It was the first day of school. Mizuki took her warm bath, wore uniform and went to the dining hall along with her roommate Miko. As she sat down, the dining hall was filled cheers and applause as she was the first commoner to get admitted in the prestigious school of the Kingdom. Mizuki was very happy to see this. The headmaster Yamamoto cleared his throat and told everyone to quite down then he started saying that even though Yamamoto orphanage is a very famous orphanage yet no one was able to get admission in the prestigious school but Mizuki has proven everyone wrong as she got admitted in the school, she basically has told everyone that even a commoner can be blessed and can get admission with great effort. Commoners are powerful too. At this Mizuki stood up and said, “so, long and short of what headmaster is trying to say is that all of you can also get admission if you work hard nothing is impossible…. Julica her childhood friend interrupted her by saying that you are going to be late if this behavior of yours keeps going. Everyone laughed at this and Mizuki stuffed her mouth with food and hurried to the school.

On her way to school, she bumped into someone as she was running so she won’t be late. Mizuki stumbled and said,” ah… in pain but quickly said sorry to the person she bumped in. That person had shining yellow hair with deep blue eyes. He stared at her with anger and said,” Are you blind? Can’t you see people on footpath? At this Mizuki replied,” well! I may be blind but you are definitely deaf. Can’t you hear me saying sorry? Stranger: Huh… I’m not deaf. I’m simply saying that you need to walk with eyes open not closed. Mizuki: My eyes are open you are the one who suddenly popped out of nowhere. As I was running, I couldn’t see you standing right at the turn of the street. Stranger: ugh…. Whatever. I will be late because of your nonsense. Mizuki: yeah, right whatever I don’t have time for your nonsense either. Saying this she walked away and after covering some distance she again started to run at a superhuman speed. She barely made to school on time. After the bell rang all new students were assembled in the assembly hall. They were allotted different sections of classes based on their power levels. The higher the power the higher the rank.

Mizuki got into the highest rank class as she was born with immense power. When she entered the class, everyone stared at her with hostility. But Mizuki let it go since she knew that only nobles and royals go this school and she was the first commoner ever who got admission so this was natural for her. She also faced hostility at the entrance exam but soon examiners hostility was transformed into shock. She was used to this hostility to shock transformation too because she was powerful but from an orphanage so people didn’t expect much from her. When she sat down on her seat the door of classroom opened once again revealing familiar yellow hair and deep blue eyes. It was the stranger with whom she bumped in. As soon as the stranger entered the classroom every student stood up with respect but Mizuki remained down.

Stranger’s POV:

As I entered the classroom everyone stood up as expected of them but only one person stayed down. When I looked at that person it was the same person who bumped into me. I went to her desk and asked whether she was going to stand up or not?

Mizuki’ POV:

This stranger walked towards me and asked me whether I was going to stand up or not? I said,” Why should I stand for you? The other girl with purple hair and golden eyes suddenly slammed on the desk and said that how dared I not to show respect to Prince Kei? As I was shocked that this stranger was the prince of the kingdom but still, I said,” so, what if he is? That does not mean I should stand for his royal ***. Everyone is same in the school. There is no social status among students within school grounds. At this the girl said: That’s why commoners don’t get admission in this school. I wonder whom did you bribed to get in this school. I got furious hearing this so I said,” I bribed no one to get admission. I entered on the bases of my own power. Since bribery came into your mind so you must have bribed the examiner. Because as far as I can see that your power level is not that high”. Purple haired girl got flushed with anger and tried to attack me but was stopped by Kei. Kei told her not to fight in class and said that we will soon find out who powerful and who is weak and once the weak one is proven then that person shall be the servant of the winner for one weak. What do you say miss commoner? Its not against school rules and is not connected to any social status. I replied,” I have a name which is Mizuki and I agree with the deal Kei.

Kei: So, deal’s done Mizuki. Oh, and this purple hair-colored women’s name is Lorain.

Mizuki: And my name is Mizuki. I also have something to add in this deal of yours. If I win there will be no social statuses in this class. Everyone will be called by their names and treated the same way as you want to treat yourself. Agreed?

Kei: Agreed. Besides I never wanted to be treated like a prince here so even if you lose this stupid social stuff will be over anyway.

As soon as Kei agreed the door opened again but this time our class in charge Miss Harmony came through the door. She had a really scary aura going around. She the papers in her hand on the table and told us to sit on our seats. Everyone did as she told us to do and she started to take our roll calls. After taking roll calls she told us to get out of the classroom which was quite weird. Everyone was looking towards her direction with confusion.

Miss Harmony: What? Didn’t you all heard me? I said get out. We are going to the Battle arena.

Jones Ross (another class fellow): But it is our first class. Won’t you teach us the basics?

Miss Harmony: Aren’t you all here to become the protectors of this kingdom? I’m going to say this only once. I’m not going to treat you nicely. The training which you all will get in this class will be tough there will be no baby or easy stuff if you can’t take it then you are removed from my class permanently which means you are also removed from this school. Also, those who are unable to keep up with the training will be removed as well. So, get on your feet and start moving towards the arena.

After hearing that we will be removed from the school everyone moved out of the class because it’s obvious no wants to be removed after passing that horrible entry test. When we all reached to the arena Miss Harmony smirked like a devil.

Miss Harmony: Today you all will be battling here with each other and those who are unable to land even a single blow within the limited time of 30 minutes towards the opponent will get zero marks. If someone gets three zeros consecutively will be removed from my class and be demoted to the last rank class which you all know is a class for nobody’s since their position in the military almost nonexistent. So, give your everything to this battle and killing each other is not allowed.

Well! The instructions were pretty scary too especially that demoted to last rank class one.

Kei: Hey! Mizuki lets make this battle be our deals playground. Lorain also agrees with it. Since you both are going to selected as opponents.

Ok. I’m fine with it. The sooner we resolve this matter the better. Our turn is in the last so you will have to wait at least that much. The battle started with Jones vs Porsha. Their battle was quick because Porsha’s ability was to keep people frozen at one place for 60 seconds which was not a lot of time and besides that Jones controlled Earth so even if he was frozen for 60 seconds, he could still move the ground. Battles continued like this and there was one winner after another same was with the losing side. Second last battle began and it was between Kei and Ronesme. Kei’s ability was telekinesis while Ronesme could control Plants. Their battle was quite intense no one was giving up. Kei teleported himself near Ronesme and landed a blow right at Ronesme’s neck to nock her out. But before the blow could reach her neck, she stopped it with a thick veil and wound it around Kei’s hand and tried to smash on the ground but Kei teleported again. This continued for a long time and finally time ended. Since no one was able to land a clear blow at each other so they tied and no one was demoted.

Finally, my turn came. It almost felt like every one was waiting for my and Lorain’s turn. But whatever, since obviously I wasn’t going to back down that easily. I went to the battle ground where Lorain was already waiting for me with a grin on her face. Like that was going to scare me.

Lorain: You will regret the decision you made to enter this school.

Mizuki: we’ll see about that soon who is going to regret their decision.

Bell rang hinting on the beginning of the battle. Lorain’s ability was to control blood. With this she could control blood of any living being. She could stop the flow of blood and also control a person’s body by circling blood in different parts of the body. She could also control the blood lying on the floor. She tried to stop my blood flow but she couldn’t. Since she failed to do her trick so I guess it was my turn to use my ability. Every time I used my ability my eyes would glow. I can control mana around me and can make different shapes out of it with my imagination. When I used my ability, everyone was looking at me with shock the same way the examiners did after I used my ability. I made a claw out of mana and grabbed Lorain from her waist and was about to smash her into the ground but suddenly the bell rang and Miss harmony stopped us by using ability cancelation device.

Miss Harmony: Stoooop. Bell has rung which means my period is over and so is your battle. Since both of weren’t able to land a clear blow on each other either so you both are tied too and can stay in my class. All those students who won are allowed to take my class while those who lose can see the door to the outside. That’s it for today you can go back to your class. Oh! And next teacher will tell you something important regarding your homes since I’m too busy to tell you so listen her closely. Bye.

Lorain: Mizuki because of the bell we couldn’t continue our battle but you were able to lay a hand on me so admit my defeat. I’m your servant for a weak now so you can ask me to do anything.

Mizuki: No, I don’t need you to be my servant. I just want you to know that everyone is equal. There is no social status within school grounds. I’m going. See you in the next class.

Kei: Hey! Lorain why didn’t you used your ability? You could’ve easily defeated her if you had controlled her blood. She wouldn’t have been able to use her ability if you did that.

Lorain: I did used my ability. But for some reason it didn’t work on her. Her mana was pink colored too even though vampire’s who have mana controlling ability show only blue color. Anyway, we are done with that deal so I guess I’ll have to call her according to my own level now. I’m also going to the class.

Kei: (In mind) That girl is not ordinary. Not only her mana is pink but also other vampire’s ability doesn’t work on her. I have to keep an eye on her

Jones: Kei aren’t you going to come to class?

Kei: You go first. I will come after a while.

Kei: (Quickly teleported to the castle and called Carlos his servant) Carlos, I want you to check the history of vampire’s who used mana ability. Carlos: Is there something wrong your highness?

No, it’s nothing I’m just a little curious about their history. Besides I’ve already studied other abilities so I thought may be its time to learn a little about this mana ability. Well, I’m off. I have to go back to the school.

Mizuki’s POV:

I came back to the class along with other students who passed the battle. I was really surprised to see how the number of students reduced from thirty to only ten students. When I was wondering about the students who lost the battle someone approached me. He had red long hair and green eyes.

Hello! Miss Mizuki. My name is Yuki Masaru. It’s a pleasure to be in the same class with you. I watched your battle with Miss Lorain you are quite powerful and your ability is pretty unique too. I have never seen this color of mana.

I’m also delighted to be your classmate. Well! My ability is one of a kind so I guess you can say that its unique. I saw your battle too. Your clone making ability is quite interesting too. I hope that we can be friends in the near future.

Yuki: Yes, I’m sure that we will be great friends in the near future.

Yuki went back to his seat and Kei also came back to the class. Everyone was chatting with on another about their abilities when suddenly the door nocked and a man in his thirty’s came in. He was pretty messed up. His hair was tied in half updo and had some facial hair. He went and sat on the teacher’s chair so I guess he was our teacher. But the weird thing was that he laid his head down on the table and in no time was sleeping. It was an awkward situation. Then another classmate whose name was Flora Jason went to the teacher’s chair and slightly shook the teacher and said,” Umm …. Sir. Were you not supposed to give us some instructions or maybe teach us something? The teacher yawned and pointed towards flora’s chair hinting her to go back. She went back and sat on her chair then the teacher introduced himself.

He said tiredly, “My name is Tsubaki Rei and (he yawned) I’m your ability control teacher. I can see that most of the students are missing which means Miss Harmony again wiped-out half of the class (laughs weirdly). Ahem (clears throat) I was supposed to tell you about your living places. (Someone cuts in)

Sora Kakashi (another classmate with sonic sound wave ability): What do you mean by our living places? We live in our houses just like other vampire students.

Mr. Tsubaki: (Annoyingly throws chalk at Sora) Let me complete my sentence first. Unlike other classes this year first three high rank class students will be staying in dorms. So, there will be no going back to your houses. All of your stuff has already been transferred into your appointed dorms all you have to do is to come here at the table to get your room keys one by one as I call your name. Any questions?

(Sora raises hand but Mr. Tsubaki ignores him and continues) No questions. Thought so. So, let’s begin keys distribution. Yuki Masaru room no 01, Jones Ross room no 02, Sora Kakashi room no 03, Kei Edgar room no 04, Sisi Yuta room no 05, Ronesme Julius room no 06, Mizuki Yamamoto room no 07, Lorain Salama room no 08, Flora Jason room no 09, Soma Mystic room no 10. There you go now everyone has their key. We still have 30 minutes but I’m done for today so you all can go to your rooms or do whatever you want to do. Your other subjects will be taught in the evening. (Mr. Tsubaki walks towards the door but before leaving says) Oh and boys and girl’s dormitory are separated so are the bathing area so I don’t want any unnecessary incidents. That’s it Bye.

Mizuki: I packed my bag and went straight to the dorms to avoid any trouble. But unfortunately, trouble was waiting for me because Kei was standing right at the entrance with no way for someone to go out. So, I politely asked him to move to the side so I can pass but he refused to do that and told me that he is standing there and will move away when he wants to. (In my mind) What does that supposed to mean. How can he say that? Is he out of his mind? (reality) I think you didn’t understand me I’m saying that you need to move aside for a minute so that I can go out then you can stand here again.

Kei: And I’m saying that I’m standing here right now so why don’t you try to go outside when I’m not here.

Mizuki: You know what you are crazy. I pushed him to the side and went out. I mean like what was he thinking. It’s not like he owned that place to stand. For some reason it seems like he is going to stir a lot of trouble for me in the future. Well, whatever I will deal with it. I’m not afraid of him.

Kei: (In mind) How dare she push me to the side? I am a prince. Okay I agree with the fact that I told her there will be no social statuses in class but she can at least show some respect to me I mean I am the next ruler of this kingdom. I guess I will have to teach her a lesson.

Jones: What an interesting girl.

Kei: Yeah! What interesting? She is only flying in air because she defeated Lorain. I will teach her a lesson soon.

Jones: So, you’re going to cause trouble for her. This means my high school life will be interesting.

Kei: Yeah, it will be interesting thanks to her. I’m also going to my room. Bye.

Jones: Bye.
