there, as the girl asked him , " what happened here?"

Eren replied, " I cannot remember about everything that happened, but I only remember, there was a titan." "A titan, are you sure ?" The girl asked him with a shock.

Then she introduced herself to Eren , " My name is Isabel. I am an member of the survey corps under the Hange squad." Eren was surprised to see a member of the survey corps. Suddenly a woman with glasses, named Hange, came there and listened to Eren .

Meanwhile the others found a burnout body of a titan nearby of the place. Hearing this, Hange told Eren, " looks like you were telling us the truth. But are you the one who killed that titan?" Eren refused that and Hange said, "Of course, how can a kid can kill a titan. But I guess you are lucky to survive against a titan."

Hange than ordered Isabel and to take Eren out of the forest safely. They took Eren and begun to go outside of the forest. But Isabel looked curious at Eren as she stared at him for the whole time. Eren after noticing that, being nervous he said, " Hey miss, is there anything wrong with me?"

Hearing a question from Eren , Isabel back to her senses. "Oh, my bad. You kind of remind me of someone I know. Your face really resemble her." Hearing this, Eren wanted to know who was that person. Isabel replied ," Her name was Carla. She was my aunt. But it's been a long time we met. I heard that she got married. "

Hearing that, Eren became shocked and said, " Wait a second, she is my mom. " Isabel also became surprised hearing those lines. " Huh, so this is the reason you assemble her so much. So that makes us cousins, right?" Eren in a surprise, "Yeah." Eren became a little sad as he got remind of her mother.

"So how is she doing? I think I should pay a visit to her, right Eren?" Isabel said that to Eren . Eren keeping his head down, "But that's impossible now. " Isabel being curious at Eren's words, "What do you mean?" Eren in a sad voice, " Mom is dead. She was eaten by a titan the day when the wall was breached. " Isabel became sad and shocked as Eren told everything that happened 1 years ago.

After hearing everything, Isabel responded," You have been gone through a lot of things, but don't be sad, Eren. I am sure Carla would not be happy, if she saw you sad. So always stay with a bright smile and fight to achieve your goals." As she pated Eren. As Eren hugged her and cried out. Isabel also grabbed him and said, " Don't worry, you have got your big sis on your back."

After a few moment, Eren calmed down and they got out of the forest. Then Eren told her, " Actually, I wish to join the scout regiment. So that I could avenge mom." Isabel replied with a smile, " Well that will not be a easy path. But if you get lucky like today and work hard, you surely can make it. And if you join the scouts, then I will always be there for you." Eren thanked her as he said, "I can go home now by my self. So you can go back to your duty, big sis."

"Well, you look completely alright. Ok, then take care of yourself and prepare yourself for becoming strong to fight." Isabel said that to Eren. As Eren was about to run, "Thank you, big sis. You should also be careful. Wait for me to join the scout regiment." As Eren began to run. Isabel replied, "Ok, Eren . I will wait for you." As they wave each other bye.

After that, Isabel used her odm gear to get back to squad, as she reminded Carla and wished her a happy afterlife. After returning, Hange told her, "You are late. Wish you had a better explanation for this." Isabel put her hand on her head, as smiled and said, " Actually, that kid was my cousin. So it took a little bit more time to talk with him." "Oh well, a family reunion. What a great moment." Hange told with an excitement. Then they continue their investigation.

Meanwhile, Eren got back to home safely, as Mikasa and Armin saw him and hugged him. "Hey, I am okay. So let me go." Eren shouted at them with a smile. "Don't make us worried, you fool" Armin told him. As Ms. Ruis grabbed Eren and said, " Thank god, you are alright Eren. " Well, I am sorry for making all of you worried." As Eren go inside the house.

Eren told them about everything that happened that day. Armin with a shocked, " So the rumors were true. " Eren replied in the affirmative. Meanwhile Mikasa told Eren ," Are you really okay?"
