I opened my eyes slowly. My body hurts... I looked at my hands, they were handcuffed. Yeah, I remember now..

Y/n: I'm sorry dad, I wouldn't go outside after school anymore!!

my dad kept hitting me.

dad: what, I can't hear you?

I didn't scream or apologize after that. I was so emotionless that I couldn't feel anything. I don't know when he left or what he said after he was done.

I was born in a very nice family with very nice people. Well, that's what everyone said. I don't know them. I didn't see them. They all left me here with this man. Before someone left me here they said, "you'll be in danger if you live with us. we have to keep you safe." My younger self believed that and left that house for good.

I go to a small school here. The people who left me sends this man I call my dad money for my living. But he uses it for himself. Now, I can't do anything I want. I have to listen to him and live here till I die. I am basically a prisoner.

People in my school also don't mix with me. The ones who talk to me just feel bad for me. "Hey y/n, did you eat?" "No" I said smilingly. "here have this" the girl said. I said thanks and left. I didn't eat those that day. I threw them out. I don't want to take people's sympathy.

My people left me not because they wanted to keep me safe. But because, I was apparently a bad omen. Sometimes, I think like that too.

I didn't realize that I slept again. I was actually tired I guess. I opened my eyes to a voice shouting my name.

??: Y/n, you ok??

I opened my eyes to see this guy squating in front of me.

??: Oh, thank god you're ok!

I sat up quickly. I was wondering where he came from. The room had only one small window. By his size I don't think he came in from there.

??: oh! right, you must be wondering where and how came from..

he paused.

??: my name's bokuto, bokuto koutaro. and I'm your...um what was I again?

Y/n: how'd you come in here? there's only one window in this room.

bokuto: ah that's a secret. what's your name?

y/n: y/n...

bokuto: your name's prettier than you.

he started laughing.

bokuto: I don't think you ate. will you like to eat now. I brought food. Oh no! your hands! sorry I was carried away.

he opened my hands gently. that was the first time someone was worried about me. to my surprise, tears came out of my eyes.

bokuto: heyy why you crying? everything is okay now (wiping the tears)

y/n: what do you mean?

bokuto: we're going to escape!

y/n: escape!

bokuto: yeah!!

bokuto reached out his hands towards you. you slap his hands away.

y/n: do you think this is a joke?

bokuto: huh?

y/n: what do you mean by we'll "escape"?! you don't know my dad, he'll kill me if he finds out!

bokuto looked bothered for the first time in a while.

bokuto: that man you call dad you know why he kept you here right?

you sighed

y/n: yes...I know

bokuto: and you still want to stay here?

y/n: he's still my dad...and I love him.

bokuto: *exhales* alright, I'll be off then.

y/n: wait-

bokuto disappeared. you didn't know if you wanted to escape. In the evening, you went out of the house to see if you could actually escape. Bokuto was still gone. you were walking, you kept walking and walking. you started walking faster by the time. when you almost got out of the neighborhood you felt you were doing something wrong. you realized that whatever he does he's the only one you have. you started walking back

you came in your house. your dad was inside of the house waiting for you. you were happy that your dad was waiting for you. I didn't do anything wrong...

dad: where were you?

he said in a calm voice.

y/n: *inhales* actually I went outside again dad. I know I shouldn't have but changed my mind.

dad: why did you go out?

y/n: to escape...

your dad came towards you and whispered, "don't you dare go out anymore, I need money alright? and if you don't stay here it's impossible. don't even think about stepping outside this doorstep."

he said those and went back to his room. you were heartbroken. you just sat on the ground and cried.

bokuto: tch, I knew I was right. how pathetic of you!

you looked at him teary eyed. you couldn't stop crying.

bokuto: y/n, let's go until it's too late now.

y/n: I'm scared...

bokuto: hahahaha, you don't have to be anymore, I'm here and I'll not leave your side.

you held bokuto's hand and ran away. you looked at him while running. he looked happy. you couldn't keep up with him. you were basically dragged by him. how did this happen to me? I'm running away with this guy I don't know. where will I go?

you two stopped at a bus stop. you sat at the stop.

y/n: where did you come from and why are you helping me?

bokuto: If I tell you you wouldn't believe me

y/n: is it that unrealistic?

bokuto: mmhm

y/n: it's ok, I'll try to believe it.

bokuto: *laughs* you're very cute did you know?

you looked away. you had a weird feeling in your stomach.

bokuto: I was sent for you. I'm your umm happiness!

Y/n: happiness?

bokuto: yeah! It's pretty complicated you wouldn't understand even if I explained it to you.

y/n: why is it something like a Disney movie?

bokuto: oh look the bus is here!

you both went inside the bus. The bus didn't have that many people. You were kinda worried. where will I go? who even is he? happiness? is that even a thing?

bokuto: hey, what areyou thinking about?

y/n: nothing...

bokuto: oh well, did you ever go out like this? like with your friends or family?

y/n: no, I don't have anyone in any of that category.

bokuto: I see. but now you have.

you looked at him, confused.

bokuto: it's me, I'm gonna be your family, and friends, and everything. but only if you don't mind.

y/n: why are you doing all these?

this time bokuto came closer towards your face. he was so close you could feel him breathing.

bokuto: because I want to be your happiness, your best memories. the memory you'll never leave. oh the bus is stopping

your heart was pounding hard. you didn't know what this feeling was. you felt assured. like someone cares for you for the first time.

you and bokuto started walking again. he was still holding your hands.

y/n: hey, you can let go of my hands now.

bokuto: why you don't like it.

y/n: why would I like it??

bokuto: well if someone like me is holding your hands I think it's a prestige. but I'll let go of it.

he let go of your hands. you both were walking. he was walking very fast so you couldn't keep up. right this man's tall and big. how could I keep up with him? you stopped walking. bokuto loojed back at you and gestured why you're standing still.

y/n: walk slow I can't keep up!

bokuto walked to you. again very close. he leaned towards your face and grabbed your hands.

bokuto: just say you want to hold my hand it's not that hard.

you didn't say anything as you were flustered.

you both arrived at a big house out of nowhere. you were shocked

y/n: this, THIS IS YOUR HOUSE??!

bokuto: yeah, it's pretty big so you'll have plenty of room.

he dragged you in. The inside of the house was even more insane. you never saw a house like this. bokuto took you to your room.

bokuto: this is going to be your room from now on. everything you need is here. in case you need anything call me there's a phone there. but...

he came closer to you. you backed off. you didn't realize but you reached a wall. he leaned towards your face again.

if I need anything I might call you too.

saying that he went away. you were so confused. why does he do that. and why does it feel like this when he does that?

you took a nice shower. you never took a better shower. you were squeaky clean.

you wore a nice comfortable outfit.

you came downstairs to have dinner. bokuto was already there sitting at the table waiting for you. he kept looking at you. you were confused and sat down quickly.

bokuto: you look cute.

you were blushing like crazyy. no one ever told you that you ever looked cute.

bokuto: and a bit sexy too.

you choked on your food. he quickly handed you the water.

y/n: you're not hesitant before saying anything huh?

bokuto: I mean am I lying? if you keep wearing stuff like that I might end up loosing myself.

y/n: shut up seriously.

bokuto chuckled and continued eating.

after eating you went to sleep upstairs. you were full. the dinner was so good that I didn't even notice how much of it I was eating. it's been so long since I had a dinner like this. you brushed off those thoughts and proceeded to sleep.

you opened your eyes. there was fog everywhere. you were standing on a foggy ground. where is this? you saw a figure coming towards you. as it came closer you realized, it was your father. you were so happy.

y/n: dad?

dad: y/n, come with me back at the house you used to live in.

y/n: but I'm actually feeling nice here. don't worry about me dad.

dad: *laughs hysterically* you think I'm worried about you?!! I just need my money! that's it!

he started to drag you. you wanted to get away from him.

y/n: NO!!

you looked around you. you were in the room of bokuto's house. was that a dream? you felt dizzy, almost wanted to cry. you got out of your room.

you were walking scared. someone in tge living room caught your attention. it was bokuto. you stood there looking at him. you went dowstairs.

bokuto's pov:

I don't why I'm not sleppy. it was a pretty busy day. this tv show also sucks, what even is this story. I hope y/n's sleeping tight. Should I go check? but I think she'll be scared. she's probably fine. I looked at my right and it was y/n. I sat properly.

bokuto: what happened? is there any problem?

you had a sudden urge to hug him, so you did. bokuto was caught off guard at first. but after some time he hugged you back.

bokuto: was the dream that bad?

y/n: how'd you know I had a bad dream.

bokuto: come on, we're soulmates.

you broke the hug and glared at him.

bokuto: ok ok chill. you can sit here until you feel better.

you nodded and sat next to bokuto. you were pretty sleepy. you were trying to figure out what to do.

y/n: bokuto...

bokuto: hmm?

y/n: I want to sleep with you.
