First day at the company

Emma: *Yawn* Please let me sleep once more....*yawn*

(I feel like yawning right now 🤣)

Lacey (Maid): No miss, you have to wake up early today. It's your first day at your Company.

Emma: (Still in a sleepy mode with her eyepatch on her forehead)

How many times do I have to tell you? I am not miss! I am Emma....just Emma. (Making a cute puppy face)

Lacey (Maid): Okay Emma, you need to get up. Otherwise Mr. Dankworth will be angry.

Emma: Aishh.... Daddy is always angry! Nothing newww. But fine, since you're my friend. I'll sacrifice my sleep to save your job.😌

Lacey (maid): My pleasure. *Chuckles silently*

°After 1 hour of singing in shower 🚿 and doing makeover she came out°

Emma: How is this girly lookin' Lacey?

Lacey: Mis- I mean Emma....umm. I would recommend something more formal for your first day. Maybe a dress kind of?

Emma: ugh....no one gets my style. Fine, I'll change😤 *scoffs*

Emma: How about this my lady?

Lacey: Wow.... you're looking gorgeous mi--emma. *Speechless*

Emma: Alright! If you say so. Though the last one was more comfortable.See ya😘. She passes a flying kiss to her.

(Yeah she gets a bit flirty with girls although she is straight🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Emma moves towards the exit of the room but she stabs her toe at one of the corners of bed.

Lacey: Hey careful!

Emma: Agghhh!!!! What the hell universe😣😩😫. Why am I so clumsy. Madly clumsy....

Emma entered the office of one of the most renown companies of europe.

SUNSHINE SQUARE

Which is owned by the Dankworths' (Emma's family)

They are a chain of successful apartments and societies. (Basically properties).

And today Mr. And Mrs. Dankworth were handing over the company to Emma Dankworth as she was their only daughter and not to forget that she was highly qualified in academics and was very brilliant.

But her interest was never in business rather her interest was in music but she knew that to handover such a big company to anybody would be risky so that's why she agreed to take over it.

Today was her first day as a CEO of Sunshine Square.

Everyone in the company welcomed Emma cheerfully.

Employees: Good Morning Ma'am!

Emma: Good Morning everyone! From this day I will be your new CEO.

And don't think of me as one of those STRICT, BOSSY, COLD, HEARTLESS STEREOTYPIC CEOs. *Chuckles while saying this*

Employees chuckle too

Emma: I want to treat all of you as my friends because when you work for your friends, you work better.

Am I right guys!?!?

Employees: Yes ma'am! (They were so happy to be able to work under such a charming lady)

Emma: Did you not eat your breakfast guys? I want it louder!

Employees: YES MA'AM!!!!

Emma: Good! And remember one more thing ; don't call me ma'am or miss or anything like that. I hate to be called that way. Call me Emma only.

Employees: Okay Emma! (Their faces were so bright like they were a child who just got their favourite chocolate. Everyone's dream is to study under a super sweet teacher, and work under a super friendly boss. Their dream was finally true they guessed.)

Stephanie: Hello Emma, I am Stephanie. The company's receptionist. You'll be assigned a personal assistant right away. There are a few people lined up for the interview in your office. You need to select the best from them.

Emma: Okay Stephanie. I'll be glad to that. But since I am new to all of this, I'll hope you'll assist me for the day☺️.

Stephanie: It would be my pleasure 😁.

Emma: Please consider me as your friend. Don't talk with me so formally. I love to make friends ☺️.

Stephanie: Of course Emma! (Never in her life even her friends talked to her like that and now her boss was talking to her like that.

Stephanie: So Emma, there are in total 7 candidates....

This is Charles Tipton

He is the most qualified among all of them. He is from USA. He knows to speak English, Spanish, French, Chinese, German

Emma: Wow not bad huh?

Charles: My pleasure ☺️.

And the second candidate is Jennie Hopper

She is from Spain. She studied from Harvard. (The whole time when Stephanie was talking about Jennie's qualities. Jennie made an unbothered face like she was going to be selected no matter what. This was not unnoticed by Emma. She hates these kind of arrogant people.)

Stephanie: And the third candidate is...

Well, where is the 3rd candidate!?!?

A handsome guy stormed from the door

????: I am so sorry I am late.

Stephanie: Then you should be out. Why are you here? Leave!

Emma: Hey Stephie, relax!

You can come in (pointing towards the Model like candidate)

Stephanie: Okay so let me introduce you to Chen Yi

Emma: Chen? Heard of it somewhere. Well.... Hi Chen Yi. I am Emma.

Chen Yi: yes I know. *They were gladly shaking hands* (Why is this girl making my heartbeat faster) *Chen Yi is blushing*

Stephanie: He is from China and .........

(Sorry guys because I am tired of talking about the qualifications)

Stephanie: And then let me introduce you to Chen Darren.

Darren: I would prefer Darren Chen more. (Coldly)

Stephanie: yeah yeah okay okay.

Emma: (This guy seems interesting) Again Chen? Interesting to meet you.(She forwarded her hand towards him for a friendly handshake)

Darren: (what is she even doing. Who shakes hand with the boss. Did she forget that she is the boss? Such an imperfect behaviour!)

(Shaking hands coldly with her)

Though it was a cold handshake from Darren's side but it brought electrical sparks to Emma.

Stephanie: He is also from China and ............(he is not very qualified)

Emma: *smiles silently within herself with whatever she hears about him*

Then Stephanie also introduces her to the 5th, 6th and 7th candidates.

Stephanie: Now everyone here, please wait in the waiting room in the main hall. We will declare the results in few minutes.

Candidates: Okay!

*They move out of Emma's office*

Stephanie: So what do you think Emma?

I would vote for Charles, Chen Yi and Jennie. They are the most qualified and most experienced as well. *While saying Chen yi's name she blushed*

Emma: It's always not just about experience or qualifications Stephanie. Attitude towards work also matters. You can gain experience and skills while working but if you are not serious about your work then no one can change you.

Stephanie: You're right! So who do you vote for?

Emma: Charles looked great but I don't really want to make him my P.A. Jennie looked really arrogant. And Chen Yi was not on time so he did not make quite of a good first impression. And 5th, 6th and 7th (their names) candidates are not appropriate for the job. So I want to pick Darren Chen as he was looking really professional about his work so we should give him a chance, right?

(Actually these all were just excuses to appoint Darren Chen because Emma developed a tiny- miny crush on Darren now.)

Stephanie: okayy. *Shocked by her decision as Darren was the least qualified among all of them.* As you wish.

Stephanie called all of them inside.

Stephanie: So guys, among all of you Darren Chen has been selected.

Charles : *disappointed*

Jennie: *shocked to the core*

Chen Yi: *confused*

Darren: *no emotion on face just a small smile.

5th, 6th, 7th: Sad, mixed and angry respectively.

All were leaving except Darren

Chen Yi: seems like you won the bet bro! *He whispered in Darren's ear*

Darren: Seems like it! (He replied back)
