As he gone lost in people with a smile on my face with on reason I head out of the station and wait for my booked cab to drive but soon enough he arrived as I sit in my cab I called my mum and talked for a while to her …..

Since it was early morning it was quite cold (in romantic way) so I told my cab driver please stop one of your favourite tea stall ……

When I told him that I don’t know why he was quite amazed he said sir don’t you wanna check and have fun at famous hotel and all

I said actually nope I don’t like crowd that much and I wanna explore on ground level so yeah

Ok sir I will take you to my favourite the stall and soon enough we were on tel stall …

While sipping out tea I asked him how long it will gonna take to reach the location I put in sir I think we will be reaching around 4 or 5 evening and as I guess you are going to stop for breakfast and lunch so it will be fine I will drop you safely you relax and have fun of view….

I thought he was saying correct I do have to stop for these things so its ok I guess…

Soon again we started our journey and we talked and listened to some old songs and Vibing together and talking about here and there and many more….

Eating ,seeing beautiful view and clicking picture finally I reached hostel around 6pm already and begin. To dark I see off the cab driver I came with my luggage …

So I checked in my hostel so yeah I booked hostel rather than hotel (for certain perks and benefits)…

When I went inside a old men around 50s and 60s sitting near bonfire

I went near him and greeted him and checked in…

He said its quite last for this area so you fresh up quickly I have some Maggie packed you can cook by yourself.as he instructed me I went and quickly changed into my clothes and came down and he was still sitting near bonfire….

Then he showed me the kitchen and gave me some pack of Maggie I made then I served in two plate and took near bonfire and he was watching bonfire closely …

I went near him and handed a plate first he denied but eventually he accepted it…

That how our conversation started..

We started with our into he told me his name was das (can’t say his full name) he was in his 50s and 60s as I told I asked him many things then I asked something !!!

I asked him das sir as I can see this hostel is in out skirts of the city and its pretty empty here so why are you still here….

He simply said cause its empty here thats what I was looking for

I was quite confused what he is trying to say I cant understand…

I said please explain…..

He said ha I know it lets me tell you whole things….

He started with I belong to Kolkata and I used to live with my family and by grace of good I wasn’t able to handle it…

I kept my silence and he continued further he said I was one of my college topper and a grade student I got a placement and I was well settled and soon enough due to my skill I got many promotion I was well settled so my family decided I must get married soon now …

As a typical Indian I cant deny so that how I got married but the person I got married with was very good ..

She had everything I can ask for and soon enough I was again blessed with a daughter and I was happy then something happened and ruined everything I stated to drink and soon enough I was addicted on cray level to be honest and one day my wife opposed I was almost at peak of alcohol and I lost control and got physical with her….

After that what happened I don’t know neither I remember cause when I got up in morning I didn’t find anyone in house I searched and didn’t find …

When I came back at main room at dining table I saw a paper their was a note in that ….

“I know you are a very good human and husband and father too…

But to be honest I cant let see my daughter a drunk man…

And last night I a not angry you got physical with me but I am sad that when you did get physical you were not you a man with alcohol on peak…

Sorry but I am leaving you with my daughter

Hope you get better and maybe one day we will return but till that day please wait for us if you can I am not asking but I wanna believe you will

And I will get to know if you left I will call you once in while ….

But till then I am leaving good bye and taker care and trust me I won’t let your daughter hate you ever cause I know you are best dad our daughter”

Some tears roll down from his eyes. Further he continued

That day I quit drinking and continued to do my job but when everyday I use to come home it feel quit weird and I use to miss her and my daughter …..

Cause of that I was going in depression ….

I have been depression for months and one day I took a decision I sent a mail to my HR regarding my leaving job and I took out every penny I have in my account and counted and left Kolkata and travelled but after weeks or travelling I ended up here and when I came his whole building was abounded pretty much so I somehow managed to connect the owner and he was a rich guy when I went to ask will he sell that land to me he denied …

Not because of money but cause he didn’t want that building to ground here that person have all his childhood memories…

But I told him I will no do anything to building keep that building their and maintain that he asked me why I told everything to him …

He said I will give you the land but one condition you will never destroy that building and the money you wanted to buy that you will use that in restoration of the building I happily agreed and I did like that. Once in a while

He also come and stay with me for days and then head back o his busy life…

Thats how I ended up here….
