The Greedy Priest's Dream

Once upon a time, there lived a priest in a small town by the country side. He was a very miser priest. One day he recieved barley and wheat as offerings and after eating some of it he decided to store the rest in a pot. After that he hung the pot on a nail and placed his bed under the pot and fell asleep there.

As he was sleeping he began to drift away in the wonderful world of dreams and started to dream about various things.

As the night went on he started to dream about how when there will be a famine in the town, he will sell the barley and wheat he stored away at higher rates making a profit and will buy goats. After that he will raise the goats to have children and then he will sell those goats to buy a cow. After extracting milk from cow and selling the milk for sometime and use the money to buy a piece of land for farming. After that he will also buy a buffalo and horses.

The miser priest was now fully lost in the wonderful world of dreams. He began to think that he will use the buffalo to plough his land and sell the harvest for huge profits. And he will sell horses at an ever higher rate to earn more money and then use that money to buy gold. Then he will sell gold at a good price and use the money to build a big house near his land to live in.

He began to imagine after seeing his wealth anyone would want to marry their daughter to him. He began to dream about how he will marry a beautiful girl and have a child with her. After having a child he will name his son Michael and daughter Nancy

He dreamed about when his son and daughter will start walking he will watch him from afar and enjoy the moments. He also dreamed about how he will buy clothes and toys for his children and take them to carnivals.

He thought when the children will bother me, I will call my wife and lecture her about how she can't properly raise a child and as she will be busy with her housework i will go to her and shout about how she cant do anything.

As he was thinking about this the priest raised his hand up in the air and hit the pot filled woth barley and the pot breaks.

In this way the pot filled barley and wheat broke along with the priest's vivid dreams.

MORAL OF THE STORY--

So, from this story we learn that while doing any work we should never get greedy. As the fruit of greed is never sweet.

We also learn that we should work hard to fulfill our dreams and not hope that the will fullfill by themselves.

We also learn never be in a toxic relationship or marriage

The Talking Cave

A long time ago, there used to live a Big Lion in a dense forest. He was a very fierce lion famous in the jungle for his brutality. All the animals were scared of him in the jungle. The animals used to shiver at his name. The animals always lived in his terror. He used to hunt everyday on the animals of the jungle and fill up his own stomach. The lion killed everyone from young to old animals.

But one day the lion  roamed the entire jungle, but he couldn't find a single prey. After wandering around for the entire day the lion was extremely hungry and tired. At that time he saw a small cave. The lion thought why not wait inside the cave for its owner to return and whenever he/she come inside I will hunt them down right there and suffice my hunger. After thinking this the lion rushed inside the cave and waited for the cave owner to return. The lion waited for a long time for the owner to return.

The cave belonged to a jackal who had went out during afternoon. When the jackal was returning at night, he saw that there were footprints of the lion outside his cave. After seeing the footprints the Jackal was alert. When he focused on the footprints he noticed that the footprints were going inside the cave, but never were no traces of them coming out. Now he was assured that the lion was inside the cave waiting for him.

But for the confirmation of it the jackal thought of a way. The jackal shouted from the outside of the cave, "Hey cave! What happened?, Today you didn't call me. Everyday you call me, but today you are really quiet. Just what happened?

The lion inside thought," It could be possible that the cave always calls this jackal, but today because of me maybe its not calling him. No problem today I will call this jackal." After thinking this the lion shouted loudly, "Come my sweet friend jackal. Come inside"

After hearing the voice the jackal knew that lion was inside waiting for him and to save his life the jackal ran away. The lion waited for a long time for the jackal to come inside but it was all in vain since he noticed that the jackal has already ran away.

The lion was really angry at this and he ran out to find the jackal thinking he couldn't have gone too far. As he was chasing after the jackal, the lion ran into a human settlement. This resulted in the lion being hunted by humans and getting himself killed.

After this the animals in the forest lived peacefully.

 

 

MORAL OF THE STORY

1. We learn from the jackal that no matter how difficult a situation is a person should always deal with through patience and intelligence.

2. We learn from the lion that any step taken in anger is not good for us and can often lead to demise no matter how strong we are.

The Thief, The Priest And The Demon

In a village used to live a priest named Ram. He was very poor to the point that he had no clothes to wear and no food to eat. The priest somehow used to manage to eat little food from the offerings he used to receive. After seeing his conditions a man felt bad for him. In order to help the priest he decided to provide him with a pair of buffalos.

After thinking of the pair of buffalos as a grace he started serving the buffalos with full diligence. He used to love the buffalos so much that he used to eat less, but used to feed the buffalos fully. After having being served by the priest for a longtime the buffalos were once again healthy. But one day a thief placed his eyes on the two buffalos and he started thinking of ways to steal the pair of buffalos.

After thinking of various plans during night the thief decided to go to the priest's house to steal his buffalos. But on his way their the thief met a vicious demon. The demon asked the thief," Where are you going so late at night?" the thief replied with." I am going to the priest's house to steal his buffalos (and sell them). After listening to the thief the demon said," Come on, I will go with you as well. I am hungry for a few days now. I will eat the priest to suffice my hunger and you can take the chance to take his buffalos."

The thief thought that there will be someone for the way to go together, so there is no problem to take him with me. After thinking this the thief took the demon and reached outside the priest's house.

After reaching the priest's house, the demon said," First let me eat the priest and then you can take his buffalos with you." The thief said," No, first I will steal the buffalos and then you will eat the priest. If because of your attack the priest wakes up, I will not be able to steal the buffalos."

The demon and thief had a long argument like this. No one was ready to listen to each other. The priest woke up after listening the demon and thief argue. After seeing the priest awake the thief shouted," Listen priest, this demon is here to eat you. He has tried to eat you several times but I always stopped him."

After listening to the thief the the demon also shouted," No priest, I didn't came to eat you, instead I came to protect your buffalos." After listening to the two the priest had suspected something was wrong. After sensing the danger the priest quickly picked up the nearby staff and chased the two of them away.

MORAL OF THE STORY

 We learn that we should work according to the situations, just like in the story the priest listened to the thief and demon and for self-defense he picked up the nearby staff and chased them away
