The summer in haicheng was long and hit. The room without an air conditional felt like steamer. Anna use the hand fan for a while, but it was too hot to bear. She opened the door and went outside. when she come to the corner of the living room she heard some noise.

you are already 16 year old why don't you want to go to school? Can you earn your meal with these video games
Anna heard the noise she already knew that his brother must be quarrelling with his mother about not going to school she was about to turn around when she heard her brother saying

Our family is so poor poor. sister will go to university this year. Our financial condition can not afford to pay fees for both of us

What University? your sister will not go to the university .she will be married soon. your father has decided this for her after her marriage our family can enjoy happiness

Anna was stunned . she thought she misheard it. she was only 18 year old . Anna's hand tightly clenched into fist in her mother's eyes, she worth not more than two apartments from childhood her parents always favoured her younger brother she always thought that it was just misunderstanding after on her brother was younger and child naturally leads more attention but now after hearing this conversation for heart become full of angle
just because she was a girl she didn't hold the right to educate herself she was better than her brother but her mother was really biased
Anna found it idle to wait and do nothing her mother wouldn't give her money for admission to the university so decide to borrow it
Anna was standing at the door of cliare Ashley house she didn't control her tears when she thought about the conversation she just had with her mother.
Claire opened the door and saw Anna's face.

Anna what's wrong? why are you crying?
Anna are quickly wiped her tears and went in

oh Anna is here come and sit with me.

Anna it's not that your aunt doesn't want to help you but our financial condition is not stable and I can't help you with this matter.

they walked to the door and saw a boy wearing white T-shirt coming towards them and looked up she thought he was her boyfriend John Peter .why he is here she was confused she was really busy during summer vacation and didn't get the time to contact John Peter but she was happy to see him

she was working at a place for the past two months .that's why she cancel many dates with John she didn't tell him about her because she wanted to keep her dignity in front of John but John was misunderstand her he thought that she in did all this because she didn't want to see him

anna don't cheat John. you told me that you wanted to break up with John

Anna look at Claire innocent face , and her heart suddenly arched. she felt like she never knew Claire she thought about the embarrassment of borrowing money from her family and now deceptive face of Claire

Anna stood still. although it was hot day in September but her heart was feeling extremely cold
chapter 3
after leaving Claires house and took a bus to the suburb of Haicheng.the bus stop in front of villa .Anna got off and walked towards the villa .during her summer vacation she worked at this villa. the owner of this was crippled man anna was servant here for nearly two months and met him twice or thrice
she entered the villa and was about to sweep the floor and clean the table but she heard a loud noise from corner of the stairs
anna was scared. she looked up and saw man lying on the ground and behind him was an overturned wheelchair
Anna hurriedly went up to help him although she just met him few times but when she saw the wheelchair she thought that this man must be the owner of the villa
but as anna come closer to the man he said

sir are you ok?
the man carefully propped his hand on the floor and tries to get back into wheelchair however a pair of weak legs made him fall back to the floor . he hammered his leg hard ; his eyes were filled with disgust
anna can't just stand and watch , regardless of the man's order the She reached out to help him get back to the wheelchair
Daniel only felt of faint fragrance running into tip of his nose . the girls soft hand touch her shoulders and helped him to sit back at the wheelchair. he wanted to get angry but after seeing innocent smile on the girls face his anger suddenly disappear

sir how did you fall?
Daniel and depression shook his head and said nothing
Anna felt that he was very lonely and her heart in inexplicably sour to see that she kept talking with him and told him several jokes to make him happy . Daniel didn't laugh but his eyes were full of tenderness
when jacksmith come he saw such amazing scene . he was returned after Mr Daniels accident he never saw him like this
anna saw jack smith. she knew jack smith use to her wages and now she was afraid that just Jack Smith would think that she is lazy so she immediately continue her work
