Book 1: The Human Becomes a Demon
***
"Yo, what's up, whoever you are." A young handsome man waved his hands around.
He was currently facing a random direction.
Looking around, no living being was in sight. The land was barren. Even a single blow of air wasn't existent.
"So you might be watching a movie. Or maybe reading a book. Anyways, what I'm doing right now is the so-called legendary 4th wall breaking." This young man laughed.
He swept his eyes in the surrounding and sighed in relief. "Actually, I looked like an idiot talking to myself. Luckily no one is here to criticize me saying I'm crazy."
"Moving on, you might be wondering why I'm talking to myself." A mysterious air surround him as he charmingly smiled at a random angle. Hoping he was breaking the 4th wall properly.
The young man raised his three fingers in front of him. "There are three reasons!"
"First reason is that I'm currently stuck at this random dimension without no one to talk to. So being the intelligent individual I am, I tried talking to you, whoever you are, to cope with my loneliness. Even if there is a slight possibility that I'm really just talking to myself." This young man lazily yawn.
"Second reason is that the smartest man in the whole wide multiverse told me that I'm only living in a world where my fate is decided by someone. And that someone is the so-called 'Wordsmith'. 'Wordsmith' is the one dictating what will happen in this world. And this son of a btch only created this multiverse for him or her to enjoy. That smart pants also mentioned that the multiverse we are living in is a movie or a book made to be watch or read. Personally, I hate this 'Wordsmith'." He raised a middle finger in the air.
"And last reason is..."
Suddenly a transformation took place on the young man.
Wings started coming out from his back. His originally long black hair turned white. His pitch black eyes changed color. The left eye turned blazing red while his right eye turned shining gold.
"To tell you a tale about how I become the strongest being alive!" He arrogantly declared!
However, his facial expression contorted.
'Sht. The strongest being alive? Who is currently stuck in a random dimension? Now that's embarrassing.'
Little did he know, even his own thoughts were like an open page to us.
"So...Where will I begin...? Ah ha! It it all started when I was seventeen..."
[Author's Note: Some of you might think that some characters are aware they are some sort of protagonist in a book or movie. But sorry Earthlings, this sort of mindset will only appear in the later part of the story (Estimated chapter is around chapter 500 :p). So this will be the only 4th wall breaking scene for a while. And this scene will not be the ending of the story.]

"When will this stupid class be over?" Liam sighed. Its his last class for today and he wasn't in the mood to listen.
The professor noticed him looking at the sky and irritatedly yelled at him. "Mr. Abad, are you listening?"
Liam ignored him. He looked at his watch and realized that this class was officially over. He grabbed his bag and stood up. He slowly walked towards the door and left the class.
The professor angrily gripped his pen and walked back to his desk. "Class dismiss." He gritted while gathering his belongings.
"Goodbye and thank you, Sir. Vasquez!" The rest of the class bid their farewell albeit low-spiritedly.
A short and cute girl hurriedly ran out of the room. She looked around and was obviously looking for someone. The hallway was currently packed to the brim. But she quickly smiled when he saw a familiar messy-haired youth. She sprinted past other students and quickly reach her target.
Just as she was about to reach out to him, the boy turned over.
"What's with the rush, Nath?" the boy smirked.
"Idiot, I'm obviously looking for you. You disrespectfully left the room. Mr. Vasquez might reduce your grades if you continued being rude at him." Nath explained.
Liam laughed. After a while, he stopped and looked at the girl "Nath..."
"Yes?" Nath tilted her head.
"Reduce my grades? Who cares. Let him do what he want." He waved his hands without much concern.
"Fine, fine. Let's just walk together home." Nathalie gave up.
"Pass. I have to get something important. You go ahead."
"Damn. You owe me one." Nathalie raised her arms and waved goodbye.
"Adios, amigo!" Liam smiled.
"Idiot. It's amiga." Nathalie turned around for a second and smirk.
Liam laughed then continued walking to the exit gate. The school was big but its interior and exterior were the same as other ordinary schools out there.
Liam was currently in senior high. Once a hot-blooded youth who loves to seek thrill until he got bored. What he only wanted was a change of environment. An environment where he will never ever get bored.
You can say his greatest fear was being bored to death.
When he was outside the campus, he looked at his watch and sighed. "Fck me, it's almost 6 pm."
"And I have to do the shopping today. I hope the supermarket is not yet closed."
He hailed a vehicle and told the driver where he wanted to go.
"Sir, place take me to the nearest supermarket"
The driver nodded and smiled. This man seemed polite, unlike other passengers who acted sassily. To drivers like them, it was quite refreshing to attend to customers who were not arrogant.
Liam might look like an asshole but he only disrespected those who don't deserve his respect. That's why although he swears and curses a lot, he still looked respectful to others. Especially to people who he doesn't know. After all, first impression lasts.
After 10 minutes pass, the vehicle stopped.
"We're here kiddo." The driver smiled.
"Thanks a lot, sir." He smiled back and gave an appropriate amount to the driver.
When the vehicle left, he entered the supermarket peacefully. Luckily it's almost closing time so the people were not that crowded.

After half an hour, Liam emerged with a lot of bags full of all sorts of things. Vegetables, fruits, and many more.
"Ah shit, too heavy. Too heavy!" He grumbled.
He looked around and signaled another tricycle for aid.
"Oh kiddo, what a coincidence. It's you again." the old driver laughed.
Liam wasn't that surprised. Something seems off but the bags were so heavy that he dismissed the thought.
"Lucky. Thanks. Please take me to Molave Street."
"Hop on. Need help?" The old driver prepared to help him when Liam raised his arms.
"No need sir. I can handle this."
"Your choice kiddo."
He dropped the bags and entered the tricycle.
For some reason, the road to home mystically took longer. Liam was about to doze off when his ride stopped.
"We're here kid." The old driver creepily smiled.
Nial didn't notice the old man's smile but he lazily left the tricycle when he noticed something off.
"Uhm, sir. We're not there yet. It's still a couple of blocks ahead." Liam complained.
But no one replied.
'Is this old man deaf?' He turned around and blinked.
"What the fck?" The tricycle was nowhere at sight.
"That old man left without even dropping me at the right place. Well, at least he forgot the pay hehe." Liam snickered.
He decided to walk home. It's not that far actually. Just a two-minute walk and he'll be there.
"Hmmm?"
Liam noticed something strange. The neighborhood was strangely quiet.
Too quiet...
The bewildered kid looked around. Even a single hint of life vanished.
"Eh? What's wrong today? Did they sleep early? For what reason though?" He started talking aloud to himself.
"Nevermind, I just want to sleep as soon as possi-"
But before he could finish what he was about to say, an enormous bird-like figure suddenly flew above him.
*Whoooosh!*
"Eh?" He looked back and another huge bird flew right above him.
*Whoooosh!*
"Eh?!" He exclaimed again excitedly.
Then what he saw next almost made his eyes popped.
An angelic handsome blonde male with shining blue eyes appeared in the sky. An eye-catching halo was floating above his head. While four pairs of white wings were flapping heavily in the air. He was also carrying two well engraved long swords in both of his hands.
"Youngest son of Morningstar. Today shall be your end!"
Its voice was so soothing to the ears while executing authority beyond imagination.
"HAHAHAHAHA"
An abnormally demonic man was standing on both of his feet. His blazing red eyes and his goat horns in his head were so striking. His four pairs of ink-black wings were folded in a cool fashion. He lazily wielded a dragon spear on both his hands while his long black hair fluttered in the air.
"Sisyphus, you poor blighter. Blabbering nonsense on the day of your death."
"Spiteful creature!" Sisyphus snarled. He rushed at blinding speed at his foe and brandished his twin sword.
A golden ray of lights headed to the demonic being's body.
But the devil simply smirked nonchalantly and slashed his dragon spear.
An image of a skeletal dragon appeared and swallowed the golden rays of light. But it simply didn't stop there and continued rushing towards the angel.
Sisyphus rushed head-on. No signs of fear were etched on his face, only pure confidence.
He easily destroyed the skeletal dragon image and looked down below. His aura was so holy that even Liam had the urge to prostrate in awe.
They continued their exchange for a while until both their clothes were tattered.
"Arghh!" Sisyphus suddenly shouted.
Veins started appearing in his body and his swords started combining. It surprisingly became one and a blinding light shined in the entire street.
"I'm fcked up!" Liam saw this and started running for his life. He was observing from a far place earlier. But now sensing this immense show of power, Liam heard countless signals in his brain telling him to flee for his pitiful life.
"Is it a Villain? But it's my first time seeing an Angel Hero. Damn, I better get far away as possible. For god's sake, I don't wanna die yet!" Liam thought.
"Oh?" Azrael laughed loudly.
"You're really bent on killing me huh, Sisyphus? Nevertheless, you won't and will never defeat me!" The demon oozed killing intent and enormous pride!
He gripped his spear with both of his hands and took a step back. He bent his knees and prepared to ****** his mystical spear. It was an awkward position but this was the ideal spot for great firepower.
Sisyphus did the same. They both charged up every last bit of their power for this clash.
Liam saw all of this and gulped. Judging from the lights and the power that was emitting from both of them, those two will destroy the whole city in the process. Even he can't get away from this situation.
"I'm still young to die." Liam sobbed exaggeratedly. After a while, he stood up and laughed crazily.
"Since I'm gonna die anyway, it'll be better to spectate this amazing battle with my own eyes." He smiled and opened his eyes wide, afraid he'll miss a single scene.
"Holy Symphony!" Sisyphus shouted while swinging his combined swords downwards.
A huge vortex of both blue and gold appeared. It shallowed everything on its way. Looking at it Liam thought of only one thing.
"Cool!" He raised his fist. He was rooting for the Angel to win. Even a child will know who was wrong and who was right. It might sound stereotypical but that was just how the human mind worked.
"Death's Parade!" The demon ****** his spear and a whole image of a skeletal dragon appeared.
Unlike earlier, this dragon released a death aura everywhere. The pathways were melted and all plants and living things in its surrounding immediately vanished.
The dragon and the vortex clashed. All the houses shattered and a huge crater appeared below it. But that's not all.
The sky literally started cracking. The night became darker. Everything was silent. The only thing that Liam can hear were the noises coming from both adversaries' attacks.
Finally, it stopped.
Liam slowly opened his eyes. Miraculously, when he opened his eyes, an invisible barrier protected him from the aftershocks and debris. It was not visible but seeing the debris bounce away from a certain distance from him, he deciphered that it was a barrier.
"Fck yeah! I'm alive!" He joyously laughed.
But he immediately stopped, he looked around and didn't saw the two combatants.
He started walking towards where he last saw the two but couldn't find them. But just as he was about to leave the area, he heard two thumping sounds.
*Thump!*
Two mutilated bodies dropped from the sky. Both their wings were shattered. The demon's horn was also broken. Even the angel's halo was starting to lose luster.
They both looked up and saw Liam.
"A human?" The two exclaimed at the same time.
But they shook their heads. That was impossible. No human can enter the realm of angels and demons.
But the demon smiled. He couldn't let go of this opportunity. His gut was telling him that this human can certainly see them. He whispered some runic words and after that looked at Liam.
"Child, kill this man and I shall give you everything you desire. Money, love, women, and authority!" The demon proposed.
Sisyphus laughed. "Have you gone senile Azrael? No human can see us."
But his smiled immediately vanished when he heard what Liam said.
"Everything? Like everything?" Liam confirmed.
Sisyphus almost spat blood. But he immediately snapped out of it and begged Liam.
"Child, he's a demon! A demon I say! Help him and Earth whom we've been protecting for a long time will be destroyed!"
"Fair enough. You're obviously the good guy here. You're an Angel!" Liam showed a sincere smile.
Liam looked around and saw a broken blade. He picked it up and went to where the two were.
He smiled and pointed the blade in the Azrael's body. "I haven't killed someone so I might not kill you on the spot. Sorry for this. Wish me luck!"
He didn't hesitate and stabbed the demon's back with full force. Still, it wasn't dead yet.
"Wait no! Wait you've been tri-"
But Liam already stabbed it again and the demon finally stopped breathing.
He looked at Sisyphus and smiled while cover in blood. "All done Sir Angel!"
But Sisyphus smiled creepily and spoke in a different voice. "Oh, poor Sisyphus. An archangel who died at the hands of a mere human. What a laughing stock you'll be in the whole history HAHAHA."
"Pardon?" Liam thought he misheard the angel.
But he soon understands what he meant when Sisyphus' face suddenly morphed into another one. And grimly, it was Azrael's
Three words popped up in Liam's head
"I f*cked up"
Azrael slowly stood up. He spat blood in the process. The pain he was feeling now was beyond what a normal being could endure.
"Child, thank you for killing him for me. Just as I promise, what do you desire?" Azrael smiled sincerely although his blazing red eyes were horrifying to look at.
'What I desire?' Liam thought to himself.
"You said earlier that you'll grant anything right?" Liam instantly forgot that he just killed an angel after hearing the demon.
Earlier he can't say that he wasn't tempted by the offer earlier. It's just that Liam was not inherently selfish. Sisyphus, the angel whom he killed, even said that the world might end because of his death.
But now, since the deed was done he has no choice but to accept reality. At the least, he will still get something in return.
"Yes. Everything." The demon confirmed.
"Are you sure?" Liam asked once more.
"Yes, child. Everything."
"Are you really really sure?"
Azrael started getting impatient. "Yes!"
"My soul is the price, right?"
"Yes human. Your soul is the pri-" The demon stopped.
"F*ck you! I knew it. You assh*le!" Liam complained and continued cursing Azrael.
He wasn't an idiot. He watched countless anime and movies, read a lot of novels with similar troupes. How could he fall for this simple trick?
Azrael was ashen. He couldn't believe a human tricked him.
Indeed it was true. Granting a wish cost the soul of the one who wished itself. Which in turn makes the demon more powerful. And the human who sold his soul will turn into a lesser demon in hell after death. He would vanish himself from the wheel of samsara and will be a lesser demon forever.
In the course of human history. Billions of people have already sold their souls to the devil. And this has upset the balance of angels and demons resulting in an infinite holy war since then.
"Listen, child, as long as I don't die your soul will be in my possession. And you'll get what you wished until your last breath." Azrael persuaded Liam.
It's been too long since he talked to a human. Hundred of years to be exact.
Summoning a demon will depend on the willpower of the summoner, how strong the desire, and samsara points a human possessed.
Samsara points were points that a single soul has accumulated over time. If they were famous or contributed a lot to the world in their past lives, then their samsara points will be larger as well.
And only one human has summoned the Archdemon Azrael Morningstar, youngest son of Lucifer himself. And now a soul has presented itself in front of him.
Liam thought about it. He knows Azrael still kept some secrets but he thought of a great idea. But first, he needed to confirm it. He couldn't help but snicker.
"Fine, fine. But first, can I ask a question?"
"Sure. Keep it short, child." Azrael put his guard up. He must not get tricked once more.
"Can I wish to make the president of the United States follow all my orders and only listen to me?" Liam asked innocently.
Azrael thought for a while. Is there a meaning behind his words? He shook his head and dismiss the thought. What could a 17-year-old boy do to tricked a thousand-year-old being? Earlier was just a fluke, a slipped of a tongue.
"Yes, I can grant you that. Is that your wish?"
"Great! But that's not what I desire." Liam innocently said.
"Interesting. Then what do you desire?" Azrael was also pretty curious about what this little boy might wish.
"It's pretty simple. But don't get mad at me, ok? You might not like it." Liam sincerely reminded him.
Azrael laughed. "I'm an Archdemon. The symbol of madness and evil itself. There's nothing in this world that I hate except God and his slaves, the angels."
Liam sighed in relief. "That's reassuring. Ok, ok, here's my wish."
Azrael smiled and linked his heart to Liam's soul. After Liam declared his wish, it will be granted immediately.
Liam felt chains locking up his insides. This was uncomfortable but he felt that this was Azrael's signal for him to wish.
"I want you, Azrael Morningstar, to follow all my orders forever." Liam grin wickedly.
Azrael's smile vanished. It was replaced by a twisted face and he immediately charged at Liam, but his speed and power were greatly reduced because of the damage he accumulated.
Liam easily dodged his attacks and spoke once more.
"Azrael, I order you to kneel before me." Liam laughed.
"You dare human?!"
He refused to bow in front of a human. He would rather be dead rather than following this son of an arse. Thinking about how Sisyphus was killed, he couldn't help but felt jealous of him.
"I said bow!" Liam shouted.
Azrael's body started moving on its own and because he already linked his heart to Liam's soul, not fulfilling his wish was equal to breaching a contract. And that means punishment. Azrael's heart beat rapidly and a zap of lightning electrocuted his body. If he didn't follow Liam's order then his soul will be extinguished.
Azrael prepared his mind. He was willing to die.
'Forgive me, father and mother. Forgive me, sister. But today will be the day I'll die. I'm sorry, I'll rather die than be a slave to a mere human.'
Azrael's body started burning. He started convulsing and bleeding everywhere.
'This motherfcker is more stubborn than I thought. Well, I understand his pride.'
"Hey\, d*ckhead. You'll only serve me for 70 years at most. I might die at that age. Or I might die much earlier than that. Believe me\, I won't treat you like a dog or some sh*t. You can commit suicide if I really did order you to eat dog poo\, which I won't. Probably." Liam consoled him.
Azrael almost spat blood. Probably? Are you fcking kidding me?!
"Oh, dear. I bet 70 years is only a fraction of a second to you considering the fact that you live for eternity. You might even be thousands of years old or something. Plus, my soul is in your hand. You can do everything you want to me after I die. Your life is not worth my life. Come, I'll just commit some interesting things before I turn old."
Azrael finally realized. 'That's right. My life is not worth this worm's life. It's only 70 years. After that, I can torture him for eternity for what he's done. You'll be my plaything until you beg for forgiveness.' Azrael's filthy heart finally blazed once more. His red eyes showed courage and vengeance and finally kneeled in front of Liam. Although a bit grumpy.
'What a tsundere.' Liam laughed inwardly. 'Now this confirms three things. The first is that this old man lives for thousands of years. Second is that he possessed a lot of knowledge. The fact that he's a supernatural being and the fact that he is ancient and probably knows more than any other human. Third is that he'll probably torture my soul after my death judging from the way this old man looks at me.'
"Wonderful. Now that's the spirit. Oh, by the way, you probably killed thousands of people. How can you get away with it?" Liam was also quite curious about this.
"This is merely another reality existing in your reality. There was no human harmed in the battle. That was the only condition in this holy war. Angels and Demons are prohibited from hurting and killing humans."
Liam pieced out the information and added it to his knowledge.
'Interesting. Holy war? Now life is finally more exciting!'
"How can we exit this reality?" Liam asked.
"You don't know?" Azrael was flabbergasted.
"Of course not. That's impossible." Liam crossed his arms.
"Then how did you entered this reality then? And how can you see us?" Azrael didn't believe what this boy was saying.
"Dunno. Dunno."
Azrael stared blankly at him.
"Fine then. Let's get out of here and go to the real reality." Azrael proposed.
"Hmm. Then how would you hide yourself amid all human beings?" Liam questioned.
"Don't worry brat. No human can see spirits, holy and demonic beings. You're only special." Azrael confirmed.
"Understood. Well then, let's go. I also want to experience flying."
Liam expected to be carried on Azrael's back. So he eagerly jumped behind the demon. He was surprised that Azrael was pretty well built. His back was rock solid. He curiously touched his wings and it felt soft. Contradicting to its ink-black color.
"What the f*ck, child?" Azrael was furious and shook his body. In which, Liam fell off.
"Eh?" Liam blinked.
Azrael didn't reply and muttered some strange words. After a while, a strange black fog covered Liam out of nowhere.
"Hold tight. Here we go."
Azrael flapped his wings and ascended. Liam, who was surrounded by the black smoke floated beside him.
Just as they were about to reach a thousand feet in the sky, they break the fake reality and finally appeared in the airspace of the real reality.
Liam saw ant-like humans walking in the streets. The car, buildings, and structures look small in this view. He couldn't help but smile. This experience was unique and amazing.
'So this is how God and the Angels look at us'
Liam already accepted the fact that God and Satan exist just from the fact that he saw an Angel and a Demon.
"Let's go to my house," Liam ordered. He pointed directions until they finally landed in front of Liam's house.
On the way, Liam made Azrael do a simple spell. He asked the demon if he could do such a thing and Azrael denied it at first but he only said 8 words and Azrael easily spilled the truth.
"I order you to tell me the truth."
Demons do possess superhuman abilities and magic. But Azrael didn't explain his powers more thoroughly.
He then ordered Azrael to cast an invisible spell for him. This way, no one would look at the sky and scream, "A boy is falling in the sky!"
Liam landed safely on the ground. His house was just in front of him.
It was when Liam remembered something really important.
"Oh, sht!"
And that's also when Azrael remembered something really important.
"Oh, sht!"
"The fcking groceries!" Liam knelt on the ground crying.
"Sisyphus' fcking weapon! I forgot to take it!" Azrael similarly knelt in the ground grieving.
"Hey, can you also make something appear in thin air?" Liam suddenly stood up and grin. He rubbed his hands hoping for a positive response. But what Azrael said next broke his fragile heart to pieces.
"You're talking about your groceries, right? Unfortunately, I can't make something edible appear in thin air. But we can teleport to where you bought those." Azrael explained
"Edible? That can vary from person to person." Liam looked at him suspiciously.
"Edible in a normal human standards." Azrael rolled his eyes.
"Oh by the way, can we return back to the alternate reality? I forgot to take something really important." The demon added.
'Teleport?' Liam looked at his watch and happily exclaimed. "Lucky! It's still 7:26. The supermarket will close exactly at 8. We still have time. Azrael, let's go!"
"Understood." Azrael walked forward and touched Liam's head.
"What the fck. Are you gay?" Liam shoved Azrael's hand and backed away. He was still a little wary. After all, this demon was insanely powerful. He was affected because of it subconsciously.
"You little sht! Imagine where the supermarket is so we can teleport. I can't just teleport to a place I have never been before!" Azrael gritted his teeth.
"Oh, makes sense. I thought for a second that my cute little slave was gay."
'Oh, how I wish I could tear you into pieces!' Azrael clenched his fist and controlled his rage. After a second he touched Liam's head once more.
Liam envisioned the supermarket while Azrael chanted some weird and ancient words.
"Gung en sung dung"
Suddenly the two appeared in front of the supermarket. There were a few people and luckily no one noticed Liam.
That's because Liam's invisibility spell was still active.
They both entered the market and went to the bathroom first. They checked their surroundings before Azrael undo the spell. They exit the bathroom as if it was normal and nothing was wrong.
Azrael has been on Earth for a hundred years now. That's because of his mission to steal Sisyphus' holy weapon and kill him if there's a chance. But now that he forgot to take it, he needed to return to that exact reality to retrieve it.
He didn't need to rush. Only a few angels and demons roam Earth. Most of them were either in heaven or in hell. And it's impossible for an angel or demon to go to the exact spot where the battle begun and accidentally pick up the fragments of Sisyphus' weapon.
Liam tapped his pockets and once more couldn't help but curse out loud.
"For Pete's sake!"
Azrael who was silently floating in his side was startled.
"What's wrong, boy?"
"My wallet. Geez, I have some important things there." He scratched his head. Then he looked at Azrael with his puppy eyes and held his arms.
"Can you do your magic thingy and bring back my wallet. You said earlier that you can make things appear as long as they're not edible, right?"
Just as Liam finished talking, a little boy suddenly laughed.
"Mother, look at that big bro. He's talking to himself. Isn't he an idiot?" The boy laughed.
The mother gripped her son's hand and walked away while whispering, "Don't talk badly to somebody else. But your right, he might have some problems with his head."
In which Liam heard them clear as day.
"Hey, can you make them 'accidentally' trip?"
"No. " Azrael immediately denied.
"That's great. I order you to make them tripped. Also, make sure that the boy's lollipop will crumble to pieces." Liam blankly said.
Azrael couldn't help but laugh at Liam's action.
"Humans are really petty."
Liam got pissed off by that comment and stomped his foot.
"Just do it, will you?" He sarcastically said.
Azrael finally snapped his fingers and the mother and son tripped.
Liam laughed. He made sure that the two can hear his laugh.
The little boy started crying and the mother looked in Liam's direction and glared. After that, she comforted her son and went on their way.
"Also I forgot. Can you make yourself just visible for people to see? I look like an idiot talking to myself." Liam suddenly spoke.
"..."
Azrael hesitated.
"You can use somebody's face. Doesn't matter as long as your here on my side."
"..."
Azrael was still hesitant.
"Or you can just turn into a puppy with a leash." Liam smiled.
"As you wish, boy. I'll make myself visible." Azrael sincerely replied.
They both went to the bathroom once more and Azrael morphed into a human. His wings and horn disappeared. His previous bloodied clothes turn into a well-tailored shirt. His previous purplish skin turned white. From a demon, he became a handsome human.
"Hmmm." Liam looked at Azrael and rubbed his chin.
"Too flashy. Can you just make yourself into an ugly fat man? You're too eye-catching."
Azrael frowned.
"Fine fine. If that's what you like." Liam couldn't afford to abuse this demon too much. He might just really commit suicide right on the spot.
"Oh before I forgot. My wallet, can you make it appear?"
Azrael thought about it. Since this child didn't force him to look like an ugly bastard, he accepted.
"Just like earlier. Picture your wallet in your mind." Azrael reminded and touched Liam's head.
Liam imagined his wallet and its content. 'So I have a black leather wallet. My credit card, coupons, business cards, and 200 dollars. No I mean, 2,000 dollars.'
Azrael chanted once more.
"Nam da si ta na"
Suddenly, a similar wallet that Liam has appeared. The only difference was that this wallet was bulging.
"It worked! Just like what I imagine. Easy 2,000 dollars" Liam proudly laughed.
Now that he has money, he began shopping once more. But he picked up more products than usual. He bought more food for himself and other beverages. And since the money he currently has was big, he didn't hold back and purchased expensive wine and beer.
Normally, the cashier will check his ID. But with Azrael beside him who looked like an adult, the cashier didn't probe too much.
Finally, they entered the bathroom once more. They both carried a lot of grocery bags. Liam couldn't endure anymore and drop these baggage.
"Azrael, teleport all of these to our house. And about that thing you forgot, could you just get it for yourself and return as fast as possible?"
"Sure thing. Bringing you would be a hassle."
Azrael was finally relieved.
They teleported just like last time and appeared in front of Liam's house.
"Goodbye. Be back as fast as possible, ok? I still have some wishes you need to fulfill." Liam snickered.
Azrael grumbly turn back into his real form and flapped his ink-black wings.
While Liam carried all the stuff back into the house.
"Dang! I should have let Azrael help me here first before I let him go. How I regretted that." Liam teared up.
He rang the doorbell and loudly shouted.
"I'm already here mom!"
The door opened and a beautiful middle-aged woman appeared in front of Liam.
"Where have you been mister? It's already 8 pm." Liam's mom stared daggers at him.
Liam sweated and quickly came up with a lie.
"We had arnis training and my body hurts ma." Liam acted like he was really tired and even yawned to show that he was sleepy.
"Plus you even made me carry these bags. I'm exhausted now." He exaggerated more.
But it worked. His mom felt guilty and helped him pick up all the bags. She already prepared dinner and the two ate silently.
Liam finished his food quickly and went upstairs. He locked the door and jumped in bed.
"So exhausting..."
Liam didn't entirely lie though. He was really tired mentally. All those things he experienced were too much for a 17-year-old boy.
"I wanted to experiment more with my wishing machine but I'm so sleepy. I'll guess we'll just continue tomorrow. Hopes he's already here when I woke up."
He slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep.
