Bab 1 - First Day at School
It was my first day at school, and I was already nervous. Everyone around me seemed so confident, laughing and chatting like they knew exactly what to do. But not me. I was shy, closed off, and, to be honest, a bit scared.
I walked into the classroom, clutching my books tightly as if they could protect me from the unknown. The teacher smiled at me, but I could barely look up. She called my name, and I awkwardly waved, my heart racing.
“Hi! I’m Yuna,” I said, barely above a whisper. I could feel the eyes of my classmates on me, but I kept my head down. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to make friends. It was just... hard. I wasn’t used to being the center of attention.
Throughout the class, I tried my best to follow along. I understood some English, but still, it felt like I was missing something.
As the bell rang for lunch, I found a corner to sit by myself. I wasn’t sure where to go, or who to talk to. Everyone else had their groups, their friends. I was just... there.

Bab 2 - The Uncomfortable Stare
It was lunchtime, and I was sitting with my friend, who was laughing and talking confidently. Suddenly, I noticed a guy, not from my class, staring at me from across the room. My stomach twisted into knots. I didn’t like being watched, especially by someone I didn’t know.
"Why is he staring at me?" I whispered to my friend, feeling uncomfortable.
She glanced over at the guy and shrugged with a teasing grin. "Maybe he thinks you're cute."
I couldn’t help but feel my face heat up. I lowered my head, hoping he wouldn’t notice that I had caught him looking. But as I glanced up, he was still staring. My mind started racing. Was it me he was looking at? Or maybe... was it my friend?
I shook the thought away. "No, it’s not me. He must be looking at her," I thought to myself, feeling a bit relieved.
But still, the feeling of being watched didn’t go away. It made me feel exposed, and I just wanted to disappear.

Bab 3 - A New World
The next day, things were a bit better. I had gotten used to the idea of school a little, but I still wasn’t completely comfortable. As I walked through the halls, I could feel the buzz of students everywhere—some laughing, some chatting, and some just... walking, like me.
I went to my locker, opening it slowly, trying to avoid any attention. I wasn’t sure where I belonged yet, but I didn’t want to stand out.
Then, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, and there he was. The guy from yesterday.
My heart skipped a beat. Why was he following me?
He smiled, confident, like he didn’t have a care in the world. “Hey,” he said. “You okay? You seem a little... off.”
I blinked, surprised by his directness. “Uh, yeah, I’m fine,” I said quickly, feeling awkward.
He raised an eyebrow but didn’t push further. “Well, if you need anything, let me know. I’m Kai,” he said, giving a small wave before walking away.
I watched him disappear into the crowd. My mind was spinning. Who was he? Why did he talk to me? And why did it feel like he was paying attention when no one else seemed to notice?
Later that afternoon, I found myself in the school courtyard, sitting alone again. I didn’t really want to interact with anyone. But then I caught myself staring at my phone screen, scrolling mindlessly.
I thought about all the things I could do here... Maybe I could fit in. Or maybe I could just forget it all and enjoy my time. I didn’t have a plan yet, but I knew one thing for sure: this new life was full of surprises.
