"I remember being the happiest person when I got hit by a car. Sounds crazy. But that’s because you were by my side." Sama was eating her breakfast while thinking about this.

“Sama are you done eating your breakfast” her friend Aria shouted as they are going to be late for the first day of their college

“Yes” she replied.

Sama and Aria are friends since their primary school. Now they are attending the same College.

Sama is an introvert and shy girl, but only to strangers. Once she trusts someone she will show her sweet, funny and caring side to them.

Aria can easily make friends with anyone. She trusts everyone she meets. This brings them a lot of troubles.

Sama was extremely afraid of her new college . Not because of the college but because of the people she’s going to meet.

While Aria was extremely excited.

They took bus to the college.

Sama was thinking this all the way “what if someone talks to me. How should I respond to them. What if my voice crack while talking.” Sama was always disappointed with herself about her social anxiety. She tried to change herself and make friends with someone. But it didn’t work. Eventually Sama accepted herself and became silent .

They reached college.

They had some unfinished admission work.

They completed their work and went to find their classroom.

First day of their school completed like that.

They returned to their dorms after classes.

They met their new roommates Bette and Shiza who helped them in the college with their paper work.

Bette and Shiza joined college one week before Sama and Aria.

Due to some water leakage problem in their room Bette and Shiza changed their room to another room that is Sama and Aria’s room.

And they became room mates like that.

They tidied their room and unpacked their luggage helping each other.

As they get to know each other Bette and Sama got close in no time. Four of them became good friends.

Sama was happy to have friends like Bette and Shiza.

They had their dinner together and went for a small walk.

Bette is funny type while Shiza was strict and prayerful.

“Life will be better with good friends”

Sama was happy about that. They returned to their dorms after a walk.

Sama can’t sleep in the new place. So she decided to sit in the balcony for some time.

Aria came and sat with Sama.

They talked about their college and new friends.

Sama always thinks that Aria will be bored being with her as Aria was a cheerful girl .

But Aria loves Sama so much because Sama was their for Aria in her weakest points.

Sama always comforts Aria when she was sad.

Sama’s words mean so much to Aria.

Same goes with Sama but she can’t express it because of her social anxiety. She’s not good with sweet talk.

But funny some times.

Sama was happy with her new friends and new college. They were going to college, attending classes, eating in canteen, and coming to dorm.

Life was very normal. And the days are like repeating the same thing everyday. Like the life is going in circles.

On the weekend they decided to make a trip to beach. They are very excited and getting ready to go to beach.

“whaa, finally the weekend is here” said Bette

“yeah, I am so excited” said Aria matching up with Bette’s energy.

They are all set to go to the beach.

They took a taxi to the beach singing and laughing all the way. And finally the beach.

They were splashing water on each other and enjoying to their heart’s content.

As they were tired of playing for a long time , they decided to take a break and sit under the sun.

Sama was enjoying the sunlight while her friends went to buy some drinks. Sama’s phone brightened up with a sound ding. Sama checked her phone.

“Hi Sama”

reading this simple text she blushed and her heart skipped a beat. Her hands were trembling. Her mind went blank. She’s not sure about replying to the text.

She gathered her courage after thinking for a while and replied to the text

“Hi Smayan”

Even though they didn’t really talked to each other in the past but they knew each other.

So they didn’t bother to introduce themselves.

“ how did you get my contact information” Sama asked.

“It was your cousin who gave me” he replied.

Sama was very happy that she’s finally talking with Smayan.

Sama’s mood has changed. She was all exited and happy for even for the small things.

“Why are you so happy all of a sudden” Aria asked.

“ Nothing, I just like it here” she replied.

After some time they returned to the beach resort where they made their reservations.

In the evening they went out to have dinner. They decided to taste some street food in local areas.

They enjoyed the food and walked for a while in the streets.

When they are about to return to their rooms the fireworks started.

They are amazed to see the beautiful sparkling fireworks alongside the sea.

Sama’s phone buzzed.

It was Smayan’s text.

Sama felt like the fireworks are sparkling in her heart.

She opened the message.

At the very next moment the tears rolled down her cheeks and her eyes were all teary that she cannot see the sparkling fireworks anymore.

She ran into her room.

“Sama, finally I confessed my feelings to the one I love . I don’t know why but I feel like sharing this with you” Smayan’s text.

This made Sama heart broken.

The happiness she felt in the afternoon didn’t last for a long time.

“ Oh, congrats. I am so happy for you”. She replied with a sharp pain in her heart while her tears are rolling down her cheeks.

Sama was looking outside through a window.

She witnessed an accident. She rushed out to help the victims.

By the time she reached she heard a terrifying voice saying

“Having fun messing with humans ”

She was startled.

The man was seriously injured and the blood was flowing from his wounds.

She was very angry at the man and shouted

“ what are you doing, quickly call the ambulance.”

Saying that, Sama took her scarf and wrapped it around the injured man head trying to stop the blood flow.

The man with terrifying voice was shocked and started to think about something.

The injured man took this opportunity to escape.

His hands turned black and nails grew. He injured Sama’s hands with his nails. When Sama took her hands off his head he turned into a crow and started flying.

The man took out his sword and followed the crow. But it escaped.

He came back to Sama, making eye contact with her and said

“ go back to your room and sleep”.

Sama was wide awakened and shocked to see herself in her room surrounded by her friends.

Her friends are all worried about her and asked what happened to her.

“You ran into room last night. When we came here to check up on you, you were asleep. What happened?” Aria asked.

Sama was startled by hearing this.

She’s not sure about what happened, so she kept silent about things.

And replied “ Nothing, just tired and wanted to sleep”.

Sama went to wash her face. When she took water into her hands she noticed the scar on her hand

When she tried to touch, it disappeared.

She was very frightened about all this.

All her memory about last night was fading. She’s not sure about what really happened.

But she felt familiar with the man.

She kept thinking about last night, but all she can remember is some blurry images.

*”What happened last night. Who is that man. Do I know him? I do know him. I think we met before. But who is he?”*

Sama can’t figure out what it is.

Everyone is getting ready for the shopping as they planned.

They bought what they want. And had their lunch outside.

Shiza wanted to buy some medicine. So they went to pharmacy. Sama and Aria are waiting outside .

Sama saw a man passing by. She had that same familiar feeling.

She asked Aria “ Do you know him”

“Who” Aria questioned.

“The one with hair tied” Sama said.

“Who are you talking about, I can’t see any man with tied hair”. Aria replied.

Pointing to him Sama said “He’s the one” and turned to Aria.

“I can’t see anyone there" Aria said.

When Sama looked he was not their.

She thought may be Aria didn’t see him because he was just walking very fast.

Shiza and Bette came after buying what they want. They returned to the resort and decided to go back to their college in the afternoon.
