Goddess

I slowly opened my eyes, I could hear someone screaming violently, really loudly from a distance. My body laid on a soft but not comfortable thingy, telling from the smell. I was in a hospital. I hate that smell it makes me sick, I felt like throwing up.

My head hurt and the guy screaming wouldn't stop he changed and started grunting which was also annoying couldn't he just take a lap or something. I looked at the white ceiling above above me, I could hear soft calm voices next to me and my eyes wandered else where, I saw a hand, all of it seemed wrapped with bandage. My eyes traveled to a soft smooth cheek, from my angle I could only see one side and damn I really was already pleased, and then, she turned.

From her long eyes lashes, the cute small pointy nose, gentle jawline. She smiled.

I died.

The dimpled smile, big brown liquid-ish eyes small pink/scarlet lips. She was definitely some kind of goddess. Was I in heaven ? I was sure I had just passed on and that was the right place, heaven. The goddess of beauty was welcoming me.

" Hi " she said and I'm sure she sung, the noise all around me went mute, and I guess I died the second time. It was like I had traveled....

" Ok, ok I get it she is amazing, beautiful so what " Luke cuts me off.

" She is a marvelous creature, nature at its best, queen of..." I sound sloppy and mad and drunk which I partly I'm, I think.

" Man, I wish I could record you right now, you sound so stupid " he says and throws me on the bed.

" I'm getting tired of hearing her name all the time man, get a life, it's been like..." he is starting with his lecture and I'm not ready to listen to it.

" Can I complete my story now " I say my words still sloppy.

" No, no I know how it ends, you've told me like a thousand times now " he says immediately.

" So when..."

" She smiled at you the woman next to her was her mom, she says her name is Anisha and it's... "

" The cutest name I've ever heard " I smile foolishly.

" She introduced you to her mom, then you went for water or something while her mom prepared for them to leave, you bonded and so on, isn't it " he said quickly.

" I don't care bro, just sleep ok " he turns around. He's eyes get caught at the window side.

He sighs and turns back to me.

" Dude, you've got to stop drawing pictures of her "

"...." I pretend to be asleep and avoid his stupid lectures.

" I know you're not sleeping man "

" Do something productive you're no longer eighteen, you're twenty four man "

' Twenty three ' I want to correct him but then he will know I'm not asleep.

he gives up I'm not responding and it seems like he's talking to himself.

" Clear this room man " he says as he walks out.

" I won't " I whisper

" You will " he says and closes the door, he always had sharp big ears.

I also look at the window, I see her face.

" I'm so stupid " I whisper to myself.

" So Jarad, right ? "

I was not yet used to her, and when she asked me this I wasn't sure she was talking to me. My brain took along time to process it before I could say.

" Yeah "

" Where do you live ? "

" Is it far from here ? "

" No I was actually about to reach before, that happened " I said the last statement a bit quietly.

" Ahh, tell me about it, mom's new car is all crashed at the front, dad is going to be pissed "

" You're mom's car is really cool "

" Was cool " she makes a pause. I was surprised by how free she was. I was not sure whether this was her personality or something else.

" Where were you coming from ? " I didn't know whether to tell her or not.

" I'm from my dad's place " I said.

" You don't seem to excited though "

" Does it show ? " I asked her.

" No, not so much but at the bus you seemed sad, even now, somehow " I was clearly surprised how did she read me, so she was a goddess, a mind reading goddess.

" Well, it's complicated..." I knew I shouldn't tell her.

She looked at me and melted my heart.

" I live with my Grandma, I always wanted to visit my dad and when I reached there he was nothing like I pictured, he is a drunkard " I said. She looked at me eyes wide open.

" Sorry, I said too much, completely spoils the mood, I know, it's just..."

" Shh " she stood infront of me and put her index finger on my mouth.

I shook my head unsure of whether what was happening was real.

" And your mom " she says softly her index finger still on my mouth.

I looked down and shook my head, The pain goes away, I felt like crying a little.

She holds my hand and lifts up my chin.

" I'm sorry " she looked in my eyes and it was as if she was reading my pain, I could see it in her eyes, certain pain and pity.

I relaxed and then realized how close she was too me, I think she also realized the same.

We looked into each others eyes and my heart beats go up but slowly they become normal.

That moment felt like an eternity and if I could go back in time I would.

I moved my fave closer to hers slowly. I don't know what came over me that day, but if I could go back in time I would.
