chapter 3. someone's Death

" the ...new sage of Death.....?"

yukkuri repeated the words that the boy said with shaking voice...

yukkuri thought to himself that the boy in front of him right now was a very evil person.....

the boy look on yukkuri face that full of fear and smile warmly towards him.....

yukkuri felt a sense of fear when the boy welcome him as the new sage of Death....he didn't know what sage of Death Even means..

but he knows and felt in his body that it's not a good thing for him..... when yukkuri was about to say something towards the boy who's welcoming him with open arms.....the door suddenly open.....

he turned his head to the door and completely ignore the boy presence..

then he see the doctor.... sato came in he quickly turn back at the boy but the boy was suddenly gone..... he survey the room using his eyes but he didn't see him.........

sato who was in the door was looking at yukkuri who's looking around the room...

sato became worried on yukkuri's sudden action so he quickly walk closer to him...

then he noticed yukkuri's pale and sweating face....

" Mr yukkuri are you alright ......is there something hurting in your body.. that you became pale and sweating like crazy""

" ah, no it's nothing doctor sato.......I am fine"

" really"

" yes, I am really alright see"

sato look at yukkuri's who's smiling to him saying that he's feeling alright.....

sato reach on a handkerchief in his left pocket and hand it to yukkuri...

" here please use it to wipe down your sweat on your face"

" ahh... thanks"

yukkuri thankfully grab the handkerchief that sato giving to him.... after the handkerchief was in his hand he instantly wiped the sweat on his face.....

yukkuri was completely lost on thought for a second he was trying to think where the boy go or what will happen to him now....

he wanted to ask the boy on what he means on he make him able to live forever....or ask the boy on what he meant by the new sage of Death....

just thinking about the things happening to him right now make yukkuri's face begin to sweat again....he wiped his face again using the handkerchief that sato give him that already completely drenched in his sweat.....

sato look at yukkuri who's still sweating....

sato felt mad at himself that he can't give yukkuri an answer on what's happening now.....

he thought that yukkuri was afraid on what's happening to him right now so that he was sweating so much....

so sato decided to make yukkuri calm...

" ah I already contacted your parents.... they will be coming here sooner....so you don't have to worry anymore..."

" ehh is that so..."

" yeah so when they come here we're going to do a few test to know what's really happening right now so you don't need to worry anymore...okay.."

yukkuri look at sato and just nodded his head....he didn't have the time to chat to sato or even care at his parents right now he was busy thinking on what to do now......

...........sato look at yukkuri very intense....he look at yukkuri's hand and face. and thought to himself..

' maybe even his'

sato thought of something and quickly ask yukkuri's who's also in deep thought......

" Mr yukkuri!!"

" uh-huh what wrong doctor sato?"

yukkuri was surprised by sato who suddenly call out to him in a very loud voice......

sato who called out to yukkuri was surprised by his action but he still said what in his mind...

" Mr yukkuri ...uh hmm did you try to move your legs???"

yukkuri look at sato with his mouth wide open....then instead of answering he grab the blanket that covering his legs up to his waist.....and trow it to the side then he see that his legs was also became Normal.....in the past his legs was pure bones with a skin. he's that skinny.... ever since he was a child he's legs was paralyzed....so seeing the look of his legs he look back at sato who's also looking at his legs.......

sato notice that yukkuri was looking at him so he fake cough and speak..

" ahem ahem.....Mr yukkuri can you please try moving your toes"

yukkuri who listening to sato didn't obey his request and instead he tried to move both of his legs on the floor after both of he's feet hit the floor of the room......he look at sato who come closer to him trying to support him....he see sato nodded besides him saying that he will support him .....

yukkuri slowly tried stand up......

after he successfully Stand up he look at sato who's also shock like him...so instead of asking the also shock sato.

he just tried walking....he didn't feel anything abnormal or even feel pain... it's just he's feeling weird.. because for yukkuri who's unable to walk since his birth it's his first time standing and walking........

sato who's supposed to support yukkuri was standing there with his mouth open. when he see yukkuri walking he asked him a question......

" is there anything.. painful when you walk Mr yukkuri"

" uhh no, no there's nothing wrong it's just I am not use to it....so some how it feels weird..."

" is that so"

knock knock knock knock knock

both yukkuri and sato heard someone was knocking on the then they hear a voice.....

" doctor sato.. the parents of the patient is here"

after hearing that sato look at yukkuri....

then he see yukkuri nodded indicating that it's okay to let them come in now......

sato quickly open the door.....

after opening the door yukkuri quickly notice the two person on the door.....

the two person on the door was his parents....

when the two person see yukkuri one of them running while crying towards him without saying anything and hug him..... it's his mother.....

yukkuri who's surprised on his. mother suddenly hugging him..... also embrace back his mother....

then he see his father approaching him and also hug him and his mother.....

after a couple of seconds his mother stop hugging and wipe her tears using her hand..and look at yukkuri......

" is that really you yu-kun"

her mother ask in a shaky voice.....

yukkuri smile and look at his mother....

" yes of course it's me mother"

after yukkuri answer it's his father turn to ask questions

"then what happened here....why are you suddenly became normal and healthy..you can now even stand up...."

after asking.. his father look towards sato....

when sato make eye contact with yukkuri's father he answer.....

" well to tell you the truth mr.tanaka I didn't even know what really happened. the nurse just suddenly call me saying that there's is something wrong with Mr yukkuri ......and I came here he's already like that..."

" then what should we do"

his father look at sato with a very worried look on his face....

" well that's why i call the both of you here for you to see the current condition of your son....and I would like permission from the parents to perform simple test to verify if he's already completely cure"

" then I think we should do the test now...to find an answer""

his father look at him after what he said.....

yukkuri nodded his head that he's okay with the test....

after seeing that the yukkuri nodded sato quickly look at yukkuri and ask questions...

" then should I get a wheelchair or would you prefer to walk Mr yukkuri"

" ahh it's okay I think I can walk a little bit longer....no I want to walk a little bit more.....

after hearing that sato broke a smile and head to the door....

" then please follow me "

after an almost hour of test like x-ray, blood test , and laboratory test...and many others......the test finally already ended...

" so doctor is there something wrong with my child"

" doctor what's the results of the test"

yukkuri's father and mother ask at the same time ....... after the test they came back to his room again....

yukkuri also look at sato with a serious expression.....upon seeing yukkuri's indifferent gaze sato sigh and answer...

" well it's normal all the test conducted were very normal....in short your son was very healthy....I don't know what really to say ........ other already his cured "

"is that true doctor ????"

" how?"

" it's really true that he's already cured.....well on how I really did not know I think I have to ask my fellow doctor for their opinions......and I have to review the medical meds that Mr yukkuri take this fast few years to know if some of them hmm......"

" what's wrong doctor''

both yukkuri's parents ask sato.......

sato raise his finger on the ceiling but he's not really pointing in the ceiling rather he's pointing his finger towards the sky also both his parents notice where sato was pointing at......

" it's a miracle I am sure.......may be a god help mr yukkuri . to recover"

" that's....that maybe the right answer"

" yeah I think so too"

yukkuri look at his parents and sato talking to each other with bewildered expression.... especially on sato.....

yukkuri thought...

and he remembers the smile of the the boy..the god that sato saying ......

when yukkuri thought of that he felt sick and want to trow up.....but decided to endure it.....

". then Mr and Mrs Tanaka Mr yukkuri I have to go now and report on this........oh I also would like to ask if you want to let yukkuri stay here in the hospital for a couple of days for us to observe if there were something to happen....well of course according to the test that we take he's already okay to be discharged.......so I will go now.... if you decides later just let the nurse know and they are going to find me.."

"Yes thank you"

"thank you"

both of yukkuri's parents bowed to sato who's already leaving.....

yukkuri also look at sato and bow a little bit to show his gratitude..........

after sato leave the room his parents walk towards him and hug him again..... after a couple of minutes both of his parent let go of him......and smile

" I'm glad for you yu-kun. "

" yeah me to..I'm glad "

both his parents said to him with a smile.... yukkuri just also smile back at them... but unlike them he didn't feel happy at all because the boy suddenly vanished.......he didn't know what will happen now.....

" yu- Kun, do you want to stay here for a couple of days. so that they can observe you... you see I am worried that there might become sudden changes on your health just like this time ......."

" yeah I agree with your mother I think it's better for you to stay here for a few more days just to be sure...."

yukkuri look at his parents who's very worried for him he felt relief despite being afraid and nervous today...he smile at them and answer....

" no I think that there's nothing wrong anymore in my body so I want to go home....... besides I am already sick of being here"

his parents smile bitterly at yukkuri's answer....

" is that so...well it's your decision "

" yeah... let's go home"

after his parents done talking to him....his mother gave him a small bag it contains his clothes..... his parents told him that he should change clothes ......so his parents wait out side of the room while he was changing......

after yukkuri done changing he look around the room for the last time.....he thought that the boy might come back but he's disappointed that the boy was not there.....then he approach the table and get his phone.....

after he opened the door and get out..

yukkuri see his mother holding a cell phone near her ear yukkuri thought that her mother was probably talking to her friends and telling that her son was already out of the hospital.....

when he was walking towards his parents..

he noticed that he's mother was crying and his was looking devastated...he got a very bad feeling about this situation....so he quickly walk to his parents and ask them.....

" mother , father.... what's wrong .... especially you mother .why are you crying....."

yukkuri ask his parents nervously he noticed that the hand of his mother that holding the cell phone was shaking......

his mother look at yukkuri in the face .....

" it's... It's the itto family"

"kaede's family"

" kaede- ...... family"

" what's wrong with kaede's family..!!!???? "

" kaede.....they said that she got on an accident""

yukkuri was sitting on a chair outside of the emergency room.....

he can hear his parents comforting and calming down kaede's family far from him....

he was sitting on a chair with his head down and hands clasped together..........

he remembers the moment that his mother say that kaede go on an accident......

after meeting up with kaede's parents...

kaede's mother explain why did this happen....

apparently my mother tell kaede's parents that they are going to the hospital because there's something happens to me.........

so the itto family also got worried for me and decide to follow my parents....also kaede's parents email kaede's that they are going to the hospital to check on me... because there's something happens to me...

but they didn't know that the moment kaede's received and read the email she immediately escape from school....and headed to the hospital.......but on his way on here she got hit by a car ..,.....

and kaede's parents saying that the car and the driver of the car is still at large.........

upon remembering kaede's mother explanation. yukkuri bit down his lips and close his eyes.........

' this is my fault...if if..'

yukkuri was blaming himself for what happened to kaede and so on he's cursing himself internally.............. then all of a sudden

" so she got caught on a accident ha...."

yukkuri hear a familiar voice.....and he quickly turned his head to his side..... there he see the boy sitting next to him while playing a game on his phone......

yukkuri was shock that the boy suddenly appear out of nowhere.....

" you-.."

" shhhhhhhhh shhhhhhh"

yukkuri was about to shout..when the boy put a finger in his mouth and hiss at yukkuri to be quite.....

" come on don't shout in here where in a hospital you know"

" you 💢"

" and if you suddenly shout at me here people will think you're crazy you know....... your the only one who can see me after all."

" hmm"

" good so let's just wait on what will happen.."

yukkuri was shock on what's happening and was about to ask the boy. but for some reason he can't bring himself to speak so he just look away at the boy and look on the ground while his hands are clasped together tightly,......

upon seeing this the boy smile at yukkuri and look at his phone continuing to play....

after a couple of hours the door of the emergency room opened and yukkuri see the doctor came out and he also see the other nurse following the doctor out side ......

the doctor walk pass yukkuri who's looking at the door of the emergency room blankly....

upon seeing the doctor came out of the room he was feeling kind of weird and iffy for some reason... he's heart starting to beat faster he's getting a bad feeling since earlier and it became worse when the doctor and nurse came out of the room.......then

" hmm so she died ha "

yukkuri look at the boy quickly after hearing him and tears suddenly fall down from his eyes like water fall....

after he heard the boy he look towards the direction of where his parents are.....then he see the mother of kaede was crying while sitting on the floor..and he see his mother and father, and the others trying to calm her down...........

" then shall we go in "

yukkuri turned back to look at the boy at his suggestion....and he quickly walk towards the door of the emergency room and open the door....

the door open with ease and the others didn't notice him enter because they were busy on kaede's parents......

when yukkuri open the door and enter the boy was already there inside the room smiling towards him.....

yukkuri was not surprised anymore and just ignore the boy and look away from him......

then he see the operating bed he see some one was on there but he can't see the person because the body was covered on a green blanket.....

but he knows and feel that it's kaede's body

he felt that he's heart was breaking and his mind is going crazy........

" hmm this is interesting"

yukkuri look at his side he see the boy looking at kaede's corpse while holding his chin thinking deeply about something....,..

upon seeing this yukkuri was furious.....

" you did this. you also did this 💢......is this also your fault your doing!!!!! "

yukkuri look at the boy angrily clenching his fist and gritting his teeth....

the boy look at the angry yukkuri and smile mockingly......

" huh did you really think that I will drive a car just to kill this woman........ are you idiot"

yukkuri also know that he was being unreasonable blaming others without reasons but he was frustrated and suspicious about the boy........

" I remember you saying that kaede was unlucky.....is this what you mean by that"

" hmmm something like that......."

yukkuri look at the boy angrily he has a urge to punch the boy but he stopped himself from doing so.... because he felt that if he punch the boy he might die....

" then why didn't you stopped it.......why didn't you tell me"

" well because I already stopped it"

yukkuri look at the boy with bewildered expression on his face ......,.........
