Chapter Nine

~The Next Day~

You walked into class and many of your classmates started whispering to each other. You hid your face trying to cover up your face, that now had a scar on it. You knew they were talking about you, and you could hear Jimin snicker at what they were saying. You stood there looking at Jimin with the hope he would be sorry for what he did, but he just ignored you completely. Biting your lower lip, you tried your best not to let your tears come out. You decided to sit in the far corner of the classroom, to not hear the gossip.

Jungkook who was sitting at the middle, kept glancing at you and decided to sit beside you.

You didn't notice him since you were looking down, your eyes swelling up in tears.

And all during the lecture, you couldn't concentrate, you were feeling like you were going to suffocate... you needed fresh air.

"Miss Kim Y/n, are you alright?" The professor asked, seeing your state.

"N-no." You said.

"Do you need to take a break outside?"

You nodded and he let you out.

"C-can I go with her?" Jungkook asked and then followed you out.

You sat down at a bench outside, taking shaky breaths.

Jungkook then sat beside you and pulling you into his arms, embracing you with care.

Letting out sobs, he hugged you even tighter, rubbing your back.

"Ssshh... it's ok sshh..." Jungkook said softly still embracing you, and after a few minutes, your cries calmed down.

Breaking the hug, your gaze went up at him, making his heart beat faster.

"D-do you feel better?" He stuttered.

You nodded shyly.

"T-thankyou..." You said giving him a small smile, a tint of red now visible on Jungkook's cheeks.

"Your w- welcome...." He said.

He then all of the sudden giggled, making you confused.

"Huh?"

"You look like Rudolph..." He said noticing your red nose.

Jungkook then took a tissue and gave it to you.

"Here wipe your nose, you got a booger."

After wiping your nose, you found him staring at you.

"Y/n-ah..."

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry... "

"Jungkook w-"

"No let me talk..." He then said, making you shut your mouth.

"I want to apologize to you... I've been very mean towards you, I've hurt you countless times and I-I I'm sorry for making you feel so down to yourself... I know you hate me and I don't deserve your forgiveness I-"

"Jungkook..."

"H-huh?"

"I forgive you."

His eyes widened, his brown orbs getting teary.

"W-what??"

"I forgive you Jungkook... I don't want to hate you anymore..."

Jungkook gave you the hugest bunny smile and hugged once again.

"THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I LOVE-" He then realized what he was about to say and quickly stopped himself.

"Aish...what is wrong with me?" Jungkook thought, and mentally facepalmed himself.

"What you were about to say?" You asked.

He all of the sudden got so flustered, his face now tomato red.

"I-UMM- IT'S -NOTHING!!! YEAH NOTHING IMPORTANT!!"
