Chapter Twelve

Jungkook couldn't straight through the rest of his classes. He still hadn't found you and he was worried sick. The last class of the day finally ended and rushed out the door grabbing his stuff. Some students looked at him weirdly but he didn't care, all he wanted was to find you. The first place he went was to your grandmother's house. He rang the doorbell a couple times, breathing heavily. Your brother Jin, opened the door.

"Yes?"

"I-is Y/n here?"

"No. Wait what happened?"

Your grandma then came forward wondering.

"Is something the matter?" She asked.

"Everything will be fine, I got to go!" Jungkook said, closing the door and going into his car.

Jin watched as Jungkook left, later turning towards your grandma.

"I hope everything is alright, you know how she is granny ..."

She nodded.

~Time Skip~

Driving for a long time now, Jungkook eventually arrived in the city and couldn't find a trace of you. But then he saw a familiar girl with her backpack strapped around her back, waiting for what seemed the bus. She was a bit chubby and with the same psychical features you had. Brown hair with wavy curls, cute freckle face, and a not so skinny but curvy body. And that when he realized it was definitely you.

He parked his car at the side of the road and dashed towards your direction.

You widened your eyes as you saw Jungkook shouting your name as he was running towards you. But you then started running away as fast as you can, trying to avoid him.

Jungkook of course was faster, and grabbed onto your wrist, pulling you back into his chest.

"Where do you think you're going??" He said in a intimidating but calm tone of voice.

"L-let me go Jungkook!! Leave me alone!!" You shouted, trying to free yourself from his grip.

You kept hitting his chest to get away but wouldn't let you.

"Aish Y/n!! Would you stop this nonsense!!! Are you crazy??!! Why are running away??!!' Jungkook shouted, getting frustrated.

"Who told you to follow me?" You asked as he then furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"What?"

"I said who told you to follow me??!!" You yelled.

"N-nobody I was just worried about you."

"Go back home Jungkook. I'm fine on my own." You then said, making him widen his eyes.

"W-what? Ani ani! You're talking to the one and only Jeon Jungkook here! You think I'll leave you alone? C'mon I'm taking you home." He said grabbing your hand to walk with you but you didn't move a bit.

"Y/n!!! Come on!!"

"I told you I'll be fine. Nobody will care if I'm gone anyways."

"No that's not true... What about your grandma and brother? And me? I don't want you to go."

"I-I just don't know anymore... it just feels like the world hates everything about me. Everyone just hates me and badmouths me! I just never feel good about myself... I-I-" Your voice started, tears already falling as your voice cracked.

"Y-Y/n...."

Jungkook then saw you break into a sob, his heart breaking seeing you like this. He knew your insecurity and depression was getting the best of you, making you weak.

He pulled you close and both of his hands cupped your face, staring deeply into your eyes.
