2. Is she Elena?

A house is on fire.  The flames are rising till the sky.  Everything is burning into ashes. But there is no one to help the people in the house. Suddenly a girl is shouting with all her heart out to help her and save her. She wants to live. But there is no one to listen to her pleas and save her from the fire. 

 As the flames were rising up, the voice stopped and the pieces of the building started to fall down. Soon everything was reduced to ashes and the live bodies were burnt down alive. The whole sky is filled with the fumes from the burnt house.

 A man woke up from his dreams, sat on his bed and yelled in pain, " it's already been three years since I lost you. But I can't believe that you left me alone in this world. You promised me to spend our lives together. Why did you break your promise? Why did you leave me?"

  He gasped and continued his despair, " I am sorry I couldn't save you on that day. But I strongly believe that you are alive somewhere in this world and waiting for me. I will find you. I can't accept the fact that your mother declared your death. Wait for me. I will find you for sure." 

     He took out a photo frame from the drawer near his bed and started looking at her. He couldn't control his tears whenever he saw the photo. He hugged the photo like a kid hugging his doll and tried to sleep. 

    After a few hours, a call woke him up. He woke up and gave a last look to the photo and kept it in his drawer back in its original position and answered the call. the person on the other side said, " Rowen, are you ready? The meeting is about to begin  in one hour. Shall I come to pick you up?"

     Rowen looked at his watch and saw that the time is already 8am. He replied, "I will get ready in fifteen minutes. Come to my home to pick me up. I will view the file on my way in the car." The person on the other side agreed and soon he cut the call.

    He stood up from his bed and went into the washroom to freshen up. Within a few minutes, he dressed up in a blue coat and put on his Rolex watch and came downstairs to see a person already waiting for him in the hall.

    He said, "Rowen, you know that this meeting is very important. How can you be late today? I will buy something for you to eat on the way. Come, let's go." Rowen smiled at him and said, "Richard, you are my secretary. How can you yell at your boss?"

  Richard smiled and said, "stupid, I am your friend before being your secretary. Stop complaining and get started otherwise you will loose your job today. I have already taken the files from your study. Lets go."

   Soon they are in the car. Richard was driving the car, while Rowen was checking the files to be submitted in the meeting in an hour later. After fifteen minutes, the car suddenly stopped. 

   When Rowen was about to ask the reason, Richard said, "wait in the car. I will buy you something to eat. It's not good to skip your breakfast daily." Rowen smiled and continued checking the file. Richard went into a small hotel to buy breakfast.

   Richard returned within five minutes and handed over a packet to Rowen. When he was about to take the packet, his gaze fell on a small girl, who was about to cross the road. A truck was coming in her direction and was about to hit her.

  He rushed out of the car to save the kid but she was picked up by a lady in her mid twenties. He was relaxed to see the kid safe but then he looked at the lady, who picked up the girl and was scolding her for being careless. Her back is facing towards him but he could hear her voice.

She said, "Emily, I asked you to sit on the bench. Why did you come on to the road? You are a small kid to be alone on the road. I can't loose you. So listen to me." The girl nodded. Rowen smiled to see them and he was about to turn back to reach his car. But he saw the lady turning towards him and he saw her face. 

  But she didn't allow him to see her clearly and started moving forward with the girl in her arms. Though she was going in her direction, he stood there frozen. Soon he came back into his senses to listen Richard calling him, "Rowen, we are already late. Come fast."

 But instead of going to the car, he rushed in the direction of the lady by thinking in his mind, "I know that you couldn't leave me alone, you are alive. You proved that I am right. Why didn't you come to me when you were alive? Why are you hiding? I will soon get you back and we will live together like we usually did.

   I met you again in the same way I saw you for the first time. Then you were a small girl helping a boy. But now, you are grown up and matured. But still I feel like you are the same little angel walking towards me. I will never loose you again."
