Be safe okay? Call me when you get there.
Sean
I will make sure to follow after a week.
Bria
You don't have to hurry. Finish what you have to do at work and we'll be waiting for you there.
Sean
Are you really sure you're good without me? I mean...... all I need is a week and we can go there together...
Bria
Well...... I would love to but......I need to be there within this week. And.... Kera is with me, you have nothing to worry.
Kera pull Bria's hand away from Sean

Will you stop worrying. I won't leave Bria's side. I will make sure to chase away every guy that dares to get near her. (winks)
Sean
It's not that.......I just-
Kera
Ugh....we need to go. Come on Bri.
Kera grab Bria's hand and run inside the airport.

(Shouts) I won't let any guy near her. Don't worry.
Bria
(Chuckles) You're crazy..
Kera
What? He's been overprotective. And it goes up a notch since he learned you're going back at your mom's hometown.
Kera
It's not like he's hiding something from you. Or is he?
Bria
He worries about my mental health. You knew how much hurt I've felt the last time I've gone there when granny died in that accident. I've overcome all of those trauma thanks to Sean.
Kera
Yeah, I know. I'm thankful to him as much as you do, really.
Kera
But I still think he worries too much sometimes.....
Chapter 2
Kera
Hey Bri....wake up. We're here.
Kera gently pat Bria's shoulder

Hmmmmm.....(opens eyes slowly)
Kera
The plane will land anytime soon...
Bria
It really is convinient having you here. (Laughs)
A few moments later, the plane have landed and both of them walks out of the airport.
Kera
Are we expecting someone to pick us up?
Bria
Yes, a distant cousin of mine. Oh there he is.
A man about their age run towards them. He hugs Bria.
Jiro
Hey couz. I miss you.
Bria
Is it really me you're missing or the foods I cook?
Jiro
Oh, I miss the foods more. (Grin)
Jiro
And who is this beautiful lady that you're with? (winks at Kera)
Bria
Oh! She's Kera, my best friend. Kera, this is Jiro.... my cousin.
Bria
(Whispers at Kera) Beware of him. He's a playboy.
Kera
(Laughs) Hi Jiro, nice to meet you.
Kera extends her hand to Jiro for a handshake.
Jiro
My pleasure to meet you, mi amore. (kiss Kera's hand)
Jiro just shrug, help them with their baggage, and lead them to his car.
As they get near the town, Bria suddenly felt anxious.
They were currently at the part of the way where nothing can be seen but tall trees on both side of the road and that made her feel more uneasy
She look at Kera and Jiro. They don't seem bothered at all so she just shrug it off.
Chapter 3
After an hour and a half, they arrive at the Ancestral home that is owned by Bria's late grandmother.
Jiro
Are you sure you want to stay here? I mean mom would love it if you would go at our house instead.
Jiro
Considering you two will stay here alone and the next neighbor is like a few kilometers away.
Bria
Don't worry. We can manage. We'll make sure everything is locked at night.
Bria
Tell aunt we'll visit her one of this days.
Jiro
I wanted to stay here but you know, I need to go back at the university.
Bria
It's okay, really. Sean would be here after a week.
Jiro
If that's what you want. I'll be going then, I have a class this afternoon. Bye
Bria
Bye! drive carefully.
Jiro waves goodbye and left.
Kera and Bria walk their way inside the house.
A good distance from the house two people are silently watching them.

Wow! This house is huge. But a little creepy.

Don't tell me you're scared? I thought you love going to haunted places?
Kera
I love to visit them but not staying in one. Wait........... is this house haunted? Can we just stay at your Aunt's house?
Bria
(Laughs) This is not haunted. Though no one have lived here since grandma died. But, someone goes here every other day to clean the house. We'll meet her tomorrow.
Kera
We'll be sleeping in the same room, right?
Bria
Yeah yeah. Are you hungry? Would you want to eat first or rest instead?
Kera
Are you really asking me that? Of course we are eating first, duh.
Bria
Okay. I'll call for a delivery.
Kera was about to say something but Bria cut her off.
Bria
No, I'm too tired to cook.
A few moments later, they hears the doorbell ringing.
Bria came out and as she expected it's the food that they ordered.
As she was walking back inside the house, her heart began to pound faster. It's the feeling of someone staring at her. She turn around but did not see someone.
Her heart did not calm down until she is inside the house.
