" Get up Bella . It's past 8 . You will miss your 9 a.m. class " -- An angry voice comes from the hall.

" Uff mom ! Let me sleep . "

" GET UP AND COME TO THE BREAKFAST TABLE WITHIN A MINUTE OR.......... "

"Okay , mom " -- I lazily get up .

--------- So , I am Bella . And what you saw just now was my mom waking me up . It happens everyday. Let me tell you about myself. I am an attractive average looking girl. I am the eldest daughter of my parents who are teachers .I have a younger sister .I am in second year of college and she is in class 9. I am not so good in studies but I like to read and write. I am shy and introverted. I can't communicate with people much .That's why I have no friends and I live in my own world. Yes, I am living a boring life. Every day repeats itself.

(Half an hour later at the college gate)

Let's go Bella .Spend another boring day here.

(Someone pushes me )

"What are you pushing me for ?-----"Yeah, I can only shout in my mind.

(Not far, a girl is being centered by quite a number of students)

Oh! It's her. She is Lisa .She is in my year but total opposite of me . She can sing , dance and paint . And she is even good at studies . She is super pretty and comes from a reputed family. And she is very much active in social media. So, she is the most popular girl in the whole college. Many people are harbouring a crush on her . I have heard some people say that she is a sweet girl ,helps others and talks nicely. But how do I know? I never talked to her. I just know that my remaining confidence leaves me whenever I see her. What's now! Let's go to the class.

(I turn around and bump into someone)

"Ah" (I fall on the ground)

Have I bumped into a tree or what ?

(I look up and see HIM)

Oh no! Whose face have I seen this morning. Why are all bad things happening to me now? Oh! my own face, that's why. Is he going to kill me ? But...... he stares at me strangely and walks away. Thank God!

You must be thinking who is HE I am so afraid of .He is Mark. He is a rogue. He beats people unreasonably. He has been suspended many times. But the college cannot rusticate him because his rich father is the main donor of this college.But he doesn't have a gang. He is the lion, hunts alone. Not only me, everyone, even the seniors, are afraid of him. Aaaaand he is in my year .

(At 10:00 a.m. inside the classroom )

We had a class at 9 but the teacher didn't come . Shouldn't they inform us beforehand in the college group? I would have slept some more.

(A handsome boy with glasses enters our classroom)

Oh! The teachers' favourite boy has now himself become the teacher or what ? It's John, the smartest boy in the college. He is a brilliant student and very handsome .But don't go on his looks. He is too proud and arrogant. Why does he have to be like this cold towards people? Then why not? All the teachers like him, he should be proud. And, of course, he is also in my year. My year has unique versatility of students. But .......what is he doing here?

John :- "Mr Carter is absent today .So I, myself, have to come. Though it's not my work, I take it as my duty . You should be grateful for that. So this year's annual college trip is scheduled on 27th this month . You have to submit Rs 1000 to me within 10 days .Who does not want to go, has to submit an application to the principal. And yes, we are going to Aurora wildlife sanctuary and Vencoast forest ."

(He walks out of the classroom).

I don't want to go but my mom won't listen. So I have to go like last year. That time I followed the teachers and sat alone the remaining day . This year will be the same.

(Morning after the trip)

We come to Vencoast and visited the sanctuary yesterday . And the day passed as I thought it would . Everyone was having fun and I was totally alone but I can't even go back today . it has been decided that 20 students have to do their botany project in this forest as it is a suitable natural site . I am one of them . So , we all have to stay here today . We will go home in the afternoon . But the whole day here and working with a group -- it's my worst nightmare . What am I gonna do ? Now , please teachers , come and devide us in groups . Just get it over with quickly .

Teacher :- " There will be five groups , each consisting of four students . First group is Lisa , John , Mark and Bella .....

No , it can't be . I can't be with them . God , please save me .

Teacher :- " Now from the groups and start your projects . (Walks away)

(I nervously works to John)

John :- " I have to be teammates with the show of girl and the rogue and.... ( pointing at me) who is this ?

Me :- " Um... I am Bella ." (Nervously)

John :- " Whatever "

(Lisa comes running)

Lisa :- " Hiii ..... Bella right ?"

Me:- "Um ...yes ... hi "

(Mark comes quietly)

John :- "So , you know the topic -- we have to write a research paper on medicinal plants found here with samples . Let's find the samples first . We have to search within 20m radius . Let's -

Lisa :- " Let's search in 2 groups and meet here again in half an hour .

Mark :- " Okay , Bella and I will go together .

Me :- (Shocked)" We will ? "

Mark :- " We won't ? "

Why is he looking like a child wanting to show his mother something ?

Me :- " Umm ...Okay .

(We parts ways)

Mark says nothing throughout the whole search . And I , of course , don't .

(Half an hour later)

(John returns alone)

Me :- " Where is Lisa ?"

John :- " She says she would go alone . She will come back .

But she doesn't for another half an hour .

Me :- " Um...I think we should search for Lisa .

John :- " You go if you want to .

Teacher:- " where is your another teammate John ?"

John :- " She went to find the samples alone , sir . She should come back by now .

Teacher :- " How can you all leave her alone ? Have you called her ? "

John :- " I am calling her sir . "

(The phone rings from Lisa's bag)

Teacher :- " Go find her and keep contact with me .

John :- " Yes sir. "

we are searching for Lisa for not sure how much time . And now we don't even know where we are and how to go back to the camp .

John :- " Oh no ! There is no network . How will we go back . This is all for that show-of girl .

Suddenly a gust of wind comes from the east and we hear a sound -- " H-e-e-elp " . Again ".....elp ."

Me :- " Isn't that Lisa's voice ? It's coming from the east . Let's go ."

We come to a place following the sound but there is no one . This place is surrounded by so many trees but this place is , itself empty . It seems some hidden spot . What are we getting ourselves into ? "

BACK TO THE STORY

(We are looking for Lisa)

John :- " Now where is she-e-e-e..... "

(He falls in a pit)

Me :- " We should help him .

I run to the place where John fell down . But when I try to examine the pit , I also slip and fall in it .

Mark :- " Hey Bella , where are you ?"

I can hear him souting . You should have hold me , idiot . Then again , it was my own fault . What was going inside my head that I run so thoughtlessly ? Am I going to die ?

Mark :- " I am coming . Wait ."

Yes , come . Let's die together .

Me :- " Ah ! "

I haven't died yet . I fall on a hard floor . And it's too dark here .

(Someone starts weeping )

God who is it now ....... wait ?

Me :- " L- Lisa ? "

(A flashlight lighten up)

John :- (Pointing the light at Lisa) " So , you are here ? Do you know how much we looked for you ? (Then pointing the light at me) And , what are you doing here ? "

Me :- " I - I followed you . "

(Thump)

Mark:- " Ahh.. "

John :- (Pointing the light to Mark's face) " Woww ! The whole party is here . What are we waiting for then ? Do you want to get out of here or not ? "

Mark :- " We can't climb up so how do you plan to get out ? "

John :- " I don't know . But we have to search , maybe we can find something useful here .

(Showing all around with his mobile flashlight) What is this place though ? Is this a cave ? "

Me :- " Can some hidden treasure be found here ? "

What ! did I ...... did I say it out around ?

John :- (Rolling his eyes) " You watch too many stupid movies . "

Mark :- " It's not utterly impossible though .Who thought we would find an underground cave ? "

Lisa :- " I don't (sobs) want to stay here (sobs) even if there are treasures (sobs) . I was so afraid ."

John :- " I really want to take a video of you now and upload it in social media -------#QueenLisaIsAfraid . What will your admirers say ? By the way , don't anyone of you have phone ? My phone is the only source of light here . "

Lisa :- " You just shut up ! When we will go back , I will show you ."

She is shaking . I hold her hands . She first looks at me then relaxes a bit .

Mark :- " I didn't take my phone here . "

John :- " Wow ! "

Me :- " I - I have my phone but it has broken while falling . "

(After a minute of silence)

Lisa :- " You know I was really afraid when I fell down here . It hurts so bad . Then I started crying . After sometime I heard a loud thud , then everything was silent until I heard your voice . (Looking at me) and I started weeping again . "

(Everyone looks at John)

John :- " I heard the sound of breathing so I thought it was so animal . I was waiting silently for that . Then you feel down ."

Me :- " Oh.. "
