Li Shen Fei was walking cheerfully in the street, heading home from school. She is 17 years old now and next month will be her birthday.

Li Shen Fei said while walking " Adulthood here I go."

When she is near to her house, she saw a man snatch a old womans wallet.

She immediately run to catch the man.

Luckily she learned taekwondo and know how to defend herself.

When she catch the man. She kicked him and lie down on the ground and get the wallet of the old woman.

" Here is your wallet grandma, Be careful next time." She said when she gave the wallet

"Thank you young woman." The old woman said and left the scene

After that she called the police to grab the man who is seriously hurt because of her kick.

After few minutes.

"Get that man, but before you put him in jail treat his wounds first." she said and left the scene.

" Miss can you come with us to give a statement?" The police said

"Can I just give my statement here?I need to go home now, my mom said we have a visitor today."

Few minutes later.

"Thank you Ms. Li but next time you should just call peoples attention, you are still a kid."

"Sir I'm not a kid anymore." she said

After that she left the scene and immediately walk home.

But before she got home. . .

"You changed a bit."

Li Shen Fei turn around.

"Old brother, MingHao" she was shocked when she saw his childhood friend who she also considered as old brother.

"I saw how you helped the old woman." he said

"Is that really you? You grow a lot. What is your height now?" she asked

"189cm" he said

"The last time I saw you, we still very young. How long we didn't see each other again?" Li Shen Fei said while thinking how long they didn't see each other

" 10 years." he said

"Right. I was only 8 years old the last time I saw you." She said

"Can we go inside now? Your mom is worried about you that's why she send me out to fetch you" he said

"So you are the visitor that my mom is talking about." she said

They now reach home and her parents welcome them. Li Shen Fei noticed that Ming Hao's mom was not there only his dad who greeted her with a smile.

"Where is your mom?" Li Shen Fei asked Ming Hao

Ming Hao instantly change from good mood to bad mood.

Shen Fei's mom grab her to her side and whispered to her.

"Don't mention about his mom." Li Shen Fei's mom whispered

"Why?"she asked

"I'll tell you later."her mom said

They all entered the house and sit in the living room.

"Shen Fei, you became a young lady now.Does anyone from your school is courting you?" Ming hao's dad said.

"No one." she said

"But do you have a male friends?"Ming Hao's dad asked

"Yes. We've been friends for 10 years." she said

"Do you have special feelings for him?" Ming Hao's dad asked again

"Uncle. Why are you asking me this kind of questions?" she asked knowing there is something between those questions

"Okay. I will say it now straight to the point, your parents already agreed on this." Ming Hao's dad said seriously

"Agreed on what?" she asked

"Arrange marriage. The two of you will get married." Ming Hao's dad said

"WHAT!!!??"the two of them react

"As you all know, Us. your parents we've been friends since we were child and we promised to each other that our children will get married." Ming Hao's dad said.

"I'm not 18 years old yet. What about my studies?My dream?" she said

" You will get married after your 18th birthday next month, You will still live with your parents until you graduate highschool besides Ming Hao still have some works to do abroad after that the two of you will be living in the same house here in our country at that time Ming hao will fully manage our business and you will still continue your studies and do what you want after college." Ming Hao's dad said

"I disagree on this marriage, you never tell me about this, Is this the reason why we suddenly fly back home?" Ming Hao said

"This is also what your mom wants we plan this long time ago." Ming Hao's dad said

"I still disagree." he said

"Mom Dad how can you agree on this marriage?What will my classmates think about me?" Shen Fei said

"For now we will not tell anyone about your marriage, maybe in the future you can tell your friends."her mom said

"Hey, old brother Ming Hao. Don't you have a girlfriend? Maybe she can help us"Shen Fei said

"He doesn't have any girlfriend. To be precise he never had one." Ming Hao's dad said

"Can I not marry him? I don't like nor love him. How can I marry a man who I don't love?" she said

"Yah! Little one, I also don't love you." Ming Hao said

"I know, the one you really love is . . ." she wants to continue her sentence but her dad cuts her off.

"Shen Fei, Its better for the two of you to get married."her dad said

"Dad. How can you do this to your precious daughter." she said

"It's for your own good." her dad said

"Own good?What part of this marriage is good for me?"she said

*Shen Fei leave them in the living room and went to her room.

She sat on the side of her single bed and stare at a picture beside her bed*.

"It should be you, not me." Li Shen Fei said while looking at the picture.

After Li Shen Fei's birthday, she also got married to Ming Hao. They didn't hold a wedding ceremony, they just registered their marriage with the help of their parents.

Shen Fei didn't tell her friends especially her male best friend Jiang Zhou, about her sudden marriage.

She doesn't want to be the talk of the town, why she got married early?

Especially their age gap is really huge.

Shen Fei continues her studies and still live with her parents while Gu Ming Hao went back abroad to learn how to manage his father's business as a successor and as the future CEO of the company.

Present Day

Li Shen Fei graduate from high school and she got accepted into her dream school.

She wants to be an architect and she easily passed the entrance exam.

Shen Fei was happy because her friends were also accepted into the university.

Jiang Zhou and Nana her two friends. Jiang Zhou also takes architecture like her while Nana chose Fine Arts, but they have the same classes.

Their first class will be next week.

Her two friends wonder why she will live outside the university even though there is a dorm provided for the students.

"Why you will live outside the campus? Why you need to pay rent even though we have dorms here?" Nana asked

"My parents have a relative who let me stay at her place since she was abroad for his internship." Shen Fei said while sweating

She and Minghao have been married for almost two years but this will be the first time they will live together.

He is already back and he is already the CEO of the Company, he is known in the country because of how big their company plus he has good looks, Smart, well-built body that's why he was a nickname of Mr. Perfect inside the company.

"Then we should visit you there every day," Jiang Zhou said

"No!" she immediately stops them

"Why?" Nana asked

"Because the owner of the house is very strict, she doesn't want anyone besides me to freely enter her house." she lied to them again

After they visit the university, they went home to prepare for their first day the next week. 

Shen Fei went home to pack her things to finally move to her new house and live with Ming Hao.

but when she got home she saw that all her things are already in the luggage.

"We are excited that's why we already pack your things." her mom said

"Are you guys not sad that your only daughter will leave the house and live with her husband from now on," she said while looking at her things.

"We know that if the two of you got into a fight, I know you will go here so we are not that sad. Your dad and I know you very well" her mom said

"Ma!" she raises her voice

"Be a good wife to Ming Hao" her dad said

" I'm still 20 years old, how can I be a good wife?" Shen Fei said

"Age doesn't define how a person can be a good wife or not." her mom said

Early in the morning

Shen Fei's parents accompany her and when they finally reach her new home, Shen Fei was hesitant to press the doorbell.

"You know the door passcode right?" her dad asked

"Uhm, but it's better for me to knock before coming in," she said

She will live now in a very expensive and high-rise apartment in the city.

After hesitating she finally press the doorbell and after few seconds Ming Hao opens the door for her.

"h-hi." Shen Fei said

"You should just open it, I gave you the passcode already." Ming Hao said while walking towards the living room

When Shen Fei and her parents entered the house they were all shocked at how big his place is, how expensive all the things in the house.

'' Little one, Are you listening?" Ming Hao turned around and look at Shen Fei who is busy being shocked

"I'm listening, It's still better for me to knock for you to know that I'm already here," she said

" I think its better for us to go now." her dad said

"It's okay you can stay for a while." Ming Hao said

" We must go now. We are late in our class." her mom said

Both Shen Fei's parents are teachers in middle school that's why Shen Fei is good at studying.

After her parents left the house, Ming Hao walks towards her.

"What are you doing?" Shen Fei stepped back

" Your room is there," Ming Hao said while pointing to a door near the living room.

"Okay." She said

"What's with that short response? Are you upset because we will sleep in a separate room?" Ming Hao teased her

"NO!, In fact, I feel relieved because I will not be sharing a room with you." Shen Fei said

" Really? Mrs. Little one?" Ming Hao said

"Can you stop calling me Little one already?, I'm already adult" she said

*Nothing happened that night when Shen Fei finally moved to Ming Hao's place.

They just quietly ate their dinner and to her surprise Ming Hao knows all the house chores.

He knows how to cook, wash the dishes, do the laundry and even clean the house. That day, Ming Hao take a one day leave from the office because he knows that was the day Shen Fei will move to his place*.

Next day morning

Shen Fei got out of her room and saw Ming Hao having his breakfast.

"I didn't know you know how to cook." Shen Fei said and sat down to eat her breakfast that Ming Hao prepared

"Did I say this breakfast is also for you?" Ming Hao said after he closes his ipad to read emails.

"No, but its in the table so I will eat it." she said and grabs another piece of bread

"Okay, I'll let you win today.By the way, I will go back to the company today. Since your first day is still next week, what are your plans before school starts?" Ming Hao said

" Go to mall and buy some books that can help me for my course then study it." she said

"Are you going alone?"he asked

"No, I will go with Jiang Zhou and Nana" she said

"Jiang Zhou? Nana?" he asked

"Oh. My two friends. Jiang Zhou and I have been friends for 10 years then Nana and I just became friends when I entered high school." she said

"Did you tell them about us?"he asked again

"No. If they know then at this moment the two of them are here having breakfast with us." she said

"You seemed very close with them"he said and take a sip of his coffee

"Hmm, especially Jiang Zhou. Our personality really match with each other, I'm not saying me and Nana are not. but I've been friends with Jiang Zhou so we know each other very well." she explained

"But at this point. . . You still don't have any special feelings for him?" he asked

"If I have, then I'm not eating breakfast with you right now." she said

"Why?" he asked

"why, what?" Sheng Fei asked and ate the last piece of bread from her plate

"Why you don't have a special feelings for him?" he asked again

" I don't know. Our personality match really well, we've known each other for years, we have each others back but it doesn't mean I will fall for him. I can't simply teach my heart to love him." Shen Fei said

"Then who do you like?" He asked

"No one. I'm busy achieving my dream." Shen Fei said

"Then if you will love someone in the future, what you will do? You are married already." He said in a serious tone

"We don't really love each other so its easy for us to separate." Shen Fei said

Ming Hao stood up and walk to his room without saying a word.

"What is wrong with you? You asked me so many questions then you will leave me here without saying a word" Shen Fei said

Ming Hao before he enter his room stop and look back at her.

"Then wash the dishes for me." He said and walk inside his room and lock the door.

At the office.

Ming Hao exactly arrived at 9 am, his assistant welcome him at the entrance.

"Good morning Boss Gu." Xian Wei said

*Ming Hao entered the company, the employees who saw him greeted him and can't hide their crush on him.

Ming Hao followed by Xian Wei, the two of them entered the elevator*.

"So how was the first day of living together?" Xian Wei asked

Aside from his father, Xian Wei also know about his marriage because Xian Wei is his cousin and was with him when they still in abroad, and so none of the employees know about his marriage, they all know that Ming Hao is busy and no time to be in a relationship.

"Still the same when I was living alone before, its just that I suddenly have a pet dog at home." he said

"Pfft. I suddenly had the urge to personally and immediately meet your wife." Xian Wei said

"Then come with me after work."he said

The elevator arrived at the floor where his office is located.

The two walk towards his office.

"How? We always work overtime your little wife must be sleeping already when we leave the office." Xian Wei said in a low voice

"Be careful of your words, someone might hear you." He said

"No ones around us. Besides its natural for you to have someone right now, you are not young anymore."Xian Wei said

" Its natural for me, but what about little one?" Ming Hao said and opened his laptop that was on the desk

"Still calling her little one?" Xian Wei asked and sat beside his table

"I'm used to it." he said while looking at his emails and reading it one by one

"But why are you here? Not busy enough?" he said again

"Okay. I'll go now" Xian Wei said and suddenly stop walking and turn around

"Did you inform your little one that you always work overtime?She might wait for you tonight. Remember you are not living alone now, you have her already,there is someone who waits you at home." Xian Wei said and leave him at the office

Ming Hao stop browsing his email and grab his phone beside his laptop and dial Shen Fei's number.

"Why did you call Mr. Old one?" Shen Fei asked

"Old one?" He asked

"You." Shen Fei said

"I regret that I call you." He said

"Then why did you call me suddenly? I'm on my way to meet Jiang Zhou and Nana." Shen Fei said who is in the bus and on its way to meet her friends

"You might wait for me at home, I call you because I always do work overtime, I rarely leave my work early." He said

"Who said I will wait for you at home?I also have my own works to do so waiting for you to come home is definitely not on my list." Shen Fei said

Ming Hao suddenly grip the phone tightly as if it was a stress ball.

"Okay. I'm just saying it incase. That's it. Bye." Ming Hao hung up the phone and dialed Xian Wei's number

"Comeback to my office." *after he said that he hung up his phone again

On the other side Xian Wei feel cold. Colder than the temperature in Alaska*.
