Banners were raised, the fanfare was loud, and the citizens proudly sprinkled their cavalry with flowers. sounds of cheers and acclamations. Children were dancing around. and neat people played the drums behind the crowd, to announce our hero's coming after his majestic victory for his kingdom.

The huge door of the castle was opened. Other crowds of men were in systematic lines, their faces were slightly smiling with appreciation. The knight kneeled. The king moved the sword between his two shoulders to blessed his victory. The sounds of claps were like the sound of rambunctious ripples.

He entered his room. And he stripped his scarf off, then he sat down with plonk.

- Give it to me\, Maroon. Give it to me!

Maroon leaned and busily come with a cup contained a strange liquid, and give it to his master.

- Ah

He sighed of relief after he has finished his cup. and add:

- These things are effective.

Maroon got the courage to comment:

- It is due to our kingdom's doctors. His Majesty chose the best-qualified doctors to serve you highness.

- This is fables.

He said carelessly. then he gave his servant the cup and add:

- Let me alone from now.

- This servant will obey.

After Marron left, he lied down on the chair.

In a greenhouse inside the castle, where leaves spread over the walls, it reflected the sunshine with green lights. A girl was sitting under a tree, taking its shadow as a shield. She was twisting herbs, putting them to a cistern. Then she used milling stick to smash them until they became like a grit, so she transferred it to the next basket where the whole powder was.

- Nawras!

A fluffy sound came close when an old woman in the age of fourteens went towards her. She extended her arms to give Nawras the basket which she carried. And to take that basket which was full of the powder. She fairly smiled and said hopefully:

- This is the last one.

Nawras nodded her head and continued what she was doing. So the woman went to continue her way with another woman who was waiting for her. Then whispered:

- Although she lost her voice\, she is very smart.

The other woman who was waiting for her agreed:

- You are right Mrs Marwa. She was studying herbal medicine since her childhood\, but she absorbed knowledge like a sponge.

- Ah! How pitty! if her mother wasn't living in the castle\, she would have a bright future.

She took a glance at her with eyes which full of sadness and sympathy.

After she had finished her work. She went to a hill to get some air. Then she sat under a tree on the top of the hill, to see children were happily playing while she was drawing the pool behind them on her booklet. it was like a piece of mirror. Sunlight reflected to create a rainbow curve of light. The place was peaceful and calm for her, so she couldn't sene anything surrounded her.

- Wah! since when this pool became that beautiful!

Nawras got shooked and looked around. She didn't use to meet someone at this time, however, she became more scared when she noticed that the sound belongs to a young man.

But he seemed didn't notice her reaction, so he added:

- A lot of things changed since I had come back.

Then he pointed towards the kids and continued:

- I remember they were three kids!

His face drew a slight smile, while she stood still without any move. until she heard a noise coming from grass, to notice that he was sitting near to her. Then asked:

- And you young lady\, what may a beautiful young lady do here?

She got confused. She opened her mouth to answer, but then she remembered that she was unable to speak. so she moved her head away with discontent.

he spoke indifference:

- Oh! You are drawing!

He took the booklet gently, without taking his eyes away on it.

- Your drawing is good!

Her face turned to red. She couldn't turn her eyes up. He looked at her with a little suspicion and said:

- Excuse me my lady\, but ...

But he withdrew his words. He tightened his lips with worried. after a few seconds of silence, he took his booklet out from his pocket. Then he drew something and showed her. Her eyes blew with surprised. But she hid her embarrassed face between her legs and tightened them to her chest. But the sound of grass wake her up to look at him and wondering. But he was laying down on the grass, closing his eyes with a joyful smile. then sigh with satisfaction:

- That sounds better. I won't hear your complaint when I look to your pretty face.

She couldn't hide her shy laugh. Although it came out without a sound, he couldn't help but smile.

- I want to see your drawings.

He pointed out to her booklet:

- I guess it would be more enjoyable to talk through it\, don't you think so?

She couldn't help but look at him with her fully open eyes. Her round eyes made her looked like an innocent baby lamb. Well, he didn't need an answer because all was written in her eyes. But then he stood up, shook his clothes and wondered:

- Are you going to be here tomorrow?

She couldn't answer, but he felt her uneasiness. So he smiled and said:

- So that means Yes!

She flickered several times before he left and said:

- Let your booklet be with you too.

Nawras put her booklet on a small woody table. Then she mused until a weak voice calling woke her up. She looked at the next room, her mother has just woked up. Her face was pale and small black circles under her eyes.

- Nawras\, bring me medicine.

She moved her hand towards the table. many kinds of herbs and medical tools were messy. Maybe her mother was trying to do a new experiment. She took one of the phials and go to her mother's annexe room. Then she helped her to drink it. Her mother's face changed. Even she drink this medicine regularly, she can't be used to its bitterness.

- Ah dear!

She sighed:

- You don't know how much your father will be proud of you now!

Nawras tried to show a slight smile on her face. Her smile disappeared when her mother said:

- Remember to drink yours too.

Her face changed to resentment. But she quickly hid it. She nodded her head and left. Her mother's eyes followed her until she closes the door. Then she sadly sighed, her eyes were full of secrets.

Nawras went to their storehouse. There were too many kinds of herbs. they were inside a liquid in different sizes of phials. Bubbles were floating, quickly inflated and disappear. A phial was on a table next to a small window. The soft light came from outside made a lot of colours floated on its glass. She took some from the liquid, put it in a small bottle and close it carefully. She went out cautiously, looking around for several times. Then she went to the greenhouse.

Marwa was the person who faced her when she entered. She took the small bottle and whispered:

- Did you make certain that nobody saw you?

Nawras nodded to confirm. Marwa kindly smiled with satisfaction. Then she went with her to their lab. The greenhouse was busy as a beehive. There were some people to figure out the temperature, some people to care about herbs growth. everyone was wearing a white dress and white gloves. Nawras wear her white apron and start to help Marwa with preparing herbs.

A fence was in its zenith in the middle of the gargantuan arena. The stone stadium was full of high-class people. There was a golden dome in the top of the stadium where the king and his retinue. They were watching with ease, however, the princess was so nervous. When the knight who she was waiting for came, she eagerly corrected her seat. But soon she kept her emotions after she saw her father's scary glimpse.

The fence has been finished. And Knights ranking has resorted depending on their victories. Then all went to their tent to take his heavy armour off. Maroon was walking among when the princess appeared in front of him.

- Highness!

He cried with surprised. So she cautiously approached, pulled him away and whispered:

- Tell me! Is he going to be exclusion?

- Who?

He wondered:

- The cavalier Lucas?

She subdued her worried. But her reaction wasn't hidden from his eyes. so he slightly smiled and comfort her:

- Princess doesn't need to worry about that. Everything going to be alright.

But she looked at him coldly, and firmly asked:

- Is he going to be exclusion?

He hesitated before he answered:

- He is not going to exclusion\, but the cavalier Lyon is going to have his current rank.

She sighed. She couldn't help but feel sad. Just to remember all the hard work that she taught him faded away like that made her want to cry blood. Maroon tried to comfort her again:

- But princess know the cavalier Lucas is good\, right? He could claim another status.

She sighed again:

- I don't know about his will. He always disappointed me.

Maroon couldn't say anything else. But the princess left helpless immediately. Then a sound jumped from behind:

Maroon's voice was full of repulsion. Then he looked towards Lyon who was smiling and add:

She was still sitting under the peach tree. She seemed lost in her world. He took a deep breath. Then calmly approached.

He playfully said:

Her facial was freeze. she blinked several times before she understood his words. When she saw his sarcastic facial expression of his face. Her face became red. Then she moved her face aside. He couldn't help but smiled. Then he sat next to her. when she showed him her booklet which she used it to hide her red face. a rabbit was drawn, there was some kind of arrows to describe its motion. He stared at the sketch trying to figure out the meaning. Then he looked at her and wondered:

- Do you mean that my footsteps are so fast?

She timid shooked her face. So He laughed:

- Never mind! I will relieve my speed.

Then he calmly asked:

- Do you like it like this?

She slowly looked at him. seeing her circle eyes, her peachy cheeks and the movement of her head. He couldn't help but smiled. He lied on the ground and said:

- Just continue what you were up to. I will be quit.

He covered his eyes with his hands and joyfully added:

- Hah! Look! I don't even see.

Her nerve became calm. She smiled and continue her drawing. They stayed like that for a while. He looked at her from the gaps of his fingers. Her small back was facing him, so he couldn't see what she is drawing. But her sober and staid made him keep his eyes on her. Until he raised himself. He thought he can now have a slight look. But when got up, his breath touched her neck. This light touch made her shooked. she instinctively approached her booklet near to her chest, However, she noticed that her move dirtied her dress and destroyed her sketch. Poor girl! She was spending her days to draw this landscape! He noticed his doing. So he looked at her shamefully.

- I am sorry!

She couldn't help but look at her booklet and clothes with sad face trying to shake her clothes. But it is too much embarrassing to shake her chest part in front of him.

- I am sorry!

He stood up and contritely looked at her. She looked at him with her innocent eyes when she saw his hand in front of her.

- Could you let this shameful man correct his mistake?

She tightened her lips. The light in her eyes told how much she hesitated. But in her mind, she didn't think he was harmful. Maybe she should give him a chance.

So She put her hand on his. He thankfully smiled. This smile was the most beautiful smile he ever did. it made her thought eased a bit. He walked while he was holding her hand. She was looking at his hand all way. She got nervous but he didn't notice. until he declared that they arrived.

He let her hand. But she forgot about it when she looked at this magical heaven in front of her. colourful light glittered between treas. And beautiful bluebirds were flying back and forth. Bright chrysanthemum bloomed along the side of soil road that was leading to a nice peacefully woody cottage. She spun around to look everywhere like she didn't want to miss seeing anything. Her circle eyes brightened with excitement. Until they arrived at the cottage.

- The place is not tidy\, but please set there until I come back.

She stared at the woody room. it was full of joinery. A few seconds then she heard a charming woman's laugh. Then a maidservant appeared with a bright smile.

- Oh dear!

The woman was in the age of her mother, so she looked at her with pity. Then she invited her to follow her.

- Let me change your clothes first.

Nawras looked at her dress. She barely remembered it. She obediently followed the woman. When they started to climb the stairs. The woman looked at him, winked and said:

- And You! stay here! Don't follow us!

He rubbed his head and smiled. He knew that she was just playing around because he asked her that risky mission. But the person who was affected was Nawras who timidly lowed her head.
