It was past mid-night and i was cleaning the last couple of dishes. I have been working for more than 20 hours today, I really needed some sleep. I finished cleaning the dishes and sighed now i can get some sleep.. finally..

I am an omega of the Heather's pack, my parents are warriors in the pack. I don't know why but no one loves and wants me here. I am often called names, and sometimes beaten up to... I don't want to be here, but only one thing is keeping me from leaving that is the idea of finding my MATE. I know that he will love me and take me away... I smiled at that thought.

Just a week more lana and we will find our mate, he will love us and cherish us

I walked over to the store room which is also my bedroom that the alpha said that I'm no more worthy of the trash that is kept here. So i have to stay here in the dirt and dark. I am really scared of the dark but i can't go against the alpha's order. I walk inside the store room and saw all my things are scattered around... this is done by some cruel members all the time to trouble me.... it's not difficult to sort things because all i own is a couple of baggy old clothes, an alarm clock, a torned rug on which i sleep, i don't even have a blanket to keep myself warm during winter's. I clean up everything and go to sleep.

...A WEEK LATER...

I woke up with a smile on my face which does not happen at all. I am happy because today is my birthday and i will find my mate i quickly get up and take a shower in the common shower which is for the omegas. It's five in the morning so no one will be up right now.

I went to the kitchen and prepared breakfast for the pack. In an hour i have the whole thing ready bacon, eggs, toast, juice and apple pie. I hear footsteps i arrange all the things in the table and i go the corner of the kitchen to hide myself because they don't like to see my face in the morning. All the pack members settle down in the dining table and serve themselves. I am hungry too but I am not allowed to eat breakfast, only lunch and that is two pieces of toast with a pea size chicken piece and a cup of water. They give it to me so that i don't die. After everyone is done they leave for school or for work or whatever they have to do.

I cleaned up the dishes in the sink. After i am done cleaning them i go to the rooms to clean them. When i reach the second floor I smell a fresh smell vanilla and mint, it's very refreshing. Bella starts to howl happily, i think i just found my mate. I followed the scent which lead me to the alpha's room. I touched the door knob to open the door and as soon as i do that i fell a pain in my stomach but i ignored that pain and put a fake smile on my face. I don't want my mate to see me in any pain. I opened the door and.....

I opened the door and my smile fell off my face when i see my mate who is supposed to love me is butt ***** on top of a similar butt ***** girl whom i recognized as eliana the pack's favourite person the alpha's daughter.

They both sensed my presence and look at me. Eric the beta looked at me shocked and frowns while eliana covers both of them with the blanket. Realisation hits Eric and his face shows rage and disgust towards me. Tears are flowing down my cheeks by seeing my mate with another she-wolf, i leave the room and run towards my room and cry. After 10 minutes, the door opens revealing Eric. He looks me at the floor and without warning started kicking me everywhere, then a punch on a face and then kick punch.... it's go on untill i fall limp on the floor. The last words i hear are more painful from the beating i just received for no reason.

"I Eric William reject you Alana as my mate". He spat. "I don't know why moon goddess would do such a mistake my pairing me with a trash like you. I have a true mate and that is Eliana, she is going to lead me to the alpha position and keep me happy and satisfied which you can never do" he continued. Then i blacked out.

I feel like my life is slowly being sucked out of my body, leaving me more lifeless then i was before. Being abused and not loved is a different thing but being rejected by your mate is an entirely different thing. A week has passes since that day and no one knows what has happened. Eric had threatened me not to tell anyone and now he beats me openly and no one does nothing about it, they join him sometimes in beating me. My life is worse than it was. I tried to kill myself sometimes but bella didn't let me. I have to cope up with all this and survive. I am afraid the men that beat me, the women that burn me, everything. I don't react and silently keep bearing the pain they inflict upon me and hope that death is finally bestowed upon me to release me from here.

...DAMIEN'S P.O.V...

Sometimes i think i have the worst case of bad luck in the whole entire universe. I have to work non-stop pack meetings, traveling to other pack, different events in which Alpha's are forced to go to, etc.. I am a cruel and dangerous Alpha i agree, but i don't want my pack to suffer, but still a very important part of me is missing. My mate, my pack's Luna. I am 22 now and i am still looking for her. I think i should just give up. I have traveled to other packs and territories and hoped to find her but i guess i have to stop now.

Today is the get together of the Alpha's of different packs. It is held every year at a different pack. This time it's at the Heather's, honestly i am not the fan of that pack. I have heard the Alpha was the Beta of that pack and received the position by mating with the Alpha's daughter which is very cheap of him, because she is not his real mate. I stand infront my full view mirror and look at myself when i am satisfied with my suit i walk in the closet for my watch, wallet. I looked at my closet and sigh. About a month ago i was running around the city border when my wolf started screaming mate in my head and i was this close on finding her. But i lost her scent and in hopes of finding her i emptied half of my closet. I take my necessary things and exit my room with my stone heart face, nobody has seen me smiling except for a few close ones.

I meet my Beta outside the pack house and we reached our destination in an hour. We exit our cars and were welcomed by Alpha Eric and Luna Elaina, we greeted each other and were soon joined by other Alpha's and their Luna's and Beta's. Drink and snacks were served and all were engaged in small talks, i was incredibly bored and needed to get out of here. No one was talking to me as they were terrified of me and i intend to keep it that way. I mind linked Nate my Beta that i am going out for a stroll.

I excused myself, i was finally out of their. I walked out and instantly got lost, this place is like a maze. I don't know how but i ended up in the kitchen. I looked around and caught a scent, honey and cinnamon.

MATE

My wolf yelled in my head. I started doing a happy dance in my head, i frantically looked around but couldn't found anything. Then i focused on the scent, it's coming from the cabinet in the kitchen but that's not all that i smell, the scent is mixed with the metallic scent of blood. I mind linked Nate and in 5 seconds he was with me. I quickly opened the cabinet but what i saw broke my heart.....

I carefully take her tiny body in my arm and her body was covered with her own blood and bruises were on her body, her breath was short. I took her unconscious body out from there and went to the living room, Nate following behind me. As soon as i entered i heard people gasp, i laid my Mate fragile and petite body down on the couch. Someone call the doctor, i yelled at them who were just staring at my unconscious Mate in shock.

After a minute or two a lady doctor came in. She pulled the chair beside her and started to examine her, after examining her she called for us. I ran towards my Mate and held her hands instantly. " What happened to her is she fine, when will she wake up " I asked the doctor desperately. " She is fine Alpha, she has multiple bruises on her body and i guess the injury on her head caused her to pass out. Her seven bones are broken and she is malnourished due to which she is extremely underweight. Her petite body isn't helping either, and staying in the cabinet for too long cut off her oxygen supply temporarily and according to me she should gain her conscious by tomorrow morning ". She explained to me and i nodded, she bowed and left.

That's when realisation hits me, why the hell does she has bruises, why the hell was she in the cabinet and the main question who did this to her. My sadness was soon turned into anger on the thought of anyone harming my gem of a Mate. I instantly turned around to face the Alpha's specifically Alpha Eric " What is the meaning of this Alpha Eric" i said extremely calm. He gulped " ah.. she she is really clumsy and keeps falling o..on thin air, a..and about the cabinet some kids m..might have pranked her maybe" he said. " Who did this to her" i yelled, i had enough of his lies already, he remained silent." Answer the Alpha, who did this to our Luna " Nate yelled in protection of his Luna.

" Luna, she isn't the Luna, she is an omega she... " before he could continue i immediately grabbed his throat and backed him to the wall.

" A word against her and i will rip your head off your body " i growled.

Alpha - An Alpha is the most dangerous type of werewolf. When in wolf form they are noticeably larger. An Alpha is the leader of the pack of werewolves, who is to be respected by everyone in the pack and he has the authority to take the decision for his pack and pack members.

Beta - A Beta is the second in command to the Alpha. His mate is called the Beta female.

Mate - A mate is like your other half which is given to you by the moon goddess. A mate bond is for lifetime and can be felt when you turn eighteent. Usually everyone accepts his or her mate but it is very rare for someone to reject his or her mate and the pain of rejection is said to be unbearable, some wolf even dies due to it.

Moon goddess - She is said to be the mother of all werewolves. And she is also a goddess who the werewolves pray to.
