THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW
year 1958
"Well hello there, M'lady." The guy with dark-brown hair, wearing a white button up-shirt with light brown pants greeted as he walked towards a girl.
"Oh, hi." The girl with black colored hair, wearing a simple yellow dress with buttons said while writing on a book.
"What are you writing over there?" The guy asked as he looked over to the book the girl was writing.
The girl didn't respond the guy as she is focused writing on her book.
"Alright so um, I heard from the students that there will be a science project and it will be done by pairs, for the upcoming Science Month here in our school." The guy sighed as he stopped looking over the book, then he looked at the girl.
"So I was meaning to ask you to be my partner for the project?" The guy nervously asked then she looked up at him.
"May I ask, why me?" The girl asked the guy as she looked straight at him.
"What do you mean, why me?" The guy asked as he frowned.
"Just out of curiosity because you are one of the popular guys in this school and you managed to asked a quiet girl like me." The girl replied in confusion.
"Come on, I am not that popular you know." The guy said as he smirked then the girl glared at him.
"Okay maybe I am, but you haven't answered my question yet." The guy said as he looked at the girl.
"You don't even know my name, Mr. Popular." The girl said in a sassy tone as he frowned.
"Well I pardon, Ms. Sassy or whatever your name is." The guy said as he moved his face closer to the girl.
"It's Juliet to you mister, and don't call me that ever again." The girl said as she sighed and put up her hand for a handshake.
"Well Ms. Juliet, my name is Travis. It's a pleasant opportunity to meet you." The guy said as he reached for Juliet's hand then they both shaked their hands.
"So now we both know each others' names, can you be my partner for the science project?" Travis asked as they both released each others' hands from the handshake.
"If you don't call me the nickname you gave me ever again, then I will." Juliet as she sighed.
"Great, so it's settled." Travis said as he smiled at Juliet.
Afterwards, the bell rang as all the students proceed to their respective rooms for their next sessions.
"It's nice meeting you Travis, I gotta get to class right now." Juliet said as she stood up, bringing her book and things.
"Oh please, let me walk you to class." Travis said as he helped Juliet with her things.
"Thank you but I can manage walking to class by myself." Juliet said as she smiled at Travis.
"No please, I insist." Travis said then they started walking to the English room.
"Thank you once again, Travis. See you tomorrow during the Science period!" Juliet said as she slightly grabbed her stuff from Travis.
"Likewise, M' lady." Travis said as she smiled at her then they both went to separate ways.
Timeskip to 4 hours later
"Hi Travis! Do you wanna play basketball later at my house? My mom will be baking cookies." Travis' friend asks as he walked towards Travis.
"Of course! Besides, I love your Mom's cookies." Travis replied with excitement.
"That's good to hear! Come on, let's go home already." Travis' friend said then they both walked home.
Timeskip outside Travis' house
"Hey, is it okay that I will change into my extra shirt first before we start playing?" Travis asked as he pointed at his house across the street.
"Sure, go ahead." Travis' friend said as he nodded then Travis directly went to his house and to his room.
He put down his bag and finds his extra shirt but then, he unexpectedly found something that made him stopped from looking for his shirt.
"Ms. Sassy's book?" Travis asked in confusion.
TRAVIS' POINT OF VIEW
I looked over my bag and all I see is this book that Ms. Sassy own. It is a brownish kind of book with the saying in the book cover, Diary of Juliet. I looked over my surroundings, checking if no one is around. Afterwards, I decided to open the book with a little hesitation.
In the first pages, she drew some people on it. Some are with her family, friends, then I saw a page of a boy but sadly, one fourth of the page is ripped so all I could see is the boy and girl then these words down below the drawing.
Juliet likes
Because of curiosity, I had to looked over to the other pages and see what I can find and there I saw a quote she wrote.
I blush to think what you have heard tonight. If I should you now for vows of love, I know you would say aye. . . but if you swear my love, you may prove false.
After reading that saying, I looked up then thought about it.
"Why is it familiar? Have I read something like this?" I asked to myself.
But then, I remembered one of my favorite poets of all-time. William Shakespeare. He is the one who wrote the play Romeo and Juliet.
"God why would I forget something like this?" I said as I did a facepalm to myself.
I immediately thought of why would she wrote something like that especially in her diary. I looked back at the ripped page where she drew a boy. His clothes are familiar as well as his face but I don't think I've ever saw someone like the one Juliet drew on this page.
"Oh Travis? He's still upstairs in his room." I heard my Mom talking to someone downstairs.
But I didn't bother to move, I was just stuck there thinking of who is the boy that my Juliet like. Wait, what did I just said? My Juliet? Then I heard someone coming upstairs as I was still there staring at the book.
"Travis, are you done changing with your extra shirt?" My friend asked as he walked towards my room.
"Not yet, but I will now." I stuttered as I quickly wear my extra shirt.
"What is that?" My friend said as he walked towards me then pointed at Juliet's diary.
"It's nothing at all, I swear-" I panickedly said as I stuttered then my friend grabbed the diary.
"Juliet's diary? Isn't this the Juliet girl you told me in the past two weeks? The girl you like since middle school?" He asked as he looked over the diary.
"Yes it's hers, Romeo." I sighed as I stood up then grabbed the diary.
"Why do you have her diary? And does she know about it?" Romeo asked as I put back Juliet's diary in my bag.
"I don't know, maybe it happened when I helped her by bringing her things as I walked her to class." I replied as I look up at him.
"Well, did you scanned through the pages?" Romeo asked.
"Of course, it's the girl I like we're talking about here, Romeo." I said as I did a facepalm.
"But what if its private?" Romeo asked as he frowned.
"If you have the diary of the girl you like, aren't you gonna open it?" I asked as I crossed my arms.
"I mean." He said as he nodded.
"So, what was in there?" He asked as he pointed the diary that is inside my bag.
"Some drawings, oh and one of it is a drawing of the guy she likes. She even wrote a quote from a play of the famous William Shakespeare." I sighed as I opened my bag and grabbed the diary.
"She's very good at drawing." Romeo said as he scanned through the pages.
"Oh so this is the guy she likes? I must say that he doesn't look anything like you." He said as he looked up at me.
"You don't have to rub it in, Romeo. I know it's a different guy and that's what I'm trying to figure out." I said as I grabbed the diary then rolled my eyes at him.
"Well in her drawing it says that he has a curly and thick hair. So maybe those are some hints." He said.
I looked over as I think of who is the mystery guy then I looked back at Romeo. What if it is-
"Travis, Romeo! It's getting dark already, will the both of you still play basketball across the street?" My Mom asked as she went upstairs.
"Oh yes, we will still play basketball Mrs. Johnson." Romeo replied.
"Come on Travis!" He said as I zoned out.
"Oh right, let's go!" I said then the both of us went downstairs.
Little do I know, I forgot about the thought I was thinking earlier.

Timeskip on the next day
THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW
Travis, Juliet and Romeo, along with the other students went to the Science room. Travis and Juliet sat down together as Romeo sat down on the same row with them and on a different seat.
"Good morning M'lady." Travis greeted Juliet as he looked up at her.
"Good morning Mister." Juliet chuckled.
"Oh before I forget, here's your diary. I think it slipped into my bag when I was helping you bring your things yesterday." Travis said as he grabbed the diary from his bag.
"I knew I forgot something. But thank you Travis, it's very nice of you." Juliet said as she received her diary from Travis then puts it back in her bag.
"Wait, did you read on what is inside?" Juliet nervously asked.
"Inside what?" Travis nervously asked as he scratches his head.
"The diary." Juliet replied as she glared at him.
Travis got nervous on what he is going to reply Juliet as he looked over Romeo, he didn't know what to do so he looked at the opposite side. Luckily their teacher saved the silence between them as she arrived in the room.
"Good morning everyone, please do settle down as we are now gonna begin our class." The teacher said as all of us paid attention to her.
Travis let out a sigh of relief that he doesn't need to reply to Juliet.
"Alright so today, I'm gonna discuss about the Science project that you will be working on along with your partner." The teacher said as she put down her books on the desk.
"So the project that you will do is gonna be an invention or something that will make a benefit for the future." The teacher said then the rest of the students gasped as they all look at each other because of excitement.
"It can be anything that you and your partner agree with, as long as it will benefit the future. I will give you all until next week Thursday to discuss with your partner and then on Friday next week all of you will discuss to the class your projects. You must include why you made this, what did you made out of it and how will this benefit in the future use." The teacher said as she walked around the classroom.
"Yes Ms. Stock." All of the students replied with excitement on their faces.
"Alright, I will dismiss all of you right now so that all of you could discuss with your partner." The teacher said then some of the students immediately stood up while grabbing their things.
"Hey Romeo, who will be your partner?" Travis asked as Romeo almost leave the room.
"Lauren. I already asked her to be my partner this morning before class started." Romeo replied as he walked back towards Travis and Juliet.
"Oh, I don't think I've introduced to you my partner." Travis said as he looked at Juliet.
"Romeo, this is Juliet. Juliet, this is my friend, Romeo." Travis introduced the both of them as Juliet smiled then reached her hand.
"I-It's a pleasure to m-meet you, Romeo." Juliet said as she stared at Romeo.
"Likewise, Juliet." Romeo replied as he reached his hand and the both of them shaked their hands then released afterwards.
"Oh by the way, I gotta go and leave you two-" Romeo teased them then Travis gave Romeo a sign to stop teasing.
"Leave you two discussing your project, obviously." Romeo said as he did an awkward laugh then left immediately.
"So, that's your friend, Romeo?" Juliet asked as she stared at the door where Romeo left.
"Yes, he is." Romeo replied as he looked back at Juliet.
"Let's start discussing the project." Travis said as Juliet looked at him.
"Sure." Juliet said as she smiled.
"So, I have an idea that we will do a spells thing just like the Gods and Goddesses in the past centuries." Juliet said as Travis frowned at her.
"I haven't thought of that but how is that possible? Like spells don't exist on this planet earth." Travis said as he crossed his arms.
"Don't worry, I am a master of these. Besides I have a book about it and it contains the ingredients and such more, then we will present it infront of class." Juliet replied.
"I somehow think it is a great idea but how is it exactly gonna benefit the future, Juliet?" Travis asked in confusion.
"Well it can benefit the future by making the planet a peaceful place. I know for sure that one day this planet we are staying will not be this peace forever." Juliet explained.
"I still don't get it why are we making some kind of spell, but I have trust in you so let's do it." Travis sighed as he smiled.
"Great! So, is it alright for you to come to my house tomorrow for the book? I remember it was in my grandmother's closet but I'm not sure it is there." Juliet replied as she fixed her things then stood up along with Travis.
"No problem, I will be there." Travis said as he smiled.
"Alright so it's settled." Juliet said.
"It is." Travis replied then they both smiled and decided to leave the room.
JULIET'S POINT OF VIEW
Travis and I are finally done discussing, I know my idea is crazy as it seems but I know this will be in a good use for the upcoming future.
But I can't still get rid of Romeo out of my mind. I knew from that moment that he is the same guy I met in the library years ago, and who would ever know that we would cross paths again. The way we shaked each others' hands awhile ago made me have butterflies in my stomach. At the same time, I did thought that Travis is sweet and all but I don't know, Romeo just hits different especially when I like him ever since.
So, I had no choice but to find him since I have nothing to do at this time. As I walked around the campus, I finally saw him playing the guitar and singing the song "You're my sunshine". Everytime I listen or hear to that song, it reminds me of a stranger playing the guitar of that song in the same day I met Romeo in the library.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." Romeo sang as he plays the guitar.
"You make me happy, when skies are gray." Romeo continued singing as he looked up at the sky.
Romeo and Juliet. I've always thought about that ever since the day I met Romeo for the very first time.
Flashback to 7 years ago
It was when we were in third grade, that time I went to the library and find some books to read. When I asked the librarian something, he had no idea about the book I was finding.
Until I looked around my surroundings and there I saw Romeo, holding the book I wanted to read. I immediately walked up to him and asked if I could borrow the book after him.
"Oh don't worry, you can read the book first." Romeo said as he give me the book.
"No please, you had it first so you must read it first." I chuckled as I give him back the book.
"I insist, please have it." Romeo said.
Afterwards, I thought of an idea.
"What about we will read it together?" I asked him then he nodded.
"Good idea." He chuckled.
As the both of us started reading the first page, someone unexpectedly ruined our first moment together.
"Romeo? Come on, let's go home. Mom's waiting for us." says the girl who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"Oh yes, I will be there, Mom." Romeo replied then he looked at me.
"I guess you will be the one who will read it first after all." He chuckled as he stood up.
"Yeah." I chuckled as well as he grabbed his things.
"It was nice meeting you, Romeo." I said then we smiled.
"Likewise." He said then he started walking out the library.
"I'm Juliet, by the way." I mumbled as I sighed and he left the library.
After that moment, I began thinking that I would've not see him again.
Present
As far as I can remember that was the first and last time I ever saw him in so many years. But now, he is a grown-up, still like the prince of my dreams. Afterwards, he stopped playing his guitar as Travis arrived. Because I was freaking out, I immediately left with no hesitation.

Timeskip next day at Juliet's house
TRAVIS' POINT OF VIEW
I finally arrived at Juliet's place, thinking of the project we will be doing if it is right or not. Somehow I think it's very dumb or maybe I'm not just used to these kind of stuffs.
I knocked the front door at their porch. Her house is quite simple, but honestly one of the good-looking houses I've ever seen in this state. Afterwards, I heard someone walking towards the door.
"You must be Travis. Please come in." a lady said as she smiled and opened the door for me while I go inside.
"I'm guessing you might be Juliet's mother?" I asked as I frowned then she closed the door.
"Definitely I am." She said as she smiled at me.
"It is very nice meeting you, Mrs. Fitzroy. Here is a homemade pie my mother made in our bakery." I said as I showed her the pie.
"Likewise to you, young man, and please send my 'thank you' to your mother." Mrs. Fitzroy smiled as she put her hands together.
"Please, let me bring the pie to our table." She said as she brought out her hands.
"Oh no please, let me bring the pie to your table." I chuckled as I backed away.
"Aww thank you, kind man." She said as she pouted then we both started walking to their dining table.
"No worries, Mrs. Fitzroy." I replied as I smiled.
As we arrived to their dining table, I slowly put the hot pie down, then started wandering their collections.
"You do have a fancy place, Mrs. Fitzroy. It's very unique." I said.
"Thank you for that, Travis. This house belongs to my grandparents several decades ago, it is one of a kind." She said as she walked to the kitchen then I chuckled.
"Oh and by the way, may I ask on where is Juliet? We are gonna do a Science project as partners for the upcoming Science month." I asked as I looked at her.
"I'm guessing, she's in her room-" She said as Juliet cutted her off.
"Hi Travis! I didn't noticed you were already here." Juliet said as I turned at her.
She is wearing a simple but fancy yellow dress with her messy bun hair. With there, I started at her like she is the prettiest girl I've ever seen.
"Oh, uh, yes I just arrived her couple minutes ago." I replied as I started blushing.
"Juliet dear, Travis brought a hot pie, do you want to eat some before you two start working on your project?" Mrs. Fitzroy asked as she walked out from the kitchen, bringing three white plates and some utensils.
"I would love to, mother, but I'm not hungry for now." Juliet replied as she smiled.
"Likewise, Mrs. Fitzroy." I replied as I looked at Mrs. Fitzroy.
"Please, call me Julia instead, I am not used to people calling me Mrs. Fitzroy." Julia chuckled.
"Oh, my apology, Julia." I chuckled back.
"Come on Travis, let's go to my room." Juliet said then I nodded and we walked upstairs to the her room.
"Your Mother is so nice." I said then she smiled.
"She definitely is." She replied then we arrived at her room.
Her room is filled with stickers, papers and more of her stuff. Honestly, it might be the most organized room I've ever seen.
"I really love your room." I complimented her as I wandered around the room while she grabbed something from her table.
"Thank you, Travis." She said as she smiled.
"Please, sit down." She said as she sat down with a book on her hand then I sat down infront of her.
"This is the book we will be using in order for us to create magic. Inside here, we have steps, ingredients, guidelines and many more." Juliet said as she showed me the book.
"Wow, may I touch it?" I asked.
"Sure, but be careful, that book belongs to my great grandparents and that is the only book left." She said as she handed me the book.
"So, we are going to create magic based on what it says in here?" I asked as I slowly opened each pages of the book.
"Not exactly, based on what mother used to tell me, there is a guardian who will helped us in making magic since they are experts." She replied.
"Great! So who is the guardian?" I asked then she sighed.
"My aunt Tia." She replied as I sighed and looked at him.
"Why, the sigh?" I asked in confusion.
"I haven't seen her ever since I was 6. My mother said, she lives several states away and she has to remain her identity a secret, that's why I haven't seen her in such a long time." She replied.
"Oh, so I guess we must go to her?" I asked in confusion.
"Well, we can. But one of the guidelines said in here that anytime when the holder is 16, she will be able to communicate with their specific guardian through the mirror, but only the guardian will be communicating the holder at first since a portal will be opened." Juliet replied as she grabbed the book and scanned over the pages then pointed at the one guideline.
"Wow, I never knew magic has some strict orders." I said then she chuckled.
"That's what I thought at first, but there's more of it." She said.
"But for us not to waste our time, we must start reading the book then afterwards, plan on what magic should do." She said then I nodded.
The both of us started reading the book, at first, it was very awkward because of the silence in the room. But afterwards, we started sharing each others' thoughts and laughter.
Aside of that, I was very amazed of the ingredients, guidelines, steps and much more in the book. Who knew that this moment right now, with the girl I fell in love with since middle school, will happen.
After several hours of reading the book, Juliet and I stopped.
"Not gonna lie, I am not a book reader kind of guy, but I honestly enjoyed reading it." I chuckled.
"Oh wait really? You should read more often." She chuckled as well as she slowly closed the book then I nodded and smiled.
"So I was planning that the both of us will gather ideas based on what we read then we will share it tomorrow after class?" I asked as I frowned.
"You read my mind, Travis." She chuckled then we both did a high-five.
"Same place and same time?" I asked.
"I really want to, but my mother told me that she will coming home very late from work tomorrow, so I will be staying at her office after school." She sighed.
"You can come to my place. My parents gave me a spare key so that I can come home anytime I want." I said as I grabbed the key from my pocket.
"My mother won't allow me going to any boys' house until I am older enough." Juliet said as she stood up then returned her book on a shelf.
"Oh wait, we can go to a diner or any food stop nearby." She suggested as she looked back at me.
"You can go to my parents' bakery, it's just a couple miles away from our school." I said as I stood up.
"Great idea!" She said then we both chuckled.
"So is it a date?" I unexpectedly asked then her chuckle slowly fade away.
Stupid mouth. It wasn't my intention to ask her that question. Another awkward silence happened in the room, luckily Juliet's mother called Juliet.
"Juliet dear! Are you and Travis done working on your project?" Julia asked as she opened the door and all of us turned at her.
"Oh, yes mother, we just finished reading the book Aunt Tia gave to me." Juliet replied then she nodded.
"By the way Travis, me and Juliet are gonna eat dinner in a couple minutes from now, would you like to join us?" Julia asked.
"I would love to Julia, but my curfew is until 7 so I might as well go home right now." I stuttered as I replied Julia.
"Oh no worries Travis." Julia said as all of us started walking down the stairs.
We had a little talk as we went downstairs then to their front porch.
"It was very nice meeting you, Julia." I said as I smiled.
"Same to you, Travis. Please come around anytime." Julia said as Juliet looked at her then I smiled.
"Thank you for having me here, Juliet. See you tomorrow at school." I said then she smiled and waved at me, then I slowly closed the door and left their house.
As I walked home, I suddenly remembered the question I asked Juliet. I felt horrible for myself for asking those words infront of her.
