Author’s POV

A fair weather started

as a new day arrives, around the busy market there’s a lot of mortals buzz ling.

Luo Yang restaurant,

owned by a young man is busier than ever.

A man in the second

story of the place sitting nearby the window watching people pass by. He has

that golden brown eyes, long but braided soft hair, he’s wearing his catchy

smile which makes any woman fall for him.

“Young Master, can’t

you stop smiling? It’s early in the morning and it so loud because of you.” A

young girl with short hair complain as she scratch her nape.

“Silly. It’s not

because of my smile, it’s because of my,” he pause and tap his face. “Young

Master… I’m being serious he…” “Shush.” She got hush.

She followed her

master’s gaze and it landed in bunch of girls arguing.

“Hey! I’ve been

watching him since he arrives, so you don’t have the right to approach him!”

the girl in a white hanfu raises her voice.

“And who are you to say

that? Are you his wife? Lover?” the other girl talk back. She expect an answer

but got a slap.

“How dare you!!” then

another day of chaos in the market.

Passersby starts to

gather around to watch who’s fighting this time.

“Young Master, look.

This is not surprising anymore.” Actually ever since they arrive at this place,

chaos is there. Girls having fights because of him, the one and only, Xiao Yi.

A young, rich and

handsome man from Peng Lai. He got his maid, Shen. He left Peng Lai to start a

new life in Jiangnan, and build an inn which known by many.

“Young Master! Look!” Shen

pointed directly of where the chaos is. Xiao Yi turned his head to see. A girl

suddenly stand in the middle of the fight, stopping both side.

A mysterious young

woman appeared out of nowhere. She has that strong and charismatic aura. Black

and red robes with a veil hat and face veil hiding her face.

Ling Xian’s POV

Even its spring, it’s

still cold in lower mid mountain.

After cultivating in

the cave for almost 400 years, I finally master the Eight Sides of Light, which

include the darkness.

I decided to pay a

visit and ask something to my Grandmaster.

I starts to climb the

mountain, he’s located in the top which is hard to reach for low cultivators.

“Is Grandmaster Shu

awake?” I stop in front of a stone door with letters curved in it ‘Highly ground’, and asked the guard.

“He is but he’s cultivating.” I watch the skies and saw a sign that a new day

will arrive in few minutes.

The door opened

abruptly, I glare at the guard which he apologize immediately.

“Xian ‘er, it’s been

centuries.” An Oldman spoke, he looks like he’s more than 90 years old but he’s

an immortal. I vowed to pay a respect, “Grandmaster Shu.”

“How was this years?”

he pointed a chair and I sits, “It’s good, I finally master the one you’ve been

wanting me to learn.” I smiled, he laughs back at me.

He sighs, “I can feel

another aura on you, let me check your pulse.” I was about to ask a question

regarding this but I decided to stay quiet and listens to him

“Try to control

yourself when something bad happen.” He retrieve his hand.

“What do you mean,

Grandmaster Shu?” I look at him worried. Is it because I lack of cultivation?

“You might slaughter

everyone who’s in the area. You’re power is too strong that you may lose over

it.” He pauses, “Try to relax your muscles while you’re in combat, it’ll help

you.” “Thank you for telling me Grandmaster Shu.”

“I want to ask you

something.” I heard Grandmaster Shu hummed in response, “It’s been years since

I stayed in mortal world, I’d…” “That’s a good idea for you to control your

power, go.”

This time, I can’t hide

my smile anymore,

 “Thank you so much Grandmaster Shu, don’t

worry I will visit you anytime.” “Now’s the right time for you to leave the

mountain, live a good life Xian ‘er.” I vowed and pay respect before I leave.

After grabbing my

things, I left the mountain. I passed a lot of forest before I arrive at

Jiangnan.

“It’s the same as

before.” I smiled at starts to walk, I saw a vendor selling some buns and

decided to buy some of them. Just then I was about to take a bite, I heard a

ruckus nearby.

“Looks like I’m wrong,

I thought it’s was another year of peace. Early in the morning and someone

starts a fight.” I complained and hide the buns in my bag.

I look at the crowd

from where I stand, looks like girls are fighting. So, I fly towards them and

stand in between.

“A beautiful morning,

why start a fight?” I look at the girl in my right, I raises my eyebrow for an

answer.

“She tried to stop me from

approaching my man!” “He’s not your man! I’m the one who saw him first, so he’s

mine.” Before they could catch each other, I held their clothes.

“Just because of a man?

Are you serious?” I laugh hard, “Is he the only man left in this world.” They

became quiet after I asked.

“You are girls, for

god’s sake. You better behave in front of everyone and act like a true woman.”

I scolded, “You act like cat and dog fighting for a single bone.”

“Shameless!” I can’t

help but to raise my voice.

I look around and still

there’s a lot of people watching, “Go back to your businesses before I blow up

this whole place!” they move their feet sprinting away.

The two girls stayed

which made me surprise, “What are you two waiting for? Leave!” I watch them as

they walk in their own ways.

“Young women this days,

so shameless!”

I saw an inn decided to

walk inside. “Miss, is there anything you want?” a young girl walked up to me,

she looks like a worker here.

“Do you have dumpling

and noodles?” I asked, she happily smile at me. “I’ll have them prepared.” She

led me to the corner near by the window.

I started to look

around while walking to my table. Looks like this place is more than a year,

the woods are still fine. The place has big space, I’m not surprise if there’s

more than people that I expect.

“Miss, you’re order.” A

guy replace two bowls of different dishes, I thanked and he walks away.

I grab my chopsticks

and took a bit of the dumpling, “It’s well cooked, and the thin wrapper are as

soft as silk.” I moaned while munching the food.

I place my chopsticks

on the table after I finish eating. I shot a glare upstairs, “It’s bad when you

keep staring at someone who eats.” I spoke loudly.

“Miss, Is there

something wrong?” a girl walked up to me, “Who’s that man upstairs, nearby the

window?” I asked and drinking the water she gave me.

“He’s the owner of this

inn, the girl in front of him is his personal maid.” I nodded quietly.

I stood up and starts

to walk towards the counter, “is there any room that is unoccupied?” the guy

look up to me and smile, “A VIP room?” I nodded.

He lend me the keys but

before I could get it, a veiny hand came and stole it.
