Sitting next to her father who was really sick laying in bed she felt sorry for him but she really want to cure him she hugged her father.

"Dad i promise I will get work soon no matter what you can depend on me" she tells him as a tear slides down her chick.

"I know Reva I'm not worried but proud of you" her father tells her as he realised her she wiped away her tear and look at her father who was pale and so thin his his black hair was a mess but his green eyes stared at her full of pain.

"Dad you are the only one i have left in this world i love you" she tells him as he smiles.

"i love you to but many you can make me some tea now" he tells her she smiles and stood up.

"Okay okay I'm going wait for me" she tells him and left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen.

The house was nice there was two bedrooms a balcony and a front yard as well as a nice kitchen and a living room with one bathroom upstairs. The house was in the family for about fifthy years. Reva was proud but sad that her mother left her in this tough world now she has to do everything on her own.

"Dad here be carefull now" Reva tells her father as she gives him tea he smiles and take the cup.

"Why are you always so worried you are just like your mother she was worried all the time" her father say she smiles.

"Dad i know you miss her but she doesn't want us to cry do you remember what her last words was?" She ask her father who looks at her sadly.

"Yes yes she said be good and smile and Reva look after your father for me" He say as he smiles weakly. Reva knew her father missed her mother to much they were so in love.

"So that words we both should keep in our mind we can't cry she is in a better place now staring at us from heaven" she tells her father who laughs at her.

"The funny thing is your mother told you that right?" Her father ask she frowns.

"How did you know that?" she ask him he laughs at her.

"Your mother always said an angel is staring at us from heaven but now you say she is staring at us that's to sweet of you indeed she was a angel and still is" her father say she smiles at him.

"Dad what do you want from the shop?" Reva ask her father as she stood up.

"I want nothing dear maby buy me some whiskey if there is money if not it's okay" he tells her she nods and left the room.

Not long after she came home holding a bag with whiskey and some snacks she loves ger father to much she doesn't care what anybody say beshides she know wisekey is not good for her father at that moment but he didn't drink for a few months.

"You are the best" her father say as she hands him his wisekey with some coke and a glass.

"I know but dad you shouldn't drink you know i dont want you to end up in the grave to" she tells him he laughs.

"I'm not going to end up in the grave I'm going to end up at the sea" he say. she looks at him and smile.

"Dad you sure have a humour but let me tell you it's not going to happen you are going to be at my side for ever and ever" Reva tells him her father laughs and shook his head.

Reva and her father watched movie the hole night but they both heard a truck pull up so Reva stood up and went to the window seeing a truck a people started to carry luggage into the next door house.

"Hey dad seems like we have a new nabour" Reva say while looking trying to find the owner but didn't see them.

"You should go say hi tomorrow morning it's to late now" her father say as she closed the curtains.

"i know dad take a rest now" she tells him as she covers him with the blanket and kissed him on the head.

That night she kept on looking out at the truck until they left but she didn't see anyone going in there. She soon decided to sleep peacefully wanting to meet her new nabour tomorrow.

The next morning............

Reva made breakfast for her father and her the morning but she made some warm chicken soup for the nabour as a welcome gift cause she couldn't give anything else.

"Dad your breakfast is ready" Reva say as she gives him his breakfast.

"I'm not hungry Reva" he say she looks at her father in concern.

"if you won't eat i wont eat i just want you to eat that is all you can't drink the whole time" Reva say to her father. He looks at her.

"Please Reva I'm not hungry not now give me some time to heal" he say she sat next to him.

"I'm hurting to but I'm eating i dont want to make mom unhappy if you really want her to be happy up there you should eat please dad" Reva begs her father he looks at her and took a bite of bread.

"If you are done call me let me get you ready for the day" Reva say as she went to take a bath and got ready for the day.

"Reva!" Her father shout. Going to her father's room she saw all his food on his plate was done she felt so proud and gave her father a hug.

"You ate finnally" she tells him he smiles as he realised her.

"Yes yes now help me start my day" he say she smile and went to get his brush and brushed his hair. Soon after that she gave him clothes to wear. Not long after that she helped him brush his teeth and helped him to go downstairs to the couch.

Reva had to help him cause her father struggles to walk as he had a accident after her mother died he was so drunk that time.

"Dad do you need some water?" she ask him as he reads a book.

"No dear I'm all good but tell me one thing do you think I'm a good father to you?" he ask her she looks at him and frowns.

"Why ask that you know you are the best to me that's why I'm here looking after you" Reva say to her father.

"But I'm sick and you can't look after me your hole live you need a live to you need to merry and have kids" Her father say she went to sit next to him and holds his hand.

"Dad i know you feel bad but i feel proud to be your daughter i feel proud cause i have you i feel proud cause i know one day I'm going to make you the most happy person ever and you know what marrige is not that important to me at all at this moment i need to care for you i meed to see your smile and that is. all i want" Reva say as her father had tears in his eyes she grabs him as he cries against Reva shoulder.

A few moments later she made tea for her father and turned to look at him as he was reading his book.

"I'm going out now i made you some sandwiches and your water is there" she say pointing infront of him. He nods.

"Be safe and don't come late i beeter eat to make you happy" He say she laughs and kisses him on his head.

"Love you dad" she say and left the house soon after. Holding the chicken soup she walks over to the nabour and rang the bell. It was to silent in there not even a sound putting the soup on the ground with a note she left after that.

As the day passes and night came she walked pas the nabour and saw her soup was gone and so was the note. they must have taken it she thought. As she went into her house her father sat there watching tv hut then looked at her.

"Reva how did it go?" he ask her she shook her head in disappointment.

"Don't worry dear you will find a job suitable for you soon" he say as she went to sit next to him and layed her head on his shoulder.

"Dad i am bad luck" Reva say to her father.

"You are not bad luck you are good luck do you know how much i love you?" he ask her she turn her head to look at him and shook her head.

He suddenly tickels her as she laughs really hard.

"Dad stop" She tells him as he and she lays back on the couch.

"Stop dad" her father teases her she laughs and puch him on his arm.

"Dad you seem more active then before" Reva tells him he smiles and looks at her.

"That's because those words you said this morning lightened up my day i really am lucky to have you as my daughter so you are not bad luck" He say as she hugs him.

"I'm starving" she say as she stood up. Her father looked at his book again.

She made dinner and soon after they both were eating like pigs. Usually her father does not eat so it felt so different but it felt like she has her old father back again. Doing the dishes and cleaning the house soon after dinner. At the time when she went to bed she was so tired and could barely even open her eyes so she decided to go to bed and have a good night rest.

The next morning.....

"Hi my friend is looking for a maid who can clean his home if you are interested please do call me with this number" a guy say giving her a pamflet. She looks at him.

"Is the work place far away?" she ask him he laughs and points to the new nabour. she looked in shock.

"Oh okay thanks" she say as he nods and went from home to home.

closing the front door her father looks at her. She reads the pamflet and her mouth hung open.

"What happened?" her father ask her she gives him the pamflet as her father reads. he turns to look at her with big eyes.

Her father looks at her in shock

"So much money just for being a maid?" he ask her she nods as she sits next to him.

"I don't know why the nabour pays so much money just for a maid i mean its like mind-blowing" Reva say to her father.

"We can live on this money maby you should apply for this job it will help us" her father say. She didn't really want to be a maid but with this much money it's a win win she can pay for her father for his illness and she can buy food and things she wants.

"You are so right i will call this guy now let's hope i get this job" Reva tells her father.

mobile ringing....

"Hello?" a guy say.

"Hi i live next door to the job you said the maid i am interested in this job" Reva say.

"Oh goodie then you can start tomorrow morning i will send you the keys of the house and come in any clothes you like" he say. She frowns.

"So fast aren't you suppose to interview me?" Reva ask him.

"No dear the owner only wants someone near him and you are the only so i will come myself to hand you the keys tomorrow okay now bye then see you" he say and hung up.

She looks at the mobile and jumps up and down. She has good luck she geuses.

"Dad i have the job" Reva say as she enter the house.

"Are you serious?" her father ask she smiles happily as she went to hug her father.

"When i get my salary i can cure your illness dad I'm so happy now" reva say to her father he smile and hugs her tightly.

as the day passes she and her dad watched movies played board games and ate snacks inbetween but Reva was really happy now she can start a new life she can even cure her fathers illness.

the next day......

"So this is the house" the guy say as they enter it was so full of packed things non of the furniture was packed yet.

"Oh okay i see" She say as they went upstairs. The rooms was empty and one room was locked. This house looked exactly the same as it is in her house so she knew that was the master bedroom.

"So you may work now i will leave and always lock the door when you leave at night" He say and left just like that.

She began to unpack everything. She moved the couches and all the other furniture by herself but that night late she was still busy so she decided to leave and finish the work the next day.

"How was it?" Her father ask as they had dinner.

"It was horrible the boxes and things wasn't unpacked and the furniture wasn't even moved i had to do it all but i have to do more tomorrow" she complains to her father.

"What the neck the owner could have done that himself but Reva don't work to hard if it's to hard you can quit" Her father say. She wants to but she can't it's only her first day and she needs that money.

"I can't i need that money dad" she tells him he shook his head and eat.

That night she couldn't sleep and decided to go back and finish her work while her father was sleeping. She unlocked the door and went in and saw all the work was already done. She can swear she didn't do it all.

Suddenly she heard a cough upstairs. The owner must be home she thought. Going upstairs she heard another cough but at the locked door. Standing there she knocks at the door but no answer so she started to worry. Slowly she opens the door and to her suprise it is open. She peeks into the room as it was dark. Seeing a shadow sitting on the bed but it was to dark to see the face but she knew it was a guy.

"Sir are you okay I'm your new maid i heard you cough do you need water?" she ask him. It was so quite as the guy didn't even move she decided to go and stand infront of the bed.

"How dare you enter?" He ask in a deep voice , she got the chills.

"Sir I'm sorry i thought many.." she stops as he coughs again. She hurry downstairs as she pours in a glass of water and went to his room as the light was on and he stood at the window looking outside.

"Sir your water" Reva say. He turns around and looks at her. He was to good to be true he had black short hair, fit body, brown eyes and was much longer then she was.
