Aoba Johsai won the last set, the audience shouted in joy, I cheered on tooru, my boyfriend. He glanced at me or as I assume he was and smiled and waved, I waved back and noticed the girl beside me waving too. I sighed and smiled, she was probably one of the girls who fawn over him. As everyone was leaving I walked over the team, they greeted me happily since I have been pretty close with them since I have been going out with Tooru. I tend to come to his practices bringing some food, snacks and the other members tend to ask for some too, so I would bring some more food for them, sooner or later we started talking and getting to know each other more and now I hangout with them daily outside of their practices.

"have you seen tooru? I brought him some onigiri and milk bread"

"we haven't seen him but I think I saw him walking to the bathroom" Iwazumi replied. I thank him and rushed over to look for tooru.

I look at the bento box I was holding in my hands, it reminds me of when we first met, I was also one of his admirers and I've always admired his passion for volleyball, I gave him this same bento box and we started to talk and he asked me out after a year of being friends. I smiled at the memory and soon I realised I was close to the bathroom. I looked up and saw the familiar chocolate waves from the wall standing behind.

"Tooru! congratulations on winning today-"

I dropped the bento box as I saw him kissing a girl, the same girl I was sitting next to at the match, I stepped back as I realised when the bento box collided with the floor it made a loud sound, startled, tooru turn around and look at me terrified.

"i-it's not what it looks like I swear-"

" enjoy your bento tooru! although, it's on the floor, oh  think I cracked too" I smiled

"____ wait please I'm sorry--"

"ah I'm late for work, I have a shift at the cafe  today, I must leave"

"___! listen to me!  I need to-'

I knew he was shouting towards me but I didn't listen, I just ran back to the court to grab my backpack that I left there.

"__-san, back so soon? where's oikawa?" Iwazumi asked

" with his girlfriend Iwazumi-san!" I said and smiled.

"but your right here, where is he?"

" Iwazumi-san you must have hearing problems," I laughed. " he's with his girlfriend right now!" he looked at me confused.

"anyways, my boss called and I have to leave cause he wants me to do the evening shift" I quickly said and left the court.

as I realised I have walked quite far away from the gym, I let go of the tears I was holding back before, pathetic. I knew this would happen, girls surrounded him at every moment of the day, prettier girls, more talented girls, I knew he was going to cheat on me eventually, but ironically even after I prepared for the worst case scenario, it still hurted me as if I never even thought that it could happen in the first place.

" iwa-chan\, where's ___?" the brunette asked.

"really oikawa? you finally have someone who appreciates you for your passion, someone who pushes you to play volleyball more, someone who is always there for you, and you cheated on her? you better have a reason for that sh*t you've just done" the furious ace said to the setter.

" I'm sorry iwa-chan, I swear I didn't mean to I was just caught up in the moment and I guess it just happen."

" you cheated on her, so apologize, to her"

"__-chan! please I need to talk to you" tooru said approaching me in the hallways.

" what do you want to talk about oikawa-san?" I asked.

"____\, I never meant to kiss that girl\, please believe me I never meant to cheat on you\, I was just caught up in the moment" he said holding both of my hands in his.

"oh but, if you still did it, then the intention is still there oikawa-san!" I laughed, I took my hands back and put them behind my back.

"_ you can be angry at me all you want but I beg you, don't break up with me, I really love you" he pleaded, I chuckled.

" I'm not angry oikawa-san!" I smiled. " why would I be angry at you?".

"__...??"

"you were the one who cheated on me right? it was your actions, I never told you to do that, what rights do I have to be angry at something that was your decision?" no words came out of him so I smiled and continued.

"I'm disappointed oikawa-san" still having the same bittersweet smile I had before. " but I have no rights to be, you chose her instead of me so I respect your decision oikawa-san!"

" but you were never a second choice, __!" he shouted through the nearly empty hallway. "you're always my first choice please believe me.."

" oh oikawa-san.." I sighed. " if you really loved me then there wouldn't even be a second choice" I said in a happy tone, he looked at me with an unbearable expression.

"oh I'm late for class! anyway, congratulations on your new relationship oikawa-san! I'll leave you be now" I waved goodbye and left him there in the hallways, I walked to my lockers to grab my math books and saw the pictures of me and tooru that I put around inside my locker walls, I smiled and took them off, I put them inside a notebook I haven't used and ran to my class as I realized I was late.

" has anyone seen __-san? I thought she would be here right now with some snacks" Kindaichi asked.

" oh I hope she brings some mochi, I told her to bring some at yesterday's match" Matsuwaka said while smiling he loved to eat mochi __ makes.

" everyone, I don't think she's coming today" Iwazumi said putting down his water bottle.

"why? did she get called to cover a shift today in her workplace?" Hanamaki asked.

"ask oikawa" Iwazumi said bitterly ,disappointed at his friend.

"why isn't she coming? I'm hungry.." kunimi asked disinterested, but in need of some food.

" I..don't know" oikawa simply replied.

" tell them, shittykawa, or I will" Iwazumi threatened.

"Oikawa sighed. " I.. cheated on her "

REMINDER: so guys for some of you that didn't know what (__) or (__-san) means the blank was stands for your name the female lead was you the reader so I hope you guys get what I mean.. I just don't like writing y/n as the lead.

I didn't come to their practice match today, I need some space, I really need to calm myself down. The boss asked if I wanted to take today's shift so I could rest on thursday. I agreed and took the shift. I heard the bell on the door rang, signaling that someone must've came in, I wiped the counter and prepared myself to take the customer's order.

"welcome, may I take your order?" I looked up to the customer and I flinched as I realised it was the same girl tooru kissed yesterday.

"yes I'll have-" she abruptly stopped talking as she looked up and realized I was the cashier. " oh it's you, god you're even uglier than the last time I saw you" she said with a disgusted look on her face.

"thank you! and you're even prettier than the last time I saw you" I smiled. " now what would you like to order?". I asked politely.

" I'm insulting you, you freak" she said.

"and I'm complementing you! don't worry I've known how to form and understand a sentence since I was three years old!" I laughed. she stood there silently and started to order.

"I'll have an ice chocolate and a croissant" I tapped in the order.

" Your total will be 770 yen" I said pulling out the receipts. she threw her money at my face and I smiled, I took the money that had fell on the floor and walked over to the pastry area to prepare her order.

"here you are, have a nice day!" I put her order on the counter and she grabbed it and left.

"__-san how are you so patient?" my coworker, terushima yuuji, asked. he is also a high school student in need of money, he goes to Johzenji High.

" why wouldn't I be yuuji-san?" I asked. "There's no use putting more fuel to the fire" I sighed. I had three more hours to cover so I decided to clean up the tables.

"I'm going over at the back, I need to take out the trash, just call me if there's anything you need to help with okay?" yuuji said. I simply nodded and continue cleaning the tables.

"__! are you here?" I heard a familliar voice.

" oikawa-san, hello!" I smiled. "your girlfriend just came a few minutes ago, what a coincidence! did you see her on your way in?" I asked.

"she's not my girlfriend and yes I did see her" he said walking towards the counter.

" what would you like to order?" I asked him preparing myself to tap in his orders on the register.

"__-chan I'm sorry, please don't break up with me, I made a mistake" he pleaded once more. I sighed in disbelief.

"oikawa-san I thought we talked about this at school? I'm working right now" I said.

"__ I need you"

" oikawa-san if you're not going to order something then you need to leave" I said politely but sternly.

"__ I love you, please don't leave me, I'm sorry" tooru said.

" I love you too oikawa-san! we're friends aren't we?" I chuckled. " now if you're not going to order anything I politely asked you to leave" he sighed and left. I continued cleaning up the tables. yuuji walked in after a few seconds.

" I saw you talking to your boyfriend" he said. " did you guys break up? you called him your friend and he said please don't leave me"

" oh that, he cheated on me at yesterday's match" I replied. yuuji was startled. " and the girl who came in before him him was the girl he kissed, what a coincidence huh?" I continued.

"__, you really are something, how can you not be hurt  because of this?" he asked worried.

" oh I'm hurt yuuji-san, but I just chose to keep it myself" I explained.

"you are the only thing, you can control as they say"

"__.."

" and I can't control what others do, so the least I can do is accept it, it is what it is you know?" I laughed and continued cleaning the tables.
