Tales of The Central Continent

Alex went inside of the room that was prepared for him. He was in dazed for a moment of how big and neat the room is. He knew he can't stay comfortable in this kind of situation he's in. The maid that bring him here told Alex to take a bath as Gries ordered. He nodded and watched the maid leave the room.

After he took a bath, he went out to take a short walk when he saw Selena. Selena was on her way to her sleeping chamber not far from Alex's room. Alex didn't want to be seen nor he want to be rude, he just doesn't want any trouble for now. Alex was pretty well hidden but Selena still can sense someone near her (well, she's a necromancer, of course she can sense any souls wandering around or not).

"Don't need to hide, come show yourself" Selena command knowing someone was hiding from her. Alex didn't want any trouble so he come out. It's not like Selena doesn't know his existence in the castle. When he walk towards Selena she has a little bit of a startled expression. "I thought you where Qillian, how ignorent I am" Selena said out of relief. Alex was a little confused.

"Why do you think I was Lady Qillian?" he asked. He then realized that he didn't ask permission to speak and thought he pissed her off. They have been so many maids and people who where killed for being rude towards the Nightmoon's. He was just standing there, hoping Selena was not pissed off.

Selena gave him a cold glare that send shivers down Alex's shoulder. Alex was looking as pale as a dead man at that very moment. "Nothing, it's just an order from the Dark Lord" Selena reply with a low sigh. "The Lord told me to not let anyone saw you for a moment" Selena said after. "{ Thank God she doesn't get pissed ミ●﹏×ミ }" he said in his mind.

"For now, please hide your existence from anyone in the castle especially Qillian. The Lord, Gries and I are the only souls who knows your existence in this palace. And don't worry about the maids and servants, they won't say a single word when they saw you, or else..." Selena said before leaving. He was half alive when Selena said the word else. It was very terrifying.

After walking for a bit, he went back to his room when he saw Gries standing infront of the door. Gries notice Alex and walk towards him. Alex didn't even get to say Hi and Gries already dragged him (poor Alex ╥﹏╥ ). Gries bring Alex to the castle's forest not far from the Poison Valley. Deep in the forest, Alex saw an open space there with nothing. Gries swoosh (you know, the things they do with their hand when they like do some magic😂) her hand and some small cottage appears.

*Gries has the 'Shadow' skill which is an ability that works like a barrier. The person who has this ability can make someone or something look like the way they wanted it to be but in reality the someone nor something didn't actually changes*

Alex was in dazed. He didn't know Gries can do that. "I didn't know you can do that. Make a cottage appeared out of nowhere" he said while stepping inside of the cottage. Gries only ignored Alex and told him to take a sit. "A strong warrior living in the forest. Now that's a cute name for you" he said placing his head on his hand, with a grin.

While Alex was sitting, Gries was in the kitchen. She blushed a bit when Alex said that it's cute for her living in this cottage, but she quickly stop her red face and make them some tea. "About this place, please don't tell anyone about it. I make this by myself decades ago. Besides, the Lord would torn down this place if he knew" Gries said while bringing the tea to the table.

They both sat on the dining area talking about how long they haven't met and how they were struggling to make a little treehouse back on the Nameless Land. "How's your life been going through this decades? Since my father has been training me through this decades, I didn't have the time to ask how your condition is" Alex reply Gries with a I'm fine. But the words were just to suspicious that Gries has ask. "You don't need to lie to me. I'm the one who knows you the most. Just tell me what's going on" Gries trying to convince him to say the truth.

"Well, you see. I'm kinda in a situation here. I-" he stop talking. Why is it so hard for Alex to tell her the truth? Is it have something why he has just appeared after 100 years?

HII!! I know I haven't post for two weeks, my bad😅. I was busy with school work and else (actually spending time lazing around more🙂).
