In the small city called Moon City, many people start their daily lives as merchant, scholar, trader, business owner and many more especially people who choose a path as cultivator. They received huge fortune and wealth especially for powerful cultivator. Not only in Moon City, but all other city around the country will have same situation for cultivator.

In the morning, a young boy with plain cloth sweeping dust on the floor at one restaurant in the city. "argh...what a pain for me to work in the early moring" said the boy who is around 14 years old. This restaurant is one of the busiest restaurant in the city especially when a new academy building open next to their building. "i should have enter that academy..why am i stuck doing this shit job". Suddenly, a sound from kitchen "don't even dream about entering academy, Li Yan" says the old man, who is chef at the restaurant. "Maybe when you are 5 years old, many people regard you as one of geniuses when you suddenly can open your Qi at such young age" the old man said while preparing material for his cooking. Li Yan asnwer with proud "of course I am a genius. who else can sense and open their Qi source in their body at such young age. There no one but me. Hahahaha". Without a warning, a strange object flying straight to Li Yan head and hit it. Li Yan growling in pain as his eyes stare straight into the kitchen. "What are you doing old man, are you trying to kill me with this pan" said Li Yan with his hand in his head covering the pain. "Yeah you are genius. But that when you a little boy. Right now many people who same age as you right at least in fourth level Qi Refining while you are only at first level Qi Refining same as when you five years old. So, stop complaining and do your work properly" said the annoyed old man.

After hearing what old man said, Li Yan can help but felt dejected because what the old said is all true. Many people who in same age as him right now at who can cultivate is in fourth level Qi Refining and some of them already in fifth level. Li Yan also heard that Moon City mayor's youngest son already in sixth level Qi Refining and what more, Mayor's son is a year younger that him. The starting point for people to start cultivator life is when they can feel their Qi source. That feel signifies that person is already enter first level Qi Refining Realm, first realm of cultivator life. In this realm, there are total of seven stage or level Qi Refining before they reaching peak level Qi Refining and ready to make a realm breakthrough to next realm which is Qi State Realm.

While rubbing his head, Li Yan can help but feel jelous about other achievement in their cultivating life." If i continue to follow this cultivating life, maybe i can enter Qi State Realm when i am more than 30 years old." thought Li Yan. Generally, when people who follor cultivate life can enter Qi State Realm at 20s or some of then enter the realm earlier than anyone. But, not all can get fortune and luck, Li Yan still can't progress and stuck at first level Qi Refining after nine years feel Qi Source. "i also thinking back then that this Li Yan kid can make to Saint Realm and became second Saint cultivator in this city, beside City Moon's mayor who is also Saint cultivator." thought the old man.

In the evening, the old man told Li Yan to go buy ingredients for cooking because most of the ingredients in the kitchen has finished. Then Li Yan took the money and goes straight into the market. On the way to the ingredients store, Li Yan took a detour and stop in front on the cultivator academy. Sign board of acadamy shows "Baek Academy Moon City's branch". While looking at the sign board, Li Yan had been seen by academy's disciples and the three boy's took this time to show off their uniforms to Li Yan and make fun of him. This make Li Yan feel more feel jealous and attack them. While the three boy's are younger and smaller than him, there are fourth level especially the bos of the group is fifth level Qi Refining. The result is clear when there is a huge gap in their level and Li Yan took the besting from the boy's group. After the fight is over, Li Yan, with minor injuries at his body walk away while the bos of the group gave warning to Li Yan not to wander around the academy in the future if didn't want the beating from him. After finished buying the ingredients, Li Yan dropped the ingredients at the restaurant and walk away to a mountain near the City. Li Yan occasionally went to a small cave in the near mountain and training by himself.

There are many mountain near Moon city and one of them is Pheonix mountain, the mountain that Li Yan always go to train. While Li Yan resting and curing his injuries, he look at a small sack that he found last month while searching for herbs in the mountain. Li Yan took out a piece of wood that has a few word on that he doesn't understand what the meaning of that word.

After a few hours, his body already fully healed from the injuries. His body is a bit special because even if his level is only at first level Qi Refining, but the amount of his Qi is five times more than ordinary first level Qi Refining. But, even if his Qi is ridiculous for that level, he cannot make a level breakthrough and because of that he is weaker than second level Qi Refining. When people in Qi Refining realm, they only need to focus to gather surrounding nature energy and transform them into Qi. When someone body is already have enough Qi, naturally the minor breakthrough happen and when the Qi is already integrated with their body, a realm breakthrough will happen from Qi Refining to Qi State Realm. This is what make Li Yan confused because the amount of Qi that he gather already much more than what average people need to make minor breakthrough. After pondering for a while, he cannot think why that he get such misfortune on his life.

While Li Yan pondering in the cave, there are some loud sound in the mountain. That loud sound also been heard by Li Yan, so he is wondering maybe some monster are fighting, then he go out from the cave and look for the source for the loud sound. To his surprise, there are group of people fighting with some beast monster. When Li Yan look closely, that group of 6 people currently engaged in a battle with some white wolf beast. Li Yan took this opportunity to watch and learn some of figthing skill and experiences when hunting a monster beast.

In the group of 6 people, one man who in early 20s give command to others people to get into battle formation to trap the white wolf beast. While observing the battle, Li Yan recognise the leader of that group as Ji Wae, second son of Moon City's mayor and he is in fifth level Qi State Realm. Others are two in second level Qi State and while the other three is in third and fourth level. Based on the their clothes style and design, seem like all of them are from Baek Academy. Ji Yan also shock that they are fighting with a D level beast. For monster and beast, their strength are measure by E level which is for weakest than up to D level, C level, B level, A level and the highest and strongest which is S level. Li Yan also thought while that white wolf only D level, that beast level is comparable with human cultivator in stage Saint Realm. That why Li Yan confused and wander that how the 6 group of people only consist with Qi State realm can win against D level white wolf.

While others 5 people get into formation and distract white wolf, Ji Wae took out a sword and pour his Qi into the sword to create a one powerful attack on the white wolf. Li Yan, who for a while observing their battle, recognise the sword as an grade 2 offensive artifacts. This gave Li Yan answer why the group of people only consist Qi State Realm bravely attack a D level beast because a grade 2 artifacts give an attack equivalent with Saint Realm powerful attack. However there is negative effect for using it because when a Qi State Realm can only use it once. After effect is Qi State Realm will be very weak and even has little strength to walk due to the power needed to activate grade 2 artifact. This grade level is suitable for Saint Realm and above.

When the powerful attack from Ji Wae that using grade 2 sword landed precisely on white wolf body, the beast make a loud shriek, signifies that the attack was successful. After white wolf badly injured from Ji Wae attack, others people who already in formation launch continuous attack toward the white wolf. After series of continuous attack, finally the white wolf died. Ji Wae who look like half recovered after taking a pill grab the monster core. "Good. Today we make such a fortune that we collect this D level monster core" said Ji Wae to his subordinates. "After reaching the city, I will devided the profit that we gain from this white wolf body evently". Lie Yun, one of Ji Wae subordinates thought that even if the profit from the body is shared with other, profit from the body is nothing when compared to D level monster core. But nothing can they do because Ji Wae is Mayor's second son. So, they automatically agree with Ji Wae's ordered. Soon, they gathered and leave the area back to Moon City.

Li Yun, currently hiding not afar from the battle had can help but felt helpless because he is witnessing such battle. But for the next minutes, Li Yan sense such powerful and wild aura entering the battle place. Li Yan body froze when he is watching an big and a very dangerous C level white wolf and others white wolf. "Shit, that look like an alpha beast from white wolf. with such wild and powerful aura, that mean that big white wolf is thier leader. Got to hurry ran away from here". With the worst luck, the white wolf apha sense Li Yun that currently ran away and quickly ran after him. With Li Yun level, he know that he can't ran away because that monster will catch him before he gets to the city. With his quick thinking, he run toward the little cave that he always goes to train to hide from the dangerous beast. With such small entry, the beast can't enter Lin Yan cave but they stayed surrounding the cave entry. "Maybe i have little luck in me. But that beast will be outside for long time i think" said Li Yan while cathing his breath.

Inside the Pheonix Mountain, Li Yan still hiding inside his cave,avoing a pack of white wolf. " It's already been a week, but that group of beast still lingering outside this cave. Are they not bored or not have something to do" thought Li Yan. While he is can still avoiding the group of beast in this cave, he know that sooner or later he must get out of here because the food that he carried along with him only had little for him to survive. "the food almost finished. I think it will give me two more days to eat and after that, no more food" thought Li Yan. "This cave must have some hole or place that can be use to escape from this place. let search it rather than dying here".

After a few hours searching for clues to escape from cave but nothing to gain because of the darkness when Li Yan goes deeper into the cave, Li Yan sit down helplessly. "Nothing i can see with this darkness" say Li Yan while rummaging his cloth bag. Then, he pick up the piece of wood that he found last time and want to start a fire with it. So, Li Yan smash the wood to pieces. To his surprise, there is thing that create small light inside the wood. "This thing look fimiliar. Yeah, this is a piece of jade. This jade is crafted is well crafted. Must be belong to someone with high status". Jade, as well as other precious stone is commonly used to identify a person where is he or she belong. A piece of jade signifies that the owner of the jade is belong to a high status family, Sect or powerful organization. Li Yan know this because people in Moon City know that their mayor's, Ji Zey also have a piece of Jade that has been crafted with Baek Valley Sect, a second rate Sect in this country. The possession of the jade signifies that Ji Zey is a member of Baek Valley Sect. "But this jade look different from what the Mayor's own. Just touching and looking at it give me a peaceful and powerful aura. The previous owner must be some powerful person in his life (Li Yan thought that the previous owner is already dead)"."Let pour some Qi into this thing. Maybe it can light brighter so i can search for other exit more easily". To his surprise, after pouring his Qi into the jade, the jade shine brightly than he expected and cause him to faint.

"Urgh..where am i.. am i still inside the cave or already dead?". Li Yan look at the surrounding and nothing can he see. Li Yan surrounding just white and nothingness. "What unlucky am I. After that white wolf, now I am trapped in some unknown place." After walking for a while, Li Yan saw a figure in front of him. "Hey!.. excuse me. Do you know where am I?" The figures talk" What is your name young boy?". Li Yan talk back "Who are you? Why asking question back. Just answer me first and i will answer your question back". The figures laugh at Li Yan after he saying that. This make Li Yan angry. "This is my place. My domain. My world" says the figures. Li Yan now in confusion after hearing the figures answer. Li Yan can help but felt annoyed with the answer. "Now answer me, what your name young boy?". "Why are you want my name. You give answer that i don't understand" said Li Yan. The figure only smile at Li Yan. "You a just young boy in first level Qi Refining. How dare you talk back to your elder" the figures talk a little bit louder to Li Yan. The sound from the figure also came with powerful aura. Li Yan, thrown a few feet because of the powerful auro from the figure sound. Li Yan felt fimiliar aura. "Your energy aura is same with that jade. You are the owner of this jade. That means i am inside your jade" Li Yan said to the figure The figure just give a small smile when Li Yan finally realised where he was.
