Hello. let me introduce myself first. I'm Xavier Maple.
And here I am today, going to tell you a story. My story.
Let me tell you a little bit of background in this story
I am a father. Or maybe you could say "once" a father. this story isn't just me. it's about me and my daughter in the familiar feeling home. I was 29 when my daughter was 5. It all started when we decided to plant a maple in our garden in the backyard.
...11st September...
"Hey, Flaxey. I think we should get another tree in the garden."
"What tree?"
"Do you like maple syrup?"
"Yes!"
"Yes? then should we get a maple tree?"
"Yes! I like it."
...15th September...
"Here you go! do you like it?"
"Yeah! now we're going to have a maple!"
"Haha yes, it was a lot of work. I'm glad you like it. now, let's have a lunch."
And after lunch we went to the park for a little bit. that when everything was seem going wrong. I told her to stay in the playground. And I was going to buy water.
"Okay, Flaxey, stay over here, alright?"
"Okay, dad"
...15 minutes later...
"Alright, here I am, Flaxey. I have the water now"
I was looking around the playground but I couldn't find my daughter
"Flaxey?"
I was panicked that my daughter wasn't there. I tried to find Flaxey all over the park. I've asked people around there
"Excuse me, have you seen a blone girl with the red dress?"
All the answers I got was no. nobody seen my daughter. I started to blame myself.
(Ugh, why did I leave her there alone? What kind of father I am?!)
It was getting a little dark. I was even more worried about my daughter.
(Did she got lost? or got kidnapped?!)
I tried to find my daughter until it was really late there. so I tried to calm myself but I couldn't. She was my only daughter. I can't stop thinking about how possibly ways my daughter was gone. but that night I really have to get back to my home even though I still want to find my daughter. before I got home I told some of the people left in the park that if they see my daughter they can call me.
I walked to my home while I still worried and blamed myself for not watching her. when I got home I go to my room and all of the people I could think of to tell is my sister. I called her and told her everything I faced that day. so she called the police that my daughter was missing.
all that night. I can't force myself to sleep...
