Charis pov.

Its been long since I came to my town, the last time I remembered been here was in the 1900s now its the 21centery everything has changed from the way it was before. Now there's more light on the streets and more buildings in the town.

They seem to be trees everywhere, oh it seems to be Christmas well that's what the humans calls it , its so funny how people believe in an old man that wears a costume and calls himself Santa clause and brings gifts to the nice children and not to the naughty once, well what can I say, I was always a naughty child but always got what I wanted.

walking through the street getting use to the environment, the sound of singing voices got into my head it was quite a distance from where I was but because of my super hearing sense I could hear it..

so I went to where the sound was coming from and saw it was coming from a church, I loved the way the children were singing it must have being the Christmas song have being hearing since I arrived here, I tried entering the church but like knife poking me in and out I couldn't get in, well no demon can get in specially not a demon king which I am.

I headed on walking and saw this restaurant and entered it there were lots of people inside and lights too like the streets so i went to sit at the corner were I can see everyone in the restaurant

it didn't take more than 2min for the waitress to come to my table and ask for my order , so I told her to name what's on the menu as she was calling the options , a scent distracted me from the waitress I turn to see where the scent came from and there I saw the most beautiful woman in front of my eyes , she was beautiful , with the most colourful eyes have ever seen ,hair so long and curly ,with the perfect body a girl could ever have, thick,i always love girls that are thick ,I could already imagine my future with her, carrying my kids and calling her mother.

'my demon kept saying mate in my head.'

I even forgot about the waitress because I could hear someone calling sir in my head then I snapped out of my fantasy world and cane back to the real world.

"yes sorry what were you saying" I said to the waitress

"have finished calling the options sir" the waitress said

"ok I will have a cup of coffee" thank u! that was all I could remember from what she said

"with cream or without cream" she said

"without" was all I said before she left to attend other tables

so I took my attention back to my mate and saw another guy kissing her I got so angry I felt my eye changing to pitch black my demon wanted to come out, but before I could do anything crazy I got a mind link from the underworld

'king the underworld is been attached by zorlocks'

the zorlock my worst enemy thinking their all powerful because they use magic but their not..(anger)

so I glanced at mate one last time and she looked very happy.

'are we just gonna let another guy take her from us' my demon said.

'no we will be back for her after the war let her enjoy this while it last time, 2days in the underworld is like 2 years in the human world so 2 years should be enough for her 2 enjoy him' with that I started heading to the door when I noticed her staring at me like she could feel the bond but didn't know what It was I gave her a smile and headed for the underworld.

angela's pov

it's Christmas eve already I quickly finished the cupcakes I planned to give the orphanage near my street.

I look at the time 7:00pm ooh! my God peter will be here in 30mins.

peter is my boyfriend we have being dating for a year now and today we are celebrating our one year and two weeks anniversary isn't that sweet.

I quickly went to the shower and got dressed ,within 25mins I was done , yes am fast at doing things.

it didn't take me long before I did my make up and gotten the cupcakes ready.

at exactly 7:30 the door bell rang I went to open the door it was peter all dressed up in a black suit looking handsome as ever.

"wooow! Angela u look lovely" he said

"not bad yourself" I replied heading to the kitchen to carry the cupcakes,

then we headed out.

it didn't take more then 15min to reach the orphanage.

I gave them the cupcakes they all Said thank you and sang for me a song it was lovely.

after me and peter went to our favourite restaurant we loved the most, its always filled with lights and I loved the Christmas songs they play every Christmas eve.

Getting inside the restaurant peter kissed me saying "happy one year and two weeks anniversary"

I kissed him back replying "you too "

we got a sit and sat down but I couldn't help noticed a guy sitting at the corner of the restaurant looking at me , he seemed angry for some reason and doesn't look like his from around here.

After a while he got up and walked past my table and I looked into his eyes and felt like have known him all my life and I could see my future in him but that's weird I don't even know this guy but then I felt drawn to him like his my life force and I needed him like. He must have being thinking am weird because of the way am looking at him , the more closer his near me the more am drawn to him.

when he reach the entrance to go out ,he looked at me and smiled then left me confused.

it was just then I realised that peter was telling me something and I wasn't listening.

I felt bad for admiring another guy while I was on a date with him talk less of our one year and two weeks anniversary , so I decided not to think about the stranger and concentrate on our date.

the date lasted for 2hours and we were already heading back home and dropped me home and went to his after making sure I got inside the house safe.

I entered the house still thinking of the stranger in the restaurant , this can't be happening Angela your relationship is perfect with peter you can't be thinking of other guy, I told my self.

Maybe I just need rest...yes that should do it, I got my self ready for bed and with in minutes darkness consumed me.

Charis's pov

The war is finally over with the zorlocks, they were stronger than I expected but not as strong as the demon king of the underworld.

I lost so many good and faithful warriors during the war for their labour will not go in vein for I shall provide shelter for their families and protect them for that shall be their reward.

I was still weak and powerless used all my strength in the war , so I decided to go and rest to regain my full strength.

After the rest I felt like myself again I was just very hungry so I checked the time.

wow! have already spent 2 days in the underworld already so it means in the human world 2 years has passed.

"time to get mate" my demon said

"yes it time, but first we must feed " I replied

so I headed down to the human world were they sell blood bags , I bought 4 drank it within a minute cleaned my mouth and headed back to the streets it looked a bit different from the way I say it two days ago the light aren't as much as before nor the trees.

I kept walking wondering were the people are because the place looks vacant , started hearing a sound coming from afar followed it and found out it was a party , so I guessed as much this were the people are but what are they celebrating I got closer hearing a count down of number it was going five, four, three, two, one...

"Happy new year everybody" the Dj of the party said

"yyyyyeeeaaah happy near year" everyone at the party shouted they were all drunk well most of them rubbing them self together I got sick I decide to leave when I heard the most beautiful voice but it was weak and scared

"leave me alone" the unknown voice

I followed the voice to were it was and saw the face have been waiting to see, it was mate but she was all drunk and fragile. Then I noticed a guy putting his disgusting hands on my mate I want to kill him for touching what belongs to me.

"leave her alone" I said in a death and commanding tone

"dude back off I saw her first she's mine" the drunk man said

"How dare u say she's yours I will give u say 2 second to leave before I tear u apart " I say it looking straight to his eyes letting him see my fangs

"am sorry man she's all us " with that he left

"yes she's mine" I said it looking at her fragile body lying on the floor she must have passed out how much did she drink.
