The Saturday morning sun rise blinded my eyes as me and my bestfriend Akane walked to school. It was the weekend so not many people would be there but we both had business to attend to. Akane is the top student in school and has grown up to the tittle of students body president. While I attend the schools marshal arts club, both me and my friend Pollux share partner ship of the club. Pollux does all the paperwork for the club and helps with teaching while I focus on creating the work outs to teach the club."Hey Kuro, I don't know why but something feels off to day" I turned to face Akane. "Yeah I feel it to, but I'll probably blow off later" I suddenly felt a shiver down my spine. As we approach the school we ran into Caster vic president of the student council and Pollux's twin brother. He was sitting on the Memorial bench right outside the school gates. When we approached the school gates he stood up and began to speak "it's about time you two got here, Kuro Pollux needs help with the club everyone's there they are just waiting on you, Akame we have five minutes to prepare for the council meeting so let's go". Caster talked so fast it was hard to understand stand him, but as fast as he talks he grabbed Akane by the hand and rushed her into the main building. I giggle then began on the path towards the gym. When I walked into the gym I was greeted by Pollux. "Hey your finaly here, we need to get started soon so go get ready" he gave me a warm smile then ran off to help someone else. I walked over to the girls locker room and went inside. A few minutes later I walked out and over to Pollux. "Ok shall we begin" I said as me and Pollux stood in front of everyone. Like every day everyone stood in lines of five while practicing marshal art moves. Both me and Pollux walk up and down the lines of students to make sure they are doing the moves right. As I made my way down the second row I saw someone facing the wall across the gym. I walked over to the strange person and began to speak "hello can I help you ". The only thing the stranger did was let out a small growl. Then I heard Pollux behind me "excuse me sir can we help you the gym has been reserved for the marshal arts club". By this time everyone was staring at us. Then the man turned around to face us but his skin was almost gray while his eyes were foggy. Then he suddenly lunged at us but Pollux pulled me out of the way. Then three students Aoi and Haru ran over and restrained him. As they restrained him his gaw snapped at them. "What the heck is going on with this guy" yelled Aoi who was holding him down. Then the man turned s bit a chunk out of Haru's arm. He let go of the man and fell to the floor holding his arm and screaming in agony. A few people ran over to Haru to help but then he stopped screaming.

Haru laid lifeless on the floor. Aoi was still trying to hold the man still. By now most of the students were freaking out and running out of the gym. While I ran over to Haru to help him, when I got to him he was laying in a pool of his own blood. I put his arm over my shoulders and picked him up. Then Pollux came over a wrapped his arm then he took Haru from my shoulders to his. Once everyone was I yelled to Aoi "Aoi let him go and run". Aoi quickly pushed the man away from him then ran out the doors. As soon as he was out side me and Pollux locked the gym doors. We rushed over to lay down Haru who was passed out. Pollux placed  him sitting down and linings on the gym's wall. Aoi sat next to Haru and spoke like he was out of breath "what in the world was wrong with that guy, and please tell me Haru is ok". Haru and Aoi have been friends since longer then I can remember. "Aoi don't freak out, do either of you have your phone, we need to call the police" I turned to look down at Aoi and Haru. Suddenly I hear Haru grown and he lifts up his head and looks at Aoi who is looking up at the sky still out of breath. Then Haru lunged at Aoi eating his neck. I ran over grabbed Haru and pulled on him attempting to get him off of Aoi while yelling "OH MY GOD HARU WHAT ARE YOU DOING". Aoi sat there lifeless while him best friend ate him alive. Suddenly I feel Pollux grab me and pull me away from the two boys. "Kuro we need to go now, we can't help them" then Pollux grabbed my hand and we began to run away.

Next thing I knew we were in the schools courtyard. I felt tears began to form in my eyes "Pollux what's going on". Pollux then lifted up his hand a wiped off the tear that was falling from my cheek. "Kuro if anyone can tell us what's going on it's most likely going to be Akane and Caster" I felt a wave of shock go over us. The thought of Akane and Caster without us at a time like this was frightening. "Pollux if Haru started to act like the crazy man after he bit him then that means what ever this is its contagious" I see Pollux's already worried expression fall deeper. Before I finish I hear Pollux finish my words "that means he's not the only one like that, and if he got into the school then there are others". I looked over to the closet door to the main building "and Akane and Caster are unarmed and are incapable of defending their self's". Pollux and I looked at each other and rushed over to the door to the main building slamming it open.

Pollux and I ran down the empty hallway till we make it to the classroom where the student council meeting was. When we approached the room I slammed open the door to find a horrific scene. The chairs looked as if there were thrown around the room and bloody hand prints srowed the walls of the room. Are faces filled with shock at the sight of the room. I suddenly felt my lags slowly give out as I slowly sink to the floor with the tears filling my eyes again. Next thing I know I feel Pollux's warm arms rap around me "Kuro there is no need to worry yet, there body's are not here so for the time being we know there is a high chance they are fine". I wiped the tears from my eyes turned around and hugged Pollux "thanks Pollux you always know how to make things a little better". I stood up and faced away from the room and looked down the empty hall. I noticed small drops of blood lurking down the hallway "if they gotten away then the most likely when down this way, either the person infected is hurt or it's one of them so we need to hurry". Pollux nodded and we began to walk down the hallway following the trial of blood. As we continued down the hall a classroom door opened and someone stumbled out. She stood still in the middle of the hallway only grunting as she stared st us. Pollux then stood in front of me and spoke "hey are you ok, do you have any idea where Akane Hebi and Caster Jirou are". She suddenly began to sprint toward us and as she did she screamed. I stood there frozen in fear till I felt my body more on it's own. I grabbed Pollux's hand then pulled him into a empty classroom then slammed the door and locked it. When the student hit the door the sound of the bang echoed through the halls. I suddenly felt my legs go out and I slowly fall to the ground with my back to the door. I look at Pollux who was in shock. "I've said it already but what the heck is going on" as i look at Pollux I find myself smiling. He gives me a smile back then sits up "well so much for me being your knight in shining armor, I hate to admit it but I really froze up back there". I giggle then feel the fear of what's going on melt off "well sorry to break it to you but this princess doesn't need her knight in shining armor to protect her all the time". We suddenly both burst out laughing almost falling to the floor. "We should probably wait for are monster it the closet to go away before we can start searching again" Pollux smiled as he did his little joke, so who was I to tell him how terrible it was.
