11: I THINK YOU MISUNDERSTOOD

"Did you find him?" Mom asked from the other line which I responded with a long deep sigh "Call me back if you found him. Don't worry too much" she said before ending the call.

He left me earlier when I rushed to change my clothes. I never really thought that he would leave me, he's not like that.

"Khaelus…!!" I groaned and drove around the street

I've been to every corner he might go to but I still can't find him. I went to every hotel, restaurant, and even bars but he's not there.

Just when I was about to give up, I saw two guys walking towards an alleyway that I didn't know about. I've never really tried to go there since my friend— Elijah, said that it's a path to somewhere I don't like. He didn't say what it is though, there's no way Khaelus is there too.

"Maybe… I just need to check"

I went out and followed those guys earlier and entered a dark room. It was really dark but if you walk a little longer you'll find a flashing light and that's where you'll find a place. A place I've never seen before.

Most of the people are guys. Like a lot of guys. Some crazy gay couple even bumped into me because they were so busy eating their mouths. They're kissing to put it short.

"There's no way he will be her—" I stopped grunting when a familiar build caught my eye in the corner, in front of the bar counter

It's him. Talking to another guy.

I sighed. I looked for him everywhere and I found him here, leisurely enjoying someone else's company.

I went out and decided to wait for him outside. Not too far though, in case he runs off again.

I'm still thinking though, why would he come to a place like this? He told me he was invited by Nick. Why isn't Nick there though? Why is he with a stranger? He wouldn't have went there if he knew it was a gay bar.

"But…… if he's like that…" I whispered, still thinking thoroughly

There's no way he's gay.

"Khaelles..?" I heard someone murmured, I already knew who it was

I looked at him and smiled. "Mm? You're out?" I queried and stood up fairly "Let's go" I said and hold out my hand motioning him to hold it

"Why are you here?" he asked

"That doesn't matter now, right? Mamá's looking for you" I said and gently pulled him away from the only entrance to that place

"Let's go" I once more, said

"I—"

"You're hopping in with me. I don't care about your car" I demanded

"I didn't even say anything yet!" he complained which made me laugh

"I already know you're going to say that" I said like it's nothing

I grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards my car and pushed him inside. I hurriedly entered the driver's seat too, afraid that he might pull the same stunt on me again.

"The next time you do this again, I'm going to tie you in your bed." I said nonchalantly.

After a few minutes, the words I said registered in my mind and so, I glanced at Khaelus who's clearly clouded, clutching his shirt downwards to cover that.

"That came out wrong" I said and continued driving like I didn't say nor see anything

"Mi hijo! You're back! Did you find—" her words were cut off with Khaelus' response. It was rathee, awkward.

"Yes mom, he found me." he silently said, still gripping the hem of his white shirt.

I sighed before covering him. "Go upstairs Khaelus, I'll talk to mamá" I said to which he responded with a nod and started paving his way upstairs, where his room is located.

"What was that about? You know that I needed to talk to him" she said and I shrugged

"Let him be mamá. He's just having a hard time right now." I said which made her groan in disbelief

"Fine. I'm relying on you Khaelles, take care of your brother for me. He just won't open up no matter what I say" she calmly remarked but I know that inside she's really worried for his son

"Don't worry mamá, I got his back" I reassured and she scowled

"Do you even know what his problem is?" she questioned me and I paused

Remembering where he was earlier, I smiled.

"I think I know what it is" I said which made her rolled her eyes on me like I was some kind of a villain

"Argh! Whatever! Just take care of him. Go now." she said while waving her hand motioning me to leave

I obliged. I went straight to Khaelus' room and waited for him to finish. Though, I'm not sure if he's really taking care of that.

"He's probably doing it, right?" I asked myself and face palmed

After a minute or so, Khaelus came out from his walk-in closet. I really thought he was in the bathroom doing that but I guess I miscalculated. What am I even thinking? He probably did that over an hour ago when I asked him to go to his room.

"Why are you here, again?" he immediately asked

"I'll sleep here" I answered and his eyes widened

"No."

"You can't. Absolutely not!"

"I will though" I sneered at him

"KHAELLES!" he shouted which shocked me

"Don't raise your voice at me!" I responded

"I said NO! You already slept here yesterday!" he grumbled

He really seems to hate me being here. Maybe he really wants to be alone right now.

"Is that what you really want?" I asked

"Why not?" he asked me back

"Really?" I asked again
