...TW mentions of self-harm...
Ever since he was young, Kirishima would get small cuts and bruises all over his body. His parents became ceoncerned about this, but he claimed to not be in pain so they eventually dropped it. My soulmate must get hurt a lot Kirishima thought.
Years later he got his scar on his eye and became almost excited about it, because this meant that only his soulmate would have the exact same scar. Kirishima tended to feel a slight burn in his hands quite often, and eventually started to worry if his soulmate was okay.
By the time he got to high school, Kirishima still hadn’t met anyone with his scar. He began to think he’d never meet his soulmate. That is until he met a certain blonde haired boy, Katsuki Bakugou.
Bakugou had never really cared for his soulmate, so when he saw a scar appear on his face he learned how to cover it with makeup. One day, during training, the makeup wore off and Kirishima saw that they had the same scar. He didn’t tell Bakugou, though. He figured that there was no way Bakugou wanted to be with Kirishima.
When Bakugou saw that Kirishima had the same scar, he thought it was just a coincidence. As they became closer and closer, Bakugou started hoping that it wasn’t just coincidence and that Kirishima really was his soulmate.
After a while Bakugou decided to stop covering the scar, hoping that Kirishima would notice but it didn’t seem like he did.
One day, Bakugou was studying and he noticed small lines appearing on his wrist. What the hell? He thought, until he realized. He practically sprinted to Kirishimas dorm to see if he was okay. “Kirishima?” Bakugou was in such a rush that he had forgotten to knock and just barged in. “Bakugou?” Kirishima asked from the bathroom. Bakugou rushes to the bathroom, “Are you okay?” Bakugou asked. Kirishima looked at Bakugou’s wrist and realized that he knew. “So how long did you know?” Kirishima asked, completely ignoring Bakugou’s question. “Does that matter right now?” Bakugou was actually concerned. “I might need to see recovery girl” Kirishima said. Bakugou immediately picked him up and carried him all the way to the nurses office. “You didn’t have to carry me” Kirishima said once they had gotten to recovery girl. “I couldn’t just let you stay there and bleed out” Bakugou said, kind of sarcastically. “Aww, but that was kind of the plan, you know” Kirishima said, soon realizing that it probably wasn’t the time to make jokes about this. Bakugou didn’t say anything in response.
After Kirishima had been healed by recovery girl, he passed out. Bakugou decided that he would stay with Kirishima until he woke up. I hope he’s okay Bakugou thought before falling asleep in his chair.
When Kirishima woke up he noticed that Bakugou had stayed with him. He looked at Bakugou’s wrist again and instantly felt super guilty about it. Before Kirishima could feel too bad Bakugou woke up, “So you’re finally awake” was all he said. “Sorry” Kirishima said, he was scared that Bakugou would be mad at him. “Why are you apologizing? You didn’t do anything wrong. I’d like to know why you did it, but I’m not going to blame you for it” Kirishima couldn’t believe it, Bakugou actually wasn’t the least bit mad, he was genuinely worried about him.
Authors note: So I had initially wanted to make a whole story out of this, but I probably won’t be doing that. I just can’t really see where the story would go, but hope you enjoyed :) (sorry that it’s kind of short, also might add more to this but I wouldn’t get my hopes up)

...So I decided that I was going to add an ending to the story, though it won’t be becoming a series. Also it kind of isn’t the best but it does add some closure to the story. Anyways, the next part should be up as soon as possible :)...
Once Kirishima’s wrists were healed, he and Bakugou decided to have a talk about them being soulmates. “So, we’re soulmates, huh ?” Kirishima said. “Yeah shitty-hair, we’re soulmates” Bakugou said, he didn’t seem annoyed though. “Um..”
“What is it shitty-hair?” Bakugou asked, now getting slightly annoyed.
“Um, so, like, what should we do about it?”
Is he being serious? Bakugou thought. “I don’t know, what should we do about it?” Bakugou asked, putting emphasis on ‘should’.
What does he want me to say here? I can’t just tell him that I’m in love with him ! Wait- am I in love with him? Kirishima was almost shocked at the thought, how could he have fallen for Bakugou?
“Kirishima?” Bakugou asked, noticing that something was off, “You still there?”
“What? Uh, yeah” Kirishima responded, snapping out of his thoughts.
“What we’re you gonna say?”
“Oh, it’s nothing. It’s getting late, we should head back to the dorms.” Kirishima said before getting up and starting to walk away, with Bakugou following closely behind.
“So we’re just not going to talk about this?”
“Talk about what, Bakugou? There’s nothing to talk about.”
“What do you mean?”
“Look, I get it, you feel bad for me so now you want to pretend like you care about me until you’re sure I won’t hurt myself again, then you’ll leave, like everyone else. You don’t have to pretend to care about me, Bakugou. I’ll be fine, I always am.”
“I don’t feel bad for you, Kirishima. And I’m not pretending, I genuinely care about you.”
“You shouldn’t”
“What?”
“You shouldn’t care so much about someone like me”
“What do you mean ‘someone like you’?”
“Like someone who want to kill themself, Bakugou!”
By now Kirishima was crying, he was frustrated. He didn’t understand why this was so hard for Bakugou to comprehend. Bakugou shouldn’t care too much about him because he'll eventually just give up on him, just like all the others.
“Kirishima..” Then Kirishima finally realized that Bakugou was actually calling him by his name.
“Why are you doing that?”
“Doing what?”
“Calling me by my name.”
“Cause we’re having a more serious conversation.”
“What do you mean? I mean, we were only talking about being soulmates. I really couldn’t tell that you say that as something serious.”
“Well, my whole life people have been bragging about finding their soulmates and I hadn’t found mine. Then I met you.”
“But why did you hide it?”
“What?”
“The scar, why did you hide it?”
“I had no interest in finding my soulmate”
“But-”
“Your soulmate is supposed to be the person you spend the rest of your life with, it’s a serious thing.”
“So you knew and you didn’t say anything?”
“I knew from the moment I saw you. I’ve literally never met anyone else with the same scar other than you.”
“But why didn’t you say anything?”
“I thought you wouldn’t want your soulmate to be a guy”
Kirishima hadn’t even thought of that, he hadn’t even taken into account that they were both guys.
“I didn’t even realize..”
“I don’t really care, but I figured you might”
“Wait, does that mean..”
“Yeah, okay, I kind of really like you, or whatever”
Kirishima’s eyes lit up, “Really? You mean that?”
“Don’t get all excited, idiot”
“Can I tell you something?”
“What is it?” Bakugou asked, with the most subtle smile.
“I, like, really like you too”
“Well that much was obvious”
“Shut up, Bakugou” Kirishima said in a playful tone, he couldn’t help but be happy in this moment.
...The End...
Authors note: I decided to go back and write more to the story, but it won’t become a series, I just wanted it to have some closure. Hope you enjoyed it :)
