Chapter 3: Vren's Dark Past

"W-Wait... NO!!!", the man Vren holds shouted.

Vren's face and head was covered with finger bones, like two hands enclosed with each other. It opened, his bone helmet opened. The man saw Vren's face burnt, full of blood, wounds, with eight eyes, a nose, and a mouth. The man can't move as he saw Vren's face, that was a face of a devil, Zauron's face. Vren opened his mouth very wide. In his mouth, shown the gateway of sinner souls to hell. Vren swallowed the man's whole body very fast. After that, he screamed loudly and swallowed all sinner soul's of dead around him. He sent them to the depths of hell.

"Yeah... That's delicious...", Zauron said.

Vren turns back to his human form. He saw his beloved Gretta's ghost looking at him. "Forgive me, Gretta...", he uttered sadly. His tears fell down from his left eye. He failed again to get the justice for her death.

"Vren, let's go. The authorities are coming...", Zauron said while in a form of ghost that only Vren and those like him can see.

Vren had a very dark past. Eleven years have passed since Gretta died. It was her seventeenth birthday. They both went to a park nearside a dam to celebrate her birthday privately. Amidst their celebration, it was 4:00PM, many armed men also wield bats and paddles suddenly approach towards them.

They first smashed the back of Vren's head, last thing he saw was Gretta being grabbed by those men. He can't do anything but to fell down into ground. As he woke up, he felt that he is being tied, he saw those men raping Gretta. "S-Stop!!!! Stop!!!!! You bastards!!!! Let us go!!!!", Vren shouted repeatedly.

"Shut up! You son of a bitch!", said by one man then smashed him by using a bat, repeatedly, until he was covered with his own blood. He is still shouting. Calling for a help, cursing those men.

Gretta suddenly talked to him, making him calm so that he wont get hurt. "I'm okay, Vren... It's okay....", she smiled after that. Gretta bit her tongue to keep herself silent so that Vren can't hear her suffering. He knows she really isn't okay but he can't do a single thing for her. "You are very useless, Vren... You are useless....", he whispered to himself then buried his own face into soil.

After almost an hour, he saw Gretta is unconscious. "Gretta! Gretta!!!", he called her but she's not responding.

"Ahahahahaha! Looks like she's dead! With that number of men, it's impossible for her to stay alive! AHAHAHAHA!!!", one of them said. He sounded like a teenager but Vren can't see his face because of the mask and shades that the man is wearing. "You know Vren, if you didn't taken Gretta away from me, this moment will never happen. But you did, and that is why, I can't resist to forcefully taste her. And now, hmmmm... Nahh, I'm done with her. I know now that she's totally worthless.", the man said.

"You bastard demon! I will fucking kill you whoever you are! You son of a bitch!", Vren angrily shouted.

"Ahahahaha!", the man laughed and grabbed Vren's hair. "You cannot find me anymore, Vren. Your story is now done. It is done.", he whispered to him. The man stands and commands his colleagues, "Go, throw them into dam."

They tied Gretta's unconscious body on a big stone. "No!!! Stop!!! Don't do it!!! Please!!! Please, please!!! No!!!", Vren is begging them for mercy. They laughed at him and kicked the stone into dam.

"NO!!!! YOU FUCKING DEMONS!!!! YOU DEMONS!!!", Vren shouted angrily as Gretta fell into the dam. "Why?! Why is it have to be us?...", he felt grief and anger in his heart. He can't do anything as they tied his body on the stone.

"I'm sorry Vren, but you are right. We really are demons.", the man whispered to him. They kicked the stone and Vren fell down into dam. His body fastly drown deep into water.
