Rewrite The Stars | Final Part (Levi Ackerman FF)
Writer's Note
I don't know if you can still remember me, but it's me Levi Richiveich, the writer of Rewrite The Stars, a fanfiction for Levi Ackerman.
First of all, I am truly sorry for not updating the last season/part of the story because the Facebook Account that was connected to my account here in Mangatoon got disabled and so I wasn't able to continue writing the story.
I was so devasted because of that and lost my will to write the story at that moment.
It took me months to muster up the courage to write up again and start fixing the story.
I am deeply sorry for those people who waited so much for the updates.
I will continue writing the fanfic and I will surely end it. Also, what you'll read in this story is the same as the other one that is being posted already with 60 chapters, the only difference is that this version will be more detailed. Also, I'm adding extra scenes and dialogues.
Thank you for the support that I've been getting even though it's already been months since I stopped writing.
Worry no more and fasten your seatbelt for the ride to Y/N and Levi's story will continue.
EPISODE ONE - PART FOUR
The sky's bright and the air smells salty. The sun is up high, but it really doesn't hurt the skin at all, perfect to stroll around the port and admire the view of the sea.
You mumbled as you stood up and picked up the white coat that you placed beside you.
You then fixed your hair in a bun and wore your glasses before you headed back to the hospital.
You smiled at the person who called you. Nurse Eilene immediately went to you and gave you your charts.
Eilene
Why are you here again? I thought your shift ended an hour ago.
She then asked, wondering why you came back to the hospital.
Y/N
I forgot my bag actually. I was strolling near the port when I remembered that I left it in my office.
You stated and scratched your forehead.
Eilene's mouth formed an "o" and giggled. She accompanied you towards your office to get your bag.
Eilene
I really thought you'll work overtime again, Doc. Geez, I was about to scold you to not overwork yourself.
You smiled at her and gave her a gentle pat on her shoulder.
Y/N
You don't need to worry about me, Nurse Eli. I don't plan on overworking myself. I plan to not overwork this week. Besides, the soldiers might come back next week, they need my help the most.
You assured her and smiled.
She nodded, after a little chitchat, we bid our goodbyes.
Eilene
Please send my regards to Lincoln! I haven't seen him around.
She shouted and ran off to help a patient while you headed to the hospital's exit, passing by a guy who seems familiar to you.
You stopped for a while to take a closer look, but the guy was already gone out of your sight.
Y/N
What a fast walker for someone who has a leg injury.
You chuckled and went out of the hospital, greeting some of the patients along the way.
You walked on the streets, heading to a familiar location, opening the door.
When the door swung open, a toddler greeted you with glee. His black hair was wet, maybe because of the sweat due to playing around all day long.
His short arms automatically extended to hug you. He jumped up, and you caught him midair to hug him back.
Lincoln
Mama! Mama! You're back.
You giggled and pinched his cheeks that were now pink, probably from running with other kids.
Y/N
What did Lincoln do today? Hmm?
You asked in a childish tone as you carried him back to the couch, while your kid wrapped himself to you to hug you.
Lincoln
I played with kids! Grandma Karina also gave me food earlier.
Lincoln said proudly. He sounded so happy meeting Reiner's mother again, he's fond of her.
Cristina showed up from the kitchen with her apron on, and a ladle on one side of her hand. She smiled sweetly.
Cristina
Good afternoon, Doc. You're out early today.
Y/N
Yeah, I need to rest. I heard that the, soldiers will be back next week so I need to be on my full self when they do so that I could help them. That's the least I could do after they watched over us.
You said and a sad smile plastered on your lips.
Cristina
It must've been tough for you, Doc.
Y/N
It's all in the past now, though I don't even have the slightest idea of it. Four years have passed and I couldn't even remember a thing about me.
Lincoln fell asleep hugging you when you looked down at your child.
Y/N
I couldn't even tell Lincoln any stories about his father. He often asks about him now that he's grown enough. I don't even have the slightest idea how we met, how I fell in love with him. He died in the war four years ago and I couldn't even commemorate him.
Cristina and you talked for a while before you brought Lincoln to his bedroom. You changed his clothes into fresh ones and tucked him in.
You then went inside your room, took a shower and sat down to relax for a while.
Cristina is your housekeeper. Even though you've been living here in the Liberio Internment Zone for four years, it somehow doesn't feel at home.
Must be because you're not used here, according to Reiner, your husband's brother. You're the daughter of two well known doctors residing in the wealthy district that died during the Mid-East war, that's still taking place up to this day.
According to him, you met his brother, and the two of you fell in love with each other. You got deployed on a war in the Mid-East, you were a medic there, it is where he died, and you got injured, resulting in you losing my memories.
And now, here you are, left with Lincoln, your child. Even though it was unbearable for you to both lose yourself and your husband, Lincoln was born and gave new meaning to your life.
He's my strength now and the reason that I am living again. I am so happy that Lester's family guided me and helped me a lot during the years. Especially his brother Reiner.
Before you could even tell, you fell asleep hugging yourself.
Lincoln
Mama! Mama! Wake up!
You immediately woke up and were greeted by Lincoln eating bread.
You replied sweetly and got out of bed, being guided by your little one.
He led you to the dining table where the food was already prepared.
Cristina was also waiting for you with a smile.
Cristina
You fell asleep, doc. I sent Lincoln to wake you up for dinner.
You thanked Cristina and the three of you ate dinner peacefully.
Lincoln decided to play again after that while you decided to take a stroll around the neighborhood, trying to kill time.
You sat on a nearby park seat, overlooking the sea. Admiring it again.
Dinah
You really love to stare at the sea, huh?
You looked to your right and saw Dinah, your neighbor, looking at you with a smile as she sat down on the empty seat beside.
Y/N
I guess? Something in me longs for it.
Dinah
Is this about your dream again?
For years, you always dreamt about the sea. Though it's always hazy, it felt so real.
It's like your heart yearns for it.
Y/N
Hmm. I always feel like there's more to it. Sometimes, there'll be teenagers in the background wearing green capes, they'd laugh around, and then I'd find myself smiling at them.
Dinah
Maybe that's a part of your memory? You always said that your dreams felt real.
Dinah is Miko's mother, Lincoln's playmate. We got close to each other as we often hung out in this place.
Y/N
I thought of that, but it won't fit in with my life story before. They said I was raised in seclusion, I only studied whenever I'm free, so how come I'd have some memories of me inside a forest?
You retorted in which Dinah nodded.
Dinah
You know what? Let's go get those delicious pies that Mr. Klaus makes. I bet there's still a few more left there, just to clear your mind.
Dinah's attempt to distract you from your thoughts worked, you find yourself heading to Mr. Klaus's shop where he sells delicious desserts and breads. He also sells a bunch of random stuff, so it's more likely a store.
The two of you went inside and decided to pick up goods that we needed.
You were about to pick a piece of twisted donuts when someone got it first. You looked at the man and was surprised when he was the guy in the hospital earlier.
He looked so surprised upon seeing you that he weirded you out.
Y/N
A-Are you alright? Are you hurt or something?
You asked, stuttering. He might be hurt that's why he reacted this way.
There was a glimpse of recognition in his eyes as he looked at you.
He had such long hair, his head was covered in bondages, extending to one of his eyes. He must be a soldier.
Y/N
Do you want me to take you to the hospital?
He blurted out. Your brows furrowed.
Y/N
Oh, no. You must've mistaken me for somebody else. I see that you're hurt.
You chuckled. You were about to check up on him when Dinah called for your attention, signaling you to go to the line behind her, so you could pay whatever you got.
Y/N
You might've seen me from the hospital, I'm a doctor there. Please, if you feel something wrong don't hesitate to find me. I am Doctor Eury Braun. See you!
EPISODE TWO - PART FOUR
You opened your eyes and saw Cristina looking at you with a worried expression on her face.
Cristina
You're having a bad dream again, are you alright?
She then asked with a tone full of concern.
Y/N
It's fine. I'm just tired. I had to deal with a lot of patients yesterday, that's why.
You replied, trying to assure her.
Cristina
I came in because you're going to be late for work if you don't get up now. I noticed you almost crying in your sleep that's why I decided to wake you up.
You thanked her and got ready. You only had about forty-five hours to get ready, so you fastened your pace.
You sat down with Lincoln for breakfast and bid him goodbye for work. His eyes were still half closed when you left while Cristina was feeding him.
You then rushed to the hospital, that's just a few blocks away from your house.
You checked on some patients before doing rounds.
It was by eleven in the morning that you got to have a quick break which you decided to spend on the hospital's garden.
Y/N
Oh? He's the guy from the store.
You mumbled as you saw the guy, sitting down on one of the benches with his crutches on the side.
Now that you got a quick look at him, he seemed to suffer from very bad injuries. His other leg was amputated.
You decided to greet him and just like before, he looked so surprised seeing you.
It took him a while to respond, but your heart felt happy when he did.
Y/N
How are you feeling now? Are you still hurt?
Eren
N-no, I'm fine. Thank you.
Y/N
Do you mind if I sit beside you?
You then asked and the guy nodded.
Y/N
So how long have you been receiving treatment from the hospital?
You started the conversation, hoping that he'd talk to you.
Eren
I've been here for quite a while.
Y/N
Are you getting treatment for your injuries? Who's your doctor?
Eren
That and for emotional care. I'm under Doctor Schmidt.
Eren
I lost my memories, I woke up and didn't have any idea of who I was or where I'm even from.
He opened up which surprised you.
You were so surprised by the similarities between the two of you. You know how it feels like to wake up one day, not knowing who you are.
Y/N
R-really? Don't worry I know you-
Eren
What do you know about my struggles?
You smiled at him and sighed. What you said after surprised him more.
Y/N
I lost my memories too, four years ago.
You stated in a little voice. He looked like he was taken aback by what you said.
You felt like he was intrigued by what you said. It somehow made you happy because you got to have someone to connect with you. As a doctor, it is your top priority to heal everyone, both physically and mentally.
Y/N
I don't know if you even know about this event considering that you lost your memories recently but, it wouldn't hurt if I tell you right?
You glanced at him for a while before continuing.
Y/N
Four years ago, I was sent to Paradis.
Eren
P-Paradis? You mean the land of the devils? What were the people there like? Were they as what they've told us?
There was a hint of bitterness in his voice.
Y/N
I couldn't give a concrete answer on that, Mr...
You trailed off, realizing that you don't even know the name of the patient you're talking to.
Y/N
Alright, Mr. Kruger. I couldn't give you a concrete answer, I lost my memories there. I couldn't judge.
Eren
What made you say that? We Eldians are treated like shit here because of what our race did to the people of Marley.
Y/N
I refuse to believe that all them are bad people, Mr. Kruger. They're just people like us. It's not like all of the people of Marleyan origin are all nice.
Y/N
To answer your question on how I lost my memory though, I was sent to Paradis for a rescue mission to the warriors that were sent there to retrieve the Founding Titan.
Y/N
War broke there, I lost my husband in the process, and I was gravely injured after. Good thing Reiner was there to save me, he's my husband's brother.
Y/N
I got injured badly, but miracles do happen.
You stopped for a while and fetched your pocket, taking a piece of photograph to show Mr. Kruger.
Y/N
I was actually pregnant at that time, Lincoln, my son, survived and here he is now.
You showed him the photo and Mr. Kruger held it in his hand, looking at Lincoln. It was a recent photograph taken, the both of you were by the port.
You can see a slight smile on Mr. Kruger's lips which made you happy.
He mumbled something as he gave the photograph.
Eren
He takes after his father, huh?
Y/N
Yeah, Reiner said he looked like his father. He's the only memory I have of my husband now.
Eren
I hope he grows up and becomes a great man like this dad.
You said almost in a whisper.
You got a glimpse of your watch and saw that your break is almost up. You stood up and bid your goodbye to Mr. Kruger.
Y/N
Well, that's it for today. I hope to see you around, Mr. Kruger. My break time is almost up, I still have to help the nurses prepare things. Our dear soldiers will return home today, they need me.
You waved him goodbye and he did so.
You kept yourself busy until afternoon, preparing for the arrival of the soldiers from the Mid-East war. A lot of them might be injured, the hospital will be packed again.
Eilene
I can't wait to see them, and thank them for their hard work!
Eilene looks so happy, waiting for them alongside some other doctors and nurses at the train station.
You waited patiently and stood straight when the train arrived. Your grip on the bag tightened and as soon as the doors opened, the soldiers went out, greeting everyone.
The whole place was so loud, packed with years of laughter, joy, and loss. Some of them didn't make it, some of them survived.
That's the reality of war. Lives are lost.
People tend to fight for what they believe is right, what they believe is theirs. They fight for themselves, they fight for their people, their interests, they fight for freedom.
Though, the concept of war for me is not really clear, my duty as a doctor is. That's why I'm here, to help those who are in need.
As soon as the door to the injured soldiers were opened, we hurriedly rushed to take care of them.
Some were treated, some needed dire medical attention while others were just lost cases.
I was assigned to tend to the soldiers who were in dire need of medical attention, some of them even lost their limbs.
Some had huge cuts and were shot, some were still bleeding, some had infections.
Y/N
Get me more antibiotics!
It was a mess, everything was a mess.
When you stood up, you caught a glimpse of Reiner, looking at you. Gabbi, Falco, and the others were there too.
Pieck waved at you and you did too while Reiner just smiled. The kids were so happy to see you and so you are.
Y/N
I'll tend to them first.
You mouthed at them and continued treating the injured soldiers.
