Love From Afar
Prologue
It was my first day at school..
I was six years old stepped into the school for the very first time in my life
It was also my first tome i get separated from my parents. I was anxious, as most of the kids
I was walking around.. i start regretting coming, I should’ve stayed home, with my parents
I was on the verge of crying, everything was new to me and I thought i’d never make through this day.
That face that changed my life upside down
His eyes were as blue as the ocean.. god i almost drowned
His blonde hair.. that was moving in sync with the wind that was hitting his face, even though it was messy and covering his forehead
It was enough to make me fall head over heals for him
That was the moment i knew i can survive
If it means seeing this magnificent masterpiece
From Afar
A golden ray hit his face.. it made him turn to the other side so his sleep won’t get disturbed
Just when he was about to again fall in deep sleep a voice echoed in his room.. Liam whined when that voice interrupted his dreams
It seems like he was having a very beautiful dream that he wished he’d never wake up from

Why do you have to do this every morning
Liam
Please give me 5 more minutes
Liam
*again closed his eyes and tried to get back to his dream land*
Harold
You’ll be late from school
The word “school “ rang in Liam’s head as an alarm that woke him up immediately..
Why would he go back to his dreams to see his prince when he can just go to school and see him in reality right?
And the only thing that concerns him about “school”
Ellis is the boy he fell in love the first time his eyes laid on him.
He can still remember how many times he rubbed his eyes the first time he saw him just so he can make sure what he was seeing was real
Ellis is the boy that made liam’s heart skip a beat for the very first time
He is the boy that made Liam sweat and shake in nervousness whenever he was around
He is the boy the gave Liam a very weird feeling in his heart and also in his stomach.. he was never able to explain those emotions
But now he grew up to know.. all these emotions, palpitations, sweating and the shaking.. they all fall under what we call “Love”
Liam now understand his feelings, he’s indeed in love with Ellis, he fell in love with him from the first sight
It was from the first sight
Since the day liam saw Ellis
He made sure made sure to not miss a single day of school.. there was days when he was sick , tired or even had events but he still didn’t miss a day just to see his love
Liam woke up quickly and did his morning routine.. he then went to the kitchen his father had the breakfast ready for him to eat
He ate hastily and walked out the house.. he was excited to go to his school
But as i said before, it was never about the school. Rather it was about that specific guy that stole liam’s heart

you didn’t even finish your plate
Liam gave his father a warm hug and then headed out
Caleb was waiting for him in front of the door

good morning *said optimistically *

Just half of your energy in the morning

That’s all i need to rule the world

Maybe it’s not the energy the your missing *said teasingly*

You just need a reason the make you want to wake up everyday

come on walk faster we’re gonna be late

dude chill we still have time

there’s around 30 minutes for the classes to begin *said while looking at his watch*

ughh don’t you know already

ooh *face palmed himself*

your Prince Charming will be practically his piano at this time *said dramatically*

yeah yeah make fun of me as much as you want

but am not missing that

if you love him that much why don’t you just talk to him

seriously you’ve been in love with home since i can remember *said seriously*

yet you’ve never talked to him not for once
Liam
loving him from afar is enough for me

now move your *** or am gonna kick if we got late
Saying this Liam start running ..
Caleb sighed and start running behind him..
He got used to this.. everyday Liam makes him run all the way to the school just to stare at Ellis who he doubts that he even knows about Liam’s whole existence
Dreams
They finally reached the school
Caleb was panting while getting support from the wall near him, he was trying to catch his breath from their long run
No matter how many times he begged Liam to slow down, Liam would just ignore him and run even faster
Of course Liam wanted to reach the school as soon as possible, his heart was pounding.. but it wasn’t because he was running
It was because of excitement to see Ellis.. he’s been in love with him for almost 11 years now, and this became his daily routine.. but still, his heart would beat with the same rhythm it did when he first saw Ellis.. that excitement never faded on the contrary it was elevating by every passing day
And Ellis’s beauty was growing day by day which was drowning Liam more and more making him drunk in love
Liam headed directly towards the music room as usual
he stood behind the door that was slightly open and start peaking on the guy playing the piano
Ellis was playing like a professional, his eyes were closed, his thin long fingers were used to the piano keys
He was letting those notes hit his soul.. refreshing him, giving him a different kind of beauty
He was so immersed in the sounds coming out from his piano, that everything around him seemed to disappear
Liam was also absorbing that delightful melody.. making his heart dance .. only he knows how much that piano relaxes him, he feels at ease whenever he hears it.. everything seems to fade when he watches Ellis and his mind is only occupied with him
While liam was drooling over Ellis he noticed someone coming to the room so he hid immediately
The guy entered, when Ellis saw him he stopped and looked at him, and Liam was already cursing that guy who just interrupted Ellis
Dylan
sorry i had some things to deal with
Ellis
we don’t have much time for the competition and you’re delaying us
Dylan
come on man i said am sorry
Dylan was ellis’s partner in the competition.. Liam already knows that.. he watched ellis for a very long time and he already knows so many things about him
When ellis first sat on the piano, he was alone.. something attracted him towards that instrument.. of course his first attempt was a complete failure but he enjoyed it
Ellis wasn’t alone as he thought
There was a little kid hiding behind the door, watching him closely with shiny eyes..
Liam watched ellis grow, he joined his journey secretly, he was always there, but sadly ellis never saw him
Ellis was the top student in the school... he was the top in everything studies, sports, and even arts and music .. he was the definition of perfection
He played the piano and Dylan was the singer..
they aren’t friends they are just a team practicing for a competition that was obviously important for ellis. They’ve been practicing for a month now and the competition is next week
The bell rang.. ellis was walking toward the door so Liam start running away.
It was finally lunch time.. of course Liam was sitting in a place where he can see Ellis ..
Ellis was sitting alone reading a book

you don’t have to rape him with your eyes *rolls his eyes on Liam*

how can someone be that beautiful *said with dreamy eyes like a fan girl*

*sighs sadly* i wish i had the courage to talk to him
Caleb
or the courage to move on maybe?
Liam
he’s just so out of my league

Buy come on, is it that bad to dream

no there’s definitely no wrong with it

just don’t fly to high

Or the fall will be hard and painful

no and that worries me
