a dog's guilty pleasure

The days that follows, I spend it idly either sleeping or playing with the cellular phone of Crystal, I mean my phone, all of Crystal's are now mine.

Using it, I practiced speaking the human language. As one of the genius in my race, I successfully mastered it on a week.

"I've been wolfing on the food on the refrigerator this days. As a treat for mastering the human language, I gotta go out and buy my favorite food."

I headed to the department store.

On the way, I saw a signage.

My dog soul couldn't resist the temptation. I am wagging my tail in excitement while heading into the store.

I look around.

Premium brands are neatly arranged on shelves waiting for me to take them home.

My dog soul was so elated.

I hurriedly picked my favorites.

All in all, I bought a classy dog bowl and five bags of pedicree (altered to avoid illegal advertisement).

I went home hopping in joy and bliss. Entering my unit, I switched on the television. I then open a bag and serve it for me to dig in while watching.

Smilingly, I picked a pellet. Raised it above my head and shouted.

"This is what we call a happy dog life!"

I eat that pellet and chew...

I stopped. My eyes turn wide. My face started to turn red and from red to purple.

"bah!"

I vomit the content of my mouth.

using my hand, I wiped my tounge in hope of getting rid of the aweful flavor.

But the flavor seems to be stuck in my mouth.. I hurriedly went into the kitchen sink and rinse my mouth.

"wah... why does it taste different from my previous life."

Snot and tears are falling off my face.

I close my eyes. Peering into the merged memory, I started to turn back to the reality that I am now a human.

"Oh my, I am no longer my doggy self before. I am now a human, I should and I have to act as one."

I then vow to myself to get rid of my doggy habits and to fully accept that I am now Crystal.

"Goodbye beauty, I am now Crystal."

My phone started ringing in the sofa.

I picked my phone

"Hello?"

"eeek!!!!!" a shriek welcomes me on the other end. I know who the caller is. It must be Jewel.

"Crystal, the five upholder of justice is finally on!" Jewel excitedly exclaimed.

"Can you please make it clear Jewel?" I asked.

This lass, Jewel, could easily get excited on little news so I can't put my hopes high in what she is about to tell me.

All I can hear in the other end is an excited girl giggling here and there.

"Well, someone named Crystal is still waiting here..." I asked again. Jewel completely forgot to tell me the main point.

"You're part of Crime division effective on monday."
