They have arrived in the palace a few hours later. When they entered, the Dark Lord and Her Highness themselves was standing there. Gries walk forward "I have bring him as you commanded, father" she said while lowering her head.

The Queen is the one who walked closer this time, she look at the guy with a deadly stare. "Bring him to the dungeon!" the Queen commanded the guards. The guards then drag him to the dungeon. The Dark Lord then walk closer towards Gries "You've done your part, you are now dismissed" . Gries nodded but then ask "Father, about yesterday, what do you want to discuss" the Dark Lord quickly replied. "We'll discuss it later with your siblings"

It has been a week, Alex is still in the dungeon and Gries sometimes secretly visited him. He still won't say anything, how he get here nor why he's here, he keep saying that he just wanted to see Gries.

"It's no use, he won't say a thing" Selena sighed. A few seconds later, Gries walked inside, seeing Selena and the Dark Lord standing infront of Alex. "Why are you here?" asked the Lord. She greet them before answering "Selena was the one who called for me, father"

"Ah, yes" Selena remembered. "Come with me" she then walk towards the door. Gries followed Selena from behind, leaving Alex in the hand of a heartless ruler, the Dark Lord. "Why do you called me?" asked Gries as they both are outside the room.

"I've always used this one method in the dungeon rule book that if someone doesn't want to say a word, but I might need you" Selena explain. "What kind of method?" Gries asked, agreeing with Selena's idea. "The Lord always thought me to use force and if the person refuse again, I needed to torture the person they love or care of. It's the only method" Selena said.

" So, you're gonna torture me? " Gries asked. "NO, I just need you to persuade him, maybe he'll listen to you"

Selena explain. "But if he refuse to say it again, I give you permission to do what you should do... " Gries said without hesitation.

Selena didn't want to agree because it is in the rules that the person in charge of the dungeon have to do the torturing. "It's fine, we have been raised to endure pain all this year, this little torturing won't hurt me that much" Gries said with an 'UwU' face. "In this serious time, you're still making a joke" Selena sigh with her hand covering her face.

They walk inside and Gries asked for the Dark Lord and Selena to wait outside as she stay and talk with Alex. After they went out, Gries stand infront of Alex who is tied up on a chair. Alex's back was hurt badly that it leaves scars and blood.

"Why don't you just tell us your motive going here, you would have been release if you do so" Gries said. Alex just seat there quietly, didn't care about what Gries just say to him. "It's me Alex, Little Shadow..." Gries said, hopping he would say something. He talk, but it was not the kind of reply Gries wanted. "I'm not sure if you are the Little Shadow I once know, you're different... ". Gries didn't expect Alex to say that, it was quite shocking.

"If you don't want to, then it's fine..." Gries said walking towards the door. "Wait" Alex stop Gries from exiting. Gries then make a small satisfied grin that Alex can't see because her plan works. Gries then turn her head to Alex. "I do have something to say" he said looking straight into Gries's eyes who was standing infront of the door.

Gries's plan was to look pitiful infront of him so he could feel guilty if he didn't told his old friend the truth, and eventually, the plan works. You can't blame her for being like that when she is the daughter of the Dark Lord, their actings are quite skilled.

Afterwards, Alex explained everything to Aries, but won't even say anything when other asked. It frustrates the Lord a little. Then Selena has to discuss something with the Lord that didn't concern Gries, so they step out of the cell for a quick moment. "Then, let's start with what is your identity" Gries started the conversation. Gries stood up and said" But before that, let's go to a place where it is more proper and comfortable to talk instead". She told the guards to open the chains around his wrist.

The guards stand there for a minute hesitantly. "But Lady Gries, we need to let him here, we won't know if he tried to escape or something. And we also need Lady Selena's permission because she is the one in charge here" the guards said carefully. Gries was at the edge of beating the guards, but what the guard mentioned was true, but she still didn't care. Like she always were, she took the chains and break it like it was nothing, then dragging poor Alex outside.

They are now outside of the dungeon. "Can I trust you not escaping?" she asked Alex, whether can she trust him or not. "Well it's up to you, M'lady" Alex shrugged his shoulder and his hand on the back of his head smiling.

Her face drop to the palms of her hand, seeing Alex can even laugh when she was trying to be serious. "Do you think this is a laughing matter" Gries said with an unamused voice. Alex pout a little because of how Gries being serious and totally wasn't like she was before. He just follow Gries from behind with a little pout.

Back in the castle, Gries told the maid to prepare a room for Alex to stay. "We'll talk about it later, I have another thing to do" she say before leaving. She then take Alex's hand and place something on his palm and then closing it. She left a small smile after then leave. A smile was carve on Alex's face making him blushed a bit.
