27th December' 2801

Today, I followed Mr. Whiskers out of the Garden and into the restricted area. He would not return when I called his name. All the adults were busy and did not notice me going through the big iron door with a sign saying 'WARNING! DO NOT CROSS!'. I went through anyway. It was dark and the air was a little musty on the other side and I could only make out the whitetail bobbing through the thick blackness. I followed it yet again calling him every now and then. Everything around me looked as if a huge fire had burnt everything into ashes. It looked nothing like my containment, where everything is immaculate with fresh clean air and no debris. Papa keeps it tidy, he does not like dirt At All. I finally discovered Mr. Whiskers but before I could reach him, I found myself suddenly tumbling downhill and plunging into some liquid. It rapidly filled inside me as I desperately tried to free myself from some kind of stringy ropes wrapping around my arms and legs. After wrangling out of it, I freed myself of this predicament and floated on to the surface taking in huge gulps of air. I examined myself and saw that I had cuts and bruises. Papa would not be happy. A single cut on my arm revealed a metal-like rod inside. Before I could determine anything else I heard Mr. Whiskers Meowing from above. I pulled myself up and over the trench and picked him up before heading back to my containment.

28th December' 2801

Papa was very mad and disappointed in me for leaving my containment yesterday. He fixed me up when I was Asleep and now I am good as new. I kept thinking of the outside place and how it felt so distant yet familiar to my memory, so I studied it while I was in the Garden again. Centuries ago it used to be a place similar to the ones we live in now, It was filled with plants and trees and had fresh air to breathe too, but after the things called plastics and trash polluted the land, an epidemic started, which killed everyone...This made me wonder if Papa and the Adults were the only living humans who survived.

29th December' 2801

I like Gilly Flowers, so I snuck one out of the Garden and took it in to the restricted area when no one was looking. Despite Papa's warnings, I went out anyways. I Immediately felt the dampness and darkness all around but found a path to follow. After a while, I reached a defoliated area and dug up a hole there then planted my Gilly Flower inside. I had remembered to bring some water, so I watered it until it looked peppy and bright. Despite the harsh environment that the plant was in, it looked beautiful. I loved it; and there is where it was going to stay, Forever.
