Dear Class, you are going to have an exam at the end of the year and it is going to be different from the ones you had earlier. - said Mr. Aizawa.

Literally the whole class got shocked by the news, and started asking questions about the upcoming event, but the teacher said nothing to them.

- You'll know everything in time. The lesson is over.

As Aizawa walked out of class, everyone started talking about it.

Some of them suggested that they should practise together at the weekend.

Yaoyorozu: Sorry guys! I am busy on the weekend.

Mina: I'M IN!

Tsuyu: Sounds good. *ribbit*

Kaminari and Kirishima asked a few other classmates.

Uraraka: What a nice idea!

Jiro: Shoji and I are coming.

Tokoyami nods.

Todoroki: I need to visit my mom at the hospital, maybe next time.

The class went to the dorms and they started to talk about the possibilities of what could be in the exam. They came to a conclusion that it could be a fight against other classes or even against each other.

Deku:

I have no idea about the exam but I should definitely read through my old notes about the heroes' ability and power. It may help.

He started looking for his old notes from elementary school when suddenly his door opened. He turned his head and she saw Uraraka entering his room.

Uraraka: Hi Deku! Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to see if you are okay.

Deku: Umm.. I am! Just looking for my old notes to prepare for the exam.

Uraraka: You left from school too early, is something wrong?

Deku: No, I just wanted to do my homework in time so that I could start reading my notes.

Uraraka: Oh I see..

What a hardworking person, I have never seen him rest when he had something going on.. And to be honest.. U. A. always managed to make us have something going on..

Uraraka: Have you heard that we are going to do a practise together this weekend?

Deku: Oh, I didn't.

Uraraka: I think you should come! It is going to be fun plus we are going to practise fighting against each other. Kirishima and Kaminari assumed that we need to fight against other classes or with each other.

Deku: Sure, I wouldn't miss it.

Uraraka: Cool. Now I'll leave you alone. Don't forget to sleep.

Deku: I'm on it.

It is crazy how I managed to make friends here. They are all nice to me.. Except some of them, but.. Kacchan has always been rude to me so I guess I got used to it.

The girls made dinner and they all sit down in the livingroom to eat together.

Kirishima: Yo, Bakugo if someone had told me that one day you are going to be a social person, I would never believe them.

Bakugo: I'm not a social person, shitty hair. I just wanna show you guys who's the best.

Kaminari: Luckily, your attitude didn't change. I don't know how could we survive that..

Mina: I don't think we could have handle it..

Both Kirishima and Kaminari starts to laugh.

Yaoyorozu: I don't think we should bully him.

Kaminari: Ah, come on! He is always bullying others!

Yaoyorozu: Do you want to listen to his hysteria?

The class freaks out.

Deku:

I don't think it is okay like that. Bakugo has never been like that. He's calm and he doesn't even taking it personal that almost the whole class is bullying him. I'm sure something has changed.

Yaoyorozu: Let me see who has finished. I'll do the washing up.

Tsuyu: Let me help you. *ribbit*

After dinner everyone goes to their room.

Deku:

I need to sleep now, I am getting tired and it is almost 1AM.

Midoriya hears knocking.

Who is that? Everyone went to sleep.

Kirishima opens the door and he starts to whisper: Can I talk to you for a second?

Deku: Sure, what is it?

Kirishima: Have you noticed that something is going on with Bakugo? He is not as angry as he used to be. And not even as arrogant.

Deku: Yes, I have also noticed that, I just thought I might overthink that.

Kirishima: I don't know what is going on, and I am sure he is not going to tell us.

Deku: Yeah, I am pretty sure. I think we should do something.

Kirishima: Really? Do you have a plan?

Deku: Well.. We need to try to piss him off as much as we can and if he still remins calm we can take it as a sign, and after that, we nees to figure out something.

Kirishima: Good idea! Shall we tell the others?

Deku: I am not sure it could be a secret if most of them will know and.. It won't work if he finds out.

Kirishima: Right. When should we try?

Deku: After school, I don't want him to stress before the lessons or even feel sad.

Kirishima: You are such a kind person. I envy you.

Deku: But you are also kind!

Kirishima: There is.. Something that makes you irresistible.

Deku: Do you think so?

Kirishima: I do! Just look at the others' reaction when they talk to you, I am sure you'll realise how much they admire you for who you are.

I have never heard such nice words before. Somehow it makes my heart melt and it is really hard for me to hold back my tears.. After so much time of bullying.. I finally have friends! And it is insane to think about the fact that they actually like me. It is just.. Unbelievable.

Todoroki:

The next day he wakes up in his room, and he reaches for his phone. He checked if he got any texts from his mother as usual, but there was no notification. (as usual)

He gets out of bed, stretches and starts to change his clothes. He picked a white shirt and denim jeans. His jumper is on the back of his seat right in front of his table where he studied yesterday.

He's going to take another exam at the end of the day, just like everyone else in the class, but that is something that gives him anxiety.

He walks out of his room and goes right to the bathroom to brush his teeth where he meets with Kirishima and Aoyama.

Aoyama: Good mohning Todohoki.

Kirishima: Oh, morning Shoto!

Todoroki: Hi guys.

They always wake up so early, I have never seen them oversleep or even waking up later than 6AM although the school only starts at 8AM.

Midoriya walks in and yawns: Good morning guys.

That's weird, he never wakes up this early.

Kirishima: How did you sleep, Deku?

Midoriya: I didn't sleep too much, don't you know why, Kirishima?

Kirishima: Absolutely no idea...!

Deku: My mom called me in the morning, we might need to cancel our plans today. I need to help her.

Kirishima: Oh, sorry to hear that. Can I help?

Deku: No, it's fine. I'll call you when I am about to leave, okay? Just be ready.

Kirishima: Okay, hope you can come.

Aoyama: What ahe you guys talking about?

Deku blushes, Kirishima hesitates.

Kirishima: Oh, nothing..

Sure it's nothing..

They went out to the kitchen, Deku and Aoyama started making breakfast for their classmates while Todoroki was on the phone and Kirishima went back to his room. Deku started talking to Aoyama and they seemed to have pretty good time together. After a while, the rest of the class has woken up and they sat down to the table to have their meal. Kirishima, Bakugo and Deku sat next to each other and they had a small talk while they were eating.

Bakugo is being less annoyingly childish and rude. It is weird.

Around 7.40 Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, Tsuyu, Jiro and Tokoyami went to school.

They talk a lot about the exams, I don't know why is it such a big deal..

Yaoyorozu: Todoroki are you excited yet?

Todoroki: What do you mean?

I zoned out for a second, I don't even know what they are talking about.

Yaoyorkzu: We were talking about the exams.

Todoroki: Oh, I'm not a huge fan of this exam.

Uraraka: Me neither, we know nothing about it, it freaks me out.

Tokoyami: I don't think this will be hard, just.. Not the usual.

Jiro: I don't think they make this one easy. We need to get prepared to further villain attacks.

Tsuyu: I don't think it will be about our fighting abilities. We have trained a lot to exercise and improve our quirks.

Jiro: Right, but villains do exist. We should be ready for them even if it's not about fighting. They are started to appear out from nowhere and they seem to be strong.

Tokoyami: And they are in a coalition.

Yaoyorozu: You are right, I don't really know what to expect from this exam.

Here we go again..

They finally entered into the class where Iida Tenya was already sitting at his place. They all said hi to him.

Iida: Good morning guys.

He is also weird. He used to be strict and distant but.. This is way more than that. He used to be like: WhY aRe YoU gUyS LaTe?! YoU NeEd To Be HeRe 20 MiNs BeFoRe ClAsS..

Everyone is super weird today.

Bakugo sat next to Kirishima an right behind him, there was Deku. This is also new. Usually Deku sits nex to Bakugo and Kirishima isn't in his place right now either.

Todoroki sits in the back, in the middle between Jiro and Yaoyorozu.

Aizawa still haven't said anything about the exam.. Another day can go with stressing.

When Shoto finally got home he saw Deku, Kirishima and Bakugo argue. Midoriya and Kirishima are up against Bakugo, but he barely talks.

This is weird. Bakugo is acting weird and so do these two nerds.

Todoroki went to Yaoyorozu's room to study for their written tests together.

Uraraka:

Midoriya is bullying Bakugo, but the weirdest part is that he doesn't do anything about it.

Kirishima: I don't think you get it. You always say you are better than everyone then where is he now, huh? Where is the well-known Bakugo Katsuki who beats everyone?

Deku: Kirishima..

Kirishima: Now, tell me!

Bakugo sits still in the couch. His face shows no emotions, but suddenly he started to speak.

Bakugo: I don't need to show it, you'll see.

He walked out of the dorm and sat down to a bench outside.

Deku: That was not nice!

He ran out to see if he is okay. He saw him in the bench and sat right next to him.

Deku: Look, I am sorry about it.. It was my fault.

Bakugo: No it wasn't. You weren't like that.

Deku: It was my idea.

Bakugo: What?

Deku: I told him to start bully you..

Bakugo: Why did you do that?

Deku: Look, you have been weird all day yesterday, and I just wanted to make sure you are alright.

Bakugo: By bullying me?

Deku: Right.. I know it sounds stupid.. But you have always been rude and harsh. I just wanted to make sure you are going to be like that again and I am not just an overthinker.

Bakugo: Wait, don't tell me you were actually thinking about this.

Deku: I was! Kirishima was also worried about you! That is why we wanted to like, tease you a little bit.

Kirishima opens the door and starts walking towards them. He seems pretty upset.

Kirishima: Bakugo I..

Bakugo: There is no need to say anything.. Deku has told me everything. It's fine. Really.

Todoroki:

He just entered into the livingroom and he had noticed that the others were missing.

Todoroki: Uraraka, do you know where are the others?

Uraraka: Shoji, Jiro and Tokoyami are playing together, Aoyama and Iida is probably sleeping, Momo was with you, and Tsuyu is taking a shower.

Todoroki: What about the boys? Kirishima, Bakugo..

Uraraka: Oh, they went outside.. I don't really know what is going on.

Shoto went to the window and pulled the curtain a little bit so he could see what is outside. Midoriya and Bakugo are sitting next to each other in the bench right in front of the entrance of the dorm and Kirishima is standing in front of them.

What the hell? Are they friends now? They must be talking about something serious. Bakugo and Deku has pokerface while talking. No laughs, no smiles. What are they doi...

Uraraka: Is everything alright Todoroki?

Todoroki: Yeah.. Um.. Yes I was just checking. I gotta go, see you tomorrow.

Uraraka: Yeah, good night.

Why are they talking? What can be so important? In the middle of the night.. I always knew I like him, but.. It makes me go crazy when I think about the fact that they spending time together. I just need to calm down and continue learning, that scares my thoughts away.

Todoroki:

The next morning for some reason the boys didn't show up. I mean.. Kirishima, Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki. Which is unusal because Eijiro and Shoto always wake up early. This time Koji and Sato made breakfast for the others. Since Sato is a huge fan of sugar thanks to his quirk, they made waffles. Almost everyone finished their breakfast when suddenly Kirishima and Deku appeared.

Kaminari: Good morning you sleepyheads.

Kirishima: You too.

Deku: Morning!

Kaminari: Do you know anything about Todoroki and Bakugo?

Deku and Kirishima looks at each other and shake their faces.

Kirishima: We went to our rooms right after we talked.

Deku: But it was just the three of us, I haven't seen Todoroki.

Kaminari: Right.. Interesting.

Jiro: Denki are you coming?

Kaminari: Sure! See you guys in school.

After they left the dorms Kirishima went to check on Bakugo while Deku visited Todoroki.

He was sitting in his chair in front of the mirror as he tried his clothes on. Somehow he wanted to look good today, but he didn't really know what to wear, so he kept changing his outfit. He wore a red and black checked shirt, he was about to button it, when someone knocked on the door.

Hope they don't want to come in, I'm not in the mood to talk.

Since, he didn't answer to the knocking, the door opened and Deku stepped in.

Deku: Oh.. Sorry to bother you, but you didn't come to eat. Is there any problem?

Why does it matter anyways?

Todoroki: I wasn't hungry.

Deku: Oh.. Okay. Are you coming to school today?

Todoroki: Sure, I just don't know what to wear.

Deku: This shirt looks good. Put on some black jeans, it is dripping.

I wasn't even planning to wear this but.. I guess I changed my mind.

Todoroki: Thanks.

Deku: See you in school!

In the corridor he meets with Kirishima.

Deku: Bakugo?

Kirishima: He's not coming to school today. You were right, something is totally not okay here. What about Todoroki?

Deku: He is going to come, he had troubles making his outfit today.

Kirishima: Why? What is today?

Deku: I don't know.

Kirishima: Weird.

When they arrived to the school almost everyone was sitting in their tables. Deku sat down right behind Bakugo's spot and started reading his notes. He started muttering when suddenly someone touched his shoulder. He turned around and it was Todoroki.

Todoroki: What do you think?

Deku: Awesome! I like this outfit.

This is what I wanted to hear. Wonder why are my hands shaking.

Todoroki sat down to his place next to Momo and Jiro.

Yaoyorozu: You look good today, Todoroki. Is it a special day?

Jiro: Yeah, this fit is cool.

Todoroki: Thank you. No it's not, actually.

I just wanted to look good. Why is that a big deal?

Aizawa entered the room and the lesson started. After classes Bakugo, Kirishima and Deku started talking while the others were leaving the classroom. Todoroki tried to pack his things slowly so he could hear some parts of the conversation.

Kirishima: Why did you skip the first 3 lessons?

Bakugo: It's none of your business.

Deku: The old Bakugo is back..

Kirishima: I'm serious, dude. You can't be missing classes, Aizawa will kill you.

Bakugo: It is not going to happen again.

Deku: Right, are you going to tell us what happened?

Bakugo: I already told you not to talk about it.

Kirishima: You told us you are going to!

Bakugo looks towards Todoroki and starts to speak softly: Not here..

Deku looks up and he makes eye contact with Todoroki.

He is looking at me. Shit, I can't be staring at him like that.

He looked away and Deku got back to the conversation: Okay, I gotta go, I'll text you guys in the evening.

Todoroki picked up his bag and left the room. As he was walking through the tables he could hear Kirishima asking, what is Midoriya going to do.

Why does this matter to you anyways? I should stop making it a big deal when really.. It isn't. I just like him for helping people, I can't be rude just because he tries to help others. Ridiculous.

He hears steps right behind him. The steps are getting closer and closer, suddenly someone touches his shoulder. He looks behind him and it is him.

Deku: Hey, can I talk to you for a second?

What does he even want from me?

Todoroki: Sure, what is it?

Deku starts panting.

What the ****..?

Deku: Can you.. Can you stop running..? I can't breathe.

Oh shit..

He stopped and waited for him to start speaking.

Deku: I wanted to apologise.

Todoroki: Why?

Deku: Because we started to talk about something you wasn't aware of. And Bakugo made it cristal clear that he didn't want you to hear it.

Todoroki: It is not your task to apologise for that and he is not supposed to do that, you guys were talking with each other I was just.. in a wrong place at a wrong time.

Deku: Well.. I don't think so. Anyways I didn't want to make you feel like you are the topic or something..

Todoroki: Thanks, it is a nice gesture.

Really I just wanted to be a part of something. Is it that hard? I mean I don't really have friends here. He was the only one who tried to act friendly to me but then I guess I just scared him away. Am I the problem? Is it true that I am cold-hearted and that's why people don't like me?

Deku: Well.. I gotta go, but we can hang out sometimes. If you are interested.

Wait, what?

Todoroki: Sure.

Of course I am interested.

Deku: Nice! I'll talk to you later, bye!

Todoroki: Bye!

He want to hang out with me. He want to spend time with me. Does it mean that we are friends now? Sometimes I feel like I am the antisocial in the class and I don't doubt that but.. I just don't know how to do that. It is not as easy for me as for Deku. He is always laid-back and calm, he always knows how to talk to people. He understands them. I don't. People just want autograph or help. Like Yaoyorozu. She never told me that we should hang out or something. She just wanted to learn. Guess I am better off alone.
