In year 2327, earth population decreased to 30 millions people because of World War III and since monsters started invading the world. The scientists has created magician called Incasys stands for Instant Calibration System. Since the world has become peaceful for awhile, They started the academy for next generation magician.

It is a job of magician to protect the citizens with the military. Thus, This story is all about how a student. Survive his whole entire days.

"My name is Hachi Muzamaki, I'm . I live alone for awhile now. I always wants to get a great scores at least once. But...Having a lot of people's around me. Scares me!"

When he was walking people were murmuring around. He was too scared to fight them. He was too weak and scared. But one day, his life changed.

"Help! The monster arrived!"

"What?!"

And then the nearby Incasys were fighting against it. They were a talented. While he just got out from the bookstore buying books.

"Today, The math problems tomorrow history..Eh? A little kids? A monster?!"

And then he saw that the monster almost hit the little girl. He then came to the scene and protect the kids.

"Ahh!!"

"Get down! Armament, Hero Vanguard!"

And then he transformed into his armours and protect the kids. He take them to safety and then there was a rubble that was almost hit a child nearby.

"Ahh!!"

"Kid!"

And he protect the boy. He told the boy to go find his mother. His body was bleeding and hurt. The kids went to their parents. He couldn't just stand there and not doing anything. So, he tried to get his Ingalis. Ingalis is a sacred weapons that will materialize after the owner was blessed. But didn't success. He couldn't fight but he still fighting the monster using his pure strength. It able to damage the monster bit by bit. Then, the monster got his attention. He was squashed by the monster and dead. Is what people think. He hold the monster feet and try to push it over. But then he is on edge of death. Because he is unable to fight.

"Hachi Muzamaki, Do you want power...knowledge...Just say it..I will grant it."

"I...Just want..A power..To save people."

"Then let me grant that wish. As for the payment..You will be on despairs. Will you take it?"

"If it's can give me power..Yes.."

"Wish granted..Be bless by the god, Hachi Muzamaki."

And then he suffered from a painful despairs. It gave him a lot of powers and knowledge after receiving the pains. The monster still not giving up. He then saw a system called Asterisk Hero. He just accept it and then a weapon materialized.

"Ingalis! Activate!"

And then his armour changed into something better. And he got a shield as his weapon.

"Hm..Shield is enough..Ooh!"

And then the monster died in an instant. His armours got levels and has been raised. He then retrieved back his books and go home. The parents and the kids were giving him a gratitude for saving their children. Even though, he is not in the television. He was acknowledged by the people he saved. He didn't ask for that.

And then on the next day, he start to realise how weak he is. So, with no wasting time. He keep on training each day. With no equipment or armours. And start learning martial arts such as kendo, judo, karate, aikido, jujutsu, kenjutsu, kyūdō and iaido all alone using the technology to experience more about the weapons and skills. He can grasp everything easily. He was quite scared of people. But since he has trained he has changed. From a monster looking to a fit person. He learn how to lose a lot of weight to not scares people. But the opposite happened.

"Oh my..Who is that guy? He is so handsome."

"Isn't that chair...Hachi Muzamaki?! He will be dead if that guy come.."

And after hearing that, a boy came.

"Are you a transferred student?"

"Um..um...No..."

"But..I never seen your face around here.. What's your name?"

"M..m..my name..Is H..Hachi..Hachi Muzamaki.."

And they were surprised.

"No way! That's really you?! You looks so handsome!"

"Um..Um...Please.. Don't hurt me.."

"I.. I'm scared of people..So I don't know how to say.."

"Y..yes..It was because..I was scared.."

The boy was surprised. He was covering his face.

And then they went to the arena.

"Alright students! Get your pair! You will be fighting each other with your Ingalis. Get into your armaments!"

And then since he used to train alone. He transformed alone and train how to use his shield. People were laughing because his Ingalis is a shield.

"Hahaha! Seriously? A shield? What can it do! Hahaha!"

He was scared and just go away from the society. This time, he tried to learn to lose his presence. So, nobody will notice him. Is what he thought. A person came and tried to challenge him to battle with them.

"Hachi! Come fight me! I will destroy you! Loser!"

"Hachi..Go..To the battle area. Fight him."

And then he had no choice but to follow.

He got into a trouble that he have to fight using Ingalis.

"Alright..Both participants ready? And now..go!(Sorry Hachi..This is the only way I can do to get mad at you.)"

He heard the teacher voice. He then went inside his head with no consciousness.

"Am I a bad person..Am I at wrong here..Why me..Just why.."

"Hachi Muzamaki...Can you hear me?"

"That voice..Who are you really?"

"I...am you. But from the future. I come here to get you to reborn as a different person. (This is my mission as one of them..)"

"What does that mean?"

"Let's say..When you're on battle and on the verge of death or become unconscious."

"Okay?"

"Then, I will come take over your body. Fight all I can. I was much stronger than you afterall."

"Does that mean..You can take my place whenever I call?"

"No, you dumb head..I can only get into your body after you lose consciousness or almost dead."

"Anyway..That boy is coming.. I'm telling you..That he is stronger than you- No..The whole academy is stronger than you."

And then the boy hit him with his Ingalis.

And then he bash the boy to the wall. They were surprised by his strength. They suddenly look at him.

Because of his scares to people. He ran away. And then it's another day ends. On the next day, he ate so much that he turns fat. They look at him with disgusted face. He then lose a friend. He didn't care.

"Hm.... I've gotten fat. Well, let's go training."

And he went alone. He thought he want to go training. But then a special drive came.

"This is?"

"That is fat burner skills. Use that to digest it into muscle. It will allows you to rank up your body quality and while at that, you will suffer from pains."

"Ooh.."

And he use it. It was really painful and he returned back to how he used to be. He then thinking a great idea. He bought a lot of chocolates and candies. The him from the future was confused why he did that.

"Why..You buy a lot of chocolate.."

"Well...Listen to this..Each time I got fat..I can use this fat burner skill right?"

"Yes.."

"Then, it will rank up my body..Right?"

"Yes. What're you trying to say?"

"I'm saying..What will happen if I ate and got fat. And then repeatedly doing it?"

"W..wait..How did you come up with that ridiculous idea?! Even I didn't know!"

And then he repeatedly continue until he discovered he no longer able to get his body to become stronger by losing fat with no training.

', It is self sufficient. many people people misunderstood what he said and thinking it was right to get stronger with strong ability. But the thing is..His words actually meant self sufficient. Meaning. What you think is your own choice. What you be..Is what you become."

"Damn..You sure got an insane brainpowers."

And then he change his class into star magician. Being said, there is no star magician left in the world. He had to find his way to get stronger using the magic. He thought himself that has he become stupid because of powers. But he didn't want to doubt himself and started on his journey to get stronger. His academy is having a tournament contest. He didn't even come to any good strength or even power.

"Heh..The trash is here."

"He look at me...Gulp..Did I do something wrong.."

And then the tournament started. His class had to choose one that will fight in the tournament. He didn't want to fight. He tried to give excuses. And he went to find about the Star Magi in the whole time he had.

"There is nothing...Sigh.."

"T..teacher..Well..Actually."

As he explained, the teacher told him that he have no point of living anymore. He didn't get discouraged. He tried to research. Use his sufficient knowledge about magic.

"Hm...Think...Think.."

He keep pushing himself as hard as he could. He lose consciousness but still keep thinking.

"Hey! Why did you lose consciousness!"

"Ah sorry... Don't worry..I will control it.."

"How..."

"Look.."

And he still moving his arm to wrote some stuff. He wasn't the strongest or smartest. But he know, if he wants to save someone. Pain is the way..

"Wait..Really?! What do you know about Star Magi?!"

"I heard there was ancient words..Right?"

"Ancient words contains old records. Right?"

And a star connect together form a certain being.

And he able to use the magic. It shows where everyone position and future positions.

"It.. It's working..So..Star Magi...Is something that you need to do with.. Astronomy..Times..Space..Outworld. Something nobody imagine..I see. Alright..I still need to learn more."

And he tried to use his Star track as much as he can.

And he look at his watch. It was morning. He rushing to the school. And then start his research about astronomy, history, mathematics, science, chemistry, physic and his magic. People look at him like a monster.

"Alright..I understand this now. What should I do..Ah..Bookshop! Let's go there and buy some books. I might have a clue in this power."

And he went to the bookshop. The clerk looks at him asking the other clerks but didn't able to.

"Well..Guess I have to find it myself."

"Um..How may I help you?"

"Hm? Ah..I just want to find these books."

"Oh.. It's at that row."

"Thank you."

"My name is Ichika. You?"

"Hachi."

"Alright..If you need anything else. Call for me."

"Right. Thank you then.."

And he went to look. It have a lot of hard subject. He know it will be worth to do it. And he took them. He purchase the books and went home.

"Now..That I have these..I can now understand what it have to do with star magi."

And a monster arrived again. The people there already evacuated like usual. But some kids was left behind. The kids was almost stomped. He stopped the monster.

"Human are so selfish..Kids..Come here..I will protect all of you."

"Mhm!"

He tried to take as much as he can and bring them to safety. He use his armaments and his Ingalis to protect the kids.

"This way.."

And then he saw some parents were shouting calling their children names.

"Please sir! My child is in there!"

"Sorry but can't do."

"You monster!"

And he come out bleeding a bit by bit. He put the kids to their parents and say.

"Here is your children.."

As they all get their children. One of them asked him where is her daughter.

"Daughter?"

"She work at bookshop.."

"Do you mean..Ichika?"

"That's her name!"

"That means..She didn't come out yet?!"

And he went back to the building. Started shouting.

"Ichika! Are you in here?!"

But nobody answered. He use his Star Track. And found her.

"Mom.."

As a rubble tried to bury her. He came and shield her.

"Star Barrier!"

And that makes an absolute defense for her. He then grab her.

"You alright? Miss Ichika?"

"Hachi?"

"Yes.. It's me Hachi..Well..We will get out soon-"

And a rubble block their way. He found a small gap. Letting her go first.

"Miss Ichika..Please go first..Your mother is waiting for you."

"My mom?!"

"Yes..Now go.."

"But you!"

"I will be fine. I have teleportation device."

"If so..I will go then.."

And then as she is out. The building collapsed. The heroes are still fighting the monsters. And he was undeniably in death center.

"Haha..Guess..Being a real saviour..Is my only dreams..I must save everyone..Even if it means my own death. Well..My teleportation device has broken..Now I have to break this wall on my own."

And he bashing the walls and got through from there. But bleeding badly enough. A monster fall on him. He use his shield to defend himself.

"Nothing! Can't yield! My resolution! Argh!!"

And he suddenly say a word unconsciously.

"Star..Devourer..Black hole."

And then he destroy the monster core and the body become really light. He then went to the outside.

"Mister!!"

"Oof..Ahaha..Kids..Please don't do that to me."

"Sorry..Mister! Are you okay?"

"Yeah..But I will have to go now. I need to learn.."

"Mister! How can I be strong like you?!"

"Haha..Simple..Just think what you want to protect. You still young."

And he walks away bleeding. And he went to home.

And an unknown girl was sleeping next to him.

"Toel?! That monster? Well..My name is Hachi."

"Okay! But why I'm in this form?"

"Hm..I don't know. Well..You can just go now."

"Hm..Since this house is big enough..Well..I guess..You will live here."

She was very happy to hear it. And he make dinner for them. She was really hungry. And he asked her.

"I want to know..Why did you destroy the city?"

"I..I don't know..But there was someone orders me to do it."

"Is it command?"

"Something like that. We all heard 'Destroy humans, they're dangerous being.', like that."

"Hm...I think..I know what would you be then.."
