Chapter 1 - Can’t help falling in love with you

Starlike eyes that reminds a person of the ever unforgetful sunset. That’s what “his” were. Calm, comforting, and warm.

Regrets poured into a mind.

Who’s mind?

His mind. Hair as dark as the night sky but still with wonders in it. Raven hair. And eyes that seem to be searching for something... but for what?

The man stood out in the rain, with a bouquet of forget-me-not.

It was “his” favorite flower.

Slowly he bent down, towards the grassy ground. Where a photo lied. A photo of a young man.

“Eun do you hate me now?,” asked the man “Please say you do because.. I can’t even like myself right now, no I don’t think I can ever do that anymore.”

The man continued “you helped shaped me to the man I am today, you helped me like myself even if it’s just a little bit,” he touched the picture with a scoffing smile. Putting his hand against the young man’s cheeks in the photo.

The man chucked a little and reminisced about his childhood.

“Hyung! I found you hyung. It’s your turn to find me now,” a boy with golden hair and sunset eyes shouted as he was smiling covered in dirt from head to toe.

The raven haired young boy petted the other boy’s head, ruffled it and said “ok. Go hide now.”

There was an elegance to the golden haired boy even when covered in dirt.

“Who could’ve know that I would never see you again. I’m such a fool,” scoffed the raven haired young man “how did I never noticed your act? Am I fated to never be with you? I can’t live without you in this world.”

“Do you miss m—“ he tried to ask.. but he couldn’t muster it out of himself to say it.

“-I do”

The man wasn’t done blaming himself, “I should’ve paided more attention to you.”

“You know I tried to distract myself with studies to not think of you. But it never worked. I’d always think about you in the end...”

A golden haired teenager shouted with excitement “Hyung! Hyung! Sing with me.”

The raven haired teenager chuckled in response and said “ok ok”

The two sang in unison,

“wise men say only fools rush in

But I can’t help falling in love with you

Oh, shall I stay, would it be a sin

....”

“-Hyeon. Young master Hyeon. It’s raining too hard. You have to go back inside or you’re going to get sick,” the man informed the raven haired man.

The raven haired man slowly got up and commanded “butler did I not tell you to not interrupt me? This better not happen next time.”

The butler nodded in response and said “of course young master. This will not happen again.”

Chapter 2 - Put your head on my shoulder

The two had met in their childhood years. And they were inseparable, always seen together like peas in a pod.

It was at a party of sort. Eun had gone out to the garden for a walk, he felt left out since it was his first time in Korea.

He was walking along admiring the roses. When he suddenly saw a young boy around his age looking at the moon.

A gust of wind blew through as their hair swayed back and forth. Eun was mesmerized by the young raven haired boy.

There he met him, Hyeon Jun.

Jun looked to his side and smiled.

“Hello what are you doing here?”

Eun still mesmerized shook it off and responded “um.. it’s my first time in Korea and I don’t know anyone so I.. I just went for a walk.”

“Oh you’re the Russian family aren’t you?” Inquired Jun.

Eun who was still not over it stumbled on his words, “yesh I mean yes. My father is Russian but my mother is Korean.” As he blushed.

Jun then introduced himself, “My name is Jun, Hyeon Jun. With Jun meaning talented, handsome. What’s yours?”

Eun smiled and replied “Eun Mikhailovich,” As he shook Jim’s hand, “but my last name is Levedev. In Russia we introduce ourself by using our first name and then patrynomic.”

“Oh? How so?” Jun curiously asked.

Eun gladly explained “Well my first name is Eun meaning silver in Korean. And my surname is Levedev a Russian name meaning swan. And patrynimic is Mikailhovich which is from my father’s.”

“I see”

They then asked each others age and settled on Jun being the hyung with Eun slightly pouting with his puffed up cheeks.

Jun and Eun acquainted each other that night.

On the following day the Levedev family had gone to visit the Hyeon family.

Eun peeked from where he was hiding, behind his mother.

“Come on Eun go and introduce yourself,” she said.

Eun saw someone familiar and ran towards him, “Hyung!” Grining from ear to ear.

Jun gladly welcomed the small ball of sunshine running towards him.

A few years had passed the two were still inseparable. They had had multiple sleep overs and stayed in each other’s house.

They enjoyed each other’s company very much.

But it was time for Eun to go back to Russia now.

He didn’t want to so he ran away to his hyung.

“Hyung. Mom. Mom said we have to go back to Russia now...,” he started crying “but I don’t want to. I want to stay with you hyung.” He kept crying while trying to wipe his tears.

“You cry baby. Your mom said you guys are only going back for two years,” he said as he wiped the tears away for Eun.

“Here. You can put your head on my shoulder and cry all you want today,” Jun cooed him.

Chapter 3 - I wanna be yours

Eun had came back from Russia and was excited to meet his hyung. But first he went to his new high school with his parents got things sorted out for a smooth transfer.

He was excited to go to a school with his hyung. That night he couldn’t fall asleep.

He woke up the next day.

His parents had prepared everything he would need for school and waved him goodbye as he left out of the house.

He arrived to his class. The teacher told him to introduce himself so he did.

He made a new friend that day. He was a transfer student from America. He was easily distinguishable, especially with that red fiery hair. His name was Nathen.

Nathen was also friends with Jun so they became three circle of friends.

As their bond grew they made nicknames for each other.

Nathen’s had been shortened to Nate.

And Eun was called “sunshine” but only by Nate.

And for Jun it was still hyung and Jun.

It’s been almost half a year so their school had planned a hiking trip.

Eun was excited to go a trip with his friends. He stayed up late because he was unable to sleep.

Soon his mother had dropped him off. He met with Jun and Nate.

He went up to Jun with his sleepy tired eyes.

“Hyung let me sit next to you,” he asked shamelessly. He knew that his hyung was popular with girls so they been trying to sit next to his hyung.

But there was no way he was letting others sit beside his hyung.

Jun looked at the cute Eun who seemed half asleep looked away and said “sure but close up your buttons first. You get cold easily and it’s going to be colder in the bus.”

Eun obidiently listen to his hyung and cling around Jun’s arm and slept on his shoulder in the bus.

Nate started a conversation with Jun “You guys sure are as close as always.”

Jun looked at him with a sinister smile and said “of course I wouldn’t trade him for anyone. He’s so clueless sometimes.”

Nate smiles wryly and turned to the window. His seat was parallel to these two’s. And the best of all he got the window seat.

They arrived at the camp site in dusk and Jun woke Eun up gently and the teachers started explains the rules.

Everyone was tired so they went to go get dinner and went to bed.

The next day they ate breakfast and started hiking up as their first activity.

A third of the way through Eun had collapsed so Jun stayed behind. Nate had volunteered but Jun stared deadly at him to which Nate laughed it off and took back his offer.

“I’m sorry hyung. You had to stay behind and take care of me,” Eun started as he was sweating bullets.

Jun had came prepared so he took out a towel wiped Eun’s sweat “Don’t worry I know you have a weak body.” he said as they took shade under a cherry blossom tree.

“And it’s you so I don’t mind” whispered Jun.

“Huh? Did you say something hyung?” Asked Eun

Jun replied “no. I think the heat is getting to you.”

As Eun lies down on the grass a cherry blossom fell on his hair.

Jun went to get it.

Eun got up. He was blushing. Jun realized what he had just did and blushed slightly.

Jun brushed Eun’s hair behind his ears which were blazing red and quietly muttered “I wanna be yours. But you’re not ready to hear my feelings yet.”

The two rested and began to catch up to their classmates.

Dusk fell and they all returned to their camping site.
