My friend Yoshi, and I are at his house studying for a up coming maths exam. or should I say helping me study because when it comes to maths I have no idea what I'm doing.

"Aaahhh!!! why is maths so hard, No matter how many times you show me I just can't get it, it's like your talking in a different language"

"Hahahaha! it's not that hard, you just have to practice some more"

"Easy for you to say. your a friggin maths genius... I know how about when we're doing the exam you just give me the answers? like if it's "A" you scratch your head and if it's "B" you tap the table"

"No, way Yuliy I'm not helping you cheat! your going to study and pass this exam by yourself, now let's get back to work!"

"Awww! your no fun at all Yoshi, why do you have to be so mean"

"Yuliy, focus!"

"ok, ok!"

just then my phone pings, my eyes goes wide as I read the text my friend Goro sent me about another werewolf attack...

A group of high school students were attacked a few hours ago by a werewolf, some of the students managed to get away, but unfortunately two of them weren't so lucky.

"Hey, Yuliy, are you okay? you look upset all of a sudden"

I am upset why are these werewolves going around killing people for no reason? werewolves are all evil, nothing more than cold blooded killers! but I better not say anything to Yoshi, he hates them more than I do, after all his best friend was killed by a werewolf, it would only make him angry.

I look up at him and try my best to smile.

'It's just Goro, saying he's sorry he couldn't come over to study...I'll put away my phone, so we can get back to studying"

"oh, ok...for a second there I thought it was news about those monsters killing again, all they do is kill...when I get my hands on the monster that killed my friend I'll make him pay!!"

He was so happy and laughing a minute ago, now he's upset, I notice his hands clenching into fist. Yoshi is usually a very calm and caring person who doesn't behave like this, he only gets like this when it comes to werewolves...

I look at him trying to find a way to change the subject.

"Uh, yeah, I know what you mean...so umm...what do you say? are you going to help me during the exam?"

"Yuliy!"

He unclenches his fist, and he's back to normal

"Come on Yoshi, just this once? no one will find out I promise, what do you say?"

"I said no so get back to work, and I dont want to here another word from you!"

"okay, fine!!"

Thank you Yulily... I almost lost it there for a second.

After studying some more with Yoshi, we went to bed... I decided to stay at his place since it's was already dark by the time we stop studying

Monday

"How did it go Yuliy? do you think you did good on your exam?"

"...well-"

"Of course, he did good Goro, I'm the one that helped him study after all"

"Yeah, your right Yoshi, with you as a tutor. I'm sure anybody would pass even Yuliy!"

"What's that suppose to mean?! I ... get... good grades...sometimes! right Yoshi?"

"....Well-"

Yoshi? Yoshi come on tell him...hey where are you going, don't just start walking. stop walking away, YOSHI!"

"Hahahaha! see even Yoshi agrees with me, Hahahaha!"

"Goro, Stop laughing. you guys can be so mean sometimes!... anyways are you Guys heading home now?"

"Yeah, I'm going home. there is this new video game that came out and I really want to play it...oh shit, I really have to go I'm suppose to meet a friend of mine, that's going to play the game with me...see you tomorrow guys!!"

"Haha, same old Goro... how about you are heading home now Yuliy?"

"No, I'm going to the library, I have a project I need to finish up"

"I would go with you but my dad wants me to help him with something"

"It's fine I can go alone, it won't take that long"

"Okay, but call me when you get home, and be careful on your way home. There's been a lot of werewolf attacks lately"

"I well...I have to go now, bye!"

2 hours later

sigh, that took longer than I thought. as I walk alone in the park, I decided to text Yoshi to let him know I'm on my way home, but as I was about to take my phone out of my pocket a dark figure with red eyes appeared out of nowhere and comes straight at me, claws bared!!

i-it can't be...a werewolf...this is no time to be frozen, pushing down my fear, I get in a ready stance, time to put my martial arts training to work!

Best to go on the offensive, I should go for the legs to avoid his claws, I move forward, crunching down and thrusting my leg out. as I spin around aiming for his legs, he jumps avoiding my attack...he's fast!

before I could think of another attack, he had me pinned to the floor, I struggled to get free but compare to this monster I barely even move, he chuckles and rises his hand above his head about to swing his claws down on me, is this how I'm going to die? I closed my eyes preparing for the pain, but it never came

When I opened my eyes I saw a man yanking the werewolf off me, I watched him in surprise. he is dressed in all black with black boots with a cross around his neck

Wow...he's hot...wait what am I saying, this is no time to be thinking about something like that. we're still in the middle of a fight

the man draws a sword from his side and went straight for the werewolf stabbing him in the heart, the werewolf let out his last cry as he tumbles to the floor, lifeless!

"Um...t-thank you for saving me, may I ask your name?"

he places his sword back into it's sheath, attached to his waist. before answering

"My name is Luke"

"Luke...uh...I'm Mih..."

before I could finish my sentence a another werewolf showed up out of nowhere just like the one before, and went straight for Luke this time. before I even have time to act, Luke cut one of the werewolf arms off and stabbed it in the heart, and just like the one before he let's out a cry and falls to the ground, lifeless

"Wow...that was amazing, how can you move that fast? I didn't even see when you left from in front me!"

"Training"

"So if I train harder I could move like that someday?"

"Yeah, probably...anyway your not hurt are anything are you?"

"No, I'm fine"

"Then I'll be going, and don't go walking around so late at night by yourself, it's dangerous"

"Wait!...why don't... you stay at my place for tonight? my house is just a block away, and it's already so late...you can leave first thing in the morning"

"You don't even know me, what if I'm a murderer"

"Your not"

"And how would you know that?"

"Because a murderer would've just left me for dead instead of saving me...and your here talking to me and you still haven't kill me, so that's a good thing"

"Your a strange one, fine... I'll stay at your place... but don't trust somebody just because they saved your like, got that?"

"Okay!"

......

after walking for a little while, we reached my house where I saw a figure standing outside my front door. as the figure slowly turned around I realize who it is

" Y-Yoshi? what are you doing here?"

"I came to look for you since you didn't called are picked up your phone and I realized your lights were still..."

He paused realizing that there is some standing beside me

"Who is he?"

"Oh, his name is Luke, Luke this is my friend Yoshi. he lives next door"

Luke or Yoshi didn't say a word to each other, instead they just glared at each other

"Why is he with you Yulily?"

"...well...um... you see, i"

I can't tell Yoshi I was attacked by werewolves, he would be so upset

"He was attacked by werewolves and I saved him"

"WHAT?!"

Thanks LUKE!! now he's angry, what do I do?

"Is that true Yuliy?!"

"Yes, it's true, but I'm fine Lucke came just in time to saved me. so don't worry!!"

Yoshi looked from me to Luke, with a look in his eyes I have never seen before
