^^^It's a peaceful noon of the spring in northeast India. Flowers are blooming & spreading their soft smells in the environment. And the wind is rising and carrying some dry leaves in a very beautiful way. And a beautiful melody coming from the window of Mr. Nath, is just relaxing everyone's mind who walking on the street of Kunjaban. The Kunjaban Street is always looks the same. Old fashion wooden houses of late 90s, some old Acacia trees still holding their positions, a half-abounded post office still giving their service and A rest house which is kind of different from Kunjaban's environment. It kind of always stays out of the loop, spreading a pretty different vibe in the surroundings, almost like it's trying to tell you something. The building itself is complicated, a massive two-story building structure, with four big odd pillars in front of main gate, bright red colour, antique wooden doors and sliding windows and creepy blue lighting at night makes it different from other buildings and monumental structures in the locality.^^^
^^^Ankita moved here 6 months ago. She's a 16 years old high school girl living with her Father and Grandmother. She doesn't know anyone else in this locality that closely, even don't have many friends in her school. Here from the beginning she was curious about the Rest House building. Because she doesn't observed anybody staying here since she came here. Actually, only 15 families live here in this society and most of them are very busy with their daily life. The rest house building is pretty quite and silent. Her family just come to know that, the rest house building was established here right about 9 (nine)years ago by a Foreigner, and now it's out of service for last 5 (five) years, "which stands kind of odd since it looks pretty maintained & new". It's surrounded by high walls and the main gate is always open for anyone. It's very hard to see inside without stepping inside. But, Noone seem to be interested to see inside anyway!. There's only Ankita, who seem curious about it, Her home is situated exact opposite from the rest house and she's deliberately observing it regularly from her bedroom window with her curious eyes in her free times.^^^
^^^Some weeks ago or so, an unknown person about 40 (forty) came here to live in this locality. He seems so different from other peoples around. Ankita noticed him many times now, walking on the street infront of her home. He always comes in a same getup, a deep brown coat, with blue tie, a rough long cotton pant, black casual shoes and a british hat. He always carry a old fashion camera with him. He seems always thinking something deep in his mind and somehow he might be connected with the rest house. Because he always comes in a scheduled time from noon to evening, and walk on the street for a while back and forth, and stare at the rest house. like, he's waiting for something to happen or he's here to witness something important. Sometimes, he set in the post office stairs under the shade of a full bloomed Pink Trumpet Tree & start staring at a window of second floor of the rest house.^^^
^^^That one day, Ankita wake up early morning done all her work & after the lunch, she took her sketch book and started waiting for that man on the post office stairs. She started sketching that rest house window. when she observed it closely she found the window is pretty different from other windows of rest house. Unlike the other windows which looks pretty neat & furnished, this window has some different characteristics. With a small plant pot in the corner and a small old wooden doll right next to it, the window glass is full of rendom screeches and as usual looking like it's close for many years. After some time, her sketch was nearly over when the man arrived.^^^
^^^Hey young lady, it's looking gorgeous^^^
^^^the man complimented on the sketch.^^^
^^^Oh! It reminds me my childhood hobby^^^
^^^Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!..^^^
^^^The man said, in a deep hard voice.^^^
^^^Ankita surprised, turned to him & said^^^
^^^Good Noon, Nice to meet you sir.. very thank you!!^^^
^^^The man apologized for disturbing her with a little smile on face. After that, he started his daily work walk on street & staring at the window. She had lots of questions regarding the rest house, Any why he come regularly to observe it without a single miss?? she wanted ask him. But for that time she dicided to stay quiet. She continued her sketching. After about half an hour he stopped walking and come back to the stairs^^^
^^^I know about your interest in the rest house building!^^^
^^^The man said suddenly.^^^
^^^Ankita surprised again, She didn't expected this.^^^
^^^How did he know that?^^^
^^^She thought.^^^
^^^Then, He introduce himself as an article writer in "Lucky Magazine" at Kolkata another state in north India. And his name was Mr. Indroneel Lahiri.^^^
^^^My home is just right behind the rest house, come whenever you want..^^^
^^^He gave her a business card and left.^^^
^^^It was already late evening so, Ankita also left for home.^^^
^^^behind them,^^^
^^^The rest house window suddenly started shacking and vibrating lightly, after they were gone.^^^

And all the flowers and little plants are looking very fresh and healthy, seems like someone taking care of them on regular basis. She also noticed the main door, which was looking different than expected, the door painted in dark green colour and has a detailed wood crafted art of a young girl on it. But most surprisingly it doesn't have any single spot of dust even after closings of years,^^^
^^^Someone really cleaned that door recently... But, who?!^^^
^^^She whispered.^^^
^^^She also felt a creepy sensation of being watched by someone inside of it. So, she continued her walking to the Mr. Lahiri's house. After a minute of walk she arrived. Whole wooden structure, glass doors and windows, a short bamboo boundary around and the yard is full of dust and dry leaves.^^^
^^^When she entered in the house she saw Mr. Lahiri sitting on a rocking chair in his balcony and listening something on radio.^^^
^^^EXCUSE ME, Mr. Lahiri!!^^^
^^^Ankita called him^^^
^^^He doesn't surprised at all. He turned off the radio and instantly reached at the main door and opened it with a large smile on face.^^^

^^^He asked^^^
^^^—It all started five years ago...^^^
^^^She explained the whole story about her past.^^^
^^^Back five years ago, when Ankita was eleven years old. One day in the month of July she woke up on a hospital bed in Mumbai, with some blurry memories. A small bright white room, with a low selling and an anointing beep noise of observation machine. She remembered, she has been here for a long time. At least four, five days even more. Then the door opened and her father stepped into the room. Her father was a famous voice over artist in Mumbai. He was looking so sad, depressed and happy at the same time.^^^
^^^How's you feeling kiddo...?^^^
^^^He hugged her tight & began to cry.^^^
^^^— Dad...!^^^
^^^Why I'm here?^^^
^^^but he didn't replied to her any questions, he was silently locked in a position for a while. Then, he placed his hand to her shoulder and promised her that he'll tell her everything on the right time.^^^
^^^After some time Ankita discovered that, she has lost her all memories of past few months from that day. When she asked about her mother, he just informed her rudely that, she was gone someday in past those months. He warned Ankita to don't try to find her.^^^
^^^It was soo sad, the most bad times of my life I was in depression.^^^
^^^She said.^^^
^^^But whenever she tried to ask about those past days, about her mother, he just avoid her.^^^
^^^So, after some time, I stopped asking about my lost memories. But, I'm still searching by my own. I wanna know what happened to my mother.^^^
^^^Ankita said and got silent for a while.^^^
^^^Mr. Lahiri went to the window, and looked at the sunset outside, saying,^^^
^^^But, I believe he really have a great reason to hide the reality from you.^^^
^^^Yes you know, there's always a reason behind the all actions and happenings.....^^^
^^^You're also curious about that rest house building right...? Why...?^^^
^^^He asked^^^
^^^—I have a last blurry memory, about my mother. Where we are talking about Kunjaban.^^^
^^^And... that Rest House building seems so... familiar to me. Like I've been watching it since I was a kid.^^^
^^^Ankita replied.^^^
^^^Mr. Lahiri opened one of his old closets and pulls out a Azure coloured file from the countless files and books in it. He took out an old photograph from the file, showed it to Ankita and said^^^
^^^This is a very old picture...,^^^

^^^People always runs in a rush in their lives, without noticing the little enjoyable moments happening around them. Then they think why the another person is looking so happier than them!?^^^
That day, after a long talk with Mr. Lahiri, It was late evening. On the way home in darkness, Ankita saw a Great Yollow Headed Hornbill setting on a pillar of the rest house gate. It was creepy still in pose, staring at her continuously.
Seems like......, it's trying to say something...!
Ankita whispered.
Then, she noticed a figure running inside the house, she could barely see it in the blue lights of the garden.
Is that.. Is that a child out there...?
HEY! WHO IS THERE..!!
She shouted on him.
It was a childish figure playing around in the garden. And then,....... It just vanished in a glance of eyes. The Hornbill also wasn't there at all, it was vanished too.
Did.. you.. see.. something.. inside.....?
A voice came from her back.
She turned, and it was Mr. Nath, her old neighbor standing with a stick. She knows him as a neighbor & seen many times around but, this is her first time meeting with him in person.
Ahh! No! my imagination maybe!
She replied.
—Ankita right....? After a long time..! You really grown-up.. Happy to see you healthy.
It's feel like that night,.. Don't you think Ankita? Really peaceful and dark, the twilight has already gone....
Sometimes I really think if that happen again...!
Mr. Nath said, sadly by staring at the sky.
— What is he talking about? What night!!
A...! How he even know me!!
Grown-up??
Ankita was confused with so many questions in her mind. But, before she could ask something, he was gone.
...Several days passed......
Spring festival is coming and schools already declared the holidays...
One night, when Ankita was in deep sleep her bedroom window started vibrating badly. She woke up with a knock on the window, and when she looked at the window which was open, It was a little boy standing outside smiling towards her.
Hey......!! You are the new girl here, right....??
—His voice...., it felt so familiar to her. She might have heard that voice somewhere before but, can't remember where?
Who.. WHO ARE YOU..! AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE AT THIS TIME...?
—I'm the boy from the Rest House. I saw you watching me yesterday evening, Um.. did't you..? COME WITH ME, I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOUH...!!
CLOSE YOUR EYES!!
He jumped down by holding her hand tightly through the window.
Ankita get more scared because it was second floor's window. When she opened up her eyes she was standing infront of the rest house gate. The gate was wide open. And something was really odd with that very moment she could feel it. When she stepped inside, suddenly the insects stopped singing and the whole environment got tight silent, Even the wind stopped blowing.
You know? The sounds really makes things scarier then they actually dose.!
The boy spoke up from behind her.
I think you're feeling much relax now.., Hey, Now when you're here let's play together.
By saying that, that boy ran into the garden.
Ankita was still a bit scared, unable to understand what is really happening, She slowly followed him inside the garden.
These flowers, They're looking so healthy...
Someone must be behind this healthy looking garden!? Is that the boy? No! Not in the world, a kid in his age taking care of a whole garden on his own? But, I have to admit this is nice to walk in the air full of beautiful smells.
Come to think of it, It is kind of relaxing walking in a garden full of flowers at late night like a dream.
Like A Dream..
Yea... Is it a Dream? Am I dreaming? It can't be real right? Jumped from second floor window and standing here in one piece!.
—HEY GIRL...! Come here! You are so slow!
Come fast.!!
The boy called her from the other end of the garden. After crossing the garden, she found herself in a hidden place, that beautiful back yard of the rest house. A wide open area with a huge old dried pool in middle of it, surrounded by deep bushes of the garden and various large trees, totally unseenable from outside.
I didn't knew this house has a pool inside!
I don't think anyone even know about it!
It was looking so different from the rest of the garden. The yard was full of dry leaves with a thick layer of dust,
It seems like even the wind has'nt touched this ground for a long time.
literally kinda portraying the actual age of the rest house.
—It used to be very beautiful place just some years ago.... look...!!
the boy replied with a deep exhale.
Right after he said that, all the Doors and Windows started vibrating badly by making a irritating high pitch noise, they all opened at once with a big thrust of air.
.......................................
Ankita woke up next day morning, with a sight headache on her bed.
Wait.., is that all was just a dream?
Well, what else it could be. But, even it was almost like a nightmare, It was beautiful experience. But if it wasn't a dream then, That boy really got to be something...!
She left the bed in a blink of eyes to tell the whole story to her grandma but, she didn't believed her, saying it was just a dream. But, then she realised and went straight to the Mr. Lahery's, hopping he might be the only person who's going to belive this story of her. But when she just stepped out of her door, she saw Mr. Lahiri standing out side down under the Pink Trumped Tree suspiciously staring at the Rest house. When she saw upward at the window she got shocked too.
The window... It.., It's open!!
It means all that I saw last night was real in life. No doubts about that!
& also something is written there... (My Name Is Greel, see you again)
