Chapter 4

Reader's PoV

It has been a month since my first mission and I've been taking mission since then. I went with either Natsu, Lucy, & Happy or Wendy, Erza, & Carla.

I'm currently going to the guild and maybe look for someone to hang out with.

Passing the streets of Magnolia i couldn't help but smile. This peaceful town makes me want to stay forever but i know i can't.

"Oh! (Y/N)!!" I heard someone call me.

I look around to see them all. Erza was carrying a huge luggage nothing unusual and everyone seems to go somewhere.

"Where are you guys going?" I ask.

"We're taking a quest and hoping you would join us." Erza said.

"Like now?"

"Yeah! I'm all fired up!" Natsu shouted.

"Ehh?? Why didn't you tell me before? I don't have anything and it will take time to--"

"Don't worry! It's all here!" Happy said showing me my bag.

I sweatdrop and feel a little bit of irritated.

"How did you get that?" I ask.

"No need to ask. Let's go!!" Natsu drag me as i sigh.

Lucy would only laugh at Natsu's action. God help me.

"So what's the quest about?"

"It's Capturing a Monster on a Boarding school. It's been kidnapping students and also saving them of they're alive." Lucy explained.

'Boarding School? That sounds familiar.'

We all ride the train and Natsu have pass out while Wendy was fine. The whole ride was about what to do and other things we need to learn about the monster.

"Apparently it wasn't the Dean or Higher ups were the one who filed the quest. It was a victim's family. They lost contact of their daughter 2 weeks ago and it's not easy to contact anyone in the Boarding school and visiting is prohibited." Lucy said.

"Mirajane also said that there's been a rumor that there's Dark Guild who disguise their guild as a school and abducting them then free them in exchange for money." Erza added.

'I see but i hope Victoria's school is not one of the disguised Dark Guild.'

"So where's the Family of the Victim?"

"Well they left their own house and moved into a new one far away from school recently." Lucy replied.

We arrived at the town where the Victim's Family was and went to their new mansion. As the door opens a familiar lady was greeting us.

"Eh?!?" I shouted.

"Is there a problem, (Y/N)?" Gray ask.

"You mean the family of the Victim was the Gregory Family? And Victoria--I mean Lady Victoria was abducted??!" I panicked.

"Yes, It's been awhile Miss (Y/N). Let's get inside everyone. The Gregory family is in the living room expecting you."

We went inside and Lucy walk beside me.

"How do you know the name of the Victim?" She ask.

"It was the girl we were escorting. Remember the school we went before going back to magnolia?"

"That girl?!"

"Sadly, Yes."

We sat across Mr. & Mrs. Gregory. Mrs Gregory has dark circles in her eyes and they were a bit puffy but she was still beautiful.

"Thank you for accepting the quest. I guess you've already read about the quest, am i right?" Mr. Gregory ask which we all nod except Natsu.

"Yeah, Don't worry about it. Will beat the monster in no time!" Natsu said.

'Did he really not heard us or he didn't understand what we were talking about at the train. Oh, i forgot he passed out.'

"As you all know, Our Daughter, Victoria. The day she entered the school was about a month ago and 2 weeks later we can't talk or even visit her. There's something called a magic nullifier in the school which disabled the communication between students and parents and we can't just enter the school without anyone accompanying because the school cannot be seen by others." Mr. Gregory sigh as Mrs. Gregory fought her tears back.

It has been an hour since we left the town and now we're planning on how to locate the school. Even in maps, the school had vanished.

We enter the same forest we went a month ago and I was taken back as i saw it was now filled with fogs. It was thick and hard to see.

We used a torch to serve as a light even though the sun was still up.

I could hear a howl from a far and presence near us. Everyone's guard was up.

"It's to scary!" Wendy commented.

"Yeah, it wasn't like this a month ago." Lucy said looking around.

"It seems like the rumours were indeed true." Gray.

"Wait. Where's Natsu?" I ask as i look around and can't see him.

"I'm here!" Natsu emerged from a fog.

"Where's happy?" Lucy ask him.

"He isn't with you?" He ask back.

"What?! Happy's missing?" I panicked.

"Maybe he's just hiding." Natsu said.

"What are you saying, Natsu?! Can't you--"

"Wahhh!!! There you all are." A crying happy emerge from a fog.

"Where have you been?" Wendy ask him.

"I thought i was tailing Natsu but it was just an animal." He said.

"Now that you said that. There's something wrong with my nose." Wendy said. "Something is not right."

"It's just all your imagination, guys. Let's go now!" Natsu.

"Wait!" Gray shouted. "Are you really, Natsu?" He ask.

"What are you saying, gray?" Lucy ask her.

"You were gone a few moments ago and it may only be a hunch but i think you're not Natsu. So answer this." We all look at Gray and Natsu at the same time.

'Is there really an imposter?!?'
