...Author's Pov...

The boy was running down the street. As he was running away from someone. He was turning his head to see if someone was following him or not.

He kept running and suddenly his eyes become heavy and was going to fell on the ground. He was tired from running for so long. He didnt wanted to fall now. He kept running and finally he fell on the ground. He was trying to keep his eyes open but he was not able to and he fell unconscious.

After sometime he regained his consciousness and he found himself in a dark void. He was thinking this was dream but no matter how he tried to wake up he couldn't. All he could do was remmmeber his past.

He had no parents and lived in orphan. There his life was not good but it was like hell. Everyone bullied him because he didn't had any friends. But only one boy talked to him.

He lived his life there being bullied. But he had only one person who cared for him, it was his only friend he had. His name was Jonas .

The boy always spend his time with Jonas but still they both were bullied.

One day Jonas died from his long time dissease .

After his death he was depressed.

A year passed and the other boys also left the orphanage after being adopted and only he was left their.

Time passed and he turned 16 and was still living in orphanage with the owner of the orpahnge .

He was always scolded for not being adopted and stays. their as freeloader.

He had enough. He ran away.

Now he is finding himself in endless void alone.

Soon he felt a warmth surrounding him.

It was like he got small and was held in someone's arm.

He opened his eyes and saw a lady with golden eyes and black hair holding him.

......PROTAGONIST POV......

Where i am? who is the lady and holding me. And why i am so small.

Did i turned into a baby. No its impossible.

Not knowing where i am i was going to cry. The lady noticed me that i was going to cry and began shaking me . This is so annoying and i feel more uncomfortable. My feeling are very vulnerable right now. I am easily able to cry. I dont remmmeber crying when I was being bullied.

But why now i am easily crying. Is this because i became baby?

The lady stopped shaking me and closed me towards her chest. I could hear her heartbeat.

She held me so that i can be comfortable. So she figured why was i crying. But still i was feeling afraid because of so different environment. She opened her thin and red lips and started singing. Her voice so beautiful and melodious that made me feel safe.

Is this is what feels when someone cares for you.

Regaining my mind from her song i focused on her again. When i watched her she gave a sweet smile. i could help but blush. She then put me in the cradle and left.

Who was that lady. Why i feel sad when she left me here. First i need to think what happened. Last thing happened was that i fell on ground unconscious when i ran from orphanage.

Did i died there and reborned here? No its not possible but i cant think of any other explanation.

But people say we dont remmeber our past life when we are reborn. Am i some kind of special case? Perhaps its looks like i am.

So where did i reborn? Is this lady my mother?

I suppose she is. Whatever is going on is not in my control so i can do is only see what will happen from now on.

...Author's Pov...

The boy accepted whatever happened to him. He considered this as a new chance to have better life. He was named Aren Isbert by his parents.

Years passed slowly. He learned that his parents were living in forest away from main land of human. And he released this was not the world he was in. He learned that there was a mysterious energy so called mana and it is present in every living beings. But only person with a mana core can use magic. And Aren father William Isbert who is also one of them had mana core and was able to use ice magic.

He turned 8 years today and its his 8th birthday.

It is first time he is celebrating his birthday and he had parents. He was very happy to have them.

"blow the candles Aren" Adelphia Isbert said. His mother.

"And make a wish before blowing the candel" William suggested.

After looking at both of them and returning his focus to cake he blew the candel.

And both of them clapped and sang the birthday song.

When that asked what was his wish he said" its a secret "

What else he could have wished from anything other than being happy with his family.

They all celebrated with meal and after his mother was cleaned the table his father took out a small small sword shapped necklace and tied around Aren's neck.

"What is this? " He asked in curiosity

"It is your birthday present and it will always protect you and will make you remember about your family.

After hearing this words he hugged him and started crying.

Watching him crying his parents hugged him tightly.

After hugging each other Aren's mother handed him a book.

He opened the book and saw it was about how to uses of magic.

After giving the book Adelphia said "you were always Intrested in knowing about magic so now you can know.

Giving a soft smile Aren thanked them for the gift.

...Aren's Pov...

I finally got access to learn magic. On my 8th birthday mother gaved me Book Of Magic. I always see my father training ice magic near the river which is in the front of our house. He can freeze water and even make ice out of air. This is possible because of mana. In my previous world we had no such thing. Humans only depend on their technology but here its different. But people who are not able to use mana need to depend on their technology. Father told me that nobel family or we can say them decendant of great mages who fought against Legendary beast to save their country.

They were very power mages but they were barely able to win against a legendary beast. But. why did legendary beast attacked them. They are said to be intelligent like humans and other races.

I hoe they dont show up now. They went to deep sleep many years ago.

Where humans feel proud that they defeated the legendary beast on other hand they ser them as mythical beast too.

Since not all of them attacked and only one attacked them. Scary to think if everyone attacked at same time.

I also learned that their are not only human race in this world.

There are 4 intelligent races like human.

Elves, dwarfs , beast people and demons.

Every one have their own speciality. I am interested in meeting them. To think that i have spend 10 years in forest with my parents. When will i go to cities.

Enough thinking about this, i should wake up from bed and go for my magic training.

I combed my self properly and went outside.

Mother was washing clothes on the river side and father was practising sword art.

"Oh you are awake" Mother said

i simply gave her a nod and went near the river and washed my face.

"You should eat you breakfast i have prepared and put it on the table"

"Yes i will" I gave a smile and went inside for breakfast

After having breakfast i went outside to where father was.

i put out the sword necklace which my father gave me and hold it on my hand.

I put some mana in the sword and it came to its original form.

Magical right, its a special sword for people with no mana core to use power full weapon to match with mages.

So until i have my mana core i will use this for my training.

With this i can only use pure mana from air with the help of this sword. It increases my contact with outer mana so i will not have problem with using mana.

I kept the sword in my hand to show that i am ready for training.

He gave a smile and said "shall we start today lesson"

yeah bring it on, after getting beaten for a year in mana and sword fight but now i am can hold myself against him.

i gave a nod.

We the moved at a distance. He gave signal to continue. I got my self in stance and faced towards father.

i ran forward to hit him with sword.

He easily blocked and pushed me back.

i again ran toward him to hit.

this time i put force so that he dont push me back. When our sword touched i pushed him with more force.

he also responded with forcing me back again. I didnt got pushed far so i instantly return back to attack on his leg. He used his sword to block my attack. After blocking my attack he hit my head with his hand.

"owww" i groaned

"you have to do better and dont just run toward me.

"yeah i know" i said while taking back my step.

i again ran toward him. But this time time he attacked first. I tried to block his attack but he changed his direction to my stomach and i was not able to defend myself.

i felt a light pain but i take a step back and found an opening. I hit directly at his neck but stopped before it touched.

"No bad but you have already lost" father said and i felt more pain in my stomach.

i felt on my knee . What the heck was that. I felt pain after few seconds.

"What happened? " Mother came running after watching me felling on ground.

"are you okay" She asked me as i tried to stand up.

"what the hell were you thinking when attacking a 10yearv old kid with that " mother said angrily.

"It was just practice, dont worry he will be fine" father said

pain went away few moment later

so this is a type of attack. He know thats why he is calm.

"today training is over now " mother said

"But we have just started.... "

she gave me a deadly glare. This is sign i should not speak anything.

"fine, today i will be taking Aren on hunting with me."

our family never go to town for shopping food since we grow food here and hunt animals for meat. I feel like i am living as early men but this is not bad.

As long as i am with them.

"shall we go "father asked

i stood up

"yes"

we went to forest after taking our equipments.

I hold the knife and box where we will keep food and arrows on my back. Father had only taken bow. Agh why you give so much to a little boy.

After sometime father stopped walking and signalled me to stay still.

Looks like he found something.

"look there" father said with a smile.

i step forward and saw group of deer.

They were big, they were not like what i know in my own world.

"so are we going to kill them?"

"yes " father said taking an arrow from

he set his aim on a dear and said something before releasing the bow.

...Aren's pov...

Father released the arrow. It moved very fast and hit the dear neck. But after it hit the dear neck, ice growed from his and the dear died.

"Gotcha " fathers said with a smile

"what was that" i asked

"oh that, it was a weapon spell i created. "

"you mean you used normal bow as magic spell?"

"correct" and he patted my head

"i want to learn it" i said

"um we will see what element you will have when you will get you mana core and then i will teach you" They have confirmed that i have mana core because when a person have high mana inside them they get mana core at age of 12.

"i am waiting for it"

i gave a smile.

We went to take the body of deer. All other dears ran away when they saw one dear die.

Now the questions was how to take this. It was not big as elephant but was around elephant height.

Father took the box which i was holding.

He said we will keep meat in this but i think this is too small.

"Dont say you are going to keep this in the box" i said

"just watch it" he said.

He moved the box near the deer and suddenly the deer got inside the box

"what was that" i asked in surprised

"this is extra dimension pocket. "

he explained it was magic artifacts which was given to them by their family.

And their was only 10 thousands of such artifacts. Only 6000 are in this country.

so thats why he bring so big deer home easily

Well I don't like to kill deers but for living its fine. And a single deer last 3 months.

the meant dont rot also when he keep it in ice he make from mana.

We took our items and walked towards our home.

In the middle way he stopped.

"what happened? " i asked

"Can you hear it? " He said looking up in the sky

it was sound of clouds

"looks like its gonna rain soon" i said

"shall we race to house" Father suggested

Yeah but you have to carry all these.

"ok give me some "

i gave him the items and we ran to our house.

When we arrived a carriage with horse was near our house.

Father stopped after watching the carriage.

He had worry expression on his face

"What happened " i asked

"Nothing, lets keep going "

We arrived at our house.

After getting inside i saw a man in white suit and blonde hair sitting in the chair and talking with mother.

The man looked at us

"Oh look who is here" Father said with smiling face but he was still worried about something

"Long time no see your Majesty "

The man said standing up from the chair and then he came closer towards us.

He then bowed to my father

"Majesty? " I questioned

"Can you take Aren outside"

Father said to Mother

whats going on and why this man refered my father as Majesty

"Aren we should leave your father and Shrek, they have something important to talk. " Mother said taking my hand and leaving from there.

We went outside and the way mother was grabbing my hand was hurting me.

We arrived in the deep forest

"Why are we so far from our house" I asked mother

"Just keep walking" Mother said coldly

Why she suddenly started behaving like this.

We arrived far from our house. Mother stopped . I also stopped and jerked my hand off from her

"Why you suddenly took me here" I shouted

"Keep quite " She said bitting her nails

"why this had to happen now" She said

"Whats happening ?" i asked

"nothing we just came here because your father and Shrek that man need to have some personal talk" mother said

Yeah why not if they want to do personal talk then why are we so far

i pointed the location where we are. Mother turned away she made a face that she realised now that how far we are.

"we should move home" mother said.

what made her so worry that she just want to run away from house?. Who is that man anyway.

Mother grabbed my hand and we walked to our home.

...william's Pov...

What is Shrek doing here? It means only one thing then. I asked Adelphia to take Aren away from here. She was looking worried, i dont want to happen what i am thinking.

After Adelphia and Aren left i took chair and sat down.

"So she know about us? " i said knowing he is here for that only.

"Yes my majesty " Shrek said

"But she dont know about your location but they are finding you" Shrek continued

"Who told her about us" I said smashing the table

"I dont have any information about that"

Shrek said, he was scared when i smashed the table.

"so we have to move from here i guess" I said

"No you don't need to worry i will try my best that no one can find you and late queen" Shrek said

Shrek is the only one left in Kingdom whom we can trust after betraying by our own family.

My mother wanted his young son to be king but i was chosen by my father. I was accused for death of my father and was senteced to death. But Shrek helped me and my wife to run away from kingdom.

"So is she raised by my mother" I asked Shrek about my daughter Elsa.

I had to leave my daughter with my mother because i had no other choice.

"i dont want to say but she is trying to find you and kill you and queen" Shrek said

nothing else can be expected if she is raised by mother who hate her owm son

"So that child my majesty... " Shrek said

"He is not our blood child" i said. In reality Aren was founded in forest alone. There was no one and Wild beast would have killed him so i took him our house.

"So what did my mother taught my daughter " I asked him

"Your mother spread your false news not only to your daughter but to our whole nation" Shrek said

letting out a sigh i asked "what were those false news about me "

"King William had killed previous king to become king " he said

Giving a disgust look he continued

"She told your daughter that you were going to kill her and make sacrifice to extend your life . She said that she protected her from you and Queen making herself look good in front of your daughter"

"Why would she say this to my daughter?"

I asked. If mother want to kill me and make his other son king so why she is making my daughter hate me? "

Showing a scared expression he said "Your daughter is engaged with neighbour nation who is very powerful and your daughter will become queen of that nation if she marry there"
